Town Donut & Breakfast Covington

Unassuming little donut shop. Apple fritter the size of my head, so crisp and moist and cinnamony delicious. Sausage egg and cheese biscuit was also delicious. Reasonable prices, excellent staff.

What can I say? Town Donuts are wonderful, I always enjoy my experience. I'm a sucker for the plain croissants and cinnamon rolls. The level of customer service is always great, I especially like that they have a drive-thru. Always recommend to family and friend.

Fantastic donuts. Nice people. Terribly slow service. Very difficult when you have kids in tow. Not sure I will be back.

Use the drive thru so not really any atmosphere, but the kolachies are very good, make sure to try the boudin

Slow service. Took over 45 minutes to get donuts in the drive through. They were out of half of their inventory and served us sloppy donuts after waiting almost an hour.

Listen i love the kolaches here, i often stop to get the boudin one but this time they ran out. I then ordered a smoked sausage kolache and when i was almost finished eating it i noticed a little blue in it? unsure of what i was looking at i pulled it out and its plastic. How much plastic did i eat? Who knows but i wont be eating here again if they cant keep the food safe from plastics.

I use to like stopping by but after this morning I won?t be back again. I asked for a half of dozen, 3 chocolate and 3 glaze. Told I had to wait for the glazed which I did. 10mins later a box was brought to me, I get to work to open this mess. Please don?t sell your chocolate donuts if they are not ready (ready means chocolate has cooled). A waste of money! In the trash they went!

These 'full size' donuts are cute and tiny. They taste like you'd expect, but they are literally 2 bites each. I can put 4 of them on a $20 bill. To say they are 3" diameter would be generous.

Absolutely, THE BEST sweet treat place around!! Consistently Delicious & crazy convenient with the drive thru! Boudin kolaches are the best gift you could give your taste buds! Donuts are always perfectly fresh. Any of the filled ?? get filled when you order your flavor....& Just discovered today= the adorable assortment of flavored milk!! They're like a cherry on top of a cake (blueberry cake donuts here are super yummy too)!

I went in and ordered a massive Apple fritter. It was soft and crunchy and filled with apples. It was the best Apple fritter that I've ever had. I need to go back everyday until I can't fit through their door, then I'll go through the drive thru!!

It was my first time here.I like to wait for a place to be established b4 i visit. Staff said its been 5yrs noe. Place was very clean and I was helped right away. They also have a drive-thru. I got a sausage egg and cheese croissant and 2 dz donut holes. You can tell that everything is made in house and was fresh. Koloche and croissant sandwich were the perfect ratio of bread to fillings and even an hour before closing my blueberry donut was still so soft and pillowy and not super sweet just how I like them

The donuts are not as big as I?m use to, the apple fritter are good but to me a little over cooked, I like the edges crunchy and the middle nice and soft but these are a little to crunchy on the sides and middle. The staff is very nice, when I stop it?s about 5:30 am, and they don?t have a big selection at that time, but the apple fritter are normally done are done within 5 minutes of me ordering them. I went in to get donuts and they only had a small variety on display. I assumed the menu was on the tvs that were off so I had to ask to get some of the more premium donuts. I also got a kolache and it looked nice and fresh but when I asked for one the employee proceeded to throw it in a paper bag and toss it in the microwave. I understand wanting to serve hot food but it really set low expectations

I used to love going to Town Donut, but today was my last visit. Their donuts, in my opinion, are the best in the area, but their service SUCKS. I waited 25 minutes in line to find out they only had one glazed cake left, a VERY basic donut. There are only two people working the counter and I imagine only one person making the donuts in the back. They?re spending at least 5 minutes on each customer. This visit was just not worth the wait this morning.

I got 6 glazed donuts from here to go and they were much smaller than I had expected. I also had to microwave the glazed donuts when I got home, bc they were cold, but they were still good warmed up. The two eclairs that I got were also very small and cold, but they're usually not hot anyway. The kolaches were more like pigs in a blanket and not really that amazing. They were also out of apple fritters which was disappointing, but over all an okay breakfast place.

Very hit or miss? the donuts, when you can get them are great, but the wait is crazy long. There is typically one person working the drive up and one working the counter. We waited in the drive up for 45 minutes last week and when we got up to the window, they had no donuts and said it would be at least a 15 minute wait. The previous time we went, we went inside and waited in line for 30 minutes before getting to the counter. Very, very slow service.

This place can be awesome but alot of times it's hit and miss. The service is usually very long as they don't have enough workers to meet the demand. The food is awesome. The donuts, kolachies, croissants, biscuits and a MUST HAVE APPLE FRIDDERS! Always bring cash because, it's kind of rude to put off small business cost on customers but they do. If you use your card they charge you the charge fee of 3% added to your already bill. Cash only unless you don't mind paying price,plus tax plus their card fee the

We only get pastries here, such as donuts, fritters, etc. The apple fritters are the biggest I have ever seen, and they are delicious. Everything is fresh 'cause it sells out so fast it doesn't have time to get cold or stale ??. I highly recommend this place.

For my first time going here, I have to say the drive thru service was friendly and joyful. I loved the fluffy lightness of the glazed donuts I purchased. I also got the bacon and egg burritos and loved the flavor and crispy crunch of the bacon. It is a stop all must go to.

Been there before when we came this time we were both starting a flexitarian diet and we ordered breakfast burritos with just eggs and cheese received them and the eggs were cold and they did not have cheese. The staff was really friendly and eager to help I just think that they didn't understand what we had said in our order and it was really simple that was the only thing it was on there. They are good kind ppl who work there tho the older lady and the younger lady.

I love this little donut shop. The donuts are delicious and the stay fresh for days. I love the sausage egg and cheese biscuits. I always get one or two when I get donuts. The staff is friendly and anxious to serve their customers.

I went here for my birthday. This place is a amazing donut shop. Their donuts are fresh and delicious. I love their sprinkle donuts. I also got a filled strawberry donut and they filled it right in front of me.

We arrived late, they had already cleaned the tables, chairs and floors cleaned. But being the end of the day didn't have a huge selection as should be expected. But we grabbed some sausage kaloches!! And they were great and he was very accommodating!! We WILL be back!!!

I'm so glad I limited myself to just two glazed donuts! You would have to had wheeled me out on a dolly. They were so soft and tasty, the sausage and egg biscuit was delicious as well. Definitely my favorite new donut stop!

I'm giving this Establishment one star, because they refuse to serve my two black teenage sons....my sons went in to get donut holes and was told NO they can only have one bag to share with just 6 in it...they was confused and asked why are they being treated this way? She told them its cause there wasn't enough ...But that's a lie, she was giving them to other customers that was not black. I am no longer giving them my service.

Getting hot, fresh, delicious donuts is always a plus and a good thing. If you want them then here is your place to get them. Conveniently located here in Covington. They have so many varieties of donuts to choose from, and you can't go wrong with whatever you choose.

Don't let the plain name of this place fool you. Best donuts in the world. Really tasty breakfast burritos and biscuits. Everything comes out SUPER fresh. Will make you forget Dunkin and Butter Krisp on your first bite. Just make sure they are open before you go.....M-SAT 5 AM - 1 PM SUN 5-NOON.

First time and last time I?ll return. I had to repeat my order 3 times to the lady in the drive through, and she still got my order wrong. I like that they have kolaches, but they weren?t anything to write home about. Butter Krisp is way better.

Decent selection of breakfast items and of course the donuts are great. They even have a pig in the poke/croissant. And the staff is always friendly and helpful

We get breakfast for our work crew a couple times a month for meetings. We keep coming back here because the food is so fresh, taste amazing and the staff is so very accommodating and we are always greeted with a smile.

They do not know how to or what is a cinnamon roll .Called to see if they had cinnamon rolls. Was told yes .Ordered a dozen They were like a large glazed donut :( when I opened the box at home.

Their donuts when you ask for hot glaze are really light and fluffy and they sell a variety of other things like blue berry donuts breakfast wraps and sandwiches should try them out it is a little different but in a good way

Easily some of the best donuts I've ever eaten. The boudin kolache was incredible. Only downside is you cannot get a free glass of water, bottle only.

The Apple Fritters are the best I?ve ever had! They were flaky with the right amount of crispy and even had apple chunks. I normally eat a half of an apple fritter, I at the whole thing!

This place is "LEGIT". absolutely the best kolaches outside of Houston.... the donut holes are melty pillows of sugary bliss... We drive 12 miles thru 19 street lights just to eat these donuts... must try!

I had a sausage biscuit with egg and cheese die for. The biscuit was fluffy and melts in your mouth. Also had a kolash. If you breakfast there just once, you will never go anywhere else

After moving to the North Shore, we were having trouble finding a place to get kolaches. Since finding this spot, we get kolaches and a pinecone donut every week. The kolaches are a large size and super delicious.
