Customer Reviews

The Donut Cafe & Coffee House has the best donuts in the Texarkana area (Texas side & Arkansas side) both for the taste and the price, and the staff there are so very friendly and courteous. If you go there for donuts or other treats, be sure to go fairly early so that you don't miss out on your favorite item because since, they are extremely popular sometimes the one you want could be sold out.

Fun little donut shop with a great selection of donuts, kolaches, pigs in blankets and other baked goods. I added a cranberry muffin to my order and it was the best I?ve had. Super friendly staff were eager to help. They have extensive coffee selections as well. I would highly recommend the Doughnut Cafe.

Visiting from out of town - so glad we stopped in. Wish we had more places like this back home. Got a sausage biscuit, kolach, and a dozen of their finest for the trip back home. All were excellent. Would highly recommend.

Donuts were so delicious. We stopped by to try them on our roadtrip back to Texas. I wish we?d gotten more!

Love this place! Both food and drink are fantastic, the atmosphere inside is very relaxing, and the service is excellent! I highly recommend stopping by in the morning for a croissant and some coffee!

The service is phenomenal and the food is good too! I asked for a croissant sandwich with a donut at the bun and it was delicious

We stopped here in our way to LackLand Air Force Base. I have a feeling this is where the locals go. Very fresh croissant and cinnamon twist as well as great coffee.

I've been seeing this place for a really long time now, and always wanted to try it out. I finally remembered about it before going to a huge coffee chain. I got the white chocolate latte with cinnamon and a butter croissant. The croissant was light and fluffy and warm. My latte was classic and yummy. The service here was fast and friendly. And you can tell it was genuine. I will come back to this place over a Starbucks any day!!!

Really quiet and calm place to have some good breakfast. Comfortable seating, both inside and outside. Regular donut shop menu items and good prices.

What a cute little donut shop right smack in the middle of Richmond Rd. The staff was super friendly and the donuts and coffee were really good. The interior has a southern rustic feel to it. There is outside seating and a drive through too. I'm not crazy about the parking lot but it's still a great shop.

While the location is inconspicuous and easily missed if you aren't looking for it, this gem is the perfect coffee/donut spot. The food was fantastic. The coffee was classy and comforting. The service was spectacular. 12/10 all around!!

Awesome place for donuts. Plenty of filling in the donuts. The plastic box are donuts going to the homeless shelter.

I made this "my hangout" while visiting family in Texarkana. Great sweets and aromatic ?? coffees. Great place to chill. They have a busy drive thru, too! A++.

Great service and great donuts, picked up two dozen mixed and everyone loved them. They really enjoyed the pumpkin spice donuts.

Grandma said she used to drive through here and get donut holes. That was in the 70's.

My oh my!!! 1st time here...very clean, staff extra friendly & helpful. Had a super delicious ham/egg/cheese croissant (so fresh, warm & tasty), cinnamon twist, chocolate frosted donut, donut holes & a yummy Carmella hot caramel latte. ALL was top notch! Only problem was tiny parking lot...but don't miss out on this place!!!!!

Super chill place. My wife and I stopped to get some coffee while we were on our way to Dallas. We had our dog with us and while she didn't enter the store, they had this nice cozy cabana thing attached to their store where we hung out enjoying our coffee, food, and donuts. It was altogether a very pleasant experience and we'll likely stop by on our way back!

Best place for coffee and donuts in Texarkana. I was a faithful Starbucks customer until I found this place. The coffee and espresso at the Doughnut Cafe & Coffee is so much better and is smooth and rich not bitter. All these people going to Starbucks and sitting out in the street trying to get into the parking lot are wasting so much time and money. Plus you?ll be supporting a local business while getting a superior product. They have a friendly staff, a very warm and welcoming shop and a cute little patio

This place is amazing. The doughnuts are absolutely delicious. I've tried other local shops and they don't compare.

This hads always been and will always be my fave go-to donut shop! They have a hige selection to choose from and the donuts are always so light, soft and fluffy! Amd the staff and owner are some of the nicest people I have ever met in my life

This place is WAY WAY overhyped ! I went this week at about 7:30am. The speaker girl was nice. The guy who's probably the owner looked overwhelmed. No communication with customers either. Glazed, chocolate and donut holes were all I got but they were GROSS ! They were stiff and cold like they were in the fridge !! Not even CLOSE to being fresh! They tasted exactly like the cheap store bought donuts and were SO dry! Like, what in the world !

The donut was perfect. The space was warm and inviting. Man behind counter was cold. Did not feel welcome even though he said good morning. Too bad. It's such a cute place. Must have changed owners at some point. ?????

Went here as they showed good reviews. They are not worth the stop. The cashier barely spoke English and had to get the other gentleman to assist. He did not understand much better and had no clue what half & half was. No decaf options and informed us is was Starbuck coffee! The apple fritter had zero apples. Not Recommended!

My friend and I had coffee, kolaches, and doughnuts here a couple of weeks ago. The doughnuts and kolaches were great but the coffee was absolutely fantastic! I got a regular coffee with caramel syrup and steamed almond milk. I had to get another one to-go because it was that good. I will definitely visit again the next time I'm in Texarkana. I would much rather spend my money at this establishment than any national chain. I didn't get any pictures because of all of the cackling and catching up we were doin

Went for the first time this morning and got attitude in the drive through because she couldn't hear my order, so I went inside. She's still yelling at other drive through folks because she can't hear them either, then proceeds to give me the same attitude inside as if I'm in the wrong for coming in. Try fixing your speaker/microphone system and maybe we can all have a better day.

Went here based on other reviews. Bad idea! Neither of the people behind the counter understood English well. We asked for a latte with cream and they didn't know what I was asking for even though they have an espresso bar. I ended up with two coffees with coffee mate creamer. Also tried a couple of donuts that were cold and greasy. Don't waist your time here.

Wonderful selection of donuts, eclairs, beignets, breakfast croissants, and kolaches, as well as lots of other delectable nibbles and treats. Wash it down with handcrafted coffees and teas, or a generous selection of other beverages. The staff is a perfect example of Southern charm and hospitality! Get there early! They open at 5am, and close at 1pm, but they're picked over liked a field after a swarm of locusts by noon!! I couldn't have asked for a more lovely experience while visiting Texarkana.

Nice little doughnut cafe. Apple fritter was GREAT! Very clean and the staff was very nice. Breakfast sandwiches looked really good but we didn't get one. Oh and the blueberry cake doughnut was very good too!

Delicious donuts just need more space outside for cars that are lined up and outside seating would be nice.

Everything is soo good. The people are awesome. You don?t wait long. The food makes me want to come back. But the coffee is a 10/10. If I could buy coffee everyday it would be from here!

The young ladies that wait on you in the drive through are rude. They don?t seem like they want to be there. I would help they aren?t related to the owners Bc how how u treat your customers says a lot. It?s not that hard to have some common courtesy and say thank u or not scream at someone to pull around. It?s not the customers fault the intercom doesn?t work, you charge enough money to replace it or put a sign to tell ppl to pull around versus screaming at them through it

This place is nothing to look at but their food is outstanding. Way better than your local Dunkin Donuts. I should have walked in to place my 4 orders of bacon, egg and cheese on a crossaint but I ordered through the drive-thru and held up the line of cars. My kids loved their chocolates and I loved the latte. Definitely worth another visit.

This place is our favorite Sunday morning breakfast spot. We usually go here every week for donuts and/or kolaches, and iced mocha. The iced mocha here is a must, and I really like the jalapeno cheddar kolaches. My only complaints, they can't really fix. The building is right on the corner, and traffic flow is awful. There's very little parking, and they stay very busy. With all that, though, I still give the place a 5 star, as those have no bearing on how good this place is.

Great morning stop for fresh, deliciously sweet donuts, donut holes and so much more. All kinds of donuts and similar sweet treats are available as early as 5:30 AM. Not only sweet treats, but fresh brewed gourmet coffee, and even breafast burritos. Yummy! Prices are in line with expectations. Staff members are pleasant. A drive-thru window makes this donut stop perfect for quick trips. Service is regularly speedy, too. Oh, and the donuts... So wonderfully satisfying. I swear I could eat 2 dozen at one ti

Friendly staff, large choice of pastries and drinks. There were 3 in our group each ordered something different and didn't like their drink. The sitting area, chairs, benches, needed better housekeeping.

I frequent this cafe quite often. Usually I go to drive thru but today I dined inside. The doughnuts are always fresh, the croissant sandwiches are the fluffiest, tastiest I've ever had, and the pecan coffee is amazing. The cozy atmosphere inside is soothing and the staff's customer service definitely add to the experience. So having coffee and doughnuts here any morning would be a Tony the ?? tiger, GRRReat start of the day!! I would give it 5 stars if the parking and drive thru were more accommodatin

Probably the best donut shop in Texarkana

Donut and coffee I ordered were good. Customer service could be improved on. The employee at the drive through window did not greet me or thank me/tell me they hope to see me back etc after she handed me my items.

Long line but worth it. The owners are very kind and work it well. Fresh Kolaches Fresh Donuts for a hard working crew. Mothers Day weekend was my first time here and I will be back.

Use the drive-thru rather than trying to park. The lot is super tiny and tight. Donuts were tasty, coffee was better than most non-coffee places - certainly better than McDonald's Coffee.

Oil that the donuts were fried in was old and made the donuts taste weird. The taste and smell of donuts in bag was unpleasant and a turn off. Donuts tasted like reused, reused, reused oil. How disappointing because the shop was inviting and promised to serve up an exceptional donut.

These people hustle, the get your best tasting dog uts and Kolaches out double time and have a smile while they do it! Much appreciated, my wife and kids love when I visit here!

I admit, this place could use a sprucing up in the back...and the Baristas accents present a bit of a language barrier. I also wish they would stay open at least until 5 pm. I have never asked for an Espresso drink nor do I have to. Because beside the cons, this place has better customer service than Starbucks down the road. The brewed coffee is superior, and the iced coffee is perfect...not bitter, no need for sweetener. Plus...it's cheaper for more in a cup! From now on, I will skip the long lines at Star

Oh My Goodness, If You Haven't Tried The Blueberry Cake Doughnuts, Your Missing Out, Melt In Your Mouth, Awesome Customer Service. Seasonal Products Now Available.

I like this place, and it has good atmosphere. However, if you are a serious coffee/ espresso drinker beware. My amaricano was awful; the barista put the espresso on bottom, and the shots pulled were terrible. I couldn't finish the americano, so I went back to get a latte and watched him make it. The espresso sprayed everywhere; the machine obviously needs to be cleaned. Then he actually poured the espresso and milk into the cup and "frothed" them together- not surprisingly there was no actual froth to be

I don't care much for donuts and I don't drink coffee, but I loved their little cheddar and sausage kolaches. They had a good variety of donuts it looked like.

Great choices of coffee and much more coffee in capacino than other countries !! Reasonable prices and pastries without sugar could be a benefit for consumers on special diets.

Absolutely loved it that they had Guatemala Antigua coffee. I have been looking for that everywhere. The donuts were fresh and I loved the lagniappe of a dozen donut holes. Very appreciated.

Amazing employees & Customer service. Although the parking lot is a bit tight, it?s still the fastest donut shop on Richmond

I can't say whether the food or service is good or not. They advertise to be open at 5 a.m. online and on their front door but they did not open at 5 a.m.. I drove across town and went somewhere else that advertises to be open at 5 and they were actually open. Tasty donut! On 7th street

Best donuts in Texarkana? IF you can get there before they sell out. No, they won?t make more for anyone. Friendly staff otherwise ??

With great service, delicious food, and a super-fast drive thru, this place is dangerous!! My only problem: it's too close to my house! But, it's pretty close to the gym, too, so... ???????

A cute little shop with good donuts, sausage rolls and decent coffee. Their chai latte was good and the staff was friendly even though they were busy.

These ladies made my Mothers Day with so much yummy goodness. Is nice to know I?m not the only one running from Florida. See y?all soon.

Very nice and clean place with great coffee! Blueberry muffin was good too! Thanks guys for great service! You get the mm?s Award of the day!

Quick breakfast stop after charging car on trip. We had a great apple fritter, ham&cheese kolache and latte.

Donuts and muffins are good but I went there hoping to get true New Orleans style beignets. What they call beignets is something else, and not done fresh as they should be.

We come here after the chiropractor and sometimes for kid dates. Friendly service, doughnuts and other foods are always good and fresh, drinks are always cold!

Great place to get breakfast for the family. The owner and employee are awesome, I've been coming here over 5 years now.

Needed food and coffee on the way during a road trip and this place was a great place to stop. Above and beyond expectations. Quaint little shop.

Why wait fifteen minutes down the street for generic corporate coffee and pastries? Authentic, family business. Delicious.

This place is so reasonable priced and amazing. We stopped through on our way to Houston and it was a fabulous experience. I'm actually kind of sad it is so far away from Houston now!

First time coming, great customer service, delicious donuts, and the best coffee I have ever had at a donut shop.

This is a nice cozy place to get a donut and coffee. There's plenty of other options as you can see from the photos. I would recommend and come back.

I stop here every time I pass through Texarkana. Great food and great people! You need to stop by.

A great family run donut shop. The butter roll is a slice of heaven. Very inexpensive fresh donuts.

Such nice bakers, always greeting and so nice. Their doughnuts are amazing and so affordable!

There's no other place who serves fresh donuts like this donut shop does. Really sweet smiling and friendly people too :)

First time going here. Reasonably priced,, pretty fast

They have an amazing selection with really great coffees. My favorite place to go to for coffee and pastries.

Food was too expensive and it didn't taste fresh or taste good either

Great place, great coffee, great donuts and tie service is wonderful!! I'm from Louisiana , just like down home!! ????

Rude Rude Rude...Do not go here if you expect to be spoken to courteously with Rude Rude Rude...man working the drive though window it will not happen sorry people. "I WILL NEVER BE BACK"!!!!

Amazing breakfast for a very reasonable price. Plus the staff are absolutely wonderful and a delight to deal with!!!

Love this place. They have the best burritos. Love the donuts too. Friendly staff

My favorite donut shop on town. And I'm super picky about my donuts.

Ridiculously Impressive!

BEST DOUGHNUTS IN THE WORLD. Simple as that. Always stop by here when I am in town. Owner is friendly and staff is quick and polite.

Just not the se since the original owner sold it. Things were okay but I wouldn't go back

Best donuts in town! I also LOVE your Southern Pecan coffee.

Always friendly and one of my favorite places to buy good doughnuts and kolaches!!!!!

One star, because I ask for a paper menu to take to work so residents can see what they have and place a order they told me no twice,it would be nice to make a copy of menu and pass them out to residents where I work, this place smh just don't care would have been good for business

Awesome staff and delicious doughnuts! Also prices are great!

I literally go here EVERY morning before school ! So delicious, great way to start my day !

I know nothing about this place. Google thinks I been here. Idk. Good food I guess

Best donuts ever and best customer service you can get there

Fast friendly service. Good coffee homemade biscuits.

Kolaches were old and dried out. The sausage actually fell out of the bread
