Tony's Donut House

Tony's Donut House

Reviews Summary

Tony's Donuts receives mixed reviews, with many praising the fresh, tasty donuts and variety of offerings like sandwiches and boba drinks. High ratings highlight excellent customer service and quality, especially for favorites like the ham and cheese sandwich and chocolate cake donuts. However, consistent complaints cite rude staff, stale or overpriced items (like boba), and poor service when owners aren't present. While some find the donuts crispy and delicious, others criticize them for being over-fried or tasting off. Cleanliness and COVID safety are noted positives, but inconsistent attitudes from employees dampen the experience for many.

Customer Reviews

It could have been the milk, but the coffee tasted and smelled like straight vomit. It was Saturday morning around 5-5:15 a.m. Regardless, I smelled it black, and I could tell the coffee wasn't that good of quality. Donuts are good. Prices are average. I was very disappointed with the coffee. Most likely, it was spoiled milk. That shouldn't be happening. Fresh milk should be dispensed daily.

Tried 4 different donuts. All needed more icing. The chocolate old fashioned was barely iced and had several bare spots around the edges. Bummer. They were fresh though.

I recently started coming here again because years ago, it was a small donut shop that desperately needed to be remodeled. Fast forward to today, the atmosphere feels so much better and it's a totally different donut shop. The donuts here are pretty good, I've been trying to taste the boba drinks they offer and so far the Taro, Green Tea Matcha, and the Cookies and Creme boba are all worth trying. I definitely recommend this place to locals.

Just came in and got a watermelon juice and a bacon egg and cheese, I just happened to look like place up on google wow it was really good I liked it I?ll be back for sure ! Super good and it was very fast! Definitely recommend bringing my man next time

I put 4 stars because I really like this place but one of the latina ladies are rude. It could have been 5, but for a while, one of the ladies has this weird attitude towards me everytime I come over. I don?t expect people to be super nice and bubbly, but she simply has this annoyed little attitude, no matter how polite I am. She seems to have gotten worse a little over last year and still continues to have a poor attitude this year. For example, I wanted one of my breads to be warmed up, but for some reaso

Creative donute combinations. Unfortunately do not taste as good as look. All 3 donuts I tasted had crispy outter texture (from frying). My cinnamon apple square, expected "homemade-like" fruit filling but nope same sugar thick blob in the middle like the rest. Rate 2 since donuts dont live up to their price tag. Clean, offer smoothies, cold teas, subs, and breakfast burritos. Friendly staff . Depending on time of visit, parking may be a problem since only has 4 spots.

Took my family for a late night snack. I haven't been here in years. Glad to see the donuts are still delicious and reasonable priced. Plus super friendly.

Cozy, small donut shop on the corner where it is easily seen in traffic. Parking is very limited and so is the street parking. This shop offers more than donuts- you can buy smoothies, fresh orange juice, boba tea, ice cream, sandwiches, an abundance of hot food items such as rice bowls and even vegetarian curry! A dozen donuts will cost you approx $10.50.

Order a couple of donuts and a milk tea Boba, which they were good. The customer service they provided me was excellent. The place offers a great variety of sandwiches and donuts.

Love this place the donuts are really good, very clean space, the service is really good! Would recommend!

Adding new post. Got a half dozen aroung 9pm.. $7 something. Not bad for late night munchies for the family. The jelly raspberry filled donuts are the best. The dozen box am showing is $13.

This place is good and awesome donuts are good but the sandwiches have flavor out of every bite you get decided to post menu foto due to the they don't have a website so at other people could no what they sell here or what they become the first time I tried a regular sandwich but today I found they have carnitas sandwich so had to try it

Tony's is 'The House!' Every time I've come here, the donuts are fresh and the service is nice. The Maple Candy Bacon donut is Crazy Good! It's cost is at a premium (as it should be), and well worth it. If you're in the neighborhood, stop here. If not, make the trip. Your tastebuds will thank you!

Everything is 10/10 Favorites are papaya smoothie with boba, croissant sandwich and the donuts are bomb

Just bought 2 boba drinks and they were extremely sweet and the boba soggy and chewy. Somewhat taste like old boba. Not the same as I remember it. Update) 4/22/23 If I could give it a zero I would. I had to throw away the boba, and felt sick to my stomach all last night and today. I?m sorry but no. In total with me and my sister we got 4 boba drinks and no one liked theirs.

Love this donut shop, very friendly, everything is good ?? will keep coming back.

Tony's donuts were always my childhood treat in the 80s and 90s coming to visit my grandma. As an adult I can say these are the best donuts I've ever had! My favorite is the chocolate cake donut with chocolate frosting. There's a crunch to the outside of their donuts and on the inside it's super soft and moist. I even like their ring donuts and I don't really like yeast donuts but the blueberry one is amazing. Their tuna sandwich is another favorite item of mine and can easily be shared. I've tried the drin

I came in this morning (June 3, around 8:20ish) and ordered a chocolate donut and a milk coffee with boba. When I got home, I tasted the drink and turns out the cashier gave me milk tea. What sucks is that for the first time I didn?t ask for my receipt, so I doubt they will believe me if I take it back :/ It?s upsetting because I?ve been coming here for years, and we?ve had few problems with the same person. That being said, I think I?m going to avoid coming here now.

Been a customer here for 6 years. The prices seem to rise quite often. Got a natural fresh squeezed watermelon juice for $9.59. I mean I could have bought a whole watermelon and made 3-4 cups. I?m done with this place. There?s more foam than there is watermelon juice.

Always a friendly atmosphere, and the donuts, coffee, breakfast sandwiches never fail me!! Definitely highly recommend!

Incredible selection of donuts and drinks, courteous service, small parking lot; sandwiches & juices also available.

The reality is that it is pricey as compared to other donut shops. However, their boba drinks, snakes, and Specialty sandwiches are actually pretty good. People may complain about the service but it's only as good as good as you make it. I equate it to your average Yogurtland or Pinkberry.

I do like the sandwiches and the donuts but if I'm going to be tipping 15% I expect my food to be done as I wanted. I ordered a sandwich with no mayo and other things but the girl there today couldn't even follow that. To top it off, she almost forgot to make the iced coffee I ordered. There was no one else there, it's not like it was busy.

This is usually my favorite place for thai tea w/ boba. However, I went on Wednesday around 12 pm and my boba was extremely hard and the tea had an awful taste. I didn?t try it then and there but arrived to work my break was over. I called them around 5:30pm and they simply said there was nothing they can do. I paid $20 fot two drinks which I never mind paying. Been coming here for years, won?t be going back.

Went in for a donut for my wife and I but because we didn?t spend $5 we couldn?t use our card. Our total was $4.30 and they wouldn?t let us buy a donut. Absolutely ridiculous. The lady was working tonight 11/19/24 at 9:50 pm.

Honestly like the drinks they serve also the sandwiches but everything is way over priced I was charged 10 dollars for a large Thai tea and one glazed donut wich I think is robbery till this point like they should have consideration that they are located in a low income community Huntington Park has a middle class community but also a low income as well and the price la they have is way to high I?m broke as shi and I hardly com here now and I will stop coming because I found a spot where they sell a actual

Open 24hrs. Donuts, Sandwiches, Boba, Smoothies, and much more. Employees are very kind.

MUY CARRO... no salen bueno. 1.80 for a dried out non flavorless donut. $10 FOR 6 Pricey for their donuts that's a Russian roulette of not knowing which one is going to taste good or not. Probably better off getting winchell or another place that actually has the same better tasting donut for 1.00, they have a turnkey sandwich for $10 ?????? subway next door bigger better.

Rude ladies, false advertising, no refunds, and if you didn't like what you got you can't tell them about it.

The donuts were good. I had the cherry and blueberry donut holes. Good size and moist. I also had a watermelon juice and ham and cheese croissant. The h and cheese croissant was not a traditional game and cheese but was surprisingly good. It's made as a sandwich style but there was a good amount of cheese that I sent tradition packing. The service was good too. Parking kinda sucks though.

I'm giving three stars just because of the newer younger lady that attended me and my partner on October 17, in the morning. She was rude and seemed condescending. She asked if the 50 he was going to pay with was real or fake? Who says that? She also didn't want to give me the order bc my partner ordered it, when I told her that he also ordered two drinks she just said okay they'll be ready in Spanish in a very Patronizing way. You had to be there to feel her vibe. The Hispanic lady and two asian ladies are

The food is good ,but the employees are rude when the owners/bosses are not around , They wont take phone orders , they pick up the phone and leave you hanging I had to show up in person thinking they had a lot of people or orders as I arrived the place was empty only 2 employees in the back , they don't greet you or apologize for the wait or not even taking a call . It used to be great service before the pandemic but I am guessing new owners and they are never around anymore .

I spent about $7 dls for 2 croissants it's a minimum purchase whit credit or debit car there good but not all fo them I order a raisin rolls it wasn't fresh but I got it until arrive at home I noticed ?? good luck

I always have been liking this place. It have lots of combinations you can choose to eat. And the drinks are really good too. The employees are nice, except for the Asian lady who has a rude attitude. But everything else it's perfect. I love Tony's Donut House!

Very clean and I mean CLEAN! They truly follow safety guidelines regarding covid19. Their donuts and pastry, sandwich selection is huge and there's something for even the picky eater. My strawberry smoothie was on point point but the peach was rather bland. Over all the service was great and loved the sugar donut soft in the inside and crispy on the outside.

Came to Cali for the weekend. Needed my coffee & donuts! This place really surprised me, delicious breakfast and freshness.

The only issue I have is don't call it a breakfast sandwich if you don't add an egg to it. It cost more with eggs. The sandwich was still good on roll.

1) RUDE WORKERS LADIES. Rushing me to pick out my donuts. Unpatient 2) STALE NACHO CHIPS & THEY GET UPSET FOR POINTING IT OUT. They don't want to loose but wants the customer to lose. Then, I tell the employee and denies it. Like if she is going to get a $ raise. Talk to a Chinese women and we both kept going back and forth. I'm not going to consume nothing that is old and it's going to make me sick. Went the next day to give it a try and buy my kids donuts but then the two Latina old women were rude, an

I go here and buy a croissant sandwich at least once every other week. The teas here are really good too - the chamomile tea is amazing. It can get busy but there's usually 1-2 workers attending everyone, so keep that in mind.

This donut place has been in town for over 20yrs i remember costume service was good. Have come several times and the girl is rude always with a bad attitude. Sad to know that our own people turn rude against their own ppl. They should better their customer service.

I've been coming to this place since I was a kid, the menu has grown so much! You can choose any item on the menu and won't be disappointed. Everything is delicious! Especially the Donuts! You can sit inside and enjoy! Not a whole lot of parking space, but you can always park at CVS for a quick stop.

Very expensive or I was deliberately over charged. The lady told us 5 bucks then charged us almost 7 bucks for 4 donuts. They were good donuts though. Keep an eye on the cashier. Also, I received a reply from someone at Tony's donuts, (about this review) that was pretty over sensitive. If I had a cashier that was a problem, I'd want to know about it.

Fresh doughnuts and a reasonable price! It's easy to find a donut shop in my area, but one with fresh great tasting donuts.... (Not so much) But I can honestly say each time I have been to Tony's donuts are fresh! With a pretty good selection to choose from. If you have a craving for a donut or maybe a smoothie or Thai tea, give Tony's a try.

Best Donuts in town, I haven't gotten anything that wasn't good here. The Bomb, from traditional to fancy donuts pretty solid all around. Their Nutella donut is the Bomb. I've also had a funfetti powder donut ??. Go have your favorite Donut, you won't be disappointed

Should of known when i went in there store grade went from an A to a B . Bought 2 chocolate milk cartons for my kids and as i got home my 4 year old made a face when sipping on the milk so i tasted it and it was rotten! Not only my sons milk but my daughters too! They didn?t care enough and probably just had it sitting in a warm place before putting it in the fridge. I called the store and she showed no sense of care stating to come back the next day . Never again!

Probably the Best Apple Fritter I've ever had. Better than Krispy Kreme and Randy's Donuts. So fresh and moist. Plenty of fruit filling. Got the large Fritter and it was worth every penny. Sorry that it's 25 miles away.

Best Donuts in the area!! Ive compared their donuts to several other donut shops including Winchells and they beat them all in flavor, texture of bread, consistency, and even a day later the donuts are way more edible than other places. In addition, everything on their menu is great. Its open 24hrs! =)

It has great selection of donuts. Has the food at a delicious price. Not an over charge. Has some unique donuts that youll just love and enjoy. Has other foods. Breakfast, sandwhiches, coffee, chocolate, juices and much more must check out!!! Has a small parking but its a unique parking as well really old school like the movies. Great service. They have a impatient sign extra $10 if you are rude and impatient . It is only fair because people sometimes are rude, disrespectful and impatient. Best donut shops.

This in Huntington Park open 24 hours their Croissant Sandwiches are out of this world good!!! Donuts ?? always fresh and soft! Customer service is excellent. I totally missed them.

Bought 3 ham and cheeses an orange juice and a sandwich came out to $50? they?re known to overcharge people thinking you won?t notice. The first time I let it slide the 2nd I confronted them about it and they seemed to not even care. They only reason they?re getting a star from me is because you have to leave a star other than that it would have been 0 stars

So far I've tried their ice cream and don't pastries without complains. The only small detail is that when I asked to try a flavor of their ice cram they said they didn't offer samples with a rude tone. Other than that, everything here looks pretty eatable.

Love this place I have been going here for over 30 years my favorite is the coffee cake there cheese muffins a few of of the chocolate donuts and a ham and cheese

Been coming here since I can remember the tapat?o that was where the cvs is now. Great doughnuts, sandwiches and drinks. Even now that I don't live around the area I take my wife and kids here! They love it.

Sandwiches are great. Also service can be quick or snail pace depending who is on shift in the morning but the workers are friendly. If service was consistent it makes sense to pay their prices.

The food is great drinks are great. The workers attitudes not so much. Everytime I've been in they greet you with a very heavy attitude. The croissant sandwiches are great tough .

I read the previous comments before coming i almost did not come because of a few reviews said the doughnuts taste was not good. But majority of the comments on here are about bad service. Well let me tell you guys THE ?? ARE GREAT. TASTE GREAT. THE SERVICE FROM THE 2 LADIES WAS EXCELLENT THEY TREATED ME GREAT AND WITH A SMILE. I went around8:40 3/20/17. I will be a returning customer..

We were craving one of those new donuts that are half donut, half croissant. We found this place on the Web and away we went. This place has more than donuts. It has sandwiches, bobas, smoothies, and too much more to fit in here. They were busy when we got there so had to wait to order. Staff was friendly and got our cravnuts right away. They have a few flavors. We got glazed and chocolate. Tasted great. We will be going back to try the rest that is for sure.

Tony's donuts is one of the tasty treasures in huntington park..fresh donuts ...fresh coffee... all sorts of tasty treats...parking available ??

stopped by a couple days ago for a donut and a coffee, my donut was very greasy. I cut a small piece off and you can see the oil drip. I asked kindly if they can exchange my donut and they said no. They said all their donuts are the same. My first and last time.

This place should be investigated by the better business bureau. It Is over charging on the worst tasting donuts in town. I bought a BANANA NUT MUFFIN. THE COST WAS $1.95. THIS MUFFIN HAD ONLY 5 WALNUTS IN IT. NOTHING BUT PLAIN BREAD IN THE INSIDE. IT ALSO HAD A GLAZE TOPPING ON THE MUFFIN. HORRIBLE TASTING. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO NOBODY. JUST HORRIBLE!!!

FOOD: Always FRESH! SERVICE: STEPHANIE Is AWESOME!! ATMOSPHERE: Is NICE. The ?? House ?? Is Clean!

Coffee is great. Grabbed the 136oz for 30$ good deal. To go with some fresh mixed doughnuts . On a rainy day. Thank you

Not what it used to be. Donuts tasted like if they cooked them in the same oil as the Chinese food they sell. Boba was way too sweet and expensive.

Very clean place. Very friendly service. Great ice creams. However, the donuts are just okay. The sandwiches looked good but I didn't have one.

It was ok. The donuts were semisweet. The ice cream had melted and been refrozen. No Bueno! I can say, at least they're open 24hrs. I will give them a second chance.

Great customer service and food. Been coming here for years. The service and staff is excellent and so is the doughnut and sandwiches.

the thai teas are great but 6.50 is not worth it they call it a x tra large but its only 16 oz the place i go to charges 3.95 for 32oz. the customer service is really rude and they act as if you are bothering them i paid 13.50 for 2 thai teas instaed of my usual 8.50 never ever again very very overally priced and the fact thy put extra largr as if its giantic when its not.

TONY... TONY... TONY...??I went today?? I was so excited to try the donuts and all the goodies they have there?? but the asian girl is so rude? not professional at all ??what a disappointment ?? hope they improved the service and the workers as well...I will like to try the place especially living close by hope one day I can ??

The Boba here is so amazing! Ask for a stamp card whenever you order drinks and every time you go back for another, provide the stamp card. When you reach up to 9 or 10 drinks, you get a FREE BOBA OR DRINK!

Great sandwiches, service, and drinks. I wonder how natural the drinks are but they taste delicious. Love that its drive through, great for traveling customers like me!

the croissant sandwiches are my favorite, also the frapps and donuts are to die for, honestly. I just love it here, I come here and sit at my favorite orange table and bring my laptop and just chill, while enjoying all the goodies they offer here. I have my regular which the staff all know it by know. A large Banana Split with 5 different ice cream flavors, straberry cheesecake, cookies and cream, vanilla, pistacho, chocolate chip, add apple slices and bananas dipped in caramel, and chocolate the other half

It's pretty good... But, the coffee cakes were somewhat disappointing. They're above average, but you can get better.

Dougnuts are fine these girls that work here are disrespectfull . Came in bought a coffee and dougnuts and while I was preparing my coffee a old man that had bought a meal and finished ,I see him say to the young lady ,are you going to apolagize for what you said to me or do I need to take you to court ,and the young lady loudly said what did I say ,so what did I say and she goes off and Rudely says you need to take a shower before you come here, and I heard the man ask for my name and that I witness what sh

Amazing and some of the most unique I've ever had, and I have had some great one's. A must if you want something you've never seen or tasted. Love this place! Cheap too!

the best place in Town to get a breakfast, doughnuts and many more ?? at good prices since ?? I remember 1983 that was the first time I had a doughnuts and coffee ?? ?? and they still ?? gooood

Very disappointed I live in Lancaster California and was in LA stopped by for donuts got 4 donuts including apple fritter red velvet a wanna be cronut and donut holes tried all of them they taste like grease didnt even get to finish one of them kids and hubby said the same thing waste of 12 dollars the oil they used must be the same oil they fry fish in it because that's the after taste we all got oily fishy taste dont recommend these donuts they need to change there oil ??????

excellent place, before it was 24 hours an hour, due to the pandemic the schedule has changed, I recommend it In my experience they are the best, croissant that I tried, like donuts, and the bread called butterfly, 100% recommended

Not the cleanest spot, but decent enough. Always fresh, and huge donuts, always fresh and huge breakfast sandwiches on bagel, French roll, or croissants. A little pricier, but worth it.

Very nice and potlie workers. They were very happy to help me and answer some questions about the other stuff they sold. Definitely a place to go when you want a donut at 3am

Always a good experience only downsides have been they are a bit pricey and there is very limited parking but all the food and drinks are totally worth it. Sandwiches here are super delicious.

I love the iced coffee and the donuts are super soft everytime!

This place is the best it has the best sandwiches, boba drinks and mangoniada also ice cream and other icey drinks and specially customer service is excellent and the place super clean i would recommend everyone to visit this place you won't regret it trust me! ??????

I order two bacon and eggs sandwich and they gave me more lettuce and just one strip of bacon not even when I go to regular donuts they give me more bacons. There expensive I paid 20 for two coffee's and two sandwiches NOPE I don't recommended at all

Tony's is always on point. They have great fresh donuts. Bake goods. There shave ice is amazing they have everything ??

I love this place. The donuts are always fresh. There is a lot of variety. There is a lot of boba beverages too choose from.

Really love going, I probably cone here at least once a month and love their jucies, smoothies, donuts, ect. It is great place to go and I recommend this place to all my friends.

Easily the best donuts around. Devil's food cake is crispy and crunchy. Every single donut will make you happy you went to Tony's

Local favorite. The ham and cheese sandwich here is very tasty. I also love the thai tea boba here.
