Wilson?s Bakery used to be the ?premier? bakery of Warner Robins. Now, they are little crummy.Their portion sizes are ridiculously small and priced high . Quite frankly, they are disappointing.! They now sell half a slice of cake for the same price as what was formerly a whole slice of cake. They appear to take one slice and cut it in half to make two. The slice looks half eaten. It takes two ?so called? slices to make one decent slice of cake. I will not purchase again in the future. Most of what the
Everything is delicious at Wilson's! There are so many options in donuts, cakes, cupcakes, cookies, and pastries!
I stopped by to find two beautiful carrot cupcakes in the display and chose to take them off their hands. They were prettier than they tasted. It was around 3:00 p.m. and the staff was ready to leave. The cupcakes were so dry I ended up throwing the second one away. I'll never go back. All they had were cookies and a few cupcakes anyway.
Wow, this place has super tasty bakery items! The donuts were delicious and they had cannolis as well. It smelled so good as soon as I walked in. Definitely worth stopping here.
Cute bakery. I got put on to this place by treats brought into work. And I've been hooked since. They open super early in the morning. Easy location to find with ample parking. They have a wide variety of sweets to choose from. I am never disappointed. I love the petit fours. They're delicious!!! I've tried their cookies before too. Would definitely recommend! Bonus - they have doggie treats too and some drinks.
Everyone was so nice and quick when I called about a cake. If youbare going yo reserve a cake, there is a 48 hour timeframe required, and they did give me a pickup courtesy call. The German chocolate was delicious. They wrote the name on the cake too. When we went to go pick up the cake, we bought a couple more things (all of which were great). Everyone who worked there was so nice and helpful. I would definitely use them again.
Not impressed. I've never understood what all the hype is about this place. I've tried it on and off the last few years and have never been blown away by ANYTHING at this bakery. I've actually regretted each purchase because of how lackluster the food is. Everything is just standard and basic tasting. Nothing unique or exciting, just standard baked goods with no heart or soul. I'll stick to my neighborhood Publix for amazing baked goods and flavors. And Atl for macarons, cupcakes, and other great gourmet ba
When you walk in the door, you are hit with a smell, and everything they make tastes like that smell. Honestly: Every item we purchased including cupcakes, cakes slices, and cookies tasted the same -- like a coconutty-oil flavor. To me it was similar to that artifical palm oil butter they put on popcorn at movie theaters, and not in a good way. We spent over $30 dollars and threw everything away. Gross.
I absolutely loved the stuff here they were very nice and welcoming!! They made this amazing cake for my mom?s birthday!! Her theme was old school and they ate down ?? shout out to the girl who made my cake and the man who help put it together. My family absolutely loved this cake. Will be back !
I came in yesterday and the staff were so patient and nice! They answered all my questions and told me about all of the stuff they offered in great detail. The blueberry muffin was the best muffin I?ve ever had!!! We also got a bag full of great stuff for a steal in my opinion
I was looked over 3 times while standing at the glass. A gentleman asked me if I had been helped and I said no. He stood there for a second or two then walked away. A lady walked over and said who's next and before I can say anything someone else was being helped. Another lady walked up and asked who's next and she just looked at the woman standing behind me. I was standing at the glass and not necessarily in line looking at doughnuts each time so, I kind of felt like it was obvious I was waiting to be
Wilson's bakery used to be the best shop in town but now they seem like they have gotten comfortable in their complacency. For donuts explicitly they are very overpriced. We used to not mind the price as the donuts were fresh and tasted great. Recently this has not been the case as it feels like the donuts are a day or two old. Seems like since there is competition they are no longer able to remain completive. We will not be back but I hope they can improve as they were once a staple for us.
This is a small family owned bakery that has been around for as long as I can remember! Yes, Wilson?s made it on the Christmas table again this year (20th year). Because Wilson?s is located on the opposite side of town from me we don?t go often. However, we go every year for my son?s birthday (we have since he was born and he is 13 now) and all the Holidays without fail. Although we started my son with birthday cakes he now just wants 2 dozen finger nut cookies for his special day. For Christmas we alway
love the selections!!! always baked to perfection!!! would definitely recommend to anyone. tiger tails are really good!!!! always nice people there and they work really hard to give you a great experience!!!
This is my favorite bakery in middle Georgia. I have been enjoying their delicious treats since my mother took me there as a small child. They have a wide variety of sweets to choose from. I am never disappointed. Try the finger nut cookies! They are my favorite.
The absolute best bakery I?ve ever experienced! All of items are made fresh and have a taste like no other! My personal faves are the cinnamon rolls and sugar cookies! I highly recommend this establishment!
As a Warner Robins local, this town doesn?t have much in the way of truly great eateries. But Wilson?s Bakery is an exception. Having traveled all over, I will always come home to Warner Robins for this outstanding bakery. It is that good. This place can compete with the best of them. The signature fingernut cookies and delicious petit four cakes are wonderful, but the real star of the show here is the flower cookies - delicate little sugar cookies topped with simple frosting flowers. If you don?t see the f
This is my first time time going into Wilson's Bakery and I must say it was a pleasant experience. My customers has raved about the bake goods and puppy cakes and I decided to give it a try for my grandson's first birthday. Let's just say I am truly impressed and they have a new regular customer.
I like the cream cheese danishes from here. I promise they only make 2 a day, and this day was my lucky day. I would have given 5 star if they had another treat that I like, but they're always out of them. Or, maybe I should get their earlier, closer to their opening time.
Made my family sick everything tasted same too high price I from Atlanta I know quality food
I had a glazed doughnut 2 decor cookies and 2 doz finger nut cookies the doughnut was delicious reminded me of Krispy Kreme 10/10 texture an taste perfect the finger nut are my personal fav I can not get enough of they accept all forms of payment no EBT payment accepted but I definitely recommend trying this place
Cupcakes were dry. Not a big selection. Wanted pies but only sell during holidays according to clerk.
If I could give 10 stars, I would!!! I called and ordered a very specific birthday cake. The person on the phone was incredibly kind and efficient. The cake was ready for pick up when I got there. When I say that it was perfect, it's an understatement! It was exactly what I had pictured!! The employees were so nice and helpful. But then, we cut and ate the cake. AMAZING!! So very delicious, moist, just wonderful!! I will be getting all my cakes from here!!! Thank you, Wilson's Bakery!!!
I mean I just had one chocolate chunk/chip cookie but that cookie tasted homemade. It was delectable. Really cheered me up some. I would by 6 to eat by myself, no share. They were expertly baked. My daughter had free yellow iced cookie from the books she read. She also enjoyed her cookie.
Update*** Prices are still out of sight. I came back because I needed a tiny little cake for someone. I then chose a Creme horn for myself. Got home and tried it but it was so hard I couldn't bite into it. I called the bakery to let them know and they said that's just the way they come. That if I want it softer then I needed to put it in a plastic bag for a day or two and it would be softer and easier to eat. They don't make them at Wilson's. ?? 3 Yrs ago ?? Prices are exorbitant for what you are gettin
Always have a great selection to choose from. Everything is always fresh, they even have dog treats! The Flower Cookies are amazing but the Finger Nut Cookies and Cake Squares are my families favorite. Cakes are perfect for any occasion. Love this bakery!
Come to Warner Robbins with a friend who grew up here, and she insisted I had to go to Wilson?s before we left town! It was such a neat little place and the cookies I got were all delicious! I would not hesitate to go back by if I were in the area again!
As you enter the bakery it smells like rancid oil the prices are high for the pastries and exorbitant for the drinks a 20 oz water for $2.50 when I questioned the price the sales clerk assured me that the price was standard even in Walmart I did some research and the coffee shop at the hospital next door to it sales the same water for $1.89 ??
Thank You ! Y?all make the best Cakes , yummy goodies ! Been coming here since a kid and now my Daughter comes here too ! She got me the delicious Mother?s Day cake !
The best doughnuts you can get thesedays. Over 25 years I've been eating them . The cheese straws are OMG good ! Today was the first time I remember getting them , OFF THE CHAIN GREAT. !!!! Bought 2 dozen , wasn't enough I just eat a whole dozen by myself .....
Best Donuts in Warner Robins by far. Their fingernut cookies are incredible. Cannot wait to order a cake from them.
Great doughnuts, I just hate they give out so early in the day.
The finger nut cookies which I call ?lady fingers? have been my favorite since I was a child. I?m 30 now and still have to pick up a dozen (or two haha) when I?m visiting home. This bakery smells heavenly, and the staff is also super friendly. Love this place!
Wilson Bakery is my favorite bakery. The staff are very friendly. Sometimes go for a coffee and the cookies for my son. Keep up the good work Wilson Bakery!
Everything we got so was yummy! Highly recommend the fingernut cookie and the coconut macaroon ????
Tried their red velvet doughnut today and it was divine! I also bought other items and I do not have anything negative to say ??
Our office birthday parties always orders Wilson cake. Which was our favorite, until today we cut the cake to find one layer or cake and barely any icing. The old cakes use to consist of more than one layer and plenty of icing. I?m not sure why they are selling single layer cakes but it was definitely disappointing for my coworkers birthday when she cut her cake!!! If that?s something you?re okay with then this review will not suit you.
UPDATE** Having been gone from Georgia for some time, I recently returned home on a visit. I drove down Watson Blvd and when I saw the bakery, I had to pull in. One taste of the finger nut cookies brought back a lifetime full of memories of growing up in Warner Robins. Yeah- they may be a little pricey, but what are you willing to pay for perfection and a walk down memory lane? The Finger Nut cookies have kept me coming back to Wilson's Bakery over the years.. the really high price of their goodies keep
I have been purchasing cookies, specifically the flower and nut cookies, for over 50 years. I no longer live in the area but make it a point to go by every time I'm in town. I must say my last visit June 19th left me very disappointed. The price is really unreasonable now and the recipe for the flower cookies has changed, I assume so they're cheaper to make. My trips to Warner Robins will no longer include a stop to Wilson's Bakery for the first time in 50 years.
Wilson's Bakery always has fresh doughnuts, glazed croissants and the best apple fritters. The cookies, cakes and petit fours are delicious as well. I choose them over the local chains any day.
On my first visit to Warner Robins, my family insisted I try Wilson's fingernut cookies. The cookies are indeed wonderful and worth the trip. I've never tasted anything like them. Even as I write this, I'm analyzing how they are made so I can try to duplicate the deliciousness when I return to my home far away. My only suggestion is that their pre-packaged boxes of fingernut cookies have more variety of colors in them. When my niece asked for a hand-packed custom assortment, the lady serving us grumbled a
Very nice people, very fresh and great food??..
Absolutely delicious! The glazed is pillow soft and vanilla; the eclair, the croissant and apple fritter are all exceptional! Just passing through but will be back when can!
I purchased a 1/4 sheet birthday cake with a photo on it for my son sweet 16th birthday party. It was beautiful. Cake was so moist and delicious. I will definitely make another purchase. Highly recommend ??
My wife ordered a cake from here for my 50th birthday. I wish she had not The carrot cake had creme frosting instead of the cream cheese frosting she asked for it to have. The bottom layer was some sort of heavy/hard bunt type cake with blueberry filling in the center. The cake looked good but flavor didn't match. There was plenty of cake left over.
Everything I have tried has been excellent! The staff is very friendly and efficient. The ONLY issue I have had is that they have been out of donut holes the last few times, but that isn't there fault I should be getting there earlier. It just goes to show how great their donut holes are!
If you are looking for authentic, old fashioned, and tasty baked goods... there is nothing on earth like Wilson's. The doughnut are as light as air and taste amazing. They put any other doughnut to shame. I especially enjoy the twists. My son is a huge fan of the sugar cookies as well.
I've been going here since it was Nygaard's back in the 60's. Although it's changed owners, it still uses the same recipe...good products, good prices, and good people. The donuts are as good as they get. BUT...the finger cookies are incredible. Just stop and try a bag. But you better get two. You're going to eat one on the way home. Their wedding cookies and donuts are very, very good as well
Wilson Customer Service sucks! My mother placed an order two week ago-she is a Senior Citizen. She was told she had to pay up front for 3 dozen. She was not told it had to be paid by Saturday the December 17th. I called to get clarity and take care of the order; and the Customer Service rep found her name in the system---and refused to take the payment. I explained that my mother was a skeptic in releasing her credit card over the phone, but I wanted to take care of the order that was placed two weeks ago
First, the good news. Wilson's Bakery has been producing quality baked goods for 70 years. The bad news is they have drastically cut the size of their products while simultaneously raising prices to ridiculous levels. Then, to add insult to injury, the third generation that's being groomed to take over, has an inordinately bad and disrespectful attitude towards their paying customers. Wendy needs to teach them 1) knowledge of their products lines, 2) that a half dozen is six, not twelve and 3) manners. Usua
I have always had a great experience and love the treats. But today I noticed someone was coughing a lot and the older lady that got my doughnuts went to the register to check me out, laid her glove on the counter and put it back on to go help the next customer. I threw my doughnuts away. What good is gloves if you touch everything with them?
Ordered a themed cake for our baby shower a week ago. I arrive to pick it up, and even though there's a line all the way to the door, the wonderful staff at Wilson's got to me within five minutes. Delicious cake, friendly staff. I'm only in town for the weekend, but next time I visit, these folks will be getting business from me.
Every time I come home to visit my family, I have to get an order of finger cookies and flower cookies. I typically get some to enjoy while in GA and another order to take home. You haven?t truly lived unless you?ve had those finger cookies. If you only get food at one place in Warner Robins- this should be the place.
First time ever writing a review for a business. I called at 7 am to check about having 24 small cakes special made for pickup the following day by close of business and was told they needed two days notice and they wouldn't be able to do it (I guess calling first thing in the morning and allowing two full business days and picking up at the end of the 2nd business day isn't considered two days). It was just having a single letter of the word "Happy Birthday" individually put on them instead of their norm
So disappointed with this place now, I really believe that it has changed owners and there's a new baker. I would drive from Atlanta to Warner Robin's with my kids frequently to load up on treats and I would buy a sheet cake for no good reason, just because they were delicious. The last three times that I have made the drive there wasn't anything in the cases and mind you this was still pretty early in the morning, there wasn't any doughnuts, doughnut holes, or my favorite the maple Danish, plus customer se
I grew up with Wilson's. They made all our birthdays growing up amazing, and every time I eat their finger cookies and iced flower cookies, I'm instantly transported back to my happiest childhood memories. Thank you for those memories, Wilson's!! Always the best!
The compassion that each and every one of these associates demonstrate is unmatched in many of today's businesses. This is what gives them their edge. I understand it was a busy week for orders and when a mistake was made on our order for my son's birthday, they truly went above and beyond to correct it. That's not what blew me away though: the eagerness to make sure my son was not disappointed spoke volumes for how much they care about their profession and their customers. If only this same level of care f
Very poor service and rude staff plus everything tastes the same, but my friend really wanted to try a cake from them for herself. So for her daughters birthday she went in to order, the staff was rude and acted like she really didn?t want to help her..then told her she couldn?t do the cake she wanted because what she wanted on her cake ?would look bad,? it was a Disney picture! So my friend went to Publix Bakery, they did a beautiful job and it was delicious!
Amazing cookies. Cake leaves alot to be desired. Ordered one for a birthday party, it looked great, everyone at the party had the same complaint: it was dry. Staff is hit or miss. Sometimes really nice, other times can be pretty rude. Overall, I will still go buy their cookies that I love. Publix can keep my cake business.
The donuts are good but a lady was playing with her nose she did it in front of us and use hand sanitizer instead of washing her hands I was sick I work in a deli and I always teach my employees good hygiene if u touch your hair your face anything go wash your hands and put on gloves!!!!
Wilson?s Bakery is the best bakery anywhere, by far! A couple of Saturdays ago, my friend and I decided it would be worth a trip from north Macon, so we checked the website for the hours to make sure we got there before they closed. The site says the bakery is open until 3pm. We left downtown Macon at 2pm thinking we had plenty of time to spare. Why we arrived, we saw that it was closed - the store hours posted on the door said they closed at 2. We were so disappointed! We made that trip specifically
Best bakery around ! I come from a small town so believe when I say they are good. The staff is always friendly and never make you feel rushed when you are making your selection. Even if the store is full they very politely Answer any questions you may have. Now the part your really reading this review for ?THe FOOD?! Wilson?s has a huge variety of pastries, cookies and cakes to choose from. I highly recommend the apple fritters, they are soooo good. Wilson?s is know for having the best finger nut cooki
First of all Wilson has some tasty treats, but the icing on the cake squares is to, to sweet. I have to peel it off the sides in order to eat them. The Gingerbread men needs more ginger.
Now this is a place for those who enjoy good pastries and can't resist the heavenly taste of sweet treats. Wilson's Bakery has a variety of pastries to enjoy any time of the day. My weakness is anything that goes good with a cup of coffee.
The Best Bakery around. My son loves the iced cookies. The finger nut cookies, petit fours, donuts and coconut macaroons are wonderful. The coconut cake is delicious. I got my son's birthday cake there. It was so delicious that none was left. Wilson's did a great job decorating. Love Wilson's!!
I think they're under new management who uses new recipes, and now some items are hit and miss. In addition, I think they sell old cake slices. Recently, I purchased 3 cake slices and the strawberry cake slice was sour/spoil tasting as if they might have used real fresh strawberries with a very limited shelf life in the cake. If this is the case, when a strawberry cake doesn't sell in a day, it needs to be tossed in the trash and NOT cut into slices and SOLD. Also, the new cream cheese icing used is a
Years of experience making delicious treats!!
If you want to sell stale cookies, then they should be discounted and advertised as such. I payed full price for a dozen stale flower cookies. This is the same reason I stopped going to this bakery during the early-mid 2000s. Well, the stale cookies have returned and I most definitely will not. Thanks for the nasty cookies.
It smelled heavenly. I stopped in to get cake squares for my son's birthday. Sadly I cannot eat anything that they sell. I wish you would offer some keto friendly or low carb options for people with dietary restrictions.
The food is good but today I visited the bakery and there was a fly in the glass case that is supposed to conceal the pastries. The fly touched almost every donut and the cashier did nothing to remove it. She then left the tarnished goods in the case. They are also frequently out of multiple items.
We've been looking for a bakery like we use to have and finally found it. We sampled several things. The best we're the: Petit Fours Fingernut cookies and the absolute best was the Pecan cinnamon roll. The only thing we tried we didn't like was the red velvet donut; it tasted a bit stale. But that's not going to stop us from driving the distance for a return trip.
Posting for a friend this happened to today.... What business treats their customers this way? (Copy and Paste) : So I go to Wilson's Bakery-Home of the famous Fingernut Cookies to surprise a friend with some fingernut cookies. I go by at 2:30. Mind you I checked their hours first prior to going and said it was open till 3:00. I drive to the front and it looks closed and I see people in there. I call them to see and I see them ignore the phone call. The voicemail even said they were open till 3:00 on Saturd
Of the options in Warner robins, this is easily number one. Service is great. Get there early for more options. The maple doughnuts are the best Maple doughnuts that I've ever had. The custard filled has a great smooth not cloyingly sweet custard and they do not skimp on the filling (almost all of the time). The filled doughnuts are a little more expensive than they should be, but what are you going to do? Certainly worth going. Kids love the beautiful case filled with pastry, cookies, cupcakes, and fresh br
On Tuesday, July 20th, 2021, I was excited to visit Wilson's Bakery with my husband. As a child visiting the bakery with my father whom was stationed at Robins, AFB I wanted my husband to experience the same delightful nostalgia from my childhood. However, to my dismay the warm inviting feelings I felt as a child was gone. My husband and I addressed the associate with kindness when she finally decided to stop vacuuming and approached the counter stood there with not addressing us back and in a hateful t
My three year old son was in heaven when he saw the sweets in the display. Never had a bad experience at Wilson's Bakery. We enjoy taking our out of town family when they visit.
I've been getting my childrens birthday cakes and cupcakes from wilsons for over 17 years now my children are adults now but I still get each of them a cake from wilsons they love all the delicious treats .
Not a fan. Ive heard so many ppl brag about this place. So i stopped in. Got a variety of things and ultimately only enjoyed the prewrapped candy sticks and cinnamon twist. Everything else tasted stale. Like it very nostalgic ingredients were used. from the cupcakes to cookies and even the brownies. I asked my kids to try it and they couldn't stomach it. it went in the trash. Waste of money. Kudos to those who do enjoy. Ive tasted better out of a gas station
The best glazed donuts in the world! I'm serious. I've traveled via AF, civilian & contractor & have tried donuts in a lot of places, only to find that my home town has the best glazed donuts anywhere!
I absolutely can't believe how good the doughnut holes are at this bakery! They are so good that they almost melt in your mouth. I have been in when the doughnut holes are sold out on many occasions. The cronuts (glazed croissants) are so good too! The staff is friendly and helpful!
This place has very good sweets. My favorite thing here is the sugar cookies. They have a variety of cakes you can choose from and you can also order a custom one. This place also takes Apple Pay so if you forget your card you can pay with your phone/watch.
Been a proud customer since I was in middle school. I do not live in town anymore, but anytime I come on a weekday in, Wilson's Bakery is a MUST stop! I'm addicted to their frosted cookies, their donuts are yum, and you cannot go wrong with ordering cakes from them! A forever customer.
Glazed croissants literally have got to be the greatest creation of donut history. All my worries melt away in one bite. They are gone by 7am! It's worth it.
Best Bakery in Middle Georgia. Their famous Fingerhut cookies are delicious as are the petite fours, brownies & iced cookies. My brother's favorite is their glazed doughnuts. I try to make a visit at least every couple of years when I'm visiting from California.
They have rats- like actual rats in the bakery & most product, like the flower cookies come in frozen sad excuse for a bakery. The product they do bake is never consistent. You would get better quality and prices at Walmart.
Wilson's Bakery has long served the Warner Robins community. Locally owned and managed by a wonderful family, this bakery has some if the best baked goods you will find anywhere. From their famous fingernut cookies to their cakes, this bakery needs to be your number one stop.
Very much a let down. I ordered a cake from them last week. Looks nothing like we agreed on. Waste of money considering it's still sitting in my garage fridge untouched. I wish I knew how to add the pictures. I can't believe they messed the cake up as bad as they did.
Every thing tastes the same horrible service, wrong items, manager was the person waiting on us. Very abrupt and rude. Stopped waiting on us after we waited in line 15+ minutes to help her friend who just walked in - told us to get items off the table (12 count) we only wanted 1 of each item.. Cookies. Cupcskes all taste like not very good donuts
Just like most of Warner Robins, I love Wilson's Bakery. There seems to be several negative reviews about their specialty cake orders. I've not experienced any problems with their service, although I should mention that all my purchases have been from the display case.
