Twister Donuts

This was my first time here, and I came on a very hard day after a difficult life event. Tony helped me and was so sweet and so patient. He answered all my questions and got me some amazing donuts! I'm not from WA, and coming here felt like going to my small town bakery at home. Thank you for making a hard day better, Tony. You didnt know I'd just lost my job today, and you were so wonderful. The donuts are amazing but the prices have increased to an outrageous level. Their online menu shows fruit fritters at $1.99, in-store they are about $3.80 each. The specialty fritters are listed online at $3.99 but in-store they are about $5.50 each, and of course they prompt you for a tip at check out.

I am impressed by the freshness and quality, but I am even more impressed by how nice the people are every time we come here. The donuts are delicious! The service is wonderful. I look forward to bringing my kids here again and again ??

I?ve been here a couple times, and I am impressed with the donuts. I went again recently, and tried the apple fritter and the glaze. In my opinion, those are the two most important representations of a place?s donuts. Both of these donuts were five star. I?ve included pictures of them. I went early in the morning, so they were fresh and really were great examples. The atmosphere is OK for a donut shop, not cozy enough for me. They have been excellent in the past but today, on a Saturday morning, I got a $15 box of what appears to be at least yesterday?s donuts. Not sure if this was a mistake as they have been fresh in the past. Stale and dry all so not driving across town for them anymore. If I?m willing to pay top dollar for a pastry I don?t think it?s too much to ask to have it made the same day at least. Sad.

We bought some "Puffies" which are essentially puffs with custard in the center. They were very hard and very stale. Those things were not fresh. Can tell they've been sitting in that display case for days. Inedible. Keep in mind we got these first thing in the morning right when they opened. Check the video. Lady at the counter was nice and the service was fast.

I'm not a big fan of donuts and I should disclose that upfront. I got these donuts for several people. I think they were about average donuts. I did see tamales ?? on the menu and after talking to the person working there, they are very proud of their tamales. I plan to return to try them. I would not return for donuts.

Best donuts in Washington. Around the clock assortment and specialty donuts. Breakfast and lunch type items on the menu, plus good coffee. This time I got Lemon filled (a favorite) and Blackberry filled (something new) Plus some other items shown in pictures; all of it was great and freash. The staff are very friendly and the shop is clean with seating inside and outside. There is a drive-thru and don't forget to check out the Dahlias outside. ??

One of the last family-owned donut shops in the area. A great place to get some wonderful treats including ice cream! Thank you tony!

I stopped getting apple fritters because somewhere along the past few years nobody seems to make them the right way - hard and crispy on the outside and soft and chewy fluffiness on the inside. This place has single handedly restored my faith in humanity simply because of their apple fritter! Absolute perfection Their cream puffs were also AMAZING And from what I could tell by looking at the other donuts I ordered for my kids, those looked and felt like they were equally as delicious.

This is a great little place to set your troubles aside when your computer and your car both have to go into the shop in the same week!! Discovered this donut shop just driving by on a Sunday morning. Lots of donut options along with other items such as breakfast sandwiches, tamales, and beverages. The delicious fritters were our favorite! Very clean inside, and staff was very nice and gave us a free donut since it was our first time there! Will be going back again for more sweet treats!

Did a big order for National Doughnut Day. Called ahead and I was in and out in about 5 minutes. Very reasonably priced, the staff is very friendly, and the doughnuts are great. The fritters are good, but they?re huge and really rich?one is usually more than enough. They also offer a 10% Veterans discount.

Stopped in here from out of town, and I'm very glad we did. We were a little concerned because it was after 6pm. Most pastry shops have limited flavors, or old leftovers by this time. They have a tremendous amount of fritter flavors. The strawberry-rhubarb was out, but the peach was still warm. We got a few different flavors of fritters and various others. So far, everything is fresh, and tastes absolutely scrumptious. My daughter says 6 out of 5 stars.

I don?t purchase doughnuts often, but when I do this is my go to place. Lots of variety and always fresh. Staff is always pleasant and helpful.

Donuts were a 1. Service a 5. Donut selection was great. Hubby and I could only eat a few donuts before we felt really heavy and kind of sick. We ended up throwing our fritters away. Which is a huge thing for us, because my hubby is crazy for donuts. We think this batch that we bought soaked up to much oil and it was so heavy with oil that it dripped. These are the best donuts I've had since I left Texas! And that is saying something for me. The place is very accessible, good parking and ramp, low counter. Guy was super nice. The donuts were SO GOOD And they have every type of fritter imaginable.

Twister Donuts is one of the most mouth watering tongue tantalizing experiences you can have in Olympia. The owners are absolutely amazing and made flautas fresh on the spot for me. Highly reccomend them.

A family favorite. We love the huge fritters the most. And definitely try a flauta!

Easily the number one donut joint in Olympia. I always get the apple fritter, but I've been told the other fruit ones are just as good. The coffee isn't all that good, but it's good for washing down the donuts though. They use real bacon on the donuts which is a nice touch. Some people say they are overly sweet, but come on we're talking donuts here.

These donuts are phenomenal - fresh, creative, and delicious! The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. We got cream cheese fritters and Bavarian cream which melt in your mouth. Hands down one of the best donuts I?ve ever had in my life. If you?re craving donuts, this is the place to go!

It was absolutely delicious. We had the super dozen, a flauta, and half a dozen donut holes. Came out to $18 for a lot of food. Donuts are soft and amazing. Loved it!

I love this drive thru on my way to work. A great place to get fresh donuts for my students on the way to school. They always accommodate my request for no peanuts (due to student allergies) and my students always love the selection!

Amazing selection and delicious. They have all the classics and much more. Their variety of fritters are all good, apple, lemon, blackberry, strawberry-rhubarb? My personal favorite is their cream filled. The donut is soft and has just the right amount of sweetness. Their donuts at opening are fresh, and they don?t try to pass day-olds off as they open.

Wow! A great place for donuts. I realize people can get picky when it comes to their donut shops, but I really like this place! I'm personally a fan of the Apple Fritter. So it was a nice surprise when I walked in to find they have over 7 different kinds of fritters! I tried their apple and another one, and they were both fantastic. A friend got their Bacon Maple Bar and he enjoyed that also. I'll be back!

Rockin' menu... The lemon filled are the best I've had... And anything with bacon is nice, but a maple bacon donuts?! Absolutely delightful!!! Refreshing atmosphere from your coffee shop or drive thru. Very comfortable and correct service at a fair price.

We bought one of the specials for a friend's daughters softball team and they were a hit. I personally had a fritter and it was one of the best I have ever had. It was so delicious and just the right amount of crispness and light and just the best. So flavorful and fresh tasting. It literally melted in my mouth

Best donuts! Celebrate National Donut Day! June 7th! Twister donuts has some of the best donuts and food! I really like all their fritters my favorite is the pineapple and the original glazed donuts. Either way, you can't go wrong. The new Mochi donut is awesome! It's a great addition to their already great variety! The ice cream is good too! My son likes to have a scoop of ice cream but I prefer the donuts! Remember to support local businesses! What's your favorite?

Delicious! We came one time, for a bacon maple bar, and all they had left was a ham and cheese stuffed bacon maple bar, so we gave it a shot. One of the best donuts I've ever had!! Hubby likes the tamales. Fast and convenient drive through too. Great little place.

Got charged 25 extra dollars on my credit card. Slight hassle getting my money back from the young lady at the register. I also felt that the tamales I purchased were very plain and not flavorful in the meat department at all. This was unfortunate because I had purchased them as a treat for my husband. Twister has the best donuts in town. The owner is a fantastic guy. Very friendly and helpful. Some creative flovors, other options besides donuts, and they even have a huge, 22 inch donut. Highly recommend trying them out.

Love this place. They did a donut cake for our kid's birthday; 2 foot wide donut with pink frosting. Huge hit. We go every week or so. Also don't sleep on the tamales!

Best doughnuts I've ever had. My son and I decided were gonna find the best doughnuts Olympia had to offer, and we weren't disappointed. They even offered milkshakes, so after we tried out the all the doughnuts, we each tried a milkshake. They were wonderful too. Couldn't reccomend this place enough. Definitely worth checking out anytime you're in the area.

Love their donuts. The variety is great. They're donuts always taste fresh and delicious. They also sell breakfast sandwiches and tamales which are just so good. For a limited time they even had sweet tamales which are hard to find especially be with such a balanced flavor.

The donuts here are pretty good, especially when fresh. They have a pretty decent selection, with all of the usual types (cake, sprinkles, jelly, maple, buttermilk) and a few attempts at gourmet donuts that I haven't tried yet. The donuts are without saying the best airy delicious ones I have ever tasted. I drive in from Shelton to buy and enjoy them! They also have pork and chicken tamales for the season.... they are delicious and full of meat. They are without any spicy sauce.. you can add your own as a topping if desired. Tried this place at random and we fell in love. So many different delicious donuts, this time around we stuck to simple and got glazed/frosted and they were amazing. We will be back soon. They also have a drive-thru which is also a nice feature.

The donuts here are amazing, especially the fruit fritters. The owners are super nice. I don't buy donuts very often but will go here every time I do. Note they charge a credit card fee so take cash if you don't want to pay that.

Best donut I have eaten. At 12:30 in the afternoon they were still light, delicate, and had no greasy taste. First we tried a bacon maple bar. Wow. Just enough bacon that it stayed put instead of falling on floor. It was melt in your mouth, perfect and not too sweet. Next we tried an apple fritter. The best donuts I've had in Olympia. The maple bacon fritter has an apple pie filling and it is to die for. The inside is soft and delicate while the outside is perfectly crispy. Large selection of fruit fritters. Tamales and creampuffs are tasty too. That is to say... you can't go wrong here!

Great customer service. Drive thru purchase, cashier was super friendly. I believe he's the owner or one of the owners. Delicious donuts and a large variety. They also offer breakfast sandwiches. This is a great local donut shop/bakery with very reasonable prices and good food. The coffee is good and cheap, too. My only complaint is their breakfast sandwiches - but they specialize in tamales and some other amazing Hispanic food so I would just avoid those and have one of the other delicious things they serve.

I thoroughly enjoyed the donut I had here. Strawberry rhubarb fritter is heavenly. Pick your poison as they're all good. The owner spoke with me outside and thanked me for choosing his shop. Great service and friendly staff. 10/10 donut shop.

Heard about this place from a friend, definitely not disappointed. Easy to find, location is clean and welcoming, prices are reasonable. But really, it's about the donuts. So tasty, my partner was so psyched to see they offer flautas with various fillings as well. Definitely somewhere I will be coming back to.

Donuts are pretty tasty, just a tad undercooked and too soft. Unfortunately I got to see the worker handle cash then immediately handle donuts for the next customer without washing. Don?t eat here if you?re trying to avoid food poisoning.

The donuts were really good! They are soft so if you like a fried, crunchy donut you might not like these. I ate a banana fritter and it was delicious! The creme flauta.was really good too. Prices were decent for what you get, flauta was about $1 and the fritters were bout $2, with stuffed ones and fritters of all flavors you will not be disappointed! Very friendly worker inside greeted me and help pick what I wanted. I can't wait to stay in the area again and visit for more fritters. I didn't give 5 star

Fresh and delicious! I love the cream filled beignets, buttermilk bars and holiday sprinkles...I haven't tried the breakfast pastry yet, but it's on my list. Overall, a really good doughnut at a great price.

First time visitor with high expectations and happily surprised at the variety of fritters indeed several fruit flavored choices including rhubarb. Granted these were "flavors" with no real solid pieces of fruits like say apple fritter but it was worth at least trying. I looked forward to the cherry fritter, but found not one cherry but instead a light "red" filling. Same was true for the blackberry and lemon. While the cinnamon roll was large and flavorful. The bars were a bit drier than usual. Also, prices have REALLY gone up. I don't recommend getting the croissant with egg and sausage. For $9 it was not good at all.
