Simply the best donuts locally. I used to make donuts. These are tip tier. Perfectly cooked, well-rounded donuts. Such a sweet couple who runs this shop. They deserve your business over the chains. Bitter-sweet writing this review because I feel like this is a hidden gem and the more people who know how good this place is the faster they will sell out.. BUT THEY DESERVE IT!! If you are picky about donuts like me you won't regret trying this place!

WARNING - They do sell out early because they are just THAT good! I do agree that they could make more to meet the demand of their growing popularity but I get there early enough to have a nice selection to take in to the office. They are NOT comparable to the bigger, more popular chains because you will not find a mound of stale decorations on top of your pastry. Great stuff first, very friendly and telling me many things. You able to order 2 Apple flitters per person, if you need more you should call them to make more in advance. Donuts are very nice price (most of them around $1) and very tasty. (soft/ smell nice) . According to them, they are all hand made. They do have coffee too but I did not try it . Some of the donuts has cream in side, they don not put cream inside until costumer buys it, so that donuts do not have to keep moisture into the donuts. Very fres

Amazing amazing amazing. The owner is the sweetest person in the world. Easily best donuts I've had in the entire Portland area coming here on work trips for years. Definitely proud dropping these donuts off to my customers and even bring them home to my family. Everyone loves these. Hand made with love and they take delicious to a new level.

Be careful coming here, because compared to tigard donuts, no donut shop will ever be as tasty. Nothing will ever compare. Make sure to come as early as possible, as they are often out of donuts as early as 8:30-9am. This family owned business makes their donuts in house every morning, and the quality is untouched. I recommend this shop to just about everyone who walks and talks.

Easily the best donuts ive had in Portland (and honestly just in general). The owner is so sweet and took the time to talk to us and explain the flavors/specials. Very quick and efficient service. Cant recommend this place enough!

Nice little mom & pop shop. The husband comes in every day except Sunday at 1am to bake donuts, & the wife comes in at 5 am to sell them. The donuts are always fresh and good, they are seriously the BEST donuts I've ever had. You have to be quick though, they only bake a certain amount & when they sell out, or when the clock hits 1pm whichever comes first, they close up. Some days they sell out before 9am so be aware. Their coffee is pretty good for pump coffee too.

The doughnuts are fresh, fluffy and very well made. The chocolate doughnut was soft like a freshly made doughnut should be and not overly sweet! Make sure to get there early for best variety.

Dangerously good donuts! I picked up a half dozen for my family one morning just after 5am and there was a large selection of fresh donuts to choose from. There is a minimum purchase amount if you want to use a credit or debit card, but it seemed reasonable to me. Coffee was also available, but I was only here for hand made donuts.

Best Donuts, its not a hipster location its basic atmosphere with the classic amazing donuts that really do melt in your mouth and the owners are very nice and friendly. Feels like your in a small town at the neighborhood donut shop, I love this place! My wife's family prefers the donuts here over voodoo downtown and I'd have to agree. Forget Blue Star and Voodoo. This tiny 'hole-in-the-wall' donut shop on hwy 99 has the freshest donuts I have ever tasted. I was raised (no pun intended) in a family ran, family owned Daylight Donuts growing up. This place is the closest that I have found, outside of inner city Portland, to those childhood donuts. Great donuts, really great prices, lovely lovely people, and they do it the way it's supposed to be done. They even fill your donut right in front of you. It smells like donuts when you walk in, the way it should be. If a donut shop doesn't smell like donuts when you walk in, be prepared to be disappointed. This place

Fantastic donuts! They fill them right there in front of you! The raspberry filled was our favorite and the "pig in a blanket" was very similar to a good kolache from Texas. Delicious! They do sell out early, their selection was limited when we arrived around 10am on a Saturday. Extremely friendly! We will be back!

The demand for their amazing donuts is high and they do sell out some/most days. These negative reviews are not real customers. They sound like jealous competition.

Best donuts in Portland (if you are a morning person). The donuts here are so good you won't want to so much as look a Voodoo donut ever again and the prices are much more reasonable. Only hangup is that since the donuts are made fresh in the shop every morning they regularly sell out by noon.

This is not Voodoo donuts. This will not due if you are looking to check out the giant, wild flavored donut craze happening in Portland. IF you are a tourist this is not for you. This is your average donut shop with all the same flavors you can get in your home city. Only very small and minimalistic decoration. Sure the donuts were very good as donuts go, the chocolate is made on-site, and the lady behind the counter was very nice. But nothing different or original than you can get anywhere.

Not sure why people don't take the time to understand why some company's run the way they do and give this place reviews. That being said yes I have gone there and they are out of what I like but that's also why I love them so much. Everything is fresh everyday and they sell out because they make it every morning. I am the transportation supervisor at EFI Recycling. I had a employee safety meeting I have to give this morning at 6 am. I called Tigard Donut Shop yesterday after they were closed. I put in my order on the message machine, and said I needed 3 dozen mixed donuts and wanted to pick them up at 5 am right when they open. I like the donuts, but good luck finding them after 9:30 even though they're open until 1:00 p.m. I can't tell you how many times I've come in early in the day and found them sold out. Why they don't make more or even enough is very strange and not good business.

Sadly I haven't had a chance to stop by the store myself, but a coworker brought me an apple fritter from Tigard Donut's, and it is by far the best one I've had to date. There's a limit of two per customer and I can see why the demand is so high. I'll be stopping by very soon to collect for myself.

Donuts are always fresh and tasty. The pigs in a blanket are really yummy too, they are a spicy sausage wrapped in bread dough that are pretty great.

This place frustrates me so much. The hours seem like a suggestion, I have been burned too many times driving here only to find out they have closed an hour or two early. Just change your hours if you don't plan on being open till 1 instead of making people annoyed.
