Love this place so much, I?m up here at least 2 times a week. they always have great food, drinks and great people. I?d rather come here than any other place. but I can say there is one older lady that works at the cash register when I went in with my niece and she complained that my niece picked out 8 pieces of taffy and she had to ring them up one by one said they just need to sell them by pounds instead of allowing people to pick what they want and complained saying they need to write what?s in the bags

My aunt and I stopped in to just look around, we ended up eating our dinner there. The staff was amazing and the food delicious. Lots of pretty things to look at also inside the store. We will definitely be back!!

Purchased a 8'X12' minibarn, was happy with the minibarn but it had the wrong floor, Andrew was great and offered to build me a whole new one, no problem what so ever, new one was delivered two days ago and we are extremely happy, cannot say enough good things about them, highly recommended!!!

Everyone here was very kind. Donuts and sandwiches are great! They even gave us some granola to try for free since it was an our first time in!

Absolutely love this place. Amazing food and the new grilled cheese with brisket wrapped in bacon is a heavenly experience ?? ??. Me.and wife go here every Saturday. Our must haves are pot pies cornbread pasta salad. Pizza dip fresh bread fresh eggs sweet and spicy snack sticks and Delhi meats.

The people seem friendly and have some pretty good products. Some of it is out of my price range. But, I figured that it's a combination of inflation and supply and demand.

This place has decorations, produce, candy, furniture, dry goods, cleaning supplies, outdoor stuff, meat and baked goods. Everything looks and tastes amazing.

Fantastic selection of food and other goodies. I haven?t had a chance to try everything, but the pies, donuts, and corn chips are delicious! Everyone is super friendly too. I will be back.

I ordered a 20x8 run in shed with a 4x8 tack room added. Andrew set me up nicely. He is very professional and very good pricing. It was built exactly the way I wanted and set up and delivery was awesome. Very satisfied all the way around, definitely recommend this place to anyone wanting a shed or building of any type. Lots of great deli sandwiches. Very terrific glazed doughnuts, so sweet. Their cookies, baked goods, salads are very delicious. The hot deli looks great. Their daily specials look delicious. We enjoyed going to The Home Place. They have the best deli meats and cheese products. The fried pies are so delicious. I stock up on my spices when we go there. My husband enjoys getting his favorite donuts it makes him happy ?? We highly recommend you to go visit their store. They've done some changes to the store. Added a lot more delicious items. The store looks amazing. You have to come see for yourself!!

Great place to stop and get sweets! The peanut butter pie is Amazing and so are their donuts. Their dog treats outside are such a good price that I always stock up for my lab. The pizzles are only a little over a dollar and if I go to Wal-Mart I'm spending $6.90 for a bag of 3.

Store was very busy on Saturday afternoon, but we enjoyed our visit. Panini with roast beef and provolone on sour dough was delicious! If you prefer mayo rather than miracle whip, note it on your order. Have fun!

Unique grocery store, offers everything from furniture and home goods to homemade foods. The hot bar food items are spectacular! The jalepeno wrapped chicken and baked beans are a favorite at our home. Wide selection of home made foods, hot, refrigerated and frozen options. Their gluten free desserts are outstanding.

I stop here once or twice a week for lunch meat and my salt rising bread (this is the only place I have found my favorite bread). Prices on deli meat is comparable to big name stores and they are usually having a sale on one type or another. Also their donuts are huge!! They have jams and jellies and a large selection of baking ingredients.

I have purchased many items in the baked goods section and was always very happy. Today I got one of my favorite items; the lemon bars. They were downright awful. It seems to me that recently they have changed their ingredients to poor quality to save money. I should have known when I looked at them since they didn?t look as nice as before. When you pay top dollar for baked goods you should get top quality products. The lemon was chewy whereas before it was smooth and soft. There was an odd taste of

Great place for amish goods. Sandwiches are great! Baked goods are even better. Staff are very friendly and helpful! For me it took about an hour and a half to get here. Might be a good day trip for you. Come see for yourself. You won't be disappointed!!

I love visiting the Home Place! My kids really enjoy the bulk candy choices, as well as the cookies (and samples lol). I love the quality furniture, the wide array of birdhouses and feeders, and all the incredible food options they have available inside. It Is absolutely worth a stop in just to walk around if you are in the area!

So many delicious choices here. I got really good homemade chicken salad, some of the biggest glazed donuts I have ever seen, fresh homemade soft carmels and a chocolate peanut butter pie this go around. If your looking for good price on lunch meat this is a great place to grab some. If you visit you definitely won't be disappointed in their delicious varieties of items ??.

This place is a gem. We stopped in for lunch on a little day trip and we were not disappointed. I haven't had Ham Salad that good since my Great-Grandmother passed. A dessert of Candied Bacon and a Coca-Cola on the porch in a rocking chair was a fair way to spend some time. I picked up some bulk candies and snacks. It is easy to spot from the road and there was plenty of parking.

So much to like at this place. I'm so glad we have a bright spot in this area for great food, bakery, deli, all things home made.

Update: April 2023 Two more visits and each time I had the Beef Brisket and it is a Wonderful Sandwich. Very happy and based on my last several visits I have updated the Stars from 3 to 5. Nice store shows well but too pricey for this old timer. Purchased a Reuben Sandwich the other day and was very disappointed. Bread had no substance falling apart and difficult to eat. The amount of meat and Sauerkraut was so little the flavor was hard to detect needless to say won't be ordering it again.

Prices are very high,lots of products they have brought in bulk and repackaged with their name on food products,sale on lunch meats are average,furniture is made in Homes county, oh. Shipped down here but very high in price.if buying furniture, I would go to homes County in Ohio as millersburg,Walnut Creek,you will save a bundle of money.

The sales lady "Cashier" was very nice and helpful as was the deli girls. There was also a male worker putting out foods in the coolers that was friendly. The owners "Delbert and Susan Schlabach" business is a pleasant place to visit. Very clean and it smells heavenly when I go in always, the pastries are scrumptious, and the deli meats and cheeses are always fresh. The furniture is of excellent quality and the prices are decent. This place has alot of great Amish type foods and handmade products available. Prices aren't too bad at all. Check them out on ur way through Georgetown ohio

Great variety of food, everything from fudge to deli. I purchased ground buffalo, homemade sage sausage, and chicken salad. All were really good.

I've been to many different amish stores, but this one is probably the best. They make the most delicious donuts ever, but their friendly atmosphere is where you get the most enjoyment! Definitely a shop worth visiting time and time again for all things from food to furniture to even animal feed!

The Home Place is a great store with quality products. The staff are friendly and the food is excellent! My personal favorite is the steak sandwich on a pretzel bun. I also like the salads they serve. The store has a great atmosphere and is packed with furniture, food, and more. I highly recommend checking it out!

The Home Place is amazing. Talk about a snackers Paradise. They also have a large selection of premium cold cuts, and fabulous baked goods. All kinds of pickled goodies and baking products. Great staff, pretty large selection, the donuts and ribs they serve towards the end of the week is great!! Plenty of other foodstuffs there. Everything from candy, to various types of flours and grains as well as a deli and fridge section. Not just that either lots of knickknacks too! Some are even free to grab.

I love everything we buy there. Can't afford the furniture, maybe someday but it's not likely. They have a great deli as well as other food items you don't see many places. The people are nice and they have beautiful ladies room.

Fantastic shopping experience. A bit higher than a Kroger, but you are getting a much better quality. Today's visit was 3 pounds of Colby, 2 pounds bologna cut thick, 2 fresh pretzels, bagels, 8 different jams, bacon, and a couple other items. Spent 55.00. Side note the pretzels are fresh made, bigger than auntie Ann's and only 2.00 each. Omg wonderful. Gave us two fresh glazed donuts as we left to enjoy on the way home. Melt in mouth fantastic.

Their Maple Bacon donut is hands down the best donut I have ever had! We are new to Brown County and have been multiple times already. You've gotta get there early if you want specifics but it's well worth it. Everything we have tried is high quality and will keep us coming back.... my waistline is in danger!!

I have been going here since Delbert and Susan opened this store here. I used to drive to Seaman Ohio to Keims and Miller?s. But not since they opened. Delbert and Susan are wonderful people, nice, kind, and sweet. There children are the same. A store with a wide variety of homemade goods, deli, jellies, and other bulk goods. They have the best homemade granola and a sandwich club. Excellent service and food and people. Stop in and check there place out!??

Ordered a brisket sandwich Disgusting most to fat very little meat and no taste. It was on a old pretzel bun sauce was something I have never tasted be for. I am not a picky eater but will never order again. I don't normally write review's but this sandwich was the worst

Very friendly and very busy! They've started making the best made fresh doughnuts that you have to get there pretty early to get a variety of doughnuts. One of my favorites is the small ones on a stick! It's so worth getting there early!

Absolutely love this place there food is great and we normally order for about 16 guys at a time and never once have they messed up our order and its always ready on time. NOT to mention the best bake good around.

We stopped here while on a drive in the country earlier today. We arrived just as Delbert was closing up (they were catering a wedding this evening). He took the time to reopen the store so that we could shop. The homemade granola is amazing, as are the cream horns. Awesome people, glad we stumbled across the place. We will definitely be back.

Baked goods are delicious , especially the donuts and cracked wheat bread. A big selection of lunch meat and cheese.at bargain prices. They also have bbq. The ribs are super. The only thing I've found I didn't like is the frozen deluxe pizza. Thawed it to bake and it had water running out of it. That got crust soggy which let melted cheese drip inside oven. Smokey mess.

Excellent!!! Love this place. Smells amazing, incredibly built furniture, food and baked goods are sooo good, especially the Apple pie! I come often with my dad. Even if just for a grilled chicken sandwich.

Honesty and integrity. This place was built with pride and quality. Treat others the way you would like to be treated and offer a quality product. He likes to hire people who have the same beliefs that he has. Quality people and quality products. Like some others have said , some of his products are pricey, there must be a reason for it but only he knows.

There's a wide variety of merchandise and it's usually pretty busy. Used to stop here quite often for pastries and doughnuts but hadn't been for a few months. Last Saturday might have been an "off" day but I wasn't impressed with the doughnuts, cream horns, or the BlackBerry jam cake I purchased. In the past it was wonderful, but this past Saturday it was not.

Cool place. There?s a lot of interesting stuff. Unfortunately the workers are so rude. The cashier didn?t even look at me when she rang up my order, then I said thank you (twice) and she didn?t even reply. In fact, she didn?t even speak to me throughout the entire transaction.
