I came here because a friend has been recommending Yum Yum, I don't know if I was at the right store but 2 female workers onsite, not pleasant, very short on communication. Bakery area looked liked it needed a deep cleaning. I could see oil buildup on the equipments. I ordered an ice coffee, tasted like dirt w/syrup. Best damn donuts! Came to San Diego for an extended stay and came to yum yum for an extended stay as well! Lol I?ve had plenty of donuts in my day and krispie Kreme was my go to. I?m sad that we don?t have one in florida. These donuts were waayyyy better! We literally came about 4 times while visiting. yum yum?is telling the truth?..it?s damn Yum yum!

Mini donuts ?? in my honest opinion, the regular size donuts tastes better because u get more of the fluff and good ration of dough to frosting! But nonetheless cute and portion control I guess ?? the real highlight tho... their fresh squeezed juice!!! ???

I came here for the first time on my birthday craving an apple fritter and the place was very clean, the woman at the counter was attentive and pleasant and the display was very attractive. I ended up taking home a box. This morning I will enjoy an old favorite.

I rarely leave reviews unless it?s really bad customer service and this was one of the WORST! I usually love yum yums donuts but this particular woman at this LA Mesa location was RUDE and DISRESPECTFUL. And my donuts were stale for the 2nd time in a row. I felt racially mistreated because I was nothing but respectful but her attitude never change. Wish I got her name but do NOT recommend this location.

I had a glazed twist donut and an iced coffee with cinnamon flavor. I was the only customer at 2pm on a Saturday and they gave me plenty of time to decide from their large selection. The donut was soft and tasty, seemed fresh enough. The ices coffee they did not have dairy free options so I only had the cinnamon flavor added, it kind of burned drinking it as is so I added oat milk when I got home and it was much better. Overall happy with the experience and price.

Very slick with how they charge the" value meal"....tuna bagel was 12$. Rang tuna bagel, small coffee and single donut up for 14$. Bagel was 75% withered lettuce. Save your money ????????????????

The guy at 2:28 is very unhelpful. I asked to see the donuts up closer so I could see what texture the donut was, and he refused to show me. He just kept saying buttermilk, buttermilk. I told him I didn't know what buttermilk meant. He just stood there and wouldn't show me. Rediculas. There's plenty of other 24-hour donut shops. I won't ever come back to this one. Bye

This is my favorite location for donuts , why ? Well I have not tasted the reused oil where they do the donuts. They are fresh and tasty. I have bought in another location close to home but I get the taste of the reused old oil in the donuts.

Worst yum yum donuts ever had a very rude cashier who gave me the wrong donut and when I asked to get the right one she said I already touched the bag so they couldn't exchange it how was I supposed to know it was the wrong donut if I didn't touch the bag so I ended up stuck with the wrong donut that I didn't even like so itrashed it and was out 1.50 cause of their mistake.... pitiful

This is one of those places where I know I can pick anything off the menu and be ok. Never, EVER, disappointed in anything I get here! Everything is absolutely delicious and they have a wide variety of donuts.

I just got a ?dozen? (14) delivered to my doorstep nearby and I RAN here to write this review. We received a wide variety of donuts and donut holes, and each was fresh, soft, crispy on the outside and perfectly doughy within? a knockout hit for EVERY FLAVOR!!! Apple fritter was my favorite? wish I?d gotten more than two! We just moved in nearby and I don?t think I?ll ever go anywhere else for donuts again!

Super fresh donuts and reasonable prices. Nice shop, really clean. They offer more than donuts. Breakfast and lunch items that look great. I'll be back for that. Check out this place. Donuts are excellent.

Donuts: Oreo donut I got was stale. Jelly filled didnt fulfill. Glaze lacking in flavor. They looked beautiful and are good sized donuts but the taste missed it.

I get it?s 4am but it?s VERY difficult to choose donuts outside the building from the window because the doors are locked. Especially when the man and I don?t understand each other. I don't know why, but their donuts are not as good as they should be and certainly not as good as the Yun Yum at the end of College Ave.

I came here this morning at about 4:15 & ordered 2 donuts & a coffee. The coffee was very good & the donuts very stale & dry. It was a surprise too because the donuts were plentiful & looked fresh. I really wanted to have a good experience too because I like that the place is 24 hours. I hope it was a fluke.

The donuts were delicious but the customer service was horrible. I purchased 2 dozen donuts and the lady assisting me was rushing me to pick them. There wasn't even anyone waiting in line. After purchasing 28 donuts, I asked for 2 small paper bags so I can put 2 donuts in individual bags and surprise my kids. The lady said that it was against company policy. She offered to put them in white grocery bags and rolled her eyes at me. I will definitely not return and will find another local spot to purch

31May21, picked up mixed half a dozen donuts. Shelves are stacked which gave me the impression of freshly made donuts, wrong the donuts were dry and tasted like half a day old. First to this YUM YUM, maybe next time changes my opinion if there is next. Customer service great, an older gentleman very respectful and welcoming.

So I came in here yesterday. And I all can say is that the breakfasts onion bagel (ham, egg & cheese), was amazing. I also ordered two iced coffees, vanilla and caramel. Both amazing as well. The two female workers had friendly and attentive attitudes towards each customer that walked through the door. Very clean. And smelling delicious that it actually made me want to pull a homer Simpson quote.

Good donuts. They yelled at my wife for coming in the wrong door even though it's facing the parking lot and not marked exit only. The entrance is facing El Cajon Blvd.

While the donuts and croissants were okay tasting, it was clear that they were a day + old. A bit dry and stale. However, the staff were very polite and helpful. If I went back it would be because of staff and not food quality.

Delicious donuts, food & drinks. However their customer service is what makes this whole experience bad. I asked for bagle the man I forgot his name (worked night of 07/10/22) did not want to make it. Then I asked for a Banana Milkshake he says again no to making the Milkshake and then suggest a Chocolate milk? Really upsetting when they dont want to do there job & Expecially when they are rude about it. Overall you will get good food but not the customer service, so if you don't want your day/night ruined

Yum Yum donuts is the best in the East Part of San Diego. Always fresh, well shaped donuts and available anytime they are open. By comparison go to DD Duncan Donuts and by mid day they are out of donuts. Yum Yum donuts are made on the location. The physical location is clean and neat. They follow Covad19 restrictions with ridgid plastic enclosing display cases on the customer side. The Yum Yum "dozen" donuts is a count 14 pieces. Highly recommend! Andy

Stopped in on for breakfast I ordered a breakfast croissant with Eggs Bacon, Avocado, and Cheese and a fresh squeezed orange juice. Let me start with the orange juice it tasted very old had sour weird taste and my breakfast croissant had no avocado and one strip of bacon. Very disappointed I have ordered before and very yummy not today

Amazing apple fritters! Also had the crumb donut and butter milk bar with chocolate icing, both pretty good. But just get a dozen apple fritters! Also the lady behind the counter was super nice, dunno what the other reviews are talking about.

Ok I. A driver I eat very much where ever. Mostly taco shop, donut places. Like YUM-YUM, WINCHELL. I get really disappointed when I open my bagel ?? y expecting (cream cheese, tomatoes, and jalape?os) but it's only cream cheese. I mean thats not right. Clean place, cashier it doesn't look really happy. The older lady it's wayyy nicer then the other one.

Was rather surprised to see this location serve fresh squeezed orange juice and bagels that all sorts of meats that could be added. So much better than the store in Kearney Mesa.. This location is a great stop for more than just donuts and I was rewarded with great munchies.

Older Hispanic Lady is rather rude an unfriendly. I live a block away from Yum Yum Donuts. I drive 1.6 miles to Sunny Donuts just because of the staff in Yum Yum. Found plastic in my donut and when I brought it to the person at the counters attention they refused to give me a refund. It was in the cream of the chocolate eclair. I could have choked and died I will report this to corporate and I know for a fact there is video evidence. Be careful eating from this place they mishandle food apparently and are extremely rude to customers when brought to their attention.

Surprisingly, their orange juice is amazing and their bagel sandwiches are super delish. As for the obvious, their donuts are glorious! If you like powdered donuts, you gotta get their powdered donut holes. They are the best ever.

Omg this is the best lil donut shop around they have everything and everything is always fresh! They also have the best Raspadas ??which is like an icee drink and I am so addicted it's crazy they also make beautiful sandwiches ?? the crullers are so soft and melt in your mouth and the buttermilk donuts are so dang good !!!!

Bought beautiful looking blueberry muffins. Turns out there were a few fake blueberries sprinkled on top but none in the muffin and no real ones Muffin was dry and inedible. Very disappointed.

This Yum Yum is a gem. The donut choices are impressive. They offer many other menu choices too.

The one thing about this bakery is that the man who is the Baker is from Mexico and he bakes what is known as holiday bread they bread banana bread blueberry all different kinds of bread small loafs Please go in and ask for holiday bread.
