Kara and her husband made my husband?s grooms cake king cake tower. Everyone absolutely loved it! Kara was very easy to work with and bent over backwards for us. Everyone is still talking about how old yummy the king cakes were! Especially my out-of-state family. Will definitely be ordering several king cakes next season!
11.10.24 came for the first time to buy some donuts... I was greeted and my order was taken care of by the Sweet Asian girl at the counter. I ordered a glazed donut: 1 out of 5 stars I can't explain it, but it just wasn't Sweet enough or didn't have enough glaze probably on it. I ordered a cinnamon roll: 1 out of 5 stars. So I have been getting my king cakes from here along with all other confections to satisfy my sweet tooth since I moved back home . Pleasant service and delicious treats. Thee first time I visited it was the Sherwood store then I stumbled upon the Highland store and was surprised when I ran into the short lived prairieville one. Oh yeah I?m going wherever there?s a Thee Heavenly! One year I was so frequent the owner gave me a Zulu king cake (chocolate & coconut) how divine. Oh my! If you?ve never tried one
The donuts are AMAZING and I wish I could take a couple dozen boudin Kalashas back to our home state. The treats are wonderful, but the people running the shop are pretty awesome too.
Boudin kalatches.... Uh. Mazing. Also had to sample the sweet offerings. The eclair was huge and deliciously airy, filled with sweet cream and topped with a nice layer of milk chocolate. The apple fritter was sweet, cinnamony and mouth watering good, especially washed down with some strong dark roast.
Great friendly service but getting a 4 stars due to not offer bottle water, when I asked for tap water, it had no ice in it. I asked for ice & was told they didn?t have ice. They also had very limited selection of donuts. Do better owner/manager -how do you not have water!

I went in with 2 kids and ordered 4 doughnuts and they would not serve us and they served 2 people behind me and processed an Uber Eats order. So we walked out.
Waited over 45 minutes for 2 sprinkled donuts and when asked they told me there would be an even longer wait. Donuts don?t even taste good.

Actually the only thing about the king cake I bought..was cajun boudin king cake i give it a 3 out of 10 rating. More bread than boudin as a filler. Maybe stuff it more to get a bite of the bread and the filling at the same time, yes bread not sweetened ok. waited a day to make and that's what I got. I reccomend getting a regular traditional king cake or any other variety this year in 2024
Great different flavor Kingcakes.We want lemon but they only had blueberry left. Order on phone first.Was amazing.
My only regret was I actually came into early, but all-in-all the atmosphere was extremely friendly!!! I also probably had the best blueberry cake donut I've ever had.They also offer two different unique flavors of fritters(blueberry &peach) which in BR anything besides Apple pretty hard to come by. I cannot wait to come back and explore more of the donuts that they offer

I came in with my father and sister after a friend recommended that they had the best king cake in town. I couldn't be anymore satisfied than I was. Not just was the king cake delicious, they had the nicest people working there which reflected the owner who was amazing. We will definitely be back.
We always get these for delivery when we want a sweet weekend treat. Everything is so good and fresh. I love all the flavors of the cake donuts. I?ve never been inside either store, but they always call to make sure your satisfied with your order if they?re out of something.
There are always so many options I can never decide what to get. The staff is always patient and kind, and helpful to find the perfect choice! We are always treated like family when visiting, and the donuts are the best!

Update 6/24. This place doesn't care about COVID at all. Employees don't wear gloves and use bare hands to open inside of bag and them put donuts in same bag. Won't be going back. In the past they've been good but not today. Went in store and no one came to help. Waited for a while but wasn't gonna wait forever. Who ever worked today (4/19) lost business for you.
I purchased 2 king cakes from Heavenly donut for the first time for Mardi Gras. I?ve eaten donuts and apple fritters from Heavenly Donut in the past which were excellent. But I am very disappointed with their king cakes. After buying numerous king cakes from Harvest Foods in Geismar, I decided to try something new....the fried king cake at Thee Heavenly donut. The donuts were good?the lady that checked us out was RUDE! Absolutely unnecessary. She informed us that she?d been there 30 years?yet she couldn?t count and tried to act like it was our fault (eye roll here) time to retire?ruined the experience and won?t return.
We ordered an almond cream cheese king cake that was out of this world. Our entire office raved over how moist and delicious this particular king cake was...highly recommend trying their cakes. AMAZING
Wonderful food and even better people!! The Boudin Kolache is great, the cheddar/sausage Kolache was super cheesy and tasty. The donuts were delicious. You can tell that they mix their own chocolate sauce. It is heavenly!!

Delicious! The cinnamon rolls are huge, I recommend the one with honey icing. Great kolaches as well, we had the boudin kolache and it was fantastic.
I wish I took pictures , i went in, nobody was there, I walked around it was deserted. I went to get a king cake, waited 10 minutes nobody?s showed up, I walked all the way to the kitchen, there was nobody in the store. This is not good for business
