The Original Rainbow Donuts

It was my first time at Rainbow donuts and let me tell you I have never had donuts like these before they are made freshly everyday and taste so good! The staff is so nice and helpful it is a great clean environment price is very affordable I recommend this place to everyone!

Picked up a dozen just to try. Doesn?t seem to be much difference in taste of donuts place to place. Donuts were good but nice day so wanted to sit outside but tables were absolutely covered in bird poop. The bathrooms were marked out of service doors locked. Not sure how i ate the donuts looking at cleanliness of place. I guess took donuts home to forget about eating there. Blocking those images out did enjoy the donuts. No plans to return though. Cannot unsee the outside tables.

Huge selection of specialty made donuts with an amazing assortment of toppings! Their Cafe Sud Au drink is amazing!! Lots of rich spices like orange zest, and maybe vanilla, and a huge dose of caffeine! I love it!! Plus, the staff is super friendly and efficient. First time at rainbow donuts 8/16/23 I got 3 dozen assorted for $50. The lady at the window was nice and threw in a big donut for me to try for free. And it didn?t disappoint. It was soft and pillow like without being overly soft and the flavor wasn?t overly sweet. I definitely would come try the more fun flavors

Super good donuts! We stopped in close to closing and bought a fritter along with some other donuts. We were surprised to learn it was a Cherry fritter because we are used to Apple fritters, but what a fun surprise! So much flavor and so fresh.

Drove all the way from Scottsdale mountain. What happened to your jelly filled donuts?? They are awful. The raspberry filling in your jelly filled donuts tastes so artificial. It used to be dark and rich with the seeds--homemade. Now the raspberry looks neon pink /red, like chemicals. The cream stuffed donuts don't taste like they used to. Seems like you are now getting your jellies and Bavarian creams in bulk. The only edible donut was the chocolate twist. No working restroom inside??

I have been before and raved. I'm gonna rave again. I still hugely suggest the blueberry fritter. My fav! But I really don't think you can go wrong with anything you choose. As I walked in, my mind was set on "just a half dozen this time". There is a magical spell that is cast as soon as that door closes behind you. There HAS to be. Our fav donut shop in the world... literally World! I love this Maple and Bacon concoction since I spend lots of time in a Muslim country where bacon is either turkey type or beef type or English (not my style). They have a drive thru but go inside! You can see all the pretty delicious things and might find a new fav.

What happened to the Boston Cream Pie donut!? ??????? We've been going here for over a year. The only reason we go to this place is because the pastry cream in the Boston Cream Pie is really good. But now they changed it to some weird really sweet icing. They didn't even have it as a filling, they just cut the donut in half and put the icing in between. This family is amazing! I don't do doughnuts due to gluten allergies but I drive an app and always pickup here. They are always friendly I get a doughnut on the house for my son free of charge.

Was closed at 11:30am on a Tuesday, 14-nov. No signs explaining why. Was really looking forward to the maple bacon donuts. I hope they haven't gone out of business.

The Maple Bacon was unreal. Best I?ve had. I eat a lot of bacon and usually on a donut the bacon is an afterthought and either too chewy or half-burnt. Their bacon was the perfect crispy texture, and the donut was a great bake with a perfect sweetness. We got a variety dozen and all the flavors were great, my wife assures me the chocolate was delicious (I?m not a chocolate guy). Nice People, Delicious Donuts, check it out!

I ordered 30 dozen donut holes for pick up this weekend. As I picked up my order, I also had my newborn with me- carrying her in her car seat. The lady who helped me at the counter was so kind and took all 3 large donut boxes out to my car for me! It was so sweet! The ordering/payment process was also simple over the phone. The donut holes were sooo delicious, too (glazed, chocolate, and powdered)!

Recently found out about Cronuts and found that this location had them. Super tasty, but don't buy them cause I want them all to myself. They have a variety of tasty donuts there and are eaten up quickly when brought home.

I like that the donuts are kept in relatively enclosed cases (pandemic-friendly), and the staff is amazing. We are lucky to live within 10 minutes of this place, but it is worth a much longer drive. Their coffees are equally impressive. Don't miss this spot!

Rainbow donuts has top tier donuts. It's not just about the toppings but about the quality of the dough. I'm a regular customer of rainbow donuts and I wouldn't have it any other way. I have had people bring donuts from Bosa Donuts and Dunkin donuts too my work, and I hate to slander them this way, but they got nothin on Rainbow donuts. I love the chocolate Bavarian cream.They are a good size and they put a lot of custard in. I live very close so I like to go there often. The only reason I just gave them 3 stars is because they don't keep inventory made. I am usually there between 9am-10am and they are out of mostly everything for the day.?? I understand they probably cater mostly to the working people on their way to work, but they need to refill the supply.

This donut shop is a often overlooked gem. Tucked away in a little strip mall, this location offers a cute cafe in addition to the wide selection of donuts. Not only will you find your traditional style donuts, they also offer twists or modern takes on donuts and pastries. Do yourself a favor and stop in to sample some of the delights. The staff is just as great as the donuts they serve!

Best doughnuts in town by far! I go every Saturday morning with zero regrets. I used to think a much larger chain with the initials KK and also DD were good, but they don't even compare to Rainbow!! Shop local and support amazing small businesses like Rainbow Doughnuts!

I absolutely love Rainbow donuts. Particularly, this location. The owners are amazing and when I worked next door, they used to always make a special order of the clam chowder. I went there recently and even got a few extra donut holes. Their donuts are always the perfect bite.

This is the one and only O.G. Rainbow Donuts. Don't be fooled--all the others are impostors. Been coming here since I was a kid and will be going here as long as I live in Phoenix. The best place in the valley for donuts, hands down. Their raspberry jelly-filled donuts are especially good, unlike other places that have extremely sweet jelly in an already sugary donut, rainbow's jelly is just right, not too sweet and not too tart.

I googled donuts while in Phoenix and this place showed up. I don't eat donuts much but these are the absolute best donuts I have ever had. Got the large apple fritter it was just awesome !

For months my family and I were going to this place EVERY DAY, and I do mean everyday. However, lately the donuts haven't taste the same. To the point that I could not finish the bite I took out of my donut. I do not know what change they made between late September 2018 and early October 2018 but something is off.

We got 4 donuts, and they all had the same weird flavor. Maybe dirty oil? Definitely not going back.

Probably the best donuts I've ever had. Made fresh with real ingredients. Won't go back to dunkin that's for sure and we never ate those cheap safeway ones to start with. Friendly staff, terrific selection and a very competitive price. Customers for life!

Superior donuts, better than most other places. Fresh, daily made, and delicious. Large selection, friendly staff and they have cool donuts like the Cronut and maple bacon bars. There are other rainbow donuts locations but this is the original rainbow donuts.

Love the donuts but the customer service was horrible. There was nobody else there and yet I was made to feel like my being there was an inconvenience. Probably won?t go back to the CaveCreek location.

Great selection, we went at 10:30am on Sunday expected them to be picked over - they still had a TON of selection. And they were soooo good! Their whip cream is to die for! Their donuts are huge and they dont try to squish them all into one box :)

Nice Donuts but they could add more powdered sugar on their donut holes and they need to buy brand new picnic tables and decorate the windows more friendly with flowers and keep them on the Windows because they have so much space they should also put a nice welcome mat in the front that's colorful and nice they need a big remodel update their bathroom is terrible the fan is so loud you can't even hear yourself breathe they need complete remodeling an update

The employees are not real friendly but the donuts are so good that I could care less who is handing them to me. My mom and I stumbled on this place by accident and we are obsessed. There have been a few donuts here and there that aren't great but 90% have been fantastic.

The peanut butter and jelly donut topped with tiny pieces of finely chopped peanuts, the bacon maple with real bacon slices, like good enough to rent a cot there and live on this stuff alone! Original Rainbow Donuts is very good and tasty. If you are in Cave Creek and Greenway craving a donut this is the place you need to go. They are very good coffee.

Very expensive, and the lady wasn't too pleasant. Place is clean, nice variety, but damn $2.50 a donut for a maple bar, with three chunks of bacon on top. Former donuts at Albertsons are better

Not to shabby of a place. Donuts seem fresh, coffee is always hot, I like the old fashioned donuts, it's a little cramped in the inside, but it's clean and that's all that matters. oh, and they have a great variety to try.

This place is like crack, be careful. One bite of that mouth watering delicious blueberry cake doughnut and you will have glorified taste buds leaping for joy and excitement. The jelly glazed melts in your mouth like crispy creme and the middle is filled more than Santa's sack on Christmas Eve.
