I like to stop in when I pass through Glenwood. Amazing donuts, but terrible customer service today. I asked for a box instead of a bag for my donuts because every other time they?ve been in a bag the icing goes everywhere and it?s a mess. The woman working got very disgusted when I asked for a box and she replied ?for 3 donuts?? I said yes, please. She then was just plain rude. Muttering and sighing and acting like she didn?t even want to help me. I will never go back.
My family was in town for a wedding. We picked up 2 dozen mixed sweet rolls for the groomsman. They were very happy. A small town bakery at its finest.
Awesome fresh baked donuts. Good bread. Great selection of donuts and pastries.

If you come to this bakery, and don't get the sour cream donuts, then you are a fool. These seriously might be the best donuts I've ever eaten, and I've lived in many cities and states. I'm salivating just thinking about them. HEAVEN!
These were, hands down, the best donuts and pastries I have tasted in my entire life. And I was literally a donut and pastry baker for years. I am always on the lookout for a competent bakery, and these blew me away. The glazed raised was so light and tender, it was like eating a gently sweetened cloud from heaven. The sour cream old fashioned was rich and moist but not heavy. But my favorite of all pastries is an apple fritter. And this was the best fritter I've ever tasted. It was fried longer or hotter
We have come here quite a few times, but we came in today with my in-laws who were from out of town. The women who helped us was HORRIBLY rude? every time my FIL had a question she had and extremely rude and sarcastic answer. I had to walk out before I escalated the situation. The food items have always been okay, but I can?t imagine coming back after today.
We loved the donuts! I had never had a flip before and it was SO GOOD. I grabbed some multigrain bread for sandwiches this next week. Would recommend!

Friendly lady at the counter offered me free food because she thought I waited long in line (only 5 minutes). I declined because it really wasn't a long wait. She insisted. The free item was great!

Well below my expectations.. This bakery is by far the worst home-town bakery I've ever been to. The donuts tasted like they were made from frozen dough and we're a few days old. Besides, the staff weren't friendly. I'd recommend the local Casey's gas station over this.
Sour cream are super good, the glazed raised are akin to Krisry Kream - simply amazing. The mini-s are a great way to cut a few calories while enjoying an amazing treat. The staff is a bit gruff, but good for them. The world is too PC and overly sensitive nowadays. Good old fashioned talented but kinda grumpy people are welcome in my world.
I tried the lemon filled Bismarck and it was awesome. Theresa's is big enough of a place for high quality baked goods like bread, cookies, and doughnuts, but still humble enough and small enough to give you that small town bakery feel and taste.
This is a very good bakery. Really miss her Cafe next to it. We use to take a ride to Glenwood just to have coffee and roll. Your LP Friends !

Rolls and bread always good. Stop in and treat yourself to a turnover or roll. Take some home for the kids. They will thank you for it!
