Busy little donut shop with lots of tasty looking donuts. They only had one vegan flavor when I visited... It was an airy cake donut with lemon glaze and quite good - wish they had a few more vegan choices. Shared parking lot, a couple dedicated spots for quick donut pickup.

I grew up eating ham and cheese croissants every morning. This place has the BEST ham and cheese croissant in the valley. I?ve been everywhere! Best meat to cheese ratio and def don?t forget to ask them to warm it up! Their donuts are so fire. I love their not hi donuts, not to sweet and chewy! As always when we travel, we look for a local place for donuts. Thought you couldn't go wrong with a place called The Local Donut. I was right. These donuts were amazing. Got a dozen of the traditional, and they did not disappoint. Picked 6 different types, glazed, chocolate, sugar, cinnamon, red velvet glazed, and old fashioned, and they all were so good. Stay away from the chains, even the PHX one, and find The Local. Worth it.

Everyone is very nice and helpful there. Donuts are yummy and unique. There is parking in the front and the back but it was full so we parked on a residential street nearby and walked over and saw others doing this too. My boyfriend got a vanilla ice coffee and I got a hot coffee. I recommend the cherry pie donut and my boyfriend recommends the cinnamon crumble donut (he says it's to die for).

If you?re looking for a place for donuts you have to make it this place. We live in Oregon but come here multiple mornings every time we visit AZ. Hands down the best donut shop in Arizona. This location is in Scottsdale off Hayden and they make the donuts fresh everyday. I love the option to order ahead online for the specific ones that I desire or the fact that I can call ahead to order. My favorite donut is between the PB&J or the Pineapple fluff donut. Only worth it for the specialty doughnuts I have to admit, I?m thinking about what I saw someone saying in their review, how no doughnut place can get 5 stars unless their prices are practical (i.e. not 2~4+ dollars per doughnut), and I eventually had to agree. This is a small place. The donuts were great. But the kid that took my order seemed very grumpy. I was trying to make conversation with him and he was not too responsive. When dealing with customers you have to have a great personality this can set places apart.

We are from out of town and wanted to find a better than your grocery store kind of donut. This is the place. I would put it up there with the other gourmet specialty donut shops like Voodoo Donuts, Blue Star and The Donut Bar. Loved the variety of flavors (and your classics too!) Delish donuts! They had a lovely selection of donuts even though most of them were sold out. We ordered the strawberry mochi, french cruller, original glazed, and and chocolate bar. Overall, their donuts were not greasy at ALL, they left no grease spots on the tissue paper that they laid on and they were not overly sweet. However, I would say they lack complexity of flavor and were a bit bland, but that might be the donuts that I got. You need to get there early to get the good donuts. The strawberry icing

The donuts were awesome. Though the fruit pebbles on the donut were stale. My favorite had to be the s?mores donut. They taste like the real deal. The donut shop still had a lot of options when I went an hour before they closed which was great. The Local Donut has a cute store front and sell really cute stickers and shirts also.

Once you go here, Dunkin will be dead to you. We've had the local donut for breakfast at the office twice now and they are the hands down best if you're going to treat yourself to donuts. The variety of the specialty donuts is crazy. There's all kinds of combinations, and the traditional stuff is done really well. There are also danishes and other things. If you want to treat yourself, definitely check this place out.

The owners of Local Donut have been in the donut game for a while so they know what's up! There is a science to creating the perfect dough and cake which I think they've nailed down. Compare it to other shops and you'll know what I mean. Great job!

The best doughnuts I have EVER had. I can no longer eat store-bought, BOSA, Dunkin' or Krispy Kreme. I also love their almond, chocolate and ham/cheese croissants. The staff is always friendly and give the place a low key, welcoming vibe.

Don't let the drab exterior fool you. This is a gourmet donut shop with an amazing selection, great service, and unbeatable prices. Price came out to $22-23 for 6 donuts. The donuts I got ranged from $3.5 to +$4 each. I expect a lot from a donut that is over $3 to almost $5 each. They are a good donut but price wise I?d say worth half what they sell for.

I absolutely love this place. Especially now that they have mochi donuts they will forever have a loyal customer. Their donuts were already crazy good before that with their seasonal donuts they shuffle in and out.
