Worst donuts I've ever had... except for the apple fritter. I had the one with raspberry and blueberry coating $5 and NO FILLING! WTH? Also, the white icing on top was so sweet. I scraped it off. The one with filling (light green) macha??? Was horrible! $13.50 for 3 boring nasty donuts??? NEVER AGAIN!!
excellent vegan donuts and AMAZING breakfast burrito. the donuts were definitely a little hardier than most but the breakfast burrito was OUTTA THIS WORLD. i?m vegetarian and this was one of my favorite breakfast burritos ever. the best donut flavor was the french toast flavor (crunchy and delicious)
Amazing place! I love being able to go somewhere and not have to worry about anything on the menu. Everything is plant based, with a selection of gluten free options. The avi burrito and the Stevie donut were both perfection. The staff were super warm and friendly. Loved the art. Wish there was indoor seating!
really enjoyed these donuts! i wish i could have tried the huckleberry danish, but will definitely be back to see if i can manage to get one
Beautiful presentstion of hand crafted donuts. Large breakfast burritos are made fresh! Vegan donuts were plentiful. The cake donuts are heavy and a bit much for my taste, but the plain ones were great. They also have a small basket with discounted day old donuts which was cool, and much more affordable.
Veera is so good!!! Both sweet and savory foods, all vegan and plant based, and everything we ate was delicious. We ordered a number of donuts, the Nashville Chicken sandwich and the breakfast burrito. Food was so tasty and filling. Glad we found this spot while driving through Missoula.
We were excited to try this spot coming from out of town. The donuts are so pretty and unique. We went for pickup at 8:00. They were out of the first and second choice gluten free, which was the reason we picked the spot. The 8 we got were all heavy, greasy, and really sweet. We bought a couple day old donuts since they had available flavors, but they were not good!! At $4.50+/piece I expected better.
Awesome location and atmosphere! My son and I stopped to grab a dozen doughnuts for the drive back to Idaho after a bodybuilding competition. We got a good variety Oh. My. Hell! So so good! Great flavors, the dough was perfect. . I can?t say enough good things about this place. Such friendly staff this morning. To the ?B? Pamela that left the 3 star 2 reviews ??. Go somewhere else. You knew what you were ordering. Stick to Hostess doughnuts and STFU. Respectfully of course. ?? To Veera staff?.awesom
We are so glad to have found Veera while traveling. The apple fritter was perfection, and the filling of the Boston cream is something to write home about. The Fever Dreamer donut was outstanding too, with the perfect balance of fresh berry flavor and tang, and swetness of the house made fluff. All of the savory items were full of flavor, especially the crunch wrap supreme.
Very creative and decadent donuts. The richness of the cake donuts was amazing. I couldn?t eat one in a whole sitting. Just the right amount of sweet. I got one of their savory donuts. It was like an everything bagel but fluffier and more donut textured. At first I wasn?t sure how I was going to feel about it because I associate donuts with sweet, but it was very fantastic. The staff is amazing and polite. The building is handicap accessible. Definitely worth the stop.
I was really excited to try this place, especially since donuts are all they do. But honestly, it was a huge letdown. Both donuts I ordered were undercooked, with raw dough still stringy inside. If your entire business is selling donuts, the least you can do is make sure they?re properly cooked. There?s no excuse for serving raw dough. I get that running a food business isn?t easy, but basic quality control shouldn?t be this hard. I hope the owners wake up and fix this, because this kind of carelessness is
These donuts were pretty amazing. I ordered a half dozen for breakfasts while I was traveling. Refrigerated the extra between days and they kept really well. A few were a bit too sweet for me, but I just took some of the frosting off and they were perfect. Would be a frequent visitor if I was in town. My favorite was the stevie. I also had a breakfast sandwhich. The English muffin was delicious. I'm not a big fan of the vegan meat substitutes, like beyond. They seem heavy and tend to make my stomach unsettl
Been looking for vegan and gluten free donuts, these were AMAZING! @ridingonadventures
If you haven't tried their crunch wrap supreme, you're missing out! I'm not normally an "impossible meat" eater, but this has changed my ways! I crave them! The burritos are also amazing. Love the donuts but prefer the other food options. The size of the crunch wrap is enormous and filling!
The donuts are fantastic. Even the OG Chocolate can't be beat. I'm curious who the Nine Inch Nails fan is as several donuts are named after NIN songs.
The most delicious giant donuts in town. Yummy ????
INCREDIBLE donuts. We were in town for a few days and hit this spot after hiking the "M" trail. The best donuts I've ever tasted.
Came here for the first time yesterday! These donuts are HUGE! And so delicious. My family loved them. They were about $4-$5 each donut but we got 1/2 dozen for $22!!
Cool place, nice vibe, but sometimes big isn?t what you want. Had a savory donut, and I just doesn?t work. Ends up greasy and bland. Filling is giant in the middle, and too much to be tasty. Actually kind of nauseating, and the other parts need more flavor. As a donut lover, it?s really so much quantity the quality is gone.
I love their donuts. Just the right amount of sweetness. I don't crash after eating these donuts like the grocery store ones. I recommend spitting one with someone. I haven't had a bad one yet! I am looking forward to trying more of their holiday specials! Update: 4.9.23 Their donuts are still the best! Picked these guys up after dropping my husband off at the airport...brightened my day a bit! Can't wait to share these with family that's visiting from out of town!
Verra Donuts is the best bakery I?ve truly ever been to and I?ve been to a lot all over the country. It?s a humble little bakery with an eclectic ambiance that specializes in the most delicious donuts I?ve ever tasted. It?s also very affordable for all the food we got. My partner and I each got a donut, coffee and burrito. We requested to leave the tofu out of our burritos and they were happy to accommodate us even further by adding more veggies in place of the tofu. It all turned out to be delicious with v
What a great donut place! The atmosphere is awesome. The service was great, they went over every donut in detail and made some great recommendations. The donuts are a little more expensive than most donut places but it?s totally worth it. The donuts are huge and the flavors are amazing! Some of the flavor combinations they have are really unique but work really well. We?ll definitely be stopping in every time we?re in Missoula!
I?m definitely a Veera vegan donut junky! Interestingly enough, I?m not crazy about normal old donuts and I don?t care too much about Vegan?but the beauty of these donuts gets me every time. Then, I taste them and I?m a goner! Good thing I don?t live in Missoula.
Out for a long bike ride and headed to Big Dipper Ice Cream. Got off bike and noticed Veera Donuts. Happens to be right beside the ice cream shop. Locked bike up and walked over. Big mistake. The mixture of donuts were incredible. Really wanted a apple fritter but they were huge and tried a Stevee instead. Check out picture of Stevee . Also only one left and after eating half of it I know why. Bought a Cream Burlee for daughter. Only one left. Popular one also. Place was busy and lots of donuts that I will
Donuts were fantastic. Really unique styles. They are HUGE. Also gluten free options that were really good.
Big Delicious donuts. Lots of variety and flavor.
One of a kind donut shop known for their breakfast burritos & tasty vegan donuts. Love the Cobain mural adorning the front entrance. Had the Avi breakfast burrito & it was ??! Worth the 10 min wait & definitely the best in town. The Huckleberry danish & Creme brulee donut were decent. The filling for both are a bit too sweet for my taste. The donuts are huge & recommended for sharing.
Veera doesn?t disappoint! With our allergies (Gluten and dairy free) I?m confident in coming here for desserts for any occasion. They are a bit expensive, but you do get a good amount and I feel like they are worth it. They are always so fresh! They are always kind and helpful when helping us.
One of the hardest decisions you will ever have to make is picking your doughnut ??. They all look so good. From the traditional maple bar to these exotic creations.
Veera has a lovely staff and a really great selection of donuts along with a delicious food menu. Plenty of GF options. Looove the Avi burrito! The couple of times I?ve had the coffee, it wasn?t great, but with that not being their big focus, I still think they?re a 5-star establishment! Highly recommend.
Small donut shop that?s big on style and flavor. Very busy place but customer service was excellent. Great selection of flavors and lots of GF options. Solid 10 out of 10! Can?t wait to try more flavors!
White Zombie! Delish! Blueberry basil and pumpkin was also amazing to bring to my boss and coworkers. I feel a bonus coming in my future!
I always try to support local businesses when I travel. And this business did not disappoint. I recommend trying it out if you're ever in Missoula.
These donuts are melt in your mouth good. Everything about this place is eccentric including the taste. This place earns my vote for BEST DONUTS IN MONTANA - hands down! L??VE VEERA!
Stopped by from out of state. Veeras has so much more than just donuts. I had a great 666 wrap that justified the 2200 mile trip.
Such a cool spot for some outrageous donuts! Loved it
Stopped here for lunch while driving across the country. Everything we ordered was heaven. We were so disappointed when, on the drive back, we realized we?d be rolling through Missoula on the one day of the week that Veera is closed. My son still talks about doing another road trip (from Vancouver, BC) just so we can go see Veera again.
The Maple Twists are so fluffy and delicious! The Old Fashioned Cake donut was too rich for me - I found it to be pretty oily and couldn't finish it. But if you like classic maple bars, try the Twists because they are amazing.
The donuts are great. We bought half a dozen and enjoyed them. But we didn't get one of the donuts we ordered, and when we went back to tell them we got the wrong one, they weren't very nice about it. It was not a big deal, but it was the only donut flavor that one of our group wanted. They did replace it, but with the wrong flavor again! We wanted a great destroyer but started with a Boston dream and then got a pistachio cream before we got the correct one. And the wrong donuts just ended up in the trash.
Amazing baked goods including delicious gluten free options! Since the gluten free pastries are baked in the same place as pastries with gluten, it is probably only good for those with a gluten sensitivity. Our family got gluten free donuts & a huckleberry poptart and huge apple fritters for the ones who can have gluten. The fritters are the size of a paper plate! Everything tasted great!
From the amazing food to the awesome donuts, Veera's did not disappoint! Wow, wow, wow! I had the Queen of the Rodeo breakfast sandwich, and it was so filling! I couldn't finish all of it. My friend had the Vee's breakfast burrito, and she couldn't finish it all, either. The prices were so reasonable, too, for what you get. You don't leave hungry, that's for sure. I couldn't make up my mind which donut to buy, so I bought 8....lol. Totally worth every penny. Run, don't walk, to Veera's today!
To die for! The best donut I have literally ever had. The classic Veera, a French today inspired donut was by far my fav. The classic chocolate was absolutely delightful as well, but the subtle crunch of the cinnamon on the Veera and the flaky delightful wonder made the donut absolutely divine. When in Missoula, be sure to check out this little piece of Heaven. ??????
Can a restaurant make you cry (in a good way)? Yes! On a drive across the country, I looked up vegan options in Missoula when I was about an hour away, I called, spoke to the nicest person who was willing to plan the perfect meal with me over the phone and have it ready when I pull up (which was gonna happen right at their closing time). As soon as I arrived and got out of the car, I saw the mural of Kurt Cobain and started to cry. SO beautiful! And everyone inside was incredibly kind and friendly. I drove
The most decadent donuts I have ever had! Soooo good! Want to try their food too next time I am in Missoula
Holy gigantic donuts batman!! Now, this is what I call a donut ??! Now, I am not into vegan stuff, but I was really impressed! I like how fluffy, soft, and savory these donuts are. I do recommend cutting them in two though because I felt like I ate a full course meal after eating one whole; it was just so yummy though ??!!!
Great vegan spot in Missoula with an awesome rock star ambiance! Though the person behind the counter seemed a bit impatient with me (sorry, I'm from out of town, hadn't had my morning coffee, and was super out of it!) and the food wasn't quite I expected. So, some constructive criticism, at the risk of sounding like a complainer: the buffalo chick'n burrito I ordered was wayyyy too greasy to the point of being soggy and dripping with oil (the veggies were sauteed in a pool of oil which is definitely not ne
Best donuts I?ve ever had. What a delight to find such fun and decadent vegan options! The plant-based breakfast sandwiches are also delicious and offer choices beyond the standard & traditional. I feel so seen ??.
My partner and I LOVE this place. The donuts are a bit on the pricey side but they're a great size and delicious; definitely worth the price. They also have breakfast sandwiches which are the absolute bomb!
I'm not a vegan, but the donuts here are AMAZING! There are so many flavors and they taste delicious. The donuts are big, so come with an appetite or plan to take some home ??
I had to edit this review to add a photo of the updated everything donut?the seasoning is perfection and I love that the cream ?cheese? spread is in its own container! Much easier to eat served up like this! And I?m still in love with the shop, food and staff ?????? By far the best donuts in Missoula, vegan or otherwise! The New Level savory donut is amazeballs. Everything spice, cream cheese and chives...I?m in love ??. The staff is super nice, too. Honestly, they could be total jerks and I wouldn?t care.
Veera's easily has the best donuts I have ever had. They are so creative with the flavors and the presentation is beautiful. I always get them when I visit Missoula now! The GF options are also so stellar. I have had troubles on their website trying to place orders and knowing when I can place an order for morning pick up but I think I'm starting to figure it out. Keep rocking it, Veera's!
Best doughnut shop we?ve had in Missoula since I don?t know when. Besides these amazingly delicious bites to bring sunshine to your day, I would also recommend their mind blowing breakfast burrito.
My goodness. I'm not even vegan, and that was the best breakfast burrito (and one of the best burritos ever period) in my life. Keep up the good work.
Love the sandwich but fake meat is gross, they substitute Tom's and lettuce to make it perfect! I dont eat donuts, sweets are not my thing, but that sandwich. Yum.
Amazing food all around. The mac & cheese was filling and rich, the birthday cake donut was well-received by my boyfriend and the "foxy loxy" savory donut with carrot "lox," vegan cream cheese and capers was amazing! I will definitely return next time I am in town!
Delicious vegan donuts and friendly, welcoming atmosphere. Mask wearing staff and patrons that we saw. The Boston cream was amazing and I got a raspberry lemon flavor (forget the name) that was perfect. Fluffy and interesting flavors. Yummy oat milk latte! Amazing foam despite not being real cream. Took them along the River for a delicious picnic.
I ordered some donuts for a group through a delivery service. Long story short there was a snafu with the order. I was compensated by the delivery service, but Veera's Donuts owner wanted to make it right. She then hand delivered the order with extras. I can guarantee a big chain wouldn't have done this! Everyone that got the tasty treats were over the moon with the flavors. This is why supporting your local business owners is so important. Good people making great products. Thank you!
These donuts are awesome. They're huge, and very tasty. If you're worried they won't be good because they're vegan, worry not, because they've clearly figured out their recipe like a science. I've had the old discount donuts and the fresh donuts and they're both good! Worth the price!
The food here is amazing. I wish there were more customizable options though. I'm allergic to peppers, so I can't have anything with a spicy flavor (which rules out all their savory food, since I'm unable to swap chicken for sausage or remove the heat on the chicken stuff). Guess I'll just stick to the donuts next time. I tried to stock up on glazed, since that's my favorite but they gave me sprinkled ones instead since they were out. Disappointed. The coconut donut is definitely worth trying at least
We got one of each of the gluten free options available. So happy to find another place serving gluten free options! They're definitely sweet, but what else would you expect from a donut? Thanks for providing a nice treat for the gluten free folks!
Staff was helpful. Donuts looked amazing and they gluten free options which is really nice to see. The donuts themselves were disappointing given the reviews. We tried five different donuts. The old fashioned glazed donut has a unique flavor that is not traditional. The donuts were also very dry. We were excited to try the Thai tea donut but couldn?t distinguish any Thai flavor in it, just tasted too sweet. After sampling all of them, the only one we finished eating was the maple donut. Overall, glad to che
Donuts are great and prices are ok. You do need to check your order. The messed up my order two weeks in a row. Once the wrong item once I was shorted on my order. A little too much yanking between employees instead of paying attention to the order.
My husband brought home leftover Veera's donuts from work and they were amazing. Seriously, and I'm not even really a donut person. The dough is yummy, and I think there's even cinnamon in the dough in some of them. They taste real. Mission for today: find actual store and obtain fresh supply of donuts.
Loved the vibes and donuts at this shop. Tasty gluten free options too!
HOLY COW....................this was THE BEST DONUT I have ever had in my lfe! It was the strawberry shortcake and I am definitely ordering this one on my next visit into town It was pretty rich but man oh man was it the BEST. We also ordered the Veera. It was good, but you want to get your hands on that strawberry one for sure!
Stopped by twice on my way through Missoula. Great selection of gf donuts. All were delicious but my favorite was the chocolate donut with sprinkles!
Got the AVI breakfast burrito, the apple fritter, a blueberry basil donut, and a coffe. The burrito was so tasty, and I would definitely get it again. The fritter was also so yummy, but so big! Tasted even better after waiting a bit and letting all of the sugar and apple soak into the dough. The blueberry basil donut was good, but I didn?t taste any basil. And the coffee? not good. I love coffee and I?m not super picky but I took a few sips and couldn?t finish it :/ Disappointed in the coffee but everything
An amazing wonder of donuts! The person behind the counter was really kind and let us take our time with deciding what to choose. The whole place was filled with really cool, groovy art and I definitely recommend popping in to just look at the drawings and paintings! Lots of choices for food and sweets. The donuts were fun with descriptions about what they're made out of. All in all, the whole place was a great stop and I hope others agree!
Delicious Vegan donuts. Flavors are well thought out and executed. Go for the old fashions, the fritters or the white zombies
Boston dream donut was good, lots of cream. The frosting was thicker than expected for a Boston cream. The apple fritter was pretty good too.
Love the atmosphere. Doughnuts are incredible. If I'm in Missoula I will definitely stop here. Blueberry Basil doughnut might be the best thing I've ever eaten.. nommm:)
This is my favorite restaurant. The food is so unique and delicious I have yet to find anything comparable. Love this place!!
Great staff, good donuts. And I'm not even vegan! Take note you can't turn left when driving towards downtown, so go past big dipper ice cream and go around the block.
Delicious variety, beautiful to look at. We had a fun time choosing donuts for ourselves and then went back to get donuts for friends as a thank you gift for watching our dogs.
Delicious doughnuts! They can sell out fast depending on if there is a holiday or not. One of the best doughnuts is the Veera! Please check it out. Worth the drive or money. Plus its vegan why not!
Maybe the BEST DONUTS I have ever had! I can't stop thinking about them. I had 3 different gluten free ones, all of which were beyond delicious!! Thanks for making such great gluten free treats!! The service was great! I don't live in Missoula, otherwise I'd be here every day!!
Vegans & non vegans will absolutely adore this place! The atmosphere, culture & of course those out of the world doughnuts are on a whole other level! Everything we have tried is just absolutely delightful!
Best donuts I've had Vegan or not! The food is so amazing my partner and I came back everyday for bfast on our visit to Missoula.
THE BEST DONUTS!!! I've been vegan for half a year, and hadn't had any donuts since. These were so delicious!! Definitely coming back when in Montana. I had the Creme Brulee donut, and it was definitely crunchy and had a delicious cream inside.
So awesome! Went on a recommendation from a friend, and it was a HIT!! The donuts were awesome, and the gal was so kind and patient with my kiddos! Highly recommend!!!
I love this place! Best donuts and other breakfast options as well. These are called the Stevie and they are so delicious. Go there, you won't be disappointed.
Such a wonderful local spot. Great people, even better food. And definitely get the Apple Fritters!
I?ll start by saying that honestly the donuts are really good and as someone with a gluten intolerance I have been grateful in that past for Veera donuts. With that being said, I?m struggling a bit with returning anymore with their weird creepy devil stuff going on. Between the ?Buffalo 666 burritos and tacos?, ?Angel of doom? donut, and a giant stamp on the box of a horned creature, it stopped being for me. It?s not cool or edgy if you?re someone who is actually religious. I AM religious but also if I owne
Can I give them 64 stars? So so so yummy, more importantly, they play a kickass variety of metal & punk. And they give back to the community, could not love this place more.
This was my first time at ordering from Veera's and it was AMAZING!! I had Vee's Crunchwrap Supreme with a gluten-free tortilla. I couldn't believe how good it was and the tortilla was, but far, the best GFb tortilla I've ever had. The GF donuts were incredible too. I will definitely be ordering again, and again.
Great place. Awesome donuts. Apple fritters are HUGE!
The best donuts I?ve ever had! The Stevie was my favorite. Also got a chocolate n vanilla. Delicious!
Holy s!$t. Absolute heaven. The donuts were wicked and the food was awesome
