Yum Yum Donuts Lemon Grove

I am obsessed with their whipped cream Long John bar donut. It's gloriously good! The only place, it seems, to get it is at the Yum Yum Donuts in Lemon Grove. I have been to many Yum Yum Donuts and the related Winchell's Donut Houses. They have the Long John bar donut but it ain't whipped cream filled. Sadly, I don't live close enough to Lemon Grove which is both a blessing and a curse. I would probably eat it every day, multiple times a day and the calories would add up on me. We didn't think anyone was inside because it looked deserted but we are glad we checked it out! Everything was fresh and delicious! Many items to choose from and he was able to explain each one. My children loved all of them!

Delicious, better than I remember. Haven?t been to Yum Yum in a while because the recipe seemed to be lacking flavor and fluffiness- not anymore!! Don?t know when it changed but these donuts are light and fluffy and simply delicious with every bite. A little pricey compared to the days of a dozen donut holes for a dollar but I guess I?m aging myself with that one. The clerk was super friendly and engaged pleasantly. I?ll definitely be returning for my periodic donut fix.

Yummy Donuts (as the name implies)! Everyone was so friendly, even the customers! We got donuts and a breakfast burrito and I recommend it all.

Used to come here all the time for like over 10 yrs until I moved out of state. Came back to Cali for a visit and had to stop by, still great

I think this is the best tasting standard donuts. They have customer parking which is nice. A good variety to select from and also a lot of different drinks

Doughnuts always taste great. But the best part of this shop is Octavio! He?s a phenomenal employee! I can always sense his kindness behind the mask. Give him a raise because coming here always gives me faith again in humanity ????

The name says it all: ?Yum Yum?!!!! The staff was very friendly. Donuts were super fresh and full of flavor. The pink glaze was not just plain vanilla with food coloring - It was actually strawberry flavored! Soooooo good!!! ?? We were first-time customers and will definitely be back!!!!

Some of the best donuts I've had at any time of day or night they're fresh. Very nice owners/workers. Also the hot pastrami sandwich is top notch as well. Highly recommend.

Stopped to purchase doughnuts ?? in the morning. Doughnuts were fresh and very tasty. If you purchase a dozen they include 2 extra doughnuts ?? I also purchased a cheese and spinach bagel ?? with cream cheese. The bagel was very tasty They slice the bagel and toast it prior to spreading the cream cheese. Although a bagel with cream cheese is going to set you back about $4.50 which in my opinion is expensive ??

My favorite place for donuts in this area. The donuts are usually fresh and good. The people working here are always cool too. No complaints ever, and I've been here twenty times easily.

I went late at night, there wasnt a very good selection. They didnt have what I went for which was a lemon filled powder donut. I ended up getting a glazed and chocolate twist which were good.

Bought a dozen donuts and a few drinks. Their ?dozen? brings 14 donuts - that?s a good deal. Donuts selection was good; I?ll give them a 5/10 for donut size and topping variety. The bear claws and twists are very large. Taste and fees is where they really seal the deal for a 1/5 star rating. Donuts were dry and the batter was salty. Also appalled to be charged a 0.40cent convenience fee for using a credit card on an $18 purchase. The PC way business owners ensure they don?t lose out on the inevitable fee

The glazed and powdered donut holes along with the old fashioned style donuts are delicious! The lady working super late is very polite and informative (sometimes I like to ask a lot of questions). Prices were also fair. I highly recommend stopping by here if you're out late or up early for some premium delectables.

Best donuts that i have had in the last couple of years! I asked for a dozen, and they gave me a bakers dozen (15)! I was in San Diego for 4 days and we got donuts twice. They aren't your crispy cremes. These have some heft to them.

I love this place. By far my favorite go to DONUTS. I wake up at 0245 just get them the donuts fresh and warm. Donuts holes are to die for. It's so warm and soft. It literally melts in your mouth. Omg! Yum yum has thee best chocolate French Cruellers, but this location has cinnamon churro crueller and they are everything you could possibly imagine it could be! Definitely give them a try.

Best yum yum donuts in all of san diego county i been living in San Diego for a little over 30 years and in all the yum yums locations i've been to before this one comes in at number 1 not only are the donuts just soft and perfect like they just came out the oven but the staff is super friendly and just lovely people working there i work at target in the college grove shopping center and always stop to get a couple breakfast donuts to start my day off right love this place

Absolutely the best coffee I have found so far. The prices are great and the employees are amazing so friendly they even know me by name and usually see me before I walk on... Most of the time if they are not busy they already have my order ready or pretty close...(always get the same thing lol)
