This place is really yummy and the staff is always nice. I'm a huge fan of all of their donuts and unfortunately, I don't have a favorite one since all the ones I have tried tasted delicious ???? I'm however, excited they added some entrees to the menu. The Vegan Orange Chikn' and the Crispy Burger are a must try ?? They also offer a small pantry and freezer item section which is super convenient. I would definitely recommend visiting this donut shop ????

We got there late today but they still had some vegan donuts left. I paid $17.50 for the box of donuts and the little dozen bag of donut holes. These have no egg or milk products in them. Perfect for my daughter that has severe allergies to eggs. Since the other vegan donut place closed down. Pretty sure because the servers were horrible. Vegan Donut & Gelato has always been a wonderful vegan restaurant. Everything we have ordered here has been delicious. The best part about it, though, are the people who run it. Vivian and Henry used to make the donuts, and always greeted us with a smile and kind words. We love this place but they recently changed owners. The service is great but the donuts aren?t as good as they use to be. The donuts aren?t smaller and they don?t even cover the whole donut in icing. I was really disappointed in my old fashion only had half the icing and my cinnamon was dry because lack of icing. Visited Vegan Donut & Gelato and ordered the fried rice, 4 egg rolls, a dozen donuts, a dozen donut holes, two kolaches, and a scoop of taro gelato...also four juice boxes. 100% vegan! Just had the pleasure to try this today. I don't live close but was in the area for work and decided to swing by. Even at 12:30pm they still had a decent selection to choose from. My boyfriend and I came from out of town and were so excited to try these donuts! When we walked in we were instantly charmed by the whole place. If we didnt already have other plans we would have stayed to eat there. She was so sweet and helpful and THE DONUTS were UNBELIEVABLY FRESH AND DELICIOUS! These are probably the best or one of the best vegan donuts I've ever had and I've been all over. New Jersey, New York, Maine, etc. Didn't expect Texas to have such yummy vegan food! The kolaches are great too.

Great doughnuts, yeast and cake. They keep adding new varieties, like their cream or apple-filled ones. The sausage, cheese, and jalapeno kolache was absolutely fantastic as well. I love that a vegan business can exist and the products are great, regardless of their ingredient list. The staff has also been nothing but smiles and super helpful every time I have been in.

So I went in this morning around 7:45 due to an intense pregnancy craving and my local shop didn?t have the orange or blueberry flavoring. After I ordered those two specific donuts, I went to pay for them and the lady at the front counter (one of the owners I presume) said I didn?t meet the $5 credit card minimum and that I needed to spend more to be able to meet it. We had blueberry cake donuts and soy chorizo kolaches. They're both excellent, the dough is light and fluffy and the chorizo tastes like real meat. The owners are super friendly and service is the best I've ever experienced at a donuts shop. I only eat vegan twice a year whenever I go on my wellness cleanse so I always try to find vegan food that don't taste like I'm deprived of meat. This place definitely will be on my list to visit for future cleanse.

Looks like there are new owners now, the food is not good. The donuts are stale and the "nuggets" tasted like a fried couch and the sweet and sour sauce was bad. I would steer clear from here.

I was at first irritated at how far this place was from our house. And the place looked simple - too simple - ?oh gosh is this place gonna be gross?? I thought - and then I put the first vegan kolache in my mouth and it was so crispy and buttery - warm and crunchy - dang this was freaking awesome. I had THE BEST Kolaches ever, this morning! So tasty ! I love finding this vegan restaurant near where I?m staying! The owners are so nice, and I also bought groceries from the freezer section. We enjoyed sitting outside with our dog and glad they had provided a water bowl. We will return soon!

Legitimately the Best place in town for Vegan Donuts, Vegan Kolaches (with cheese, hot dog, or spicy jalapenos), and Gelato. I took my kids yesterday for our first visit. We were blown away by the flavors! We had the yummy vegan hot dog kolaches, which were fabulous and very flavorful. We also enjoyed a variety of the donuts, all delicious. I think our favorite was the orange frosted, what a bright, yummy orange flavor! We are craving more and already planning our next visit! Everything was amazing delicious and the service was so pleasant. The dough is soft, fluffy, and fresh. The donut flavors are excellent from matcha to cherry and the kolaches are tasty with a exceptional variety of vegan meats and cheese. The vegan egg rolls are flavourful too. The yeast donuts are fantastic with a creamy texture and perfect sweetness. The one thing that surprised me was the maple is outweighed by the smokey goodness of 'bacon' on the Maple Bacon Donut, could be balanced with a hint stronger maple. The cake donuts are nice as well, but you are able to tell it is vegan. The kolaches seem more of an also ran, but I will say I plan on returning to try more than just the one type I had.

Wonderful donuts, lovely creamy Gelato with light coconut flavor to each. The veggie hotdog kolache was the biggest pleasant surprise. The texture of it was the best veggie dog I've ever had and the jalape?os made it even better! Prices are higher than your average donut shop, but that is to be expected when their raw ingredients are more expensive to buy. The vegan Jerky they carry is also surprisingly good.
