Yonutz Donuts and Ice Cream - Boise

After viewing a TikTok video, we decided to try the Cookies and Cream Smashed Donut, featuring Cookies 'n Cream ice cream, vanilla drizzle, Oreos, and Chips Ahoy. While the product was acceptable, we found the ice cream quantity insufficient and its rapid melting resulted in a messy experience. Given our preference and the overall experience, we do not anticipate returning; however, it may be worth trying for others.

Saw this place on TikTok and had to make this stop while I was in the area, I had the Banana Pudding Smash Shake topped with a mini Fruity Pebbles donut and the Kinder Smashed Donut both were definitely up to the hype another business I can't wait see come to Washington, I'll be making a stop back in the next time I come across one of these to try out something different!

I am bummed to give this place one star, but it is not well managed at all. Whoever decided to make one poor young girl run the entire store alone on the weekend is not making good choices. Our family's favorite spot for a weekend treat! We LOVE Yonutz! The employees are so kind & welcoming. The atmosphere is great, our kids love the colorful eccentric style of the space. Their donuts are all unique. It's fun to try new flavors. My best piece of advice is get there early when they have half priced day old donuts. They're just as good & a great way to save a few bucks & try new flavors!

This place is a super unique donut shop! I never thought filling a donut with ice-cream and putting loads of toppings on top would be so good! And there are so many fun creative flavors! The employees are all so sweet and nice! Everybody should try going to this place at least once!

These donuts make me sick. I first tried them in July and that same day I felt very sick and threw up, I didn?t really think anything of it. Fast forward to January, I got really sick after eating a donut from this place again.

While the donuts we had were good the service is atrocious. The two young girls working last night need a lesson in customer service. I saw this place the other week. It is tucked away in the corner. So my wife and I stopped in today 5/17/25 to check it out.

What a fun way to eat donuts!!! We got a box of mini donuts of assorted flavors, and they were delicious! It was my 2nd time in the shop since my kids raved about the donuts I brought home the last time. You can order a shake with a donut on top called Smash Milkshakes, you can have a donut ice cream sandwich called Smash Donuts, or just ice cream by itself or like me....just donuts!! The shop is bright and fun for kids, like walking to a candy store. Stop in! You'll enjoy it!!

The wait was well worth it! We tried the donuts, smash donuts and shakes! The donuts were so fluffy and the uniqueness of mix ins is what makes this place special. "Closed on Tuesdays until further notice". The website does not say this. Google maps does not say this. I tried calling and nobody picked up. Yet I can still place an online order for Tuesday and the huge "Open" sign is still on despite it being Tuesday, the doors are locked and the lights are off. Best donuts i've had in a while! They did not have that overwhelmingly sugary taste to them like most other donuts do, and the same with all the toppings, they were amazing. 100% coming back again!!

I found this donut/ice cream shop totally by accident while I was browsing Uber Eats! Oh my goodness everything is AMAZING! I ordered donuts and the peanut butter cup shake and the unicorn shake for myself and my son. Wonderful donuts and wonderful shakes! I highly recommend trying all they have to offer!!

Oh wow, these donuts are *so* delicious! The staff did an absolutely amazing job, especially considering the large amount of people waiting in the lobby. We ordered a dozen donuts from here after seeing them on Uber Eats and wow they were amazing. Good...not great. Very limited Gluten-free options. Small servings, high prices. Hard to understand why they're still around. It's good, just not that good. Would not go there unless I have kids, even then, it's once every two years.

I went in for donuts and found a chair that was broken that almost caused me to fall, a bathroom that hadn't been cleaned in hours (and it showed), and ants on the floor. If I were a health inspector I'd have shut them down. Disgusting.

The donuts are very creative and taste amazing and the smash donuts are the perfect mix between hot and cold with outside for the donut and ice cream on the inside and the shakes looked mouthwatering!

This place gets A+++!!! Customer service 110% Ordered Door Dash delivery and mistakenly missed 1/2 the order, when I called they offered to hand deliver. They did but ended up at wrong business. Delicious and fun donut options! They're not too sweet somehow. The donuts are a little more bready than what you might get at Krispy Kreme, but that allows you to have more fun with the toppings without getting sick from all the sweetness. We loved the Samoa and the Boston cream pie

If you're going to close your restaurant, update your website and Google maps. I went into town just for this, only to find out they're closed on Tuesdays. Decent place, nice food it you're just going there every once in a while for a treat. More expensive than expected, but it's only around $7.50 a person.

I took my kids here this morning to pick out a box of mini donuts. The lady was super nice, I believe her name was Kaitlin. A friend bought us some gluten-free donuts trying to be considerate. These are the worst gluten-free donuts I?ve ever had. They were dried out and ridiculously expensive at that. Was it $6 per donut? And we had a half dozen. Absolute waste of money. Such a huge disappointment. The hubby tried the regular donuts and said that they were dried out or overcooked too. We were all disappointed. Can?t recommend it.

The only reason I would go back is for the regular donuts. The service was horrible, and the staff was inattentive, so much so that my daughter and I had to raise our voices louder than normal to get staff attention for a lid for my daughter's ice cream(their backs were to us). I love this place! I?ve been searching for a good donut place as I am from the east coast and am used to a certain Boston cream. The ones I have tried around here have been okay, and then I found this! My favorite Boston cream around and I tell everyone about it. They have huge donuts and different flavors. I stopped in to see if they have truly fantastical donuts, not just ordinary fantastic donuts. They are fantastically fantastic! I LOVE the mini donuts. 4 for the guilt of 1! Do not tip at this place when using debit/credit. Those tips are used directly by the owner and go towards paying the employees hourly wages. If you want to tip the employees, use cash.
