The Donut Run

The old fashion donuts were delicious and so were their fritters. But the Kolaches were truly amazing. The sausage and gravy one was so delicious. So good, in fact, that by the time I had gotten home I had eaten both and ended up turning around to go get more. Go as early as you can. It will be worth it. 12/24 - Tried the buttermilk bar this time. Very good. A little crisp on the outside and cakey in the middle. Still prefer the old fashioned over the bar though.

Ordered 2 Kolaches, 4 donuts and two cups of 3-shot espressos. Spent $30! 3 years ago this was the best donut shop in St George. Donuts were dry and only received 1 shot of espresso and waited 20 minutes. Watched while they served other families instead of making my coffee. Will never go back as they have officially lost my business.

The Donut Run is a hit! The Kolaches are off the charts delicious! Great variety of donuts and they were all super yummy. Service was wonderfully kind and helpful through navigating the menu.

Cute little donut shop. I felt obligated to stop and get some pictures since I didn't see any yet. They have yummy old fashioned cake donuts! The old fashioned wheels with chocolate on top are my FAVORITE. They have traditional cake donuts and the newer fluffy ones that I don't prefer as much but my kids enjoyed them. Great place for Donuts Run near the Little Valley and Desert Hills area, south of the city of St George Utah. Very nice clean and hipster location. It will definitely be a popular place for the Middle School and High School kids. I personally stopped to get a taste of a Kolache, it was fair. Typical donuts but the eye catch for us to stop were the kolaches. Kolaches are a type of sweet puff dough pastry. The ones we tried: Ham Ranchero and Sausage and jalape?o. Both had decent flavor and the dough was cooked through so there was no raw dough. To me that is impressive since it can be a hit or miss, well they nailed it. We will definitely be back to try the other flavors.

Cake donuts are Uncooked, Gooey and literally Wet inside. They used to be good but not anymore. There is a woman who is rude too and wears a extremely dirty apron. We Will Not be returning. Save your money and go to Harmons.

The buttermilk bars are amazing! They only make them on Fri-Sat which I'm pretty sure is a form of discrimination against the other days of the week you need breakfast...and the only reason I'm not 300lbs. Everyone behind the counter has been extra friendly and helpful. A great experience all around.

I pulled into the drive through this morning around 6AM. There were people in the lobby but I was the only one at the drive through. It appeared that the girl inside may have been working alone and was slammed with inside patrons so I had no problem with the fact that it took close to 20 minutes for her to get to me, after all, those amazing kolaches are worth every minute right? Went in over an hour before closing (3 PM) all the machines had been shut down and I was told only drip coffee was available. Paid $4 for a basic coffee and it ran out before it even gave me a full cup. I can't stand places shutting down over an hour before their ACTUAL stated hours because the worker is just trying to leave early... $4 for a half cup of basic coffee is insane

Donuts have always been fresh. Friendly staff and clean establishment. After a summer in CA, I feel like lots of places really go light on the frosting. I was pleasantly surprised when I came home and found Donut Run. They have the perfect blend of donut to frosting. Definitely a win for me.

Definitely not the quality I expected. My buttermilk bar was raw in the middle (if it was a cookie I wouldn?t mind, but raw donut is weird and kinda gross). Chocolate donut was okay, seemed like a low quality donut, but the chocolate tasted good. And then we ordered a chocolate bar with filling and there was only one bite?s worth of filling inside. Update: I've tried them a few more times and actually feel like they've improved. We were excited to try them, but they were pretty average at best. I honestly prefer Lins or Harmons donuts. They are convenient if you are in the Bloomington Hills area, but I don't think I would make a special trip for them. Hopefully the high school and middle school will keep them in business.

Fully disclosure - donuts probably aren't super healthy - but the donuts here taste amazing and their kolachies (?) are my new go-to instant Breakfast on my way to work. Two days ago I stopped to grab a bacon, egg, and cheese kolachi and then go to KB convenients store for a Coke.... Well, they had a cold Coke in the fridge left of the payment counter so I had everything I needed in life. All the staff will know me by name soon enough.

I've enjoyed their kolaches in the past, but found a long hair in one (which happens, admittedly) and the customer service, when I reported it, was less than satisfactory and seemed slow to offer a solution (which was that they'd give me "something" free when I came in next time). I haven't been back, but I'd hope that they'd at least replace the $5 kolache.

Scammers! These guys will rip you off (can?t believe I just said that about a donut shop) They will upsell you with a special and then charge you full price. I fell for the ?buy 5 get one free?, I only went for 4 donuts but when the crook said I could buy 5 and get the 6th free I picked out 2 more. We went today (Sat. morning 7/23/22) at about 9:30am. The kolaches were great. Fresh, warm, delicious. Every donut we got (half dozen, different kinds) tasted like they were made yesterday. A little disappointed.

The workers didn't know what a plain donut was. I had to show them a photo on my phone of one. Shouldn't be allowed to call themselves a donut shop if they don't know what the most basic donut is. The prices are high as well. I walked out not getting anything because they didn't have what I was looking for.
