Whoo's Donuts Pizza and Brew

Whoo's is now getting to the pizza business. We had the pleasure of trying out their new pie during the soft opening and can't speak highly enough. The husband and wife team are super nice and fantastically dedicated to this new expanded offering. The sourdough recipe base is a family sourdough starter and has gone through meticulous efforts to achieve perfection. Everyone in Santa Fe knows of their delicious, unique donuts. I'm writing about the pizzas, a new offering. We have already tried the two dough types: blue corn sourdough and sourdough. The pizza is delicious. We are picky about pizza and that's why we usually make it at home. This is the first pizza that doesn't give me indigestion. This is a great establishment!. The food,beer, and, pizza are wonderful. This is the first place that I've ever tried that had a purple Pizza. It was done perfectly in my eyes. Crunchy and flavorful! The dough is fermented wonderfully! Don't take my word for it ......you NEED to try this pizza and the legendary doughnuts !!!

Friendly service. The doughnuts and coffee are delicious. This is the go-to doughnut place in Santa Fe. They also offer other food, but we only had doughnuts.

Amazing! I learned they recently started serving pizzas, and I had to try. Their pizza was stellar. The sour dough crust was perfection. The owner was SO nice, and even chatted with us to pick a vinyl to play on the record player. So happy to have another place to add to the restaurant rotation :).

Whoo?s Donuts is one-of-a-kind of amazing! Our top favorite donut is the Blue Corn Blueberry Lavender that?s more like hot cornbread bursting with flavor, texture and color than either a raised or cake donut. The Croissant Donut is flakin? amazin? in texture and cinnamon/sugar dipped flavor. Hard to-find but conveniently located on the East side of Cerrillos, south of Sage Motel and Whole Foods. The pastries were so good that we came back a second time while we were in town for a week. We ate the blue corn donuts and chili fritters. This is a little locally owned and operated place and the owner served us. It has great music because the owner loves vinyl records and he played at our request one of our favorites artists, Paul Simon.

I'm my opinion kinda meh, I was expecting better tasting donuts for the price. There all very dense/dry donuts not very fluffy frosting tastes cheap. Their famous lavender blue corn blueberry donut was ok kinda dry and nothing mind blowing as other reviews make it seem. If you do go here the Cinnimom croissant donut is good. Spent $17 on 4 donuts

We stopped in just before hitting the farmers market and were so glad we did! The donuts are excellent, the music was great (and played from a turntable), and the owner is really interesting to chat with. All the donuts look great, though the Blue-corn Blueberry Lavender donut & the Green Chile Apple Fritter are fantastic. Make this spot as ?must try? while in Santa Fe. ??

We stopped in for donuts and got swindled into pizza and it was incredible. We got the Ladybug Margherita and the Santa Fean to try both the crust options and they were great. They?re very unique pizzas in the best way possible. Also get some donuts!

We got four different donuts here and they were just okay. Nothing spectacular and a bit out of the way from downtown Santa Fe. Blueberry lavender blue corn cake donut was the best one we had.

Love this place. Donuts are at once wholesome and delicious! Friendly owners and service. We stop at as many donut shops as we can as we travel by van throughout the southwest. This is our favorite and we always make it a point to stop here. Great coffee drinks too!!

This is a review of the new pizza offering from Whoos. FINALLY, a pizza joint in Santa Fe that is just as amazing as the best restaurants in town! Both the classic sourdough crust and the blue corn sourdough crust are among the best we have ever tasted. Right up there with Za's in San Francisco (IYKYK). The Norte?o specialty pizza is incredible. Highly recommended. We didn't think one 12" pizza would be enough, so we got two. The employee acted annoyed to help us. Also the donuts we tried were good, but nothing special. Most of the unique flavors we picked needed a LOT more flavor, they all tasted similar and nothing stood out. Also very expensive donuts. More than Pinkbox and Pinkbox is WAY better. The shop itself needed some mild cleaning.

Honestly, I'd rather go to Craft Donut. The lavender latte was horrible. The donuts are okay but not worth their expensive price. Craft is fresh and much lower in price ??

Very tasty treats, unique flavors. I would return for some i did really like. Maybe not so late in the day. They've got nothing on the fresh made to order no matter the time you go to Craft Donuts off Zafarano.

Some wild flavor options AND they're wildly delicious! White Choco lemon, blue corn blueberry lavender, blue corn maple pecan, flaky croissant donut, pumpkin cream filled, and dark choco chunk were the ones we got and THEY ALL SLAP! The cream is out of this world too. Fantastic service and plenty of seating to snack, and the coffee hits the spot. Check this place out!

Love the doughnut, we got an assortment of them and all of them were lovely , the only thing I fill bad about I had few bites of their everything bagel doughnuts and handed it of to my husband and was surprised when I ran inside to tell the owner their polenta doughnut is the best thing I have had in a long time and also asking if they would add schemer filling to everything bagel one but apparently they did but I didn?t got that far in the doughnut so from now on I have 2 ultimate favorites here and it?s t

My absolute favorite donut was the blue corn blueberry lavender. It was so moist, had a lovely corn texture, and great icing. We also tried the chocolate glazed, lemon pistachio and vanilla. Everything was great but the blue corn was the winner. Super nice guys working the counter too! Cannot wait to try my flavors!

Great little place! I asked what the specialty was and was directed to the blue corn with blueberry glaze. It was really good but unusual. There was a hint of a tortilla flavor which I loved! I also got a chocolate donut with chile bacon. Also delish!

We came for the blue corn lavender donut, but we left with the blue corn maple pecan (and the other one don?t you worry). My husband and I don?t eat donuts & we are sort of way too crazy about health & fitness - BUT these donuts are worth it. In our humble opinion- there are no donuts that compare flavor-wise. We enjoyed our visit to Whoos. The blue corn blueberry lavender and white chocolate lemon pistachio were our favorites! The dining area is not very big so if they are busy, you may not be able to eat in there. I did notice a park across the street though that might be a good alternative. Overall, we would come back here next time we are in Santa Fe.

Excellent, fresh, fluffy donuts. Visiting from OKC and it was definitely worth the stop on our way back in the morning. Wide variety with unique combinations. We had the chai raised glazed, orange cardamom cream, mixed berry jam and the classic Boston cream.

Whoo?s Donuts is a fun place with a great atmosphere. The staff is very friendly and the service is good. They serve unique donuts that taste great even though their appearance may be a bit deceiving. All in all, I would definitely come here again !

I'm always on a mission to find the best hipster donut shop in any city I'm visiting. Santa Fe is home to Whoo's Donuts, which offers a great mix of traditional donuts with the mandatory "let's-combine-too-many- ingredients" variety to make sure they seem cool. The cake variety were amazing, with a nice combination of crunch and cakiness. The raised donuts were a bit too dense for my liking. But overall, worth the walk.

Picked up a blue cornmeal lavender doughnut at the FM and can?t stop dreaming about moving to SF. I bought on 3-4 years ago and never forgot why.

these donuts are incredible. i absolutely loved the blue corn donuts. the texture takes them to the next level. all of their flavors are inventive. we walked out with a box of six donuts for the two of us because we couldn't help ourselves. so glad we found this place!

Wonderful fresh donuts! Their Blue Corn Blueberry Lavender donut is on the July 2023 Forbes list of the top 12 donuts. They didn't have this one when we stopped in, but I had the Dark Chocolate Crunch and it was delicious! I love the fresh crispy edge.

After reading all the positive reviews, I decided to stop in this morning to try a couple of their signature donuts (bluecorn blueberry lavender and choco chile bacon). Both donuts were stale and somewhat flavorless. The bluecorn just tasted like a plain cake donut and the chili bacon flavor was missing altogether from the chocolate donut. Terribly disappointed. Maybe they would have tasted better if they were fresh? Or maybe I was just there on a bad day? Who knows. But, overall, the two donuts I got were

The brioche donuts were the best we had the Mexican chocolate which was divine and the Boston cream. We also had the pecan & blueberry lavender blue corn donuts. They were good but a little dry because of the corn meal. Still enjoyed them they reminded me of sweet corn bread.

Usually I LOVE these donuts and everything about them but went there the other morning 2 weeks ago on a Saturday to take someone that has never been there after telling them how great these donuts were the display was empty the girl there was not welcoming or friendly at all the donuts we were served the blue corn lavender were so crusty it was like they had been out for days I was very disappointed also the person took ordered an other type all were dry and nor good as usual at all!! The cake donuts are on par with some of the best donuts I've ever had, in unusual flavors. The yeast and filled doughnuts, on the other hand, are flavorless and sad.

The donuts were good but nothing special, they were more of a savory than a sweet treat.

A joy to try out some inventive donuts here. Ordered the blue corn blueberry lavender, mixed berry filled, and a chile apple fritter. My personal favorite was the mixed berry filled. The chile apple fritter was really fun - some mild red pepper powder on top, and actual green chile in the middle area. I encourage the donutmaster to keep experimenting and bringing cool new ideas! ??

We visited Whoo's on June 13, 2024 at 9:12 am. The shop was small and did not have the selection advertised on its website. The donuts were dry, disappointing and overpriced($13.32 for 3 donuts). The apple fritter was the worst that I've ever sampled.

Always loved Whoo?s donuts for their unique flavor combinations, but lately they have not been good. The lemon pistachio donuts were always my favorite but now the icing is different, thin with only a hint of lemon and skimpy on the pistachios. The blue corn lavender donuts were also very good however, I had one today and could not even finish it. Had a horrible bitter taste so I tried a different flavor which also tasted terrible. Really unique flavors! I asked for some suggestions and was told the lavender blue corn tortilla was the most popular so of course I had to get that. I also got a pistachio lemon white chocolate one. Both were tasty although a bit on the sweet side, and two donuts for $5.31 including tax is definitely high. Friendly person working there though and I do appreciate the interesting flavors!

Hit or miss. The mixed berry jam donut was excellent, the Americano was strong and delicious. However, the green chile apple fritter was shockingly light on the advertised ingredients - barely any apples or green chile included. Just tasted like a plain old fritter. For four bucks? Ouch.

First and foremost the donuts were delicious - every flavor I tried was excellent! However, more importantly, the staff was amazing! My family and I arrived at 2pm on National Donut Day to find they had unfortunately, just sold out of donuts for the day. We were bummed, but understood. They're getting a 3, but a bit of a stretch. When they are "on", the donuts are great -- a 5+. But a good number of my visits lately have been disappointing due to baking slips. These donuts are the best I have ever eaten. Light, not greasy, fresh, and unique but authentic flavors. I have tried the blue corn maple and chocolate bacon chili. Sunday morning the espresso machine was out, and our server, Ivory Brown gave us a gift certificate as goodwill. Wow!

Whatever reputation this place used to have to call it "the best donut in New Mexico" is long gone. I was scammed. I got up 6am to be here at 8am, these should be as close to fresh an experience as possible. The donuts are shockingly stale. There is no excuse, the time we arrived would not be enough time for them to be this dry and brittle. The only explanation is that we were given day old donuts and sold at full price. I couldn't even finish the donuts I purchased, I ended up tossing them. These things
