This place is deplorable. I ordered a cheeseburger, came home, took a bite and it was completely raw on the inside. I called to let them know of the issue. When I arrived the girl at the register only made matters worse emphasizing the raw meat that I almost consumed. We found this little gem a year ago while visiting St. Louis. I'm from St. Louis but live in South Carolina and come for a week every year to see family and friends. The donuts are fantastic, they remind me of the donuts you'd find in mom and pop shops in the 80s and 90s. My favorite donut is a glazed donut and theirs is perfect. Ok, so let me just start off by saying that I live in South Carolina. My husband has family here in STL, so once a year, we are here visiting family. A year ago, I was searching for new places to eat and stumbled upon this hidden gem that must be St. Ann's best kept secret. Upon walking in the door, you are greeted by a friendly staff who are ready to help you, take your order, and answer any questions you may have. You also see two huge display cases of their homemade donuts, bagels, cakes, cannolis.

While I may not have been there, I have ordered from there a few times to get through my work day. My order has always been made fresh and exactly how I asked for it. The taste has always been amazing. I haven?t met the employees, but the occasional act of kindness that I receive from them makes me happy to know they are there. I highly recommend giving this place a try.

The donuts are delicious! even though I went there kind of late they still had a variety of fresh donuts. I got to try their vanilla latte but, I would not recommend it if you are an expert coffee drinker ?? overall the service was cordial and fast, the place was very clean, a small outdoor sitting area and great parking. Let me say wow!!!! Fist...the staff knows what they are doing. Everyone was so nice and helpful. The donuts looked amazing, but we opted for omelets instead. You better come hungry. This was a pretty good experience. I ordered a breakfast sandwich & donuts with hashbrowns but the order was a little botched. When I told someone about the error, they fixed it & brought it back in no time. Everything was delicious and I liked how the local community really supported the shop. There was a family oriented feel to it and I'm dropping by the next time I'm in the STL.

Tried it when I read an article that said this was one of the top 100 donut places in the USA. So I went in for donuts and did not try any of their other menu items. Got enough to share with the family. We all agreed the donuts were good, but we have had better and actually prefer donuts from two other donut shops we frequent. The Sweet Spot Cafe is an excellent place to visit if you are in the mood for tea/coffee and dessert. I was traveling in route to the St Louis Lambert International Airport and I was in the mood for tea and dessert, so I decided to try the Sweet Spot Cafe. They have a large selection of homemade donuts and pastries, so I decided to order several donuts, an Apple Fritter and a cannoli. The Apple Fritter and Blueberry filled donut were amazing, the other items were good but those two items were noteworthy.

This place is pretty cool. The donut solution was humongous!!! I got a breakfast sandwich with sweet potato fries(never got the fries) they gave me regular instead. My boyfriend also got a breakfast sandwich with cheese fries( never got the fries) got regular instead. The sandwiches were good, but nothing made them stand out from the rest. We loved the coffee options at the drink bar. That was a nice plus.

This place is worth a try if you've never been. They have a huge amount of donut options. I enjoyed the butterfinger chocolate cake and the m&m chocolate cake flavor. My ham egg and cheese on a whole wheat bagel was hot and fresh. My husband says that the burger was mediocre, but he really loved his glazed donut. Friendly staff as well.

I consider myself a donut connoisseur, and I've had donuts at several of the popular spots around town. The Sweet Spot's donuts are among the best in town. I'm a big apple fritter enthusiast, and I really enjoyed the style here. Tons of apple bits and great cinnamon flavor. The strawberry cheesecake donut was superb, as were the old fasioneds and the glazed chocolate cake donut. 10/10 I'll be back the next time I'm in north county.

Best spot in the city for a gyro and the best flavorful falafel, I ate my sandwich so fast I forgot to get a picture. My boyfriend got a steak and egg bagel. Tried the Dubai chocolate strawberry cup here be mindful of who makes it because if we pay $16 I want the kataifi to actually be mixed in with the pistachio paste as in the promotional photo (ours were not). I drive all the way from the City near downtown, just to grab a half dozen of donuts from Sweet Spot. The donuts are so yummy, soft, and they aren't dry or greasy like other places I've tried in the region. They have unique flavors and donuts you dont see at other spots (like their amazing strawberry cruller). Would highly recommend them!

We actually were in a restaurant adjacent to it, when the owner last recommended us about this shop. We rushed here. It?s full of sweets and other goodies. We ate a cannoli, and two different types of filled donuts. They were pretty good. The cannoli was average but the donuts were stunning, especially the creams were not too sweet. We got a dozen of falafel too. The falafel came with a dip of hummus. It was simply great. An absolutely stunning place.

I went in because there was a post my Facebook friend shared about a steak egg and cheese bagel ( similar to what McDonald's used to serve) since I was not far from the area I decided to Google the sweet spot, it was 12min from my location so I decided to place an online order for 2 steak egg and cheese bagel sandwiches and they did not disappoint. I ordered 2 burgers, a gyro, and a dozen donuts. The burgers and gyro were fine, but half of the donuts I got had mold on them. As you can see I took a couple bites out of a donut before realizing this. So unfortunate and unsanitary.... wonder what else isn't being checked. Edit: I gave them a call and I was told that that was flour that had settled in the bottom and it's ok to eat. I'm still very skeptical since other donut places I've been to don't have this issue.

I've been wanting to go here since I moved to St. Ann, it was so worth it and I wish I had gone sooner! Staff were incredibly kind and patient and the coffee is so good! The gyro egg and cheese on a pita was a great sandwich. The two donuts I tried were good, not great. The apple fritters weren?t consistent. Mine was overcooked and underglazed. The powdered sugar custard filled (it would be Bavarian cream but had some different name written on the display card) was a tasty, soft cake but with very little filling. Only the last two bites got a bit of the custard.

We have a donut shop in Paducah Kentucky called Red's Donut. We think the glazed donuts are the best you'll find anywhere. I will say that the cake donuts here are the best I've ever eaten. Always a great meal every time we go! Employees are friendly. Clean place, too. We visit sweet spot almost every Saturday to eat. My only suggestion would be to get a baby changing table. Lots of family go in there. I can't be the only one who has to change their baby in the car because there isn't one. If they don't get one by winter, we won't be going back until spring, it will be way too cold to change my baby in the car.
