Amazing and clean, one of the best caramel latte since moving from NYC. Our barista maybe 12 years old name Tyler was PHENOMENAL!! Just WOW. If you visiting Carolina Beach this is a must visit.

Searching for a good cup of coffee, we came across this little shop. The Apple Fritter was huge and delicious. The Latte was everything I expected and we took 6 donuts to go.

It's nice this coffee and donuts shop is open later than most. We stopped by to pick up some filled and glazed sweet treats in the late afternoon. The donut dough was a little dry already but overall still good. Probably have to go before noon for the best selection and quality.

The donuts were some of the best I've ever had! Flavors of all kinds like turtle, fruit loops, s'mores, key lime, wake n bacon, etc. There's something for everyone to pick and enjoy with anything from singles to dozen boxes with coffee to pair it with this is a must stop on your trip to Wilmington!

This donut shop is so busy it must be good. Whoever is writing reviews for the ?great? gluten free donuts have obviously never tried them. There are gluten friendly options and the texture is rubbery when you bite into it. The frostings and glazes are fine, but the donuts are absolutely terrible. Go for the regular donuts, but do not make a special trip for gluten free donuts or you will be disappointed!

This place has the best donuts I've had in a long time. My only issue was with the customer service. Nice young fellow that served us and has the potential to be an excellent salesman and could really boost this shops sales if he would only engage more, meaning making eye contact, staying present in the moment and not checking out during the engagement. I felt like I was sent to an abandoned island when I started to order.

Wake N Bake is our favorite donut shop! Their donuts always taste and look amazing! Also, I'm not really sure how they do it but, their gluten free donuts are out of this world! They are so soft, like a cake donut! The staff is always so friendly as well!

Wake n Bake is not only the best donut place to be at but also is a great environment to meet really amazing people. I really enjoyed my visit. I met and learned a lot about the owner. I ordered the pumpkin pie stuffed Donut. It sounded great, and looked so filling, but I have my doubts because I am very picky when it comes to texture and softness of the bread items. Great selection of donuts. The Oreo cheesecake is amazing! It's hard to choose a favorite! Buy a dozen to try an assortment. We also ordered the pop tart donut. It was huge! It was a donut stuffed with a poptart, topped with maple glaze and bacon. It was tasty! You can't go wrong with whatever you order!

They have such a wide variety of donuts here! So if you want a unique donut, then this is the place to visit. When I got there they had 2 different kinds of gluten free donuts left, a cappuccino and a glazed. They both tasted wonderful, but the texture wasn't like a normal donut (which wasn't surprising considering it is gluten free). The worker was super friendly too!

Really disappointed in the doughnuts. The toppings and fillings taste like they came out of a tin can. Was hoping a specialty doughnut shop would have quality toppings and fillings that were homemade. Didn't finish either doughnut. The actual doughnut wasn't very fresh and it was 9am. Stopped in to try one of their donuts and coffee. I got the peanut butter donut. It was ok. Nothing to write home about. They claim to make their donuts fresh every morning, but it certainly tasted more than a few hours old. I think I may have gotten one from yesterday's batch. They have many flavors to choose from. I would most likely give them another try.

Stopped by this past Sunday afternoon around 2 o?clock with three friends. Apple fritters are usually large, puffy, quite a bit of apple filling and tasty. This time they were flat as a pancake and very little filling and flavor.!!!! I ordered a small coffee and it was only half full and was like syrup. A large coffee was fill up to the rim with no room for creamer. One of the guys needs to get off his phone. they both need to learn customer service.

2nd time there in last month. Boston creme hardly any custard. Strawberry donut barely any jelly. Coffee was old. Very disappointed And not cheap.

Cute place at Carolina Beach. We went here for breakfast because we stayed at the Carolina Beach State Park, and it was literally around the corner. We were there on Saturday morning at what seemed to be a difficult time for the staff member. It didn't seem to be staffed properly but the young lady (Sydney) was very professional and handled everything well (despite an older man being very disrespectful to her). For some reason there was dog fur all over the place. Donuts kind tasted like Hawaiian rolls with icing on them. I love Hawaiian rolls but not as a donut. Place kinda smelled like off as well. Maybe they?re nose blind.

Fantastic place with surprising and bold flavors that are so fun. We tried an assorment. Local favorites are the Wake n Bacon and the Carolina Sand. The titles are fun the taste is amazing. The most interesting was the Dat Ghost Fire, a Ghost Infused Chocolate. The cold brew coffee was on point and the staff friendly.

Went in here for our first time because it was recommended to us. We walked in about 10 am (11/23/24) to have a decaf coffee and donut. Was looking at the donuts while the sales person was sitting on his phone. No greeting. Asked if he had decaf coffee and he said only decaf espresso??? Didn't even look up from his phone! Very disappointing, so we left. Someone should teach him some customer service skills, just might increase sales!

The owner makes rude comments on Facebook and then makes fun of people when they try to correct the behavior. The donuts are dry, they never have anything in stock and overall the atmosphere seems like mean girl vibes all around.

There are a lot of varieties of donuts and coffee, but it's really the novelty they're selling here. My creme filled donut (my go-to when trying a donut place) didn't have any creme in 85% of it, and the poptart filled one tasted less like a poptart than I would expect and was too rich for 2 people to fully consume. The guy working there was super friendly and outgoing, willing to answer questions and provide recommendations. Unfortunately, the donuts were just ok. Might or might not return.

While on the way to a grocery store on vacation I saw this place and my heart skipped a beat, I love doughnuts. Reasonable priced delightful: A foodie who couldn?t put it down faster from coffee espresso and all the baked delights . I personally tried 5 different kinds and was left full and ready to buy more come early they sell out quick but so delicious perfectly cooked and balanced in flavor and texture.

They have the craziest donut ideas that are delicious and have even won donut contests on the Cooking Channel. My favorites are the Slimm Shady and the Samoa. Came down for our honeymoon and Wake n Bake was the closest donut shop near the campground and my wife wanted donuts. So we pulled up.
