Yummy's Donut

The fact that I didn't smell food at all when I stepped in the door should have been a warning sign to me - ordered a sausage egg and cheese croissant, what I ended up getting was what looks like a day plus old, sad soggy croissant with rubbery and undercooked sausage, wrapped in plastic wrap. Total 100% ripoff

Friendly, helpful, great prices, and the quality of their donuts is excellent! Best yeasted raised glazed donut I?ve ever had. No contest.

I loved their croissants. They're light, flaky and slightly buttery, exactly the way you want them. I love the batter they use for a lot of their donuts. Been there a couple times, and both time I absolutely enjoyed my experience.

These guys are nice, and the donuts they have taste alright. However, they're extremely basic. Nothing special about anything, might as well just go to the grocery store. Also, I'm not sure they understand what a bear claw is... as there's is more of a funny shaped glazed with a little cinnamon. Look, their prices are fair and,in a pinch, they're fine. But if you're looking for the donut shop experience... better off going elsewhere.

I would've probably gone to 1 star if it weren't for the friendly counter person and one particularly good blueberry donut. The old fashioned tasted stale. I expected something a lot lighter and not so sweet. The coffee was weak and almost undrinkable. I should've went to the gas station instead.

These are the best donuts in town if you can get them but half the time they don't have anything but basic donuts and apple fritters ready, even in the early a.m.

Nice affordable family owned donut shop! Love the local business! They have these jalape?o sausage rolls that are pretty addicting haha. Good advertising and maybe a little music inside would make this place go a long way!

Gone are the days when the owners actually cared. But expensive donuts that are day old or older with almost no glazing are not worth the trip. This was almost the last place that still glazed donuts really good, now the worst. Been going downhill for awhile and we're just done, it's obvious they are not bouncing back. No one wants old bread pretending to be donuts.

If i had to pay for the scent, I would. The lady was very nice. Donuts were delicious. Have driven by every time I pass thru town. Finally stopped. And, I am very glad I did.

Yummy's is operated by a very courteous family, there is no better customer service. The very personable and genuinely caring owners is felt by everyone in the community. I am sold on the taste of my morning breakfast. If every business had the positive and caring attitude we would have great businesses in Sedalia.

Donuts are surely the quintessential American comfort food. There's something profoundly magical about surprising co-workers, neighbors, friends and family with a dozen! There's a great selection and they're toothsome indeed. They're always fresh, and competitively priced. A real treasure and treat!

They are always super friendly here. You'll have to get there early to get the best donuts as they sell out quick. Everything is made fresh and you can tell. I really like that you can choose your filling for donuts instead of them being prefilled and soggy.

Positive, upbeat & personable is the staff. Donuts are NOT greasy and are fresh. The customers are friendly & socially to each other whether you are a new come or a regular. I'm very picky about my donuts, YUMMY has got my business & referrals!

Kolaches are amazing! Donuts are delicious! Most of all, the customer service is phenomenal. My daughter loves this place and drew them a picture to hang on their wall. Such a friendly place to visit and have some coffee and donuts.

Absolutely THE best donuts I've had in Missouri. My experience? I grew up in the donut business and I know the difference between a well made donut and a poorly made donut. This family uses great products, fry their donuts in clean oil and the donuts are HUGE! The first time we went there our donuts were warm, absolutely delicious. I think some of their donuts are the freshest and biggest in town however with the shortage in Manning (workers) makes it hard to keep up with the orders. Had to stand in line today for 15 minutes to make our order and the selection was few, it still must be good because people kept standing in line behind us.

I love going in here for donuts for my family. You're always greeted with a smile and they go out of their way to get you what you want! If there aren't any filled donuts available, they'll take what they have and fill it for you! Could not be more pleased with them ??.

Spent $20 on donuts served by the owners young son when asked if I wanted a receipt I said no unfortunately and went home to check that I was charged $24. When I called to asked what the extra $4 was for the husband/owner stared yelling saying "come get your money than I don't know what happen just come get it" he was extremely rude and did not care about what had happened when i just wanted to know why, so I decided to go in person and the owners son addmited to charging the extra $4 but would not tell me

My family and I go to Yummys every Sunday morning. The family that runs the bakery are some of the friendliest people we have ever met. I personally wouldn't go to any other bakery around based solely on the staff alone. Not to mention the great variety of donuts, breakfast sandwiches, and pastries they sell. And they are soooo delicious! Highly recommended that you try them out, and skip the competition.

The donuts were fine, but when we got there around 9:30, the selection was limited and not very fresh-tasting. The sausage roll sounded interesting, but was just a generic cheese hot dog inside a thin bread bun

Very friendly, was greeted while in line and pleasant while ordering. Donuts (strawberry and a glazed) where light with no greasy aftertaste, amazing! Wish there was one where I live, on my list of place to visit every time I'm back in Sedalia.

The service is not the only amazing thing about this place. The donuts are the BEST donut I?ve ever had, melt in your mouth! The Kolaches AMAZING AND JUICY!

Best place in Sedalia to go to! They usually sell out so you better get there early because it's that good better than Papa Jake's! Good nice wonderful tasting Donuts kolaches you name it, and the service is plum out of this world very nice kind wonderful people! This is one place that I would recommend 1 million percent

Yummy's Donut is one of my favorite donut shops in Missouri; I always try to stop by whenever I'm passing through Sedalia. Their Cream Cheese Filled Rolls and their Butter Rolls are amazing!

OMG, without a doubt the best donuts!!!!! We live in Kansas City. Had donuts here a year ago in 2017 and the donuts were fantastic. We went here again on 8/17/18 before going to the Missouri State Fair. No better donuts anywhere....not even in Kansas City.

Friendliest people! Doughnuts are really good, and they have kolaches which are excellent, too. We go every week as a family breakfast because we all love it so much.

I needed a donut fix while traveling thru Sedalia. I prefer to do business with a local shop vs stopping at WalMart. I could have bought donuts at Casey's or another gas station but why buy one that has been sitting there so long it could be used to pound nails?! Yummy's doesn't have a huge selection but what they have is good. I prefer cake vs raised pastries. Their blueberry donuts are big and tasty. The apple fritters are a bit too sweet for me. They had just what I needed!

Warm fresh delicious donuts, kolaches, pigs-in-blankets, croissants, sausage & egg biscuits, coffee... They have just about everything for breakfast and morning snacks. Great prices, too. Friendly staff.

Quality of food compared to price isn't there. Used to be good but I think they regret the place they chose to open and it's starting to show. No real change of menu at any time. Non donut options seem frozen or just secondary options for those who don't want mouthfuls of sugar for breakfast.

It sucked. I was told I was lucky to get there early when they are fresh both my cake donut and my apple fritter were 2 days old If they were a min.the coffee no better.
