Customer Reviews

This place is PINK! There's a nice play area for little kids. They also sell a variety of mochi donuts. From the kiosk, we ordered Wintermelon Milk Tea, Brown Sugar Boba Milk Tea, Phin Egg Coffee, and a Mochi Donut. The drinks were good. I liked the coffee. It had an interesting taste mixed with the egg flavor.

Stopped in for a sweet treat and tea after dinner at Yo Sushi. The decor is super fun. Self serve order kiosks feel very trendy. Very easy to customize orders and pay by card. We also saw people walk in and order at the counter, presumably they accept cash as well. Donuts are fun and tasty. Background music is very eclectic, several different genres and decades covered while we were there. Lots of pink and positive messaging. Staff was willing to help us take a family photo by the round swing chair.

So they used to make the best matcha latte and lately they have been using way too much milk and barely any matcha in it who knows why.. same price tho. You can see the picture it looks white and not so green.

Tomo is a sweet spot! Their mochi donuts are absolutely delicious?crispy on the outside, soft and chewy on the inside, with a variety of fun flavors. The drinks are equally yummy, with lots of options to choose from. What really sets them apart is their free kids' play area, which is a nice bonus if you have little ones. You just need to sign a waiver, and they can burn off some energy while you enjoy your treats. Overall, a fantastic place for a snack, drink, and some family-friendly fun!

Delicious!!! Cute spot. Great for moms with babies/ toddlers. Fun play structure

Tasty beverages and donuts. A cute place to take nice pictures while enjoying your coffee.

Instagram worthy new boba ?? spot. Great flavors. Friendly staff. Clean store and bathrooms. Ordering and paying by screen is fun. Not a fan of mochi donuts ?? but did give them a try, very tasty. Cute kids play area. You need a wrist band and sign waiver to play. Good place to hang out for a bit. Plenty of seating inside. Quiet enough space to get some reading or work done. Easy no hassle parking. Wish they had some snack food items as well. Just what we needed in this park of town. Lively new energy. ????

The cutest shop! The dubai strawberries and sugarcane drinks are my go to treats! The service was fast and it was fun to take pictures around the store :D

Also known as Mochi Dough on Maps, we were looking for Japanese Mochi Donuts then discovered this gem BOBER TEA. The green one was mung bean pandan milk tea ? unique! But on the sweeter end, I need to dilute it with 2X water ? well I guess that?s a deal, I got two boba teas in one cup actually ?? Purple boba was taro! Pair it with purple donut?dreamy & beautiful??

Seems like this used to be a Bober in the past cuz everything is hella pink. Pretty clean establishment. The drinks are alright. Slightly disappointed they don't offer no ice option for their classic milk tea options. Oh, they also have mochi donuts.

I love getting milk tea and mochi donuts at Bober Tea. The tea is flavorful and high-quality, the stir-fried boba pearls have the perfect texture, and the mochi donuts are dangerous. They have a deal on Tuesdays when the donuts are $1 each when you purchase a drink, and they have an indoor play area for $5 per kid. The vibe is really fun though it does feel a bit gimmicky... but that just makes it more fun for the kids.

We went to the grand opening of Bober Tea & Coffee today. It was our first time trying their boba and mochi donuts. This is such a cute place to go to. We tried their boba and it's really good. We loved their mochi donuts. I will definitely come back with my family.

Literally the cutest boba shop!! They have a play area for kids under 10, and my toddler was over the moon; foam slides and mats, little inflatable animals to play with and even a ball pit. You do have to be a customer and it is $5 for 1 hour play time and no shoes allowed. I ordered a classic milk tea, winter melon tea, strawberry green tea and a thai tea, they were all so delicious! The workers were all friendly and despite how busy and packed it was on opening day, they were all nice and the service was

The high quality ingredients and brown sugar stir fried boba make this place more delicious than a typical bubble tea spot. The mochi donuts were also fantastic. And of course the decor is super fun. It would be rude *not* to take pictures for the 'gram.

This boba shop is adorable. The decoration is very IG-friendly. They have a wide variety of drinks and mochi donut flavors available. I enjoyed trying their cookie butter mochi donut and their pear drink. The double sealed bear ear cups are such a nice touch! Every employee I interacted with was very friendly and helpful.

Great Boba place with plenty of yummy choices. Decorations are fun, and there is a kids' play area that was clean and fun for little ones to enjoy. Every wall seems Instagram worthy for pictures. It's worth checking out if you're in the area.

Adding to my previous review: The new Dubai Chocolate dessert is so so good! Wow, what a great addition to an already great menu. I hope they keep this item! The kids play area is GENIUS. I can see myself spending many an afternoon here just so it gives me a moment of peace while the kids are entertained! Many other people here with kids as well. Drink (strawberry cloud) and mochi donuts (Choco sprinkle) were also yummy, which is such a bonus.

I just found this place today and ended up checking out 2 locations because I love it so much!! The environment is sooo fun and creative (photo op worthy around every corner), the mochi donuts are delicious, and there are plenty of tea flavors! Will definitely be coming back!

Great atmosphere for instagram worthy pics. Drinks and mochi donuts are really good ??wish we could adjust the sweetness of our drinks though

Well decorated boba shop. Mochi donuts are yummy. Tuesday special: $1 donut with drink purchase!

Average experience, delicious mochi donuts, but tea lacks quality due uncertainty on how to prepare sugar-free drinks. Specifically, ordered a sugar-free strawberry green tea not my first time, but received strawberry syrupy concoction without ANY green tea since they pre-sweeten their teas. Why not just prepare a green tea batch without sugar? Pricing should reflect better preparation methods. I don't think I'll purchase any other tea, but will return for donuts.

Ordered mocha latte today and found out that the one who prepared it wasn?t trained well to do it.while sipping my drinks i tasted something weird that it won?t be dissolved in my tongue so I have to pour my drinks in a strainer and found some peels and the coffee/espresso wasn?t dissolved. My cup was also filthy. I?m very disappointed.

Very cute boba shop with lots of nice backdrops for pictures. The chizu strawberry green tea and taro mochi donut was delicious.

Costs $5 per kid to enter the play area. This was not listed on their website. I stopped in for a donut with my kids (for the record the drinks and donuts are good) and was only there for a few minutes, turned into a very expensive outing. Other kids were not asked to pay. I won't be coming back.

I love coming here! The drinks are so good and the boba is always the perfect soft yet chewy texture. The mochi donuts are really good too. Ambiance is cute & girly. Only annoying thing is no public restrooms and the steep charge for the play place. Also I wish they would restock the cute specialty cups cuz I would really love one.

Nice little shop. Very pretty interior. Fairly recently, they cut ties with Bober, under whom they used to operate as franchisees. Now they have relaunched under a new name, expanded their menu, and are an autonomous mom and pop Boba tea and mochi donut shop, doing things their own way. If you enjoy such treats, PLEASE SUPPORT THEM!! I overheard the young owner telling the guys in front of me that she hasn't seen many of their regulars from the Bober days at all since the rebrand, and she has no idea

Ok tea and mochi, too sweet even with adjustments.Charging extra for light ice option is ??.Cute spot, instagram worthy

Ended up coming to Bober for their mochi donuts after hearing about how hyped up they are. Definitely a different style than the more traditional donuts, but I can dig it! They can be a bit pricey, and most of the area is a playplace, but those who take advantage of one of their many deals (especially on Tuesdays!) can come out ahead.

Ordered Taro latte but it did not come with boba like the picture showed, yeah, later I found the fine print. Even after light ice, the ice cubes filled more than half a cup so $7.20 for about 10 oz of milk with taro flavor hardly calls for a return trip. The place was used for private party so didn?t get to go in either. Epic failure in the choice!

First time in a while getting boba and loved the strawberry tea. Staff super friendly. And the aesthetic of the place is amazing. Brand new and super clean. You order on these screens which I didn?t love as someone who had no idea about the menu but I eventually managed! And I think if I was a regular I?d like it more.

Such an underrated boba spot! I know people may usually go to Alameda Landing for their boba, but this is now my new go to spot. The location has tons of parking and the store is so cute and pink. My drink was very tasty and they come with these cute bear caps, so nothing spills out. The service was great and super quick. I cannot wait to come again!

This is the most beautiful boba store ever. There are flowers everywhere and they have a kids play area too. We got the strawberry green tea, the honey milk tea and the mochi donuts. All were flavorful and not too sweet. Highly recommend!

Really glad we found this place. Fun atmosphere and great selection of boba tea/coffee drinks. They were sold out of mochi, I want to come back and try that next time.

They went all in on aesthetic but forgot to establish a baseline milk tea. You'd have a better experience dunking a Lipton in milk. Their donuts are also pretty bad for mochi donuts (roughly 2.5/5). 5 bucks for the play place in case you were wondering

The donuts are pretty good if not a bit too sweet even without much frosting although the sweetness does come from the frosting. The service is just okay. I placed an online order and walked over. It?s not a very close walk for me but also not so far that I need to drive for donuts. Well, to be safe I left my phone at home. I got to Bober and supposedly they couldn?t find my order and the asian woman behind the counter told me that I needed my phone. So I walk back without my order that I had already paid f

The mochi donuts are amazing! So delicious with a lovely texture. Milk tea is fabulous. We had roasted oolong and winter melon milk tea. Both were wonderful. It was all so good. We can't wait to go back!

I have been here twice, both times in the morning. It's a cute decor makes it welcoming to kids and families. Bober Tea serves the drinks, and Mochi Dough offers donuts. I really liked the Nutty OG Vietnamese Iced Coffee. It was delicious, even though you don't set the sweetness level. The 2nd visit I ordered the Supreme Strawberry w/ Lychee Jelly. Also, good.....but you can't adjust sweetness. The donuts are soft and chewy. Only 6 types were available in the first hour they were open. Some things to kno

Love this place..I love how I can come here and enjoy a boba with a mochi donut and let my LO play in their toddler area. The location was clean and well maintained. The staff is friendly and very helpful.

Hey now...a must try Boba tea spot. I purchased the yummy thai tea and a 6 pack of donuts. The taro donuts are yummy.

First time I went the vibe was chill, drinks okay, and kiddos happily played in the kid area. Second time the guy with the beanie behind the counter was so rude - told us we had to pay $5 each for our kids to get a wristband to play in the play area (no sign anywhere said this was a requirement, was not the case last time I was in, 6 teenagers were hanging out in the area without paying nor a wristband), got our drinks wrong even though he took our order (since the kiosks were taken over by aforementioned t

Drink is overly sweet and they do not let you adjust sugar level. The funniest thing is they charge you for ordering less ice. Don't be fool by these reviews, they give free donuts if you give them review. Top Up tea down the street is better.

I really enjoyed the Pandan Milk tea! It was the perfect amount of sweetness. The staff is really nice, they have a play pen for the kids. And they gave me and boyfriend a free drink for our orders. Will definitely be coming back! :)

Love the combination of boba tea, coffee, and mocha donuts. Maybe add some red bean and/or black bean paste mochi? But the ones they do have are excellent. The rose latte was exceptionally good, as was the signature boba tea. If this were less expensive, it?d be a regular haunt in no time. Nice little play area for the kiddies is a nice bonus.

I went there for the donuts. They?re good. I wished it had more different kinds available, and not week by week. Drinks are ok, but to be charged for $.40 for wanting less ice? Edit: Thank you for the replied back from owner. While I understood that asking for LESS ice (just because I know it can make the tea more diluted later and just taste like water) required more of your ?product? to fill it up, its part of that product review for me-the overall taste. I guess it just makes the ?hidden fee? a surprise

Stumbled upon this place last weekend so i ventured in. Super cute ambiance. I wasnt totally in the mood for a boba drink so I was happy to see their other drink offerings. I ended up getting the OG Vietnamese iced coffee; super good. It was bigger than I thought it would be so I only drank half that day and saved half for the next day. I thought the price was a bit much (about $6 for one) but seeing as how I split it into 2 servings it was fine for me. I think that price for boba milk tea is a bit too much

I used to go all the way to Mochill in Oakland or Japantown because those were the only good mochi donuts around, not anymore. This place has mochi donuts that again, not overly too sweet and still full of flavor that makes you want more. The downside is that they run out fast, it you go after 6 or 7 you don't find much. As for the drinks, I didn't find consistency. The first two times my customize drink was perfect, I don't like too much sugar, but the last two times that I went, it was overly too sweet ev

Staff was very friendly. The food/drinks exquisite - new favorite donut is here. The atmosphere is very UwU in a great way

Boba and fruit teas in many flavors with a wide selection of toppings, plus mochi donuts. Wonderfully bright and cheerful place - I took my daughter here this evening and she loved it.

These mochi donuts are revelation! They're a little chewy a little crunchy, and any flavor you choose will be a winner.

I?m so happy that my fav boba spot is closer and more accessible than Walnut Creek. I moved from sacramento and haven?t had a chance to get my fix. I can?t wait to drop by for a visit. The have the best tapioca pearls in the game.

I loved this place, it was my first time going with my toddler and he loved it, he got to play in the soft play area meanwhile I got to enjoy my drink. I highly recommend. 10/10

The food, service, and atmosphere are all top notch. This would be a great afternoon date spot! The mochi donuts are next level.

I would have to say this may be a unique situation but it was highly unsanitary. I went in on 8/1 around 7:50pm to order a drink when a person sent back their drink. The cashier took off her used cap and placed it back into the new cap pile ?? and when my drink was ready another cashier placed the used cap on my drink. Where the straw went there was residual of the other person drink on it and when I asked the cashier for a different lid she assured me it was new and the residual most likely came from my dr

A good self-serve Boba spot with mochi donuts! Also has a play area for the kids.

Absolutely love this place. The mochi donuts are incredible, and the owners and staff are wonderful to their customers.

Ufff I?ve never had so much sugar in my life in one drink even with 50% sweetness and now I have diabetes The atmosphere is weird, kids playing on one side and a weird guy just sitting around eating donuts watching them. Yikes At least the staff is nice?

BEST BOBA PLACE EVER I LOVE THEM SO MUCH

If you like pre-mixed drinks and a weird mall ambience, this tea house would be the place for you. For a 25% sweetness, my milk tea tasted like 125%. I can?t imagine what a 100% sweetened drink would be.

The atmosphere is like an installation art piece about boba. Disappointed to see they charge for the children's play area. What they gain in profit they sacrifice in friendliness.

Originally Bober Tea but since it's transition it has only continued to remain the best bubble tea spot on Alameda Island.

Sooooo....good...love the drink donut...place so nice service are good very friendly ????

Nice aesthetic but drinks are overly bitter and overpriced.

This some of my favorite bobba. Drinks are sweet and refreshing. The setup is so cute! Definitely great for photos

interior is really pretty but bubble tea is so sweet and you need to add pearls on top of it by paying more

They charge for the soft play, on top of the already expensive prices. Food and drink is OK. Looks pretty for Instagram, though, so that?s the main thing.

Cute place! Super busy on rainy weekends. Has a tiny $5 indoor playground that's great for the littles.

The atmosphere was most certainly a pleasant surprise! They have a fun little area for kids to enjoy and the chairs are very comfortable!

Instagram worthy boba place with mediocre boba tea. It just did not hit the spot. Will not be returning.

The place looks beautiful and the boba was on point along with the mochi doughnuts! Will definitely be coming back!

The Jasmine was not the good but I forgot that I don't really like it if u like then u like it I can't to anything about that

I love the decorations, this place is so so pretty. But in my opinion, boba is just sweeter than others.

The place is super cute inside and I like that they only sell the donuts same-day for freshness~

Welcome to Alameda! The Rose Latte is my instant favorite! Wonderful ambiance and service.

Good boba and the mochi donuts are good as well!

The Mango Sago is super yummy!

Creative and bright environment with great customer service ??..

Friendly service. Good choice of drinks. Kids play area. Free parking.

Very tasty. Baby had a great time on the soft toys.

Super cute location, first time visiting and will definitely be coming back again! ??

It's really cute and has a great atmosphere :)

Yum. Love the brown sugar cookies and cream.

I wish the Mochi donuts were fresher

Amazing mochi donuts

Nice, clean and kid friendly!
