YLS Bakery & Cafe

My local friend has mentioned this spot over and over so I had to stop in this morning when I had a break between jobs. I tried their apple fritter and their Good Journey Cha Cha Horchata healthy donut. The healthy donut was very good for what it was. The apple fritter had a great crunch ratio as well as good flavor. I would recommend both items along with their nice black coffee.

YLS bakery has become my go to breakfast and lunch spot. Their freshly made bagels, as well as their freshly made donuts are delicious and savory! The staff is so friendly and welcoming! They always have new seasonal items which is fun to try out!

Absolutely loved this place so much we came twice while we were here! AMAZING gluten free donuts! The iced Aloha coffee was super yummy and not overly sweet. Our friend also ordered the ABC scrambler and it looked amazing and they did not skimp on the portion. We will definitely be back!

I come often and get various coffees, teas and bagel sandwiches. Lately my burritos have been coming without all the components (pics attached) and the coffees aren?t as well made as the recent past. Will keep coming but hope they can fix these small issues. Donuts are always perfect and bagels are delicious.

Much better ingredients and quality than an average donut shop as well as a wider selection. I was impressed with how many people were working, which made the line move quickly.

Absolutely love YLS! Staff is always kind and caring, and my food always comes out made to perfection. Will definitely keep coming back!

The white chocolate mocha was quite good, but I was less impressed with their iced hazelnut mocha. We also tried their chocolate chocolate chip muffin and apple fritter... both of which were mid.

This is one of my favorite local spots for espresso drinks. Their cappuccinos are my favorite, and I much rather go to YLS than to a large coffee chain. In addition to their espresso drinks, they have the best tiger tails. For sweet and savory, the jalape?o ham and cheese croissant is worth a try. Great breakfast spot for a quick bite and espresso drinks.

Been my breakfast spot for two days in a row. All the foods are delicious, especially the meat lover. But their hash brown is made in a weirdo shape.

I always get their sandwiches here, the pastrami is the best. They also offer breakfast sandwiches and donuts all of which are fantastic. Definitely recommend trying if you're in the area.

Disappointed. I got 3 pastries. The guava glaze donut which is super pretty and delicious, but a tad on the too sweet side. The guava danish was terrible. It tasted like it had been cross-contaminated with savory items, like maybe an everything bagel. It tasted sweet with an onion/garlic after taste. The maple bacon donut was dry and crumbly. I also got a nitro cold brew and it was okay.

Super disappointing service. When I was able to sit down and eat Breakfast the order was completely wrong. I wont be back and I will advise others of the same.

Ordered a breakfast burrito here today. It was on point. To start, it was huge so I saved half for later. To my surprise, despite being in my trunk for six hours on a hot day, it tasted delicious. Salsa was excellent and had a touch of heat. Staff were outstanding. Good stuff!

This is quite possibly the best donut shop in town. I don't think I've ever seen a better donut shop the way they've got to put together the staff the way they've got edible flowers on some of their donuts. There's just so many little idiosyncrasies. That makes this place so great.

In short, Fantastic early morning spot. Donuts, Croissants and other pastries. Breakfast Sandwiches and Burritos and of course, coffee. With a few more details, Love that this place opens at 6AM so many times when I am passing through this area that early I can swing by and get my morning grub. There's a reason this place is always bustling, their food is amazing!! We've been coming into YLS for a long time now and always have a great meal no matter what we order. Donuts are fluffy, flavorful and you can tell are made fresh with high quality ingredients. The new almond bear claw is DELICIOUS. My go to order is their TLC (Tomato, Lemon Pepper and Cream Cheese) on a bagel with Avocado and Bacon added. My boyfriend loves their Pastrami Sandwich on a French Roll with Pepperoncini added. LOVE love love this place! They have amazing donuts (and coffee and salads, which I've tried before but I usually get donuts for my sweet tooth ??). The customer service here is also great, the staff is always friendly :) They always have the CUTEST themed donuts, which is a huge reason I'll make a special drive out of my way for them. Definitely recommend!

After my first time here for lunch, I came back 3 more times within a 2 week span because it?s just so good! I?ve tried their bagel sandwiches, breakfast burrito, Asian chicken salad, lattes, and smoothies, and they?ve all tasted great. Portions are generous and prices are reasonable. Parking is super easy too which is a plus. The only downside is that they only have a few small tables outside so you might not be able to enjoy your food there!

A legit local spot where the staff, donuts were great.. Though the Cali brkft burrito could have a more flavor/seasoning, but other than that its a 10/10

I absolutely love this place. All of their food is top tier and the customer service is almost always on point. For how busy they normally are, they move the line extremely fast. I wish they?d bring the Asiago bagel back, but I haven?t seen it there in well over a year. But anyways, keep up the good work and I?ll be in again soon!

We loved everything we got for breakfast here! So delicious! My kids got donuts, they were fresh and a huge hit. The blueberry muffin was amazing! I got the California on a crossiant and added ham, it was so good!! My husband loved the ham+cheese+jalape?o crossiant and the jalape?o bagel sandwich he got! We are a family of 5, this was our first time here and the staff was so kind and patient as we all decided what we wanted and placed our order!

Great staff; very attentive, fast, and friendly with a positive attitude all the time. The bagels are on point and I highly recommend the scorned garlic if you like garlic. My go to options are the bagel sandwiches which are around 6 dollars, but are loaded with deliciousness. The donut selection is great and varied, with some specialty options frequently available and rotated. They also have staple coffee options as well as many types of smoothies to choose from. If you aren't in a rush, avoid the morning

I gave up Starbucks four this place. Many options. Breakfast burritos are very good and worth the money. My youngest likes their donuts, my oldest likes their bagels, then my sons love there menu. I just like having Oat or Soy milk with my coffee. Very friendly staff, they get the order wring they are first to apologize and make it right.

Can't wait to be back! I live 5 minutes away and had never been to YLS until this morning...I'm hooked! The orange bliss smoothie was refreshing, the chocolate chip bagel was delicious, and the breakfast burrito was perfect for my drive to work. This place used to be so good. But lately the bagels have been pretty bad. I'm hesitant to go back for bagels. Their espresso beans are fantastic though. Can't comment on the burritos or sandwiches. Edit: gave it another shot. They got rid of their very convenient app, and now you can only order off the website with one of those 3rd party ordering services. Whole place is going down hill.

I always seem to land the servers who act like they're being bothered to take my order, no matter how nice I am, but the coffee is one of my favorites. I love their apple fritters and their lox deluxe is my regular order. I love coming after my runs and while I wish the staff would be a little less irritated with me, I do think their food is worth it.

Food is not good and the service is very ?Yorba Linda?

This place says that they close at 2:00, I went there at 1:28 to get a bagel and they said they can?t do it! I hope the manager sees this message because whoever is working there doesn?t care about customers and about their profit! There were three other customers with me that were dismissed because everything was closed! I do really hope the manager says something!

Their bagels are delicious, really a step above most other bagel shops. I always get one of their breakfast sandwiches because they use fresh eggs and meats, not microwaved prepackaged stuff. They also have gourmet donuts, a small variety of other breakfast breads, and a variety of coffees and teas. It's about time that Yorba Linda finally has a great breakfast place that's not your typical run of the mill bagel shop.

They don?t accept phone orders because they likely hate older people. That?s tough because Yorba linda is filled with older people. Sorry but you lost my business because you are lazy. Every restaurant I have ever called takes phone orders. Businesses that have bad service also have bad food. No love in the game. It?s a shame.

Tasty bagels, iced coffee, salads, donuts, pastries and scrambles. Not much vegan except the bagels and the Asian salad without chicken. I liked the bagel i had though and the salad was full of greens and Mandarin oranges and almonds. Roommates had the egg bagel sanwich and seemed to like it. Quick and friendly service.

This place is okay, my wife likes it a lot. There are a couple other places next to it which I prefer. We usually go on a bike ride here for breakfast, she gets her's there and I go next door for a breakfast burrito. For seating, it outside on the sidewalk which is fine with us.

I?ll admit, A bit pricey but worth it. Lines are crazy long in mornings after church and they run out of stuff too quick. The food is also actually good from heated chocolate croissant to smoothie or coffee. My favorite is the egg white delight on a croissant.

I come here often, and what can I say, they are the best. I am a bagel enthusiast, and these are some of the best bagels I've ever had. The employees here are fantastic and are all very kind. I recommend the sourdough bagel.

Wasn't sure what I was getting into going in but the menu has tons of goodies and the pastries are all good! Theres tons of sandwiches to choose from and the pastrami gets my thumbs up ?? I always look for good pastrami and this place passes. The pricing is well done as you arent over paying for drinks or food. Definitely going back highly recommend this place

Hands down the best doughnuts and bagels around. They have more but I cannot go try it because I will just get doughnuts. Check out the seasonal doughnuts! Right now it's a guava glazed with an edible flower

Great selection of bagels, breakfast burritos, wraps, sandwiches, donuts, and pastries. Good coffee too. Friendly and quick service. Quaint breakfast spot in one of Yorba Linda's shopping centers. A great place to stop by before shopping at TJ's. Outdoor and indoor seating available.

Some of the new employees don't respect long time loyal customers .even if you tip. They have one that worship the devil with 666 on her arm.The new manager is rude and arrogant, I see pas her fake niceness

Amazing, I passed by the area and honestly some of the best coffee I've have had. Really clean place and their selection of Bagels is amazing it's a 40 min drive from my house but it worth going again. Great place to breakfast

I got the southwestern bagel sandwich on jalape?o bagel and a latte and my son got a chocolate muffin. Everything was absolutely delicious! Service was friendly and efficient. Definitely coming back here.

Me and my son were waiting in the express lane to get 3 donuts for couple of minutes! Then ?Janice? came and told us to go to the back of the line as the express lane is just for online pick up!!!! I told her this is for baked goods and she insisted that the line starts from the entry door, very rude!!!! Very disappointing to start a day!!

Great bakery fare like donuts, croissants, scones and danishes. Light breakfast available plus wide range of sandwiches, salad. Friendly staff in Cafe setting. Also outside tables make it dog friendly too!

I've driven by #YLSBakeryCafe a few times now and decided to give it a try. I am a fan of supporting local restaurants in town since they are few and far between and tend to close just as fast as they open. I really enjoyed experience here at YLS . This is a great lil cafe. It's more then a donut shop. Love the setting and atmosphere of the place. The donuts, bagel sandwiches, pastries, salads, lunch sandwiches, and smoothies are delicious. Everything are great at YLS!

I do like this place but there?s a VERY rude person at the counter! Didn?t offer even offer a bag for my items that I needed to bring to work and this isn?t the first time this happened. I?ve let it go a few times now but it?s getting ridiculous!
