Been wanting to try at this place for a while and I?m so glad I did. They have a couple of vegan options available daily! The guava doughnut was delicious and is one of my favourite doughnuts now, it has the right balance of sweetness and softness/chewiness, the cinnamon one was pretty good as well. Will be back to try other flavors. Friendly staff too!
The donut was really good, but if you want to get the mochi style, it is only serve on Friday to Sunday. Also need to spend over five then you can use credit card, otherwise you should use the cash.
Went from Spain to sf in a happy trip and always loved to breakfast here. Ambience was fascinating and donuts were always incredibly delicious.
I?m sad to say that the donuts on Thursday morning were disappointing. And I wish I didn?t have to leave anything less than 5 stars. See photo attached. The apple fritter was okay, not my favorite. The two filled donuts (raspberry and blueberry) were just okay. It tasted like one of the boxed ?pies? you bought at a Safeway store. Nothing thrilled me about this. The maple glazed donut was also just okay, no great takeaways from this item. The only donut I recommend out of what I got was the blueberry don
It's surprisingly hard to find good vegan / dairy free donuts in SF. This place has a selection and they are fantastic. Not overly sweet, soft inside and a bit crispy outside. Sometimes I feel a little off after eating fried food but these things felt decently healthy. I mean, it's still a donut, but maybe they use good oil or other ingredients. I brought them to a party and my friend said they were "gourmet". Hope these folks sell a lot of them and have success.
Have been getting coffee and donuts from Twisted since they started. Great food. Even better people working there. Always helpful and friendly. The owners Paul and Joyce are the best. Awesome place. Great donuts like their maple bacon. And outstanding specialty donuts like the PB&J or the Fruitirito! My wife love their cream puffs!
The guys behind the counter are great! The guava vegan donut was everything for me. So perfect. Texture of the donut and the barely starting to crisp icing that is sweet and the perfect amount of guava flavor and a snip of citrus perfection. I couldn't get a photo of it uneaten, too delicious.
I'm glad Twisted Coffee and Donuts is not near my ??. Otherwise, it would be hard for me from going several times a week! I ordered a few donut and a cream puff. The cream puff w/ Bavarian cream was very delicious! The coconut ??raised Guava was my favorite and is offered only on the weekends. As a matter of fact, I don't remember ever eating a Guava flavored donut anywhere else! I pre-ordered on their website online and they text you once it is ready at your specified time for pick up. Social dista
This place is donut heaven. Clean workplace and great costumer service. They have all kinds of donuts and all of them taste delicious. This is a great option if you like mochi donuts and your friends don't. I have to admit that I ended up in this place because I was going to get coffee across the street but the place was closed. Im glad that happened! I have to say that the coffee is not the best(not bad tho) but as you noticed the main thing about the place are the donuts. I'll be coming back to get more d
The staff here is amazingly friendly. I loved Jenny! Smiles and good energy. The donuts are amazing. Whenever I visit a new place, I find legit donuts. These donuts are legit; both the raised and the cake kind!
What a super yummy donut place! If you never try Mochi donuts yet. This is the place to try them out. I love their ube Mochi donuts, they are so light but at the same time so flavorful. They are also not too sweet. By the way, their cream puffs are super super delicious as well. You have to check out this donut spot!
Donuts: 4/5 Service: 5/5 Ambiance: 3/5 Overall: A good option for some more unique flavors. Yummy! The extended review... Donuts: Churro De Leche - 4/5 - This was a very interesting selection. A donut with cinnamon sugar and sliced in half with some dolce spread in between the two halves. A nice rendition of a churro for sure. Lemon Blueberry Buttermilk - 4/5 - Can?t go wrong with a nice buttermilk. It had a nice crispy exterior and soft interior. Quite a nice compliment of flavors as well. Black
Best donuts I?ve had in the city so far: not too sweet, not too dense, just perfect. Lots of great choices, delicious donuts, super friendly staff, and surprisingly good espresso - what more can you want from a donut place??
They have the most fresh and fluffy donuts. And very diverse flavors ( from bacon to raspberry, lemon, blueberry). For a long time our favorite was raspberry one, but now they have guava one, which is very easy and low sugar one. Just get in there before 11:30 if you want to get some flavor, because they make certain quantity and run out by then.
Twisted Donuts is the perfect addition to our little Sunset neighborhood. it is tucked conveniently off of 19th Ave and basically within walking or rolling distance of the bus. no Ada parking but it is a very high traffic area, so people are coming and going all the time, if you need a parking space. the donuts are top-notch and I don't know if things have changed but it seems like when they started, they basically made donuts twice a day and when they run out they close. so if you want your Maple donut wit
This is the best donut shop in SF. Come on you know you love Dunkin Donuts and Pizza. This place has the best donut I ever had. A bacon covered caramel donut. Enjoy honey!
Really liked the selection and the staff honestly seemed concerned with provided good recommendations based off our preferences. I had the lemon/blueberry and coconut cake donuts while my friend got two vegan donuts. Went great with home roasters across the street and tasted super fresh. Very pleased!
Trying to support local businesses during this time. I?ve tried their guava coconut donuts (weekends only) as well as their vegan guava and vegan lemon (pictured here). They are all really good. But if the vegan guava tastes this good, I don?t think I will go back to getting non-vegan donuts. I always get a small hazelnut coffee with cream/sugar and it is always made with the perfect amount of cream/sugar/coffee ratio. They have contactless payment as well and I believe you can order ahead.
Always has great donuts with unique flavors. Prefer cash
OMG their weekend specials are amazing!!!! They had bacon maple and jalape?o... my daughter loved the classic doughnut holes with sprinkles... but mine by far where best!! the cream puffs!!, they are like beignets filled with scruptuos cream, delicious and almost melted in my mouth!! A quick tip: check their website before going and you can see when a fresh batch is coming out for everything, plus go early as there is more variety!! Update!! they just added cream puffs with bavarian cream!! And still only
Their donuts are fantastic, weekend specials are worth the wait but wish they were always around. Their safety protocols are top notch. Love coming here when I have the opportunity, if you do don't miss out. Tried the ube this time as well as the staple of the maple bacon and guava cocobut, did not disappoint, they never do.
This is a really nice cozy donut shop. I?ve been to quite few few donuts and this is definitely up there for how they are made. My daughter had this blueberry one and I had the cinnamon croissant. Both were great!
First time coming here! I rarely come to Noriega & the few times i have i?ve never seen this donut shop(i ask one of the employees how many years they?ve been open, & to my surprise they been in business for 6 years!!!, I?ve been missing out on some really good donuts!) Tried their Weds. Special PB&J Donut. Loved it! Tasted fresh!!! First time trying a donut with PB&J filling!!!Gotta come back & try their other donuts some other day! Highly recommend if your in the neighborhood on Weds. get their PB&J donut
Great maple bacon donut. If I?m picking nits, the bacon could?ve been a bit more? lively.
Donuts galore and ice coffee with coffee ice cubes. Wooo! Delicious! Come here for their weekend specials that combine a little magic, a little love, and a lot of SUGAR!
Friendly and fast service. They accommodated a special order that I requested over email for two jumbo donuts for my son?s birthday and they turned out great! My son loved it! I also ordered an assortment, fresh and yummy.
Best maple bacon donut I?ve ever tasted and awesome customer service. Jenny is so sweet and nice. We went back for a second donut same day ????
I was getting some car repairs and walked over to have a grab a coffee and it was super clean and inviting .The front counter guy and staff are super nice super the donuts tasted so fresh and good. It was such a good atmosphere I enjoyed my coffee and donut while I waited?thank you A MUST TRY!!
Donuts here are delicious and local! I especially like the maple old fashioned and apple fritters. On weekends there may be more special donuts like maple bacon, s'mores, etc. The staff is quite friendly. Just be sure to get here before the closing time!
Solid donuts and great selection. Very pleasant guys working here serving some tasty donuts. Took home a dozen for the family. Simple glazed "raised" donuts are classic and perfectly executed, light, fluffy, sugary goodness. Blueberry buttermilk bar was one of the best buttermilk bars I've had. Maple glazed and maple glazed with bacon were both good, but I've had other bacon donuts with better bacon (either bits of bacon or candied which took the treat to another level, so probably wouldn't get the maple b
The doughnuts here are so creative and just make you happy. They do have a small selection of stuffed croissants in the morning, but they sell out fast Turkey, Jalapeno with cheddar is a favorite.
One of the best donuts I?ve ever had. I got the vegan guava frosted cake donut and shared it with my husband (who never likes donuts) and he said it was the best, most refreshing donut he?s ever had. The jalape?o cheese croissant was amazing. The plain croissant was amazing too. It was so fresh and buttery. The employees were also so friendly and attentive. All around I would definitely recommend this place to everyone.
I went on a Sunday morning. I asked for a dozen assorted donuts and did not care what kind they were. When I got home they were great. My family loved the donuts. But, when I arrived, there were two people working behind the counter. One looked like a manager. The tall cashier person was not to enthusiastic about working there. He sounded very depressed like he did not care about anything. He did his job and that was it. The vibe he had made ordering the donuts a downer for me. Maybe just having a neutral
I love this place ... Amazing dounts and Super Varieties ... Jenny is Awesone and So Lovely
Super Friendly & Helpful service! Ridiculously Amazing & Delicious donut art work, PERFECT for a birthday morning celebration, thank you???????
Very friendly staff! I got a coffee and a maple bacon donut. Nice and simple.
Great customer service! Had the opportunity to meet Jenny. Great customer service skills and very personal. I'm retired from HSBC Bank and was VP of Commercial/Residential lending. Had 350 employees, 10 Managers, 4 District Managers. The reason I mention this ,customer service was our number 1 priority. It's very difficulty to find good employees with excellent customer service skills.Donuts are exceptional and especially the Warriors Donuts. I'm a season ticket holder and I love the concept of a Golden Sta
I?ve been going here for a while and I just realized I?ve never left a review! This place is amazing! The donuts are great and the coffee is always delicious, they are accommodating for people with allergies and dietary restrictions, they have donuts that are unique and the staff is always friendly even early in the mornings. I recommend this place to everyone I meet who?s in the city and even visiting, I love that it?s close to school and home and I hope they expand so other people can get a glimpse at thi
Very friendly staff and delicious donuts.
This place is really legit. You will pay a bit more but unlike most other donut places in SF you will not feel awful eating at Twisted Donuts. The owner was telling me they use a different type of oil for frying and also change the oil much more frequently than typical and cheaper places. Definitely worth the extra few cents and have a great variety of traditional and hipster donuts.
I haven't been here for many years ever since I moved out of San Francisco. The guy who helped me was super nice by throwing in a free old fashioned donut with my order for my favorite maple bacon donuts! Reminded me of the older couple who always gave me some free donut holes. Twisted donut is a must stop if you're in the area and help support local businesses!
Love the donuts here. Tried a random selection of donuts through Too Good to Go, and it let me discover donuts that I typically would not order. They all tasted great and I will definitely be back!
You can find the specialty donuts if you are here early in the day. Unfortunately, they are just mediocre. On the pricey end but the staff are usually friendly. I've been here a few times to get their dozen deal, but I probably won't go back unless I'm dying for some excess calories in the morning and I happen to be passing by. But please take my opinion with a grain of salt since I've tried the best donuts from Portland, Chicago, and SF.
I'm a donut connoisseur and this place is above average. They do some creative versions of donuts but that's not a fool proof way to impress me. I'm a man of perfecting the basics, then building off that foundation. I think they need to do the basics better to be a 5 star spot. I'll admit the place is clean, coffee was fresh, and the staff are all super friendly. Try it for yourself.
Really, really good donuts! They get the "cake" part of the donut just right. Light and dense at the same time, without all the oil that makes other donuts too heavy or greasy. We went there for the first time on a whim but will definitely be coming back intentionally often for our donut fix. And the service is wonderful too!
My favorite local donut shop out here in the Sunset! I'm closer to a different one but I make an effort to go here because the donuts are better made, isn't super crowded, shop is kept very clean, and the customer service is so nice. Quantity isn't as big as Uncle Benny's but I think the quality is better. On weekends there are special flavors like ube and matcha worth a try.
it was just a quick in and out visit my girlfriend and i got two vegan donuts and some coffee. The staff was friendly and greeted us with a smile and the donuts were delicious. If you get here early enough to get the good stuff i would recommend stopping by!
This is a great little donut shop. They have a variety of different coffee and donuts and for a reasonable price. But the customer service is really what made me right this review; I assume she?s the shop owner, she is kind, friendly and welcoming and knows all the locals who come in. There aren?t a lot of places nearby like this, worth the stop!
I had the pleasure of dropping by on Sunday 7/17/22 and got a chance to try out their double sided glaze + chocolate dipped donuts, old fashioned and Ube donuts with coconut flakes! I enjoyed all of it! Keep up the great work!
I got the glazed blueberry donut because that was the only "different" kind of donut that was left. Apparently, the other donuts was sold out. The donut cost $1.25. The blueberry donut was not sweet which I enjoyed. The lady who was there was extremely sweet. She also gave me with my blueberry donut, the only donut hole left. Freebie! Score!
A great new addition to the Sunset. Their donuts are very fresh and not too heavy. I highly recommend the bacon maple and lemon glaze. The owners are also very friendly which is a big plus.
My only critique is that there should be a way to leave a tip on credit card payments. The two guys working this morning (9:30am, 12/31) were very friendly and welcoming. Next time i will bring cash for a tip. Thanks. Happy new year!
THIS place right here. THIS PLACE is special. Not only are the donuts beautiful and delicious, the service friendly (as if you were at home in someone else's house), and the smell - scrumptious, the PRICE is ridiculously affordable. Grab a donut at some other coffee shop and expect to pay at least $4.50. Call me an oblivious San Franciscan but it?s the way it is. I was shocked when my little sprinkled donut was only $1.50!!! I mean - I'll take a bakers dozen... x2. Thanks.
Not bad, but not as exciting as I was hoping. Perhaps I arrived too late in the day for the good stuff. Guava coconut raised donut was pretty good, but next time: hard pass on the fruirritos (not worth the calories).
Like, the coolest donut shop I've been to. Great service. Clean. Atmosphere. Good donuts, of course. $7 credit card minimum is kind of steep, but at least they were laxed about it.
Fun, unique, and delicious flavors mixed with classics. Donuts are impressively airy inside. Customer service was SUPER nice. Will be going back!
The donuts might look good... But they lack any soul. Their spiritual predecessor is likely a lie budget Krispy Kreme. Bland, unchewy dough. Excessive sweet glaze to make up for lack of dough taste. Apple fritter was pure glaze. Chocolate frosted had no taste. Glazed was meh at best. Old fashioned was OK. Peanut butter and jelly was actually tasty. Would not get donuts here again. Ingredients and style are amature. People are friendly though?
Great variety and quality but above and beyond the staff elevates this place. Their friendly, can make great recommendations, and they have a great blueberry batter you should definitely try.
Simply the best donuts around, both for the inventive as well as the traditional ones. The flavors are well balanced and light. Also the folks who are behind the counter are great
Bacon doughnuts invade the sunset district! And I like it. Let them claim me as a prisoner. I'm ok with it. The owner apparently grew up in a donut shop in socal. He must've learned something right. They really do kind of remind me of the donut shops down there. Good and light and fluffy and good combinations. Like bacon and maple and jalapeno. A welcomed addition to the sunset.
Really good specialty donuts. All of them were top notch and worth getting again.
They keep it simple, except when they don't. And it's delicious always.
4 kinds of vegan donuts. Took advanced orders. Might give a better price point on buying a dozen donuts instead of still paying as it I bought singles.
The staff is always super excited to greet you and they use a loyalty program that doesn't require you to keep a goofy piece of paper with holes punched in it. The jalapeno breakfast croissant is delish.
I love this place! Orange glazed, maple w/bacon, & the cheese jalape?o & ham croissant, are all fantastic. Very clean, which I greatly appreciate.
SUCH nice staff - also, huge perk: the ice in the iced coffee is actually cubes of frozen coffee. This place may be partially the reason for my physician's concern over my caffeine intake, but #noregrets, right?
This place was a serious bummer. I was hoping for creative doughnuts, and these doughnuts app looked the same, save the frosting on top or what might be inside. Even the coffee options were disappointing. I tried something and don't even remember. If your looking for something like Voodoo (Portland) or Strange Doughnuts (St Louis) you're going to be bummed as well.
I'm so disappointed. They were way over sweet for my taste, and they were tough and very chewy. I must have gone a very bad day.
Great tasting donuts and great service. Parking is a bit difficult here but hey no knock on those delicious donuts.
Great local coffee shop. I recommend the old fashioned cake style Donuts they are delicious. The croissant breakfast sandwiches also are phenomenal.
Customer service was great. The donuts were all delicious and fresh. Highly recommend for a simple local donut joint
Slow love this place but please please get more staff in the mornings. One person making coffee and selling donuts is not enough!!! I?m sure you?d make more money if you had one additional staff member.
Happen to try this place and ordered the glaze stuffed blueberry and it is now my fav! Didnt knw they had so ma y other flavors until I looked them up! Now I have to try more!
Bad customer service from the owner. Go support Donut World, Mochill, Sam?s Bakery, Bob?s Donuts, California Bakery or even safeway is worth not dealing with the poor service from this place.
Love this place, I used to go here every morning when I worked in the area! Loved the peanut butter and jelly donuts!
Great donuts, super friendly staff. Also really creative specials - my kid is constantly asking for the Cookie Monster.
Friendly, good cinnamon twist, cold milk. I appreciate that they sold out of most things. I don't want to pay for their daily unsold inventory
Owned by some of the nicest people. Constantly giving customers extra donuts "just because". Jalape?o maple bacon bar is great.
This place is the best!! The people working there are so nice, and the donuts are amazing!! Definitely recommend stopping by if you get a chance!
Had the dark roast coffee, glazed croissant and blueberry cake donuts, and a cream puff. All were excellent!
Incredibly welcoming and kind staff and great donuts!
Incredible! All their donuts are amazing, plus if you aren't in the mood for donuts they have good drinks.
A fan of the orange cream doughnut. The guava was good too. Make sure to spend over $5 if you don't have cash on you.
Visiting from so cal and had an early drive. These donuts were booooom, Bought a dozen (well 11) but they were a really good treat :)
Hella delicious donuts. Overly friendly staff. Get the mochi donut- you will not regret it (if it?s not already sold out lol)
This place has good donuts with the stereotypical appropriated "creativeness" you'd expect from something like Voodoo without any real originality of its own. The service was fast and friendly, though.
The coffee is on point at this place!! How many places do you know that provide ice cubes that are made of coffee!?! Not to mention the donuts are freshly baked and they got specialty ones on the weekends!
Has great donut flavors and styles. Always delicious (always end up eating too many).
