Titus Bakery

Titus Bakery

Reviews Summary

Titus Bakery receives overwhelmingly positive reviews for its donuts, with many praising their freshness, variety, and quality, especially favorites like the Pershing, maple-bacon, and apple fritters. The staff is generally friendly and efficient, though a few customers noted occasional rudeness or slow service. Some find the donuts slightly dry or overpriced, but most agree they’re worth the stop. The drive-thru can be slow, and parking is tight on weekends. While sandwiches and cakes get mixed feedback (some love them, others find them dry or bland), the bakery remains a beloved local gem, often called the best donut shop around.

Customer Reviews

Got it! Here?s the updated review with the correct spelling: ? Titus Bakery in Lebanon, Indiana, is an absolute must-stop whenever we?re heading south on I-65. We make it a point to stop here every time because, simply put, it?s one of the best bakeries around. Their selection of donuts is incredible?everything is super fresh, and they have some really unique options you don?t see everywhere. One of my all-time favorites is the Pershing, and every time I have one, I?m reminded why we keep coming back. The

Had to try a Pershing; Tastes like pancakes and syrup! So fresh and soft, my husband and I were happy all day. Pups loved the dog treats too! Next time it?s a Key Lime Bismark.

We made a pit stop for lunch on our way from Chicago to Lexington, KY. First impressions? Cute place, and the smell?oh man, the smell. Like walking into a warm hug from a bakery. The donuts looked incredible, but I had to make some tough life choices. Pastries or bourbon? Pasta or steak? You get it. Priorities. We went for a half-sandwich and a cup of soup. The soup was a potato-bacon situation?good flavor, plenty of diced potatoes, and thankfully not thickened with a ton of flour or starch. But wow, was

We placed an order for 120 cookies for a downtown event. Olivia at Titus was fantastic. The cookies were superb. Our visitors were thrilled to devour these delectable cookies. 10 out of 10!

Service at drive-thru window was chaotic. Whomever wound up being the person to fill my order, put an apple fritter, a pershing & a Black Forest donut in a SACK, horizontally, & all the fabulous icing of the Pershing & the Black Forest went straight onto the inside of the sack. Must have been short of small boxes that day, bc wow, just wow?. I had waited for months to visit this business & I was hugely disappointed & also, very underwhelmed by the cinnamon rolls that I also purchased. Probs won?t return & d

Enjoying a little sweets on my Christmas vacation. The Dennis?s strawberry & cream cheese are always delicious. It?s fresh & fluffy unlike gas station pastries.

I recently visited Titus, and I must say, it was an extraordinary experience that left me craving for more. From the moment I stepped in, the delightful aroma of freshly baked goods enveloped me, instantly transporting me to a world of pure culinary delight. The array of pastries and treats they offer is simply unparalleled. Each bite was a symphony of flavors and textures, a testament to the skill and dedication of their talented bakers. The croissants were perfectly flaky, the donuts were delightfully fl

Always Awesome and Amazing Staff. Donuts are top notch, but sandwiches are also awesome. If you go there on Saturday ensure to be patient as lines are long. I recommended to sit and eat there. We really enjoyed meeting local people.

There is no better doughnuts in the entire world. I've eaten here since I was a wee little lad and I've had pastries from all over and this is still my favorite place. The staff is always friendly and helpful and the food is amazing. If it's your first time, try the Pershing doughnut. The also make great cookies, cakes and cupcakes. Love it!

Great bakery! They were patient with me as I chose what I wanted. Service was quick and always with a smile. Prices are very reasonable. Comfortable ambience

Titus Bakery is one of Lebanons' own, my husband has shared stories how this bakery has been in business since the 80's. Needless to say there is so much history here, they serve a number items; donuts, fresh deli sandwiches, in house made popcorn, cupcakes . The quality of the donuts are impeicable that are one of a kind, I think I say that because this bakery takes pride in having all local ingredients and they make everything within the bakery. The service is equally as good as their food, I lov

Amazing bakery with lots of goodies. Iced sugar cookies, cupcakes and all kinds of donuts. They also serve lunch items such as soup and sandwiches with Boar's Head lunch meat. Staff very friendly. Very clean inside and dining room to sit and enjoy a lunch or a cupcake with coffee. Drive thru also available. Its a local favorite place for donuts.

A wonderful little bakery with excellent donuts. Love the Persian donut. The shop has lots of local food products and is really cute. The staff were very friendly, and my daughter loved the caterpillar donut!

Great donuts, so many different varieties to choose from. Definitely have to make a trip back to try them all.

We went to this bakery on our way back to Chicago based on a recommendation and it was SO worth the stop! Super friendly staff and amazing, delicious fresh donuts. Everything was delicious!

Wonderful donuts, friendly staff, great service!

If you are anywhere near Lebanon and love donuts you should check out Titus. When you visit their bakery make sure to pick up a pershing or a Mable bacon donut and you will not be disappointed. I am from out of town and make a special stop every time we are in the area. We bring some home to our friends who have learned about Titus from us. Some have mentioned the price as being high, but one pershing is plenty filling for me and you get what you pay for.

Fresh baked and homade, the pastries and donuts here are absolutely delicious! We love the danishes and filled long johns.

The lady put my donuts so the icing was all over the bag. The best part of the donut is now stuck on the bag a big fail other wise I love Titus

My son and I stopped in for the first time. As a vegan I went all out for these donuts! I couldn?t believe my taste buds? best soft-chewy donuts we?ve ever tasted! I however see some opportunity with the deli side. Going to get in touch with the owner cause this is such a hot spot.

Yummy. We normally go to the Westfield location but we stopped here otw to Chicago. Right off the interstate. These donuts have been fresh & delicious every time & now location. Do yourself a favor. Stop and grab one or 2 dz & SHARE.You really can't go wrong with any flavor but we like Maple iced white cream fill Bismark. Pecan Danish & chocolate ice pnut butter fluff filled long johns.

Stopped here on our way to Purdue to visit out daughter. The donuts were AMAZING! And the Apple fritter was the best we have had.

First of all, there are so many good options and the staff is very helpful. But the best thing is that the donuts are out of this world good!

We stopped here on our road trip and it was incredible! The donuts were some of the freshest, tastiest donuts I?ve ever had. It?s the type where it doesn?t leave you feeling heavy or disgusting afterwards. Plus, the turkey sandwich (I forget the name) was just amazing. Highly recommend.

Good donuts! My first time there today. I was a little overwhelmed at first, I walked in and told them it was my first visit and I just wanted to check out the selection. Both ladies at the front desk started asking questions, if I like filled or not filled, and telling me about the selection. I said I wasn't sure yet and just wanted to look before I selected but I appreciated the attempt to help. I felt a bit rushed even though I was the only one there. They were probably just happy to see someone and enjo

Titus is FANTASTIC!! I regularly eat donuts both in the restaurant and through the drive through. The lines can be long but they?re handled efficiently and accurately. Out of the many many many times I have ordered there has only been one time they missed 1 donut. I have ordered large quantities for parties and they?re great!

Definitely a place you must visit in Indiana at least once!

I think it's socks when you can get a dozen donuts it cost me 31 dollars for a dozen in Lafayette Rossville dozen any kind 14 dollars will never shop at this place again donuts are great but not 31 for a dozen from me ever again and anyone I can tell I will donuts great prices such ty

Worst "filled" donut ever. I had two lemon filled. Both had about a teaspoon of filling. It was mostly flavorless and doughy. So dissapointed. Will not make that drive again. Dunkin has not lost a customer.

Coconut donut. BEST DONUT EVER. Not too sweet and you can taste the quality of the ingredients used. Last Spring I got some iced sugar cookies that were in the shape of flower pots, absolutely beautiful but they were bland and not even edible without dipping them in coffee. I was talked into going again, glad I did.

Went through the drive thru...nice lady but got 3 out of the 4 doughnuts we ordered...too busy to wait in line again for something we had already ordered. Kind if a bummer

I?ve been to this location three times now and have been disappointed every time. Needless to say, I won?t be back. I worked in a donut shop ( as a late teen? in my hometown in California) growing up. Their donuts were fresh, sometimes still warm and always consistent. These are not fresh, cold, over glazed, and extremely too expensive. We all know the overhead up donuts is not that much and the quality does not match the high price point. BTW?.donut holes are not square! They are literally the holes of ra

Titus Bakery 820 W. South St. Lebanon, IN. Absolutely the most awesome fresh quality donuts ever w.friendly staff. Would ?? to have such in Lafayette, IN. ??

Love their donuts. Better then any other place I've gone and same price range as any other place for the same quality. Obviously everyone has their own preference for what the best donut is but Titus is a must try place.

Absolute perfection. Couldn't ask for anything better. All of their food especially their donuts are amazing!

We live in Frankfort and usually go to Flour Mill in Rossville for donuts on the weekend, decided to go to Titus because it?s closer. Big mistake these donuts taste like they are 3 days old I will never go back here. So gross!! Would not recommend!! Waste of money!

One of the top ranked places to get Donuts in Central Indiana. The Long John with Maple Icing and TWO strips of Bacon is hands down worth the visit. The staff is always friendly and makes you feel welcome every time I have visited.

This popcorn is AWFUL, the pink one is strawberry and doesn?t taste like it and the lemon almost made me puke?? my dad ate two handfuls and felt like he was dying. 0/10 wouldn?t recommend them to ANYBODY

Best donuts anywhere! Always stop at Titus, you won?t regret your decision.

Great donut shop with a great selection to choose from! If you are in the area, definitely worth a try! It's only a few minutes off of I-65 exit, which makes it very convenient if travelling through! The ladies were very friendly, even at first thing in the morning! Seemed a little pricey though for a small town donut shop, and did not seem to have a dozen pricing when you mix. From what I could tell, we were charged the individual prices for all 14 donuts (yes, we got an odd amount...), totalling $20+. St

So my parents have lived in Lebanon since 1999 and this was my first time trying Titus. Years of regret! Just reminds me of an old school donut shop. You can actually go in and sit. Great selection of donuts and they taste fantastic. The staff were really nice as well. I'll make sure to visit every time I'm in town!

One of my top three all-time places to get donuts in a number of places across the midwest! Wonderful staff and a great local business. Whether you live in the area or are passing through, this is a must-stop for a sugar fix (they have other menu items that I have not had before, but would give a try based on how great the donuts are). Thank you to the hard working staff for putting out such great donuts.

Love their food and iced coffee!

Our favorite place in Boone Co for donuts.

I love the donuts here! My favorites are the custard filled and chocolate frosted with sprinkles. They have amazing bismark donuts and if you're undecided I'd recommend getting a standard mix dozen. We've never had a bad donut from Titus and I expect their other deli food would be great as well.

All the way from Palm Harbor Florida! Back home for some Titus donuts. 3rd person in line waiting for the window to open up in the morning if that says anything about how much I love this bakery. There's no comparison. They're my family's famous "yard sale breakfast of champions!" Lol, host of the sale never has to do a Titus run.

Such a nice surprise! I moved recently and wasn't familiar with the area. I had a lot of driving to do so I ordered a sandwich to go and it was so good. They didn't skimp on the cheese either. The bun they use was super soft and the vegetables fresh and crisp. I'll definitely be stopping in again.

If you?re anywhere near any of their locations, you ABSOLUTELY have to get some homemade donuts!! They melt in your mouth and the maple bacon donuts are AMAZING!! Very friendly, I?ve traveled several hours just for the experience and I personally promise you will not regret it!!!

It's just alright. Donuts didn't have enough flavor in general, chocolate not chocolatey enough, dough itself sort of bland. Pershings a little disappointing compared to the real thing. Not sure how this place won awards. But the staff is nice anyway. If you're close by and really want donuts, it's worth a stop. But don't think it's more than some regular donut shop.

Hands down - best donuts in Indy! It's well worth the bit of a drive to get here. Longs can't hold a candle to this place! Absolutely phenomenal! Great staff and incredible pastries!! You've gotta come by if you're in town!

This bakery is an absolute pleasure from the fresh baked donuts to the great customer service. Always get greeted with a great smile and pleasant conversation. I always visit when I'm passing through, if you haven't visited and love fresh donuts then you need to add this to your list.

I had heard their donuts were to die for, but Y'ALL...their sandwiches and soups are where it's really at! I love their vanilla iced coffee too. And my oldest daughter loves their fritters and bear claws! Their workers have always been cheery. You don't see that a lot at chains.

This place is just always awesome. We were out of town last week and went to DD (that OTHER donut shop) and instantly regretted it. Small, bad donuts that are terribly overpriced. Got back into town and instantly went to TITUS for some REAL donuts and Apple Fritters. SO glad we did. Nothing like them. Big and flavorful with lots of filling and the Fritters are gigantic and with so much apple they're just amazing. Word to the wise. Don't bother with that other place. Hold out for something WORTH buying and e

I love this bakery! They consistently deliver amazing goodies and friendly service. In 1 1/2 years donuts have always been fresh, never old or stale. Do yourself a favor, and try the maple cream filled or any of the other delicious selections.

These Donuts are big and fluffy. They're not greasy or oily. I had four of their popular donuts and each time I was impressed. Even the morning after I got them they were still fresh

If I could give 10 stars I would. WOW, that was our breakfast. Danish, custard long John, cherry turnover. Delicious. Coffee smooth to complete the experience. Just traveling from SC to Chicago don't miss this gem of a stop..We won't ????

Saw the sign in the freeway. Time on google and the side window said open until 6pm. Got here right before 2 and had to finish a call. Walked to the front door and had a sign that says closes at 2. I called to see if I could get a donut as the picture and review were great. They said sorry they are closed and come back. Told them I?m driving through but no go. Please update all your signs and hours on google so people driving through don?t get off the freeway and waste their time for something they

They are a little pricey, but once you taste them you will see that they are well worth the cost. The topping on the long johns is like a chocolate fudge and is amazing. I have NEVER had better donuts anywhere.

Got a dozen peanutbutter cookies. Hard as can be and not much peanut flavor. In fact I'm throwing 5 out of the 6 away. What a waste of 6 dollars. When I was there I got 2 bacon donuts added to my order and was surprised when the total went up $7.00 WOW must be $3.50 for a donut. Definitely never going there for EXTREMELY over priced food when I have to throw most of it away because you cant eat rock hard food.

Cute place. Discovered on google. Friendly and fast service. Treated with kindness! I was given a free cookie! I?ll try to go again! ??

This was my first visit here and it did not disappoint! The staff was super friendly and helpful. The doughnuts were amazing! I loved the muchie stick and yeast doughnut. I don't think I have ever had a fluffier doughnut. Wish this was closer to home for me!

Sandwiches and soup were wonderful but the staff was completely rude to our family of 6. They seemed outwardly annoyed that we even came inside. No bathrooms available to use either. After eating sandwiches and soup, my husband went up to get donuts to go and they ignored him. Bizarre. Too bad staff can ruin a nice local place.

Best donuts in Central Indiana!

Stopped here while traveling through Indiana. OMG best donuts I?ve ever had. Super fresh and the maple frosting is to die for. Gonna be a family tradition to stop always on our way to Disney!!

I was in there today , pretty busy, I tried your pumpkin cream donut , it was awesome.. 10/10...

Never been treated so rudely at a drive thru in my life!! Got to wait over 10 minutes while watching the kids inside carry on drama inside the bakery . Then .....to have a young........lady throw open the window and yell " it will be a few minutes" and slam the window shut to continue the drama with her coworkers. I never even got to try a donut. That was too rude and I will not be recommending them anytime soon. Hope your drama was worth it.

First time going. Everything looked yummy. We ate so much of the yumminess. We give it 5 stars and will visit this cute little bakery again. This was our 6 year anniversary treat.

ROUGH. Very slow; 3 cars in 25+ minutes is awful :( I also do not like their donuts- too dry- but that's a personal preference. I would love to consult with y'all about this drive-thru! I've worked with a major, global company and think I can help you increase not only speed, but customer service and sales! The DT here has been a problem since before the pandemic, but is fixable!

A great place to get a Canoe.

Not sure why Titus doesn't have 5 big bright stars! The Pershing rolls are the best anywhere. The change in owners makes the atmosphere so much better. When I go home, to Lebanon, I make a point to get there for Pershing rolls. If you haven't tried them you're missing the best thing you would ever put in your mouth!

Donuts are good, but they only have cinnamon rolls on Monday. Are they lazy, or just too profit centered? There?s nothing wrong with making a profit, but when it causes you to cut corners, I?m out. I paid good money for a roast beef sandwich and it had two thin slices of roast beef thinner than the cheese. The photo backs up the claim. The soups I?ve had are not bad at all - quite hearty. I may continue to go in for donuts if I?m not barred after this candid review, but never again for lunch. Fool me once,

Called an order in Friday for a 9 am pickup on Saturday!! Love Titus donuts! Be sure to beat the rush, waited in line for 35 min on a Saturday morning! Glad I planned ahead.

By far the most substantial donut for the dollar. They are a bakery, so prices and quality reflect that. Be prepared to wait in line if you didn't order ahead. It's worth the small trip off the interstate for some awesome donuts.

This place has an incredible pershing donut. But today?s service was disappointing. The middle aged gentleman at the Westfield location didn?t ask me if I wanted cream or sweetener in my iced coffee so after I drove thru the drive thru, I had to park and go in to ask for it. He wasn?t friendly or unfriendly. He was just kind of existing. Also the price for a small iced coffee 8 oz I think was $3.59 and that is just overpriced. Other competitors charge less for 20 oz and charge the same for hot or cold. West

Liz did a beyond amazing job on my daughter?s birthday cake the design was amazing my daughter loved it and the cake itself was delicious (and I don?t even like cake??) she definitely took her time and you can tell she takes a lot of pride in her work. Definitely going to be ordering special occasion cakes from her from now on ??

Doughnuts are just ok. Not nearly worth what they are charging but just ok. Don't know what the hype is about other than the local doughnut shop . They go stale real fast. For $15 a dozen you can buy better stale doughnuts at a gas station!

Wonderful donuts and service, it's a must stop when I come to Lebanon, yummy! ??

Titus bakery is awesome! It?s worth the drive to Lebanon just to experience their donuts. They also do great coffee, sandwiches and delicious soup. You won?t be disappointed! ??

A true gem! I work in Indy and my coworkers beg me to bring Titus donuts in. Some of my faves are the maple-bacon, the gigantic apple fritters, and of course their famous pershings. For me, they beat Long's hands-down every time.

Best place and always will be! For your donut's. Sometimes we buy the all ready boxed donut's too! Parking can be tight but it's Lebanon. Small Town. That's why! We like it here. It's not Zoinsville or Carmel. Shawn

It has amazing donuts and is very fast. Very wide variety and never disappoints. The staff are also very kind. A great place to get your donuts.

Not only doughnuts and cookies, but also great sandwiches! A definite to do while in Lebanon. The lines and parking get pretty rough on Saturdays around 9, but otherwise the wait isn't too bad.

Always a favorite--Titus donuts were delicious and the service great! Titus after 4-H turn in is a family tradition we really missed last year and so glad to have back!

Great selection and good service. Parking lot can get crowded so be careful. I've never tried anything other than their donuts, but worth the stop.

Their donuts never disappoint! Cakes are on the expensive side and taste dry and custom cakes still taste like they were made 3 days prior to scheduled pick up.

I'm ashamed I didn't know of this place sooner. Found on the side of a road in Lebanon, this bakery appears to be cranking out cakes, cookies, doughnuts, and all sorts of deliciousness. We went on a rainy mid-morning Saturday. With such a variety, we decided to get an assorted dozen. This can be picked by you or the staff. The staff was very helpful and seemed to have fun helping fill up our cardboard box of fried dough. Our favorites were all made with flour and had glaze, meaning everything was wonderful.

Friendly helpful employees. Many pastries to choose. All look delicious. Deli sandwiches, flavored popcorn tubs and even dog treats avl for purchase. Steady flow of customers. Worth the stop!

Highlights: has both great standard and specialty donuts. Locally owned and operated with friendly staff. Dine in, drive through, or carry out.
