I thought I knew where to get the best donuts in town, but then we moved away from Mister T's at Standiford to the Scenic area and it turns out that there is *another* 24 hour donut shop in Modesto. They are both awesome, but We Donuts is even more awesome! The best part is I live right down the street from them. Their chocolate frosting actually tastes chocolatey instead of just like regular sugar frosting that's been colored brown.

$17.50 for 2-Croisants, Ham breakfast sandwich and a Medium coffee. No...Wait!! $14 but the other clerk took the sandwich out of my bag and gave it to someone else after it was heated. So you put another in my bag, but you didnt heat it. Cold breakfast sandwich, SUCKS!! Your prices, SUCKS and your Who's on First Customer Service needs some help. Disappointing, NO Value and your clerk loosing her cool after you Overcharged, Didnt put what I ordered in my bag and then gave it to me COLD!! I should have j

Glad the new owners continued to serve the same great taste and selection of doughnuts. They added new items to their menu. I haven?t tried the new items yet, but they look and sound good. The only thing that I do notice is the amount of grammar and spelling mistakes on their menus and handwritten/printed signs. I am surprised the formal menu was made with errors since it appears that it was made by an outside company. For example, venilla instead of vanilla and Vienamese instead of Vietnamese to name a few

We Donut is very busy. Donuts are delicious and fresh. I had the breakfast sandwich croissant and definitely will have it again. The service was friendly.

These donuts are some of the best and freshest tasting donuts I've ever had! They are addicting and they lady behind the counter is always super nice.

I am so happy that We Donuts has joined Door Dash. It's a well-kept secret that We Donuts has the VERY BEST donuts in town! (MUCH better than Dunkin Donuts) When my daughter visits from South Dakota, a stop at We Donuts is a must do!

This is the quintessential donut shop experience and that makes sense based on how this place is named. Open 24/7 too which adds to its atmosphere. If you haven't experienced this place yet, you are missing out. You might be in and out in under 5 minutes but the experience will last you a lifetime. You will never forget this place. We's and Mr. T's make some of the absolute best donuts. I was lucky to have grown up on We's and compare all other donuts to them.

Well, we don?t go to get donuts there because of the atmosphere. It?s a very small older, donut shop, but the donuts are the best in town!! Always fresh! The chocolate that they use over the donuts is just delicious. It?s not dark it?s not milk chocolate it?s a perfect combination! I live clear across town from We?s donuts closer to it?s competitor however, we always go to We Donuts!!

Best donut in town by far! Yes, much better than overrated Mr. T?s. They change their oil daily unlike all other donut shops. They?ve been the best donut around for 28 years. Excellent customer service. Sam takes care of his customers. I?ve been going here since they opened. If you go late at night or early morning, you can score a warm one. Nothing like it!!

This has become my go-to donut shop when I am in the area. Every week or two. Their donuts are really pretty good, however... [ About every third time I have stopped by I got my style donut that must have sat in the case during the day? I find if they sit too long the donut I buy for myself will be greasy, it depends what time of evening I am returning home from Modesto down Scenic...& how long since they were made, that is why I rated them a 4 I buy a "plain buttermilk bar" or "old fashioned". I recommend

The best donuts in Modesto hands down. Weather it?s their old fashioned, chocolate bar, cake crumble, buttermilk or (my personal favorite) white cake w/ sprinkle, they are moist, perfectly cooked and so so good. The nicest service as well. Love this place!

Without exaggeration...WE donuts shop...put out a donut...that MELTS in your mouth. By far my fav donut shop. Family owned business. They offer a very nice selection of donuts and top the experience off with excellent customer service. There is disabled parking...and your given a welcoming greeting...and a smile as you enter their shop. Just love this shop.

Best donuts ever. I love donuts and I always compare places to this. Highly recommended the maple bar or the maple triangle with whipped cream in the middle! Also I used to go there every Saturday as a kid....15 years later and the owner always asks how my brother and dad are. If you haven't been before bring cash, but imo the atm fee is still worth it

Best donuts in town by far. Man that owns its pretty funny and always getting me to buy more maple bars instead of just one. Their coffee is exceptionally good also and I wonder why that is? Maybe the donuts enhance the coffee?

Best donuts ever. I went there at 0:30 hrs. All the donuts were fresh. I wanted some plain glazed donuts and they made me some in about 10 minutes. Melted me my mouth. Try them out everyone I know you will be very pleased.

We live in the Bayarea, but ever we are in Modesto we have to stop by this donut shop! The donuts are so good and the owners are so nice and pleasant. We leave with good tasting donuts and laughter!

They are so accommodating to our needs. We always get round maples, maple bars and no icing buttermilk bars. We call with order of what we would like, they always give us a time all our items will be ready. Only request, wish they would make buttermilk bars with raisins, No Icing. Best place in Modesto!

Could be better. Every time I go they never have regular glazed donuts or chocolate donuts which are the reasons I go to the donut shop. They are open 24hrs so might as well keep up with having all flavors of donuts ready

we love We! this is our favorite donut spot in Modesto we go every Saturday morning at least the owner is super friendly. they only take cash, there is an atm inside but it's kinda weird you tell it the amount and it prints a r eciept that you give to the employee and they use it like a voucher for cash.. place is open 24/7 and the donuts are always fresh!

I grew up in Modesto left for 20 years been back over 10 years and just went here a couple weeks ago... Fresh donuts inexpensive and great service and open 24 hours!! Gotta go here.

Lived in Modesto 25 years...my whole life and We Donuts has always been my go to place! They have the best donuts in Modesto and they are nice people! I go every couple weeks

Donuts were good not old and stale. Not too hard to order friendly staff. No one else has said this that I?ve seen so BRING CASH! They have a funky atm setup that gives a receipt rather than cash but charges 2 bucks like a regular atm. All around tho pretty good shop

Okay so I went to WE Donuts tonight. I asked for 4 chocolate donuts with chocolate frosting with nuts to go in my dozen of donuts. I was given vanilla and asked if that was the right ones. I was told yes by two different workers yes they were right. But when I got home NO NO No they were not. So I took them back. The man who help me says what. I said I wanted Chocolate. He said Okay Takes back the donuts That I brought back and puts them back on the shelf to be sold again. Is that how a business is sup

Entrance/location can be tricky if on Oakdale and Scenic. Had to double back through parking lot. But found what I was looking for. Also quality and service were great. Overall a good experience for my first time. I'm definitely going back.

I've been coming here for donuts for almost at least ten years and they still make some of the best donuts I've ever had.

The ham and cheese croissant was as good as it has always been. The doughnuts were just ok this time.... Not too impressed with being robbed by a $2 charge for using a card. It doesn't cost anywhere that close to authorize a purchase via debit.... Editing to include that he ran it as if I was doing an ATM withdrawal and was charged an additional non bank ATM fee. $5 in fees, for $11 total to get my 2 kids each a doughnut and myself a croissant.

Been going here for years...Donuts have not changed, remained the same. I would compare them to Mr. T's (in my opinion!) but wish they would branch out into creating newer items as well such as Cronuts, & croissants.

Best in the morning, of course. Don't prepare donuts as often throughout the day as some other shops, so after 10 am or so not that good. But great before then!

The only reason this place isn't getting a 5 is because we didn't like the icing on top. The selection was good and the donuts seemed fresh from that morning. Mind you, nothing with beat a Bloedows donut from Winona, MN.

Have been going to this donut shop for 20 + years absolutely love them when I was pregnant with my daughter I would crave their donuts and the frosting that comes on their donuts so whenever I ordered he would always give me a small cup full of the frosting they're the best

These are among the best, in direct competition with Mr. Ts. But I think they are both really good. We has better donut holes and buttermilks than Mr. Ts but Ts has better old fashions and the list goes on.
