Update 02.01.25 They still cost a bit more than I'd like but at the same time, everything has gone up. They do taste good so try them out. Chocolate covered and glazed are the best ones here so far. ---- They were quick but a bit pricy because filled donuts are extra charge even when you count them as part of the "dozen"
Absolutely love this place. The doughnuts are always fresh and they are truly the best I have ever had. The ham and cheese croissants are really good too. The service is always great, very warm and welcoming, even when they are busy. Got a half dozen today and hubby got his hands one one before I could even take a picture. Lol. So yummy.
This place has delicious donuts! I?ve not tried anything else on their menu so can?t speak on those items. The fritters are fantastic, crunchy on the outside, flavorful, and moist on the inside. I'm from Ohio and for years my fianc? has been telling me how much better the donuts were in California. I thought he was a little bit crazy but upon a recent trip I was able to try one. Omg. He wasn't lying. I'll never eat another donut from my state. I went Uncle Ray's and ordered at least 35 donuts over the week. How embarrassing right? I just couldn't stop. I also ate the egg & cheese sandwich and it was amazing too.
This is my fourth time here, and I must say, the food is absolutely delicious! The ham croissant is the best I've ever had, and the iced coffee is incredibly refreshing. The donuts are some of the best in Yucaipa. This place has truly become my go to spot
My family & I have been going to this donut shop for a year now, almost weekly because we?d stop there for a ham & cheese for our son before he went to school. Well today, one of the ham & cheese we ordered didn?t have the cheese. We went back & my husband and went to ask them if they could give him another one of his money back. They refused to do it. UPDATE: Finally got to try their donuts and, wow, they are delicious. Perhaps the first 2 times I tried to go there before during their open hours and having them closed were just random situations? There's a few doughnut shops around the Yucaipa/Calimesa area and I find myself coming back to this shop more and more. Doughnuts are great, of course, but the service is lovely. Good people. In addition to doughnuts, they have a variety of breakfast sandwiches available. If you're a bit further away to Manna Donuts than this shop, this is where you should get your doughnuts.

A family run spot, been here for years. A local early morning hangout for all the old timers of the region...try the ham n cheese croissant..hot or cold, with or without jalapeno. Also the cream puffs are to die for! The family that run it are always so cheerful and nice, the lady always has a nice word and pretty smile to send with your donuts I HIGHLY RECOMMEND uncle Ray's, you will enjoy the people and the food!

I usually get donuts and/or a ham & cheese croissant from Donuts Hut on Calimesa Blvd, but I wanted to try something new and went to Uncle Ray's. The ladies were in a bad mood, I think... I was charged a dollar for using a card when I bought a ham, egg and cheese croissant, which came to $6. And I would put $20 on my guess that that croissant was bought at Stater Bros. I know how those ones taste. It wasn't a disgusting sandwich, but it was only "fine," and for the price and the attitude, I won't be wasting

Uncle Rays is a Yucaipa classic spot! It?s been around forever and the people in their remember me and my 3 year old whenever we go in. I don?t go anywhere else in Yucaipa now.
