We love Wow! Always so friendly and very creative! They made the most adorable donuts for our boys space themed birthday!
Not pictured: the spinach pastry I devoured. Super delicious and fluffy! First time at this donut shop?they were super sweet and gave us some extra treats. The themed donuts were silly and cute too!
I came in and asked for 3 sausage and cheese kolaches. The blonde girl behind the counter told me, with a straight face, " They all have sausage and cheese. " I said, "okay. Can I please have three sausage and cheese kolaches." She said, " which ones." Again, I repeated, " sausage and cheese." I got my order and when I got home they were just sausage. No cheese. I guess they all didn't have sausage and cheese, like her and her bad attitude told me.
Kolache was AWFUL!! Legitimately BAD. Stale bread. Wack. I asked "Y'all have Jalapeno and cheese kolaches?" and they said "Yes." I took one bite. *pause for dramatic effect* No cheese AND No jalapenos. Return to restaurant. "This doesn't have jalapenos and cheese" and they say "the Jalapenos and cheese are in the hot dog." Completely unnecessary misleading service for something so trivial! Regardless of their distasteful salesman tactics, the lack of Jalaps and Cheese might have still been a passable bre
Their donuts are pretty good, albeit expensive, but we went in today and we're pretty convinced that the kolache had a HOT DOG WEENIE for the sausage. Yuck! Won't be returning after that disappointment.

I used to get Shipleys and order Happy Birthday donuts. I decided to go with WOW Donuts and I am now never going anywhere but WOW from now on. My kids loved them. We loved them. The person behind the counter was sweet and thorough and went ABOVE & BEYOND and I?m forever appreciative. Worth every penny and we are a WOW family now.
Ordered two cream cheese bites and custard filled glazed donut. The cream cheese bites were stale and chewy, didn?t even finish one. The custard filled donut was cut in half like a sandwich, not sure why. This was my first to try something like that. It was not really good.
How can you go early on a Sunday morning and Not get fresh donuts. The kolaches were terrible. I took one nibble and tossed all three we bought. The simplest donuts were not fresh. In fact they were on the verge of stale. 30 dollars in donuts and the freshest thing was the chocolate milk.

The best little donut shop in all of Austin. The young woman who runs the shop there is more sweet than anything on the menu. I often grab donuts for the office after picking up mail at the UPS, she?ll frequently gift us extras. Please support this local small business!

Biggest rip off, $20 for dozen donuts they say it WOW mix donuts. They hardly had any selection and when I saw they had 10 of 12 were just small regular only 1 Apple fritter and 1 cinnamon rolls. You can pick the best pastries and donuts at Randall?s $7.99 for dozen and don?t have to leave any tip. On their price board they have $12.99. Just because in Westlake they rip people off.
Very tasty donuts! The dough is very well prepared and quite delicious so the simplest donuts actually taste better than all the ones wit the fancy glazings (although our kids do love the cookie monsters) Staff is very efficient too so even when there is a line it is processed rapidly
Save your time and money! Was so loud in here I couldn?t even think! Cashiers made you yell your order, not my vibe especially in the morning. Horrible atmosphere. The cashiers were rude. Disappointed that I even spent my money here.
Kolaches could be a little spicer but they?re good, I got some donut holes and they were nice and light but the glaze was a little flaky so it made a mess, staff was super friendly and plenty of parking and no long wait times, would go again
Arrived about 45 minutes before they closed. Decent selection, obviously not tons of options, but I definitely was able to get what I came for. The donuts are good, light and fluffy, not cakey, so depending on how you like your donuts you may or may not prefer them. The cashier was extremely friendly, and considering that they were closing soon, she gave me their last bag of donut holes on the house. I'm totally satisfied with everything I got there, and would definitely repeat visit
The homemade burrito used to be one of my favorite items, but I think they changed the recipe. Still love the spicy, sausage croissant! Good selection of drinks, and friendly service :)
Donuts have been a journey for me. Every where I go I have been looking for great donuts. Most of the time I am disappointed, not with wow donuts. Exceptional donuts. Pretty yummy coffee too
Best donuts in town and I consider myself major donut person. I?ve tried several of the other popular donut locations in town and these are still the best. Do yourself a favor and try the blueberry donut holes.
Awesome fluffy donut holes! Not the cheapest donuts, but definitely worth the extra few cents. Besides, a large coffee for $2 ain't bad. Seriously good pastries and great service.
Cute and small neighborhood donut shop. A pretty good selection of donuts - mostly sweet but savory kolachies too. Prone to long lines, so plan well although the lines move fast. Friendly staff! Visit for sure!
Donuts are decent, though I am not a donut person. Friendly staff. Do not buy kolaches from here if you take your kolaches as seriously as I do. A miss on both the bread and the sausage (especially the sausage).

Light and airy donuts, not those heavy, cakey abominations they call donuts at Dunkin Donuts. They also offer kolaches and other breakfast pastry type items. They typically throw in a bunch of donut holes with most orders for free. Good people. Glad this place is here in West Lake Hills.
First timer, being that I'm from Corpus. They were super nice & gave my daughter donut holes for free. I tried them omgosh AMAZING & melt in your mouth! Whenever I come back to visit, I will defintely make a stop!
They are friendly but the search for a good apple fritter does not end here. They really should call it a cinnamon fritter, no apples to be found. Kolaches are supposed to be sweet bread, wrapped around savory meats..., theirs have no flavor and are expensive.
I have been going to this Howdy Doughnuts for about 5 years. I have lived in Westlake 10 years. I bought 2 dozen mixed doughnuts for my office. I'm not sure if it was because it was Monday but the doughnuts were STALE and everyone agreed as they are usually not bad. I went by the next morning and they were very cavalier about it. I would suggest another doughnut shop, but if its an inconvenience, avoid Monday or request FRESH doughnuts.
Both donuts and kolaches are good here. The burritos are good too! But I keep coming back because these are the nicest people around. Always friendly.
I have probably eaten every donut in town. Round Rock, Mrs. Johnson's, Shipley's, KK, DD, Ken's - all of them. Nothing even close to the product being made at Howdy/ These are HANDS DOWN the best. A true cake style. Not over sized or over sweetened. The people working there are delightful. Try them all, also be sure to get some filled as they will squirt it in on the spot. Probably my only complaint would be the limited hours, it would be a great late night spot, but given the area its not surprising . An o

I had the softest donut at this location. I was pleasantly surprised since I came in at around noon. They also added a few donut holes in my order.
This place is horrible. Rude owners, smells like cleaning supplies and they charge you a service fee for using a debit or credit card. When they got my order wrong they would not fix it. I ordered custard filled donuts and they filled them with lemon filling. When I asked them to fix it, I was told that next time they would get it right but I had to take what they gave me. I will never return.
How does a donut place continually not have donuts to sell? It's their business; it's what they do. And yet, 3-4 times a month they don't have donuts. Makes it difficult to drive to a donut place with the hope they have the product for which they are named.
