Best donut place in Washington State. I've tried numerous others. The lady is always extremely nice, the place is always clean and there is always a wide variety to choose from. Will continue to come here!

I dont really like sweets and i do indulge in a donut shop from here to there time to time and I got to say I don?t really like donuts all that much but these donuts were hands-down, the best donuts I have ever had in my life this cinnamon twists the jelly doughnut back almost couldn?t stop eating them so good their dough recipe is superb extremely soft and delicate. Just amazing It must be a good donor if someone who doesn?t like sweets can?t stop thinking about them.

Got cream filled and raspberry filled donuts. Both were very lackluster. The donuts didn't have much substance to them, the chocolate frosting wasn't very sweet and tasted nothing like chocolate, and each donut only had a bite or two worth of filling. The place is dingy and the lady working wasn't very pleasant. I won't be back

As stated in the below review, the lady was rude and had an attitude and unpleasant tone. She does not greet customers when they enter or acknowledge their presence, and rolls her eyes at customers when they give their order. Almost walked out because of how unprofessional she was. The place can benefit a lot from great customer service and she could use a lot of training for it.

The husband and wife who own and operate this place are amazing. These are hands down my favorite donuts. They are light and fluffy, not greasy or too sugary. Perfect.

I have a 9 out of 10 gluten intolerance, a crumb of wheat would destroy me. But I can eat these no problem. It is hard to make a claim to say they are gluten free, but they passed my test easily. I eat a few dozens a week. Its family owned and ran. they are hardworking. The baking area is also used for some of their non gluten donuts, so for celiacs I wouldnt try, unless you dare.. The donuts are light and fluffy. not overcoated with sugar. its amazing how they make gluten free donuts look and have texture

Good donuts, great service, sketchy atmosphere. I wouldn't eat here in the store it felt a little dirty, but the donuts were perfectly acceptable, coffee was tasty, and price was reasonable.

My family and I have been looking for an inexpensive, yet amazing donut, we have found that place!!! Their donuts, even the cake donuts are light and airy. I was blown away by how delicious these donuts are, better than Krispy Cream donuts. You will NOT be disappointed by these donuts and the wonderful lady who makes them and runs the shop. I'm unable to make it in early enough to get the first of the donuts, she's willing to set aside however many I want and I can get them later. The price is just right as

The lady has always exhibited a pattern of rude behavior. Today was it.... I don't think she understands that a business runs because of its customers. She could benefit from customer service training.

This is a small business, they make good donuts, nobody really comes here. They make great soft, delicious donut.

Been going to Variety for years. Consistency is amazing. It's a community staple. If I am bringing donuts to any function, they are Variety Donuts.

I drive truck locally and, in the past, would stop by and get a couple of my favorite donuts. Today is my last visit. I will say their donuts are good although donut size and variety have shrunk. In the last couple of years, they have added a surcharge if you use debit for less than $5 or $6. I fundamentally disagree with this as they are charging plenty for their donuts. Amazing doughnuts! I gave this place a shot when Krispy Kreme was too crowded for me to wait. These were beyond my expectations! The light fluffiness of these donuts were spectacular. My personal favorite was the sugar covered donut and the Sugar twist. These were delicious and the wonderful owner was delightful and the simplicity of the shop caught my eye so I just had to try. This place is a hidden gem!

The donuts are good, but the service is questionable. 4 out of the 5 times I have been there the woman serving the donuts is grumpy. She's not happy and she gets upset if you want to pick out your own donuts and even more if you take a little time to choose.

Ok so this place is a fantastic example of "hole in the wall". It looks completely unassuming and kinda run down from the outside. Honest to god these small donuts joints are always the most delicious and high quality foods out there. Had missed the exit for Krispy Kream, so we just went to the next donut shop off of I-5 we saw on google maps and it was definitely worth it. The donuts here are a perfect ratio between glaze/chocolate and fluffy dough, and there?s another quality that only small donut shops possess ? the homemade feel. Only things that upset us was that they did not have the smoothie machine working.

This place is great! Quaint little shop right off South Tacoma Way. Donuts baked fresh! There was a guy rolling dough in the back as I came in. Friendly service. And of course, the donuts were delicious. They open early too, so really I have no reason to ever go back to Krispy Kreme. Spend your money here instead!

I did not catch the woman's name who worked there, but I was in there not less than an hour ago, picking up a very specific order for someone else, and the woman was extremely patient and cooperative. She really helped me a lot. Very good customer service.

Update! Hours later after refrigeration and they are still tasty and delicious! Different from hot off the press but still very good. A slightly denser texture cold but some donuts taste horrible after they are old. They may look like ordinary average doughnuts but upon the first bite you realize there's something special in the process they use. The dough is so light and airy it melts in your mouth!

The donuts I got were so light, airy and fluffy! Melt in your mouth, perfect flavor donuts. The jelly filling was delicious and spot on. If you like Krispy Kreme style donuts, come here! I can't stand the dense donuts at The House of Donuts who's flavors are usually a miss for me.

Finally a donut shop not trying to give me diabetes! Just the right balance of sweetener. Good sized donuts for the price too. They have at least 3 different flavors of jelly filled.... 3! Who does that anymore?

Just recently started going her me very early because they make very few filled donuts. First time I went here the donuts were unbelievable second time they were great but this time not so much I didn't care for it it's almost like they have a whole different recipe they were very dense. Not to mention the cost is pretty expensive.

Great donuts and a wonderful variety. You better get there early to get the best selection. I enjoy their baker's dozen of donut holes. My kids are fans of the jelly filled donuts wether it is strawberry, lemon, or raspberry.

I really enjoy these donuts, they are good quality and the Buttermilk is a especially good.

OMG! The best doughnuts! If you get there early enough, the doughnuts are still warm. The doughnut holes are my favorite, so soft and yummy. But my next favorite is the jelly, and the glazed. Better than Krispy Kreme. I love this place!

Tried all the donuts and not a fan. This is very much Krispy Kreme style where every donut tastes like cotton candy. If you prefer traditional style donuts then I'm afraid you'll have to go somewhere else.

The place smelled of old oil when we walked in. Should have walked back out but ordered anyway. The donuts were greasy and had a yellow tinge, must be the oil they use. They also tasted as bad as the place smelled. Worst donuts ever!

Went here for my boss, but the lady that's talked about in the other reviews is so rude. Why is it so hard for me to order the food without being made to feel bad for ordering it? My boss even warned me the lady who works here is rude
