This is my favorite coffee shop in Marion! They have the best coffee. I love going and getting their iced lattes and a Donutland donut. This time, I got an iced honey lavender latte and a cherry donut. They have high-quality coffee with amazing flavor! The staff are welcoming and friendly. They have multiple drink and food options. I would love to go back and try more! Highly recommend!

This place is hands down the best coffee in Marion! The wait is usually really long, and they could definitely use a few more workers. However, the coffee and pastries are definitely worth the wait! They handcraft each drink and it tastes incredible.

This coffee service is carved out of the front of a (very excellent) bar, but never fear: The coffee and doughnuts are excellent, and those who stay can choose between the cozy bar and the patio which faces Marion's Art Alley. Punch cards for regular customers, with double punches for bike riders.

Delicious food and drinks. Fast friendly service. The kombucha on tap is refreshing.

Overview - We started visiting Uptown Coffee Company almost a year ago. When it comes to excellent Espresso, consistency, food options for most anyone, and exemplary smiling staff, this is our go-to location! Out of Cedar Rapids, Marion, Hiawatha, and Iowa City (we lucked out living only 5 minutes away). We usually visit at least five times a week. Need I say more? Perfect location for this cute coffee shop! It is adorable, and there are a few seats to sit at inside. There is a coffee shop in the front and bar in the back. I will definitely come here again when I?m back in town.

We pop in occasionally and every time the staff is very nice and helpful they even serve donutland donuts here! It?s nice having this on this side of town! Great coffee and donuts 5/5 for uptown coffee!

They have the strongest and best iced coffee in Marion. Plus their homemade syrups are amazing! And they have Donut Land donuts(yum) Sorry Starbucks won?t be returning!

The atmosphere was very cool but the food was terrible. I ordered veggies with ham and added a wrap ?? for an extra fee, only to find out they just wrapped it in a tortilla and burned the bottom in a panini press. I will probably get coffee here again but won't eat here again.

It's the best coffee place in Marion. Super friendly staff, great atmosphere (I use the bar area to study), high quality coffee, solid food options for both sweet and savory. They have discounts for bringing your own mug, bicycling, and a punch card toward free beverages. Edit to add that their teas are also really high quality. Ordered 2 coffees but unfortunately they got the order wrong. The coffee was very delicious, brewed perfectly but luke warm. Hopefully we'll have a better experience next time.

Just a photo of my coffee cup edge! Why? Because hubby and I already demolished our breakfast food and drank our coffees. I do t put syrups in mine, but I love that they make their own syrups. Really great place to get coffee. It turns into another great evening place for a drink. The selections are great and the quality of their products are top notch. Throw in an amazing atmosphere and you have one of the best places to stop for a coffee in the area.

I adore this coffee shop. I?ve probably visited about 15 times, and I?ve never been disappointed. The coffee is high quality and absolutely delicious. The Donutland donuts are fresh and soft. And the veggie frittata w/ a light side salad - amazing.

Feels like a cozy-tight-don?t bring a big group to stay place. There?s a bar to the back attached to the coffee shop. Unless they allow you to sit in their space there?s not a lot of chairs to sit down inside. It?s cold so maybe they do patio during spring/summer. This place is our favorite place to get or Sunday coffee ritual. They have the best overnight oats we?ve ever had and they make the coffee just the way we like it! I like to wait for my drinks and watch them make it because it?s so fun to see how it?s done! We commend you all keep doing what you?re doing!

Cutest little coffee shop! The donuts are excellent and extremely soft! I had the birthday cake cake donut and an iced london fog that was ON POINT. They also had complimentary handmade face masks.

Uptown coffee is one of the best coffee shops in the CR area. Their coffee is fantastic and their staff is always super friendly and welcoming. Their breakfast burritos are our favorite thing to order with our coffee. Don't forget your own To go mug for a discount or ride your bike in too!

Coffee was great and I love the idea and concept of the area, but the food (breakfast burrito) was overpriced for what was in it. It tasted from frozen, powdered eggs not from fresh and the bacon and tots tasted a few days old. I would suggest just getting a donut as they're delivered in from Donutland fresh.

This is my favorite coffee in town and is very close to where I work (which is an expensive habit that I am willing to support) I love that they switch out their flavored syrups regularly and that they are handmade and creative with their flavors too. The staff is always friendly and the atmosphere is inviting as well.

I?ve stopped in while visiting a few times now and I wish we had a location closer to where I live because this place is amazing! The coffee is brewed incredibly well and is so so smooth and flavorful, you can tell there is a lot of effort that goes into sourcing high quality, and well roasted beans. This place has a new ish coffee called the Mocha Twist and the iced version is one of the best coffees I have ever had. It is a mocha and orange flavored drink it's amazing. Plus the location is so quant. I love it here.

Visited for the first time yesterday to work on a project. Great coffee! Atmosphere was great. Glad to see they were busy! Going back today to continue my project. I will defiantly put them at the top of my list to meet friends and clients. Lots of space unlike other coffee shops in the area.

I love stopping here for coffee and breakfast. Their blueberry cold brew is so good and has a natural sweetness! I've only had the breakfast panini with bacon and it's always hot with perfectly cooked eggs. They carry Donutland donuts too. Lots of seating in the back and patio.

We tried Uptown Coffee for the first time tonight and my daughter and I think it's possibly the best iced chai tea we've ever had!! Son enjoyed his iced latte and husband got the raw chocolate cold brew.

As someone who frequents coffee shops in the area, this is easily my favorite. The light roast coffee is the best tasting in town and the breakfast burrito is amazing. Uptown is better than Dash and Brewhemia without a doubt.

I wasn?t expecting to adore a coffee shop in a bar, but Uptown hits it out of the park with their finessed coffee skills and delicious flavor pairings. Their breakfast sandwiches are a must and I?ve never had a featured drink that I didn?t like there. Quality is clearly a priority for these folks and it?s so thoroughly appreciated! Love having y?all in the neighborhood!!!

Stopped by to pick up some coffee for a friend and the ladies behind the counter were very courteous and were willing to grind the beans there for me. Also, the latte I got for myself was delicious. Been a long time since I've had a cup of coffee that made me smile. Happy to discover this great coffee spot!

Love this place and always try to grab a coffee while I am in town. Tried a panini today, which was amazing! Google doesn't give you the exact location if the bar isn't open, but easy enough to find if you look around. Highly recommend - support local!

Uptown Coffee is absolutely top-notch. This is a coffee shop for people who are serious about their coffee. Some of my favorites are the cappuccino, iced latte, raw chocolate cold brew, and cortado. This coffee house has been my go-to when feeling homesick. It's got a very comfortable and cozy feeling and reminds me a lot of the places I'd visit back in Montreal. The people that woke there are extremely nice and friendly and I also admire them for continuing to adhere to suggested COVID guidelines as best as they can while still remaining a functioning business. I took my kids here to get a donut and some coffee. The service was great, the coffee was great, and we had a good time. However, while sitting there, I noticed on the book shelf playboy magazines next to us.

We went to Uptown Coffee last Sunday morning for a treat for my wife's birthday who loves Donutland Donuts. The donuts were great and our coffee was good, but we were basically asked to leave the front of the business or move to the back area because we didn't have masks on. How do you drink coffee and eat with masks on? Why is it that restaurants are open all over the city that you can eat and drink in, but not here? It was strange to say the least. We got up and left.

Coffee is good. But thanks for the 10$ Oscar Mayer lunch meat sandwich. The only thing good was the bread. Could probably throw in the chips givin your saving money on the meat. Makes me regret my lazy day choices. I can make a good sandwich so I really appreciate places that can too. This wasn't it. Just eliminate your lunch menu. Seems not worth effort.

We stopped here for a brunch gift exchange and it was the coolest! Very stylish interior with lots of seating and outlets with USB ports! The front half is a coffee shop with all the classic numbers but a few hipster twists. I had the Espresso and Tonic which was delicious! The back half is a cozy pub where you can also sit with your coffee. Uptown also serves food on a rotation. Paninis, breakfast burritos, and frittatas were all on the Brunch menu so you can?t go wrong!

Love the 16oz latte with vanilla and mocha syrup. I am now in love with the almond cardamom cappuccino and the combo of vanilla and brown sugar cinnamon is awesome. If you want coffee that is smooth and not sharp or burnt this is the place.

Spent 50 dollars here. i was told that the celery in the buffalo chicken came mixed in. I have a celery allergy. So unfortunately before I can eat my sandwich I have to pick out the celery. The guy on the phone was very rude about things saying that's just the way it is. First time ever ordering from here and I will not be coming back until the staff is more properly trained on customer service.
