4am donut run just the way I like it. Fresh donuts, delicious hot chocolate with alternate milk options and great customer service. It made me almost want to work here! The best donuts are the honey dip, the croissant, apple fritter, pumpkin spice, and the french cruller. I love that you could sit down like an old school diner feel. It was really cute. Im sure I will be back!
I was on my way to my appointment when I saw The Donut Pub. I had heard about this famous donut shop that?s been in business since 1964 and as soon as i walked inside, I was mesmerized by their mouth watering treats! Chris was very helpful, not only in helping me select the various donuts but also in sharing the history of this iconic establishment! I was also impressed with the pride that Chris exhibited as he shared his knowledge about The Donut Pub. Most importantly, their donuts are a THOUSAND TIMES bet
So, I was in NY for the holiday season last yr in Dec & I really wanted to try this place out ever since I saw it on the Spokin app as a safe place to eat. I finally got the chance to & I loved everything that I got!! I ended up spending $80.40 here ???????? because I got 2-3 of each donut. In the pic you?ll see the huge s?mores donut which has marshmallow filling inside that tasted good & not artificial. I also got the powdered donuts (I think it was blueberry filling- I haven?t had powdered donuts in yrs!
Open 24/7! Small, narrow old-timey shop with counter-style seating and friendly staff. The donuts are great, made on premises, and fresh in the morning. They rotate the donuts ?? by sunrise for the morning crowd and have clientele entering at all hours. It gets a little hectic during rush hours. Late nights can be lowkey. 4 out of 5 starts because the hot chocolate tastes like Swiss Miss cocoa mix, even with hot milk. I don't necessarily mind but it's not worth ~ $6 to consume a 50 cent packet of powdered
Donut Pub always a treat, but the staff was extra friendly today. My cashier, Aida, put me onto the croissant donut, and recommended it warmed up? she?s so real for that. Highly recommend following her advice and also taking a beat to enjoy it at the counter.
Donut pub is just a classic and makes the best donuts. Open 24hrs and they have counter space to sit and have a coffee. This place just makes the perfect donut, there is nothing to complain about everything is perfect.
I would definitely say that their standout donuts are the old fashioned varieties and not the standard glazed ones. The old fashioned glazed or the blueberry was extremely flavorful, while the jelly donut and strawberry glazed both left something to be desired. Service: outstanding. I would definitely come back here to pick up something sweet or grab some classic donuts for a special occasion.
The smell of donuts hits you like a glorious whiff of heaven when you walk into Donut Pub. And to complement the smell, each donut is a feast for the eyes! And yet, whenever I come here, it's the black and white cookie I have to get. It's cakey iced perfection. Also worth mentioning: very sweet staff, great old school donuttery vibes, and reasonable prices.
Walked and was initially overwhelmed by choice, the team were so lovely and patient. Took their time to explain what was what. This place is a gem. Would definitely come back! Everything was delicious.
We hit up Donut Pub, and let me tell you, this spot is the real deal! The donuts were next level, and the staff was super chill?good vibes all around. The Apple Fritter? Straight-up perfection. And anything fruity? Absolute bangers! The plain ones were decent, but nothing mind-blowing. My guy also tried the Maple Syrup Bacon donut and was all in on it. If you?re a donut fan, you gotta check this place out?don?t miss it! Here?s the review: TikTok Link
Stumbled upon this place, walking to the subway from Chelsea Market. Glad I saved my sweets for the day until I walked in the door. It was around 5 pm, and the lady who greeted and served us was so nice. We talked a little about the business and the ups and downs of a donut shop. They had so much to choose from in the late afternoon. My place closes at 300pm! So I was happy to make a purchase on a lazy Saturday afternoon. I can't wait to come back and visit again as it looks like they have so much mo
Very nice Old School style Restaurant. They have a good selection of delicious Donuts and great beverages. The staff is very attentive and helpful. Service is fast? you could be in and out or sit in and enjoy your treat.
The donuts are absolutely delicious and I loved the atmosphere too, still has its original nostalgic feel. Service was great ill definitely be back ??
I signed on especially to record my enthusiasm for this place. The donuts are so fresh and delicious and the coffee is good. Also, they are open 24 hours a day which is amazing. Most of all the staff is fast, friendly and efficient, making it a pleasure to be there whether you are taking out a treat or enjoying a few relaxing minutes with a donut and coffee at the counter.
The best cro-nuts in the city!!! Always fresh and it stays fresh the next day too!!! I can't walk pass this place without buying them even though I'm not into sweets. It's not cheap but definitely a great treat once in a while ??? I never sat down at the place but it's a cute place if you want to take a quick break (not a place to bring a computer to work), and they have a few vegan options which is really nice
I?ve been walking past this Establishment for years and today was my first visit ever. The Place was Amazingly Comfortable while enjoying a Great cup of Coffee with a Donut. Super Delicious! But unfortunately the girl that served us could?ve had a Brighter Outlook when serving the Customer ????
Interesting service on the weekend compared to the weekdays. I would consider myself a regular.my family and I would visit the store at least 3 times a week. But this weekend i entered and wasn?t greeted with a welcome or how are you. I sit at the front where they make the coffee and proceed to wait 5-10 minutes. seen 2 employees walk past me with the cashier still not saying anything. That was so unprofessional was my money not green enough for them or was my family and I just a disturbance. Train the wee
If you are a dona lovers you have to come here. You have a variety of flavors, both traditional and those you don't imagine trying. They have some gluten free and vegan donuts in case you have a food limitation. In my case, I tried gluten free the chocolate one with sprinkles and the strawberry one was good. Unlike the regular donut, its size is a little smaller but knowing that it could cause the dry texture, this one did not disappoint me. My family was happy to try the regular ones like the boston cream,
This is how I think donuts should look and taste. Great place, great service and most importantly, donuts
Old diner-style seating: low bar stools by a long counter. There were a few things I wanted to try but held back on buying too much, can always go back. Prices were ok: filled donuts and rings $2.75, special donuts $3.25. We found the donuts here not too sweet and liked 2 of the 3 we got: apple cider cronut $5 and the chocolate cruller. Double chocolate dipped just reminded me of ding dongs snack.
Donuts are tasty, the old-fashioned ones dough is delicious! Staff was very nice, offered water. We could eat our donuts in the pub. Unfortunately no restrooms!
Good donuts. Rude manager. I asked for the square cake box instead of the flat box for donuts I was about to carry in the subway. I have asked for and received this before at this location (in fact, the store used to only offer a square cake box). But this is now ?against the rules.? Donut boxes have rules, who knew? I was accused of wanting to pick a fight. Yes, I always come into donut stores at 8 am looking for an argument with a rude manager. I?ll try one of their other locations next time. Avoid.
A very wide selection of doughnuts a tad pricey, but it's Manhattan ??????? I got 2 croissant doughnuts, $5 each, and they were as amazing as they looked. Supper fluffy and soft but flakey like a croissant. (The layers are even visible when you bite into it) The icing on the doughnuts were also really good, sweet and buttery, and didn't have an artificial taste like some icing does.
This place is just fun. Donuts are really good, not the best in the city but worth a visit as they have flavors others don't. I would certainly come back here.
Love the croissant donuts! Soft and delicious!! Could eat this every single day. The service is always great. If they are taking care of a customer, another employee will come take your order to keep things moving. The place is very small with only bar and outdoor seating but most people will take to go so you should be able to find a seat
My first time at the donut pub and wanted to leave a review only to please ask for a raise for the guy who was working there (may 7, 25 - around 815pm): what an absolute legend! Friendly, willing to help a first time customer with all the recommendations and info required turning this spontaneous snack haul into an absolute highlight. I'll be back!
Yummy. Yummy. Yummy. This was my first experience eating at Donut Pub. The 1950s diner decor offered plenty of seating. I ordered the Tiramisu cronut and it was fantastic *chef?s kiss*. Every single bite had me more and more impressed. However, the mini donuts or donut holes were bland and hard. Nonetheless, I can?t wait to return!
Very happy that The Donut Pub reopened. I've been here many times over the years and really enjoy both the variety and quality of the offerings. Some favorites are the donut holes, the croissant donuts, and the different flavor options but my very favorite is the Brooklyn Creme donut - it's like a Boston Creme but with white cream filling instead of the custard. Delicious. Super friendly and efficient staff.
Delicious and tasty. Perfect late night spot after drinking. Ate Oreo donut and my bf had fruity pebbles. Will be back to try other donuts. It?s open 24 hours
My daughter, my child always finds the best places to take her mama to. And babeee these donuts along with the customer service were definitely a win for me. I am vegan, vegetarian, pescatarian ;) and I chose from the vegan section and when I tell you the pumpkin glaze donut and the vegan plain donut warmed up for less than 50 seconds in a microwave were the best thing my hour glass figure didn?t need, I am not lying. These donuts were simply delicious, so delicious imma get the heck outta the city and not
Croissant glazed donut beats all others I?ve had before!! If you are looking delicious donuts, stellar vibes, and sweet satisfaction, make sure to stop by this oasis of confection in the center of this concrete jungle. ??????
Staff was welcoming and friendly. They had a pretty nice variety of donuts for 1:30am all looked fresh and appealing. For around $25 I got a treasure box of goodies. The guy at the register was pretty cool and helpful, threw in a few mini donuts which I highly appreciated. French cruller was next level!
I ended up here because of a colleague who is absolutely obsessed (like woah obsessed) with donuts. There was a group meeting and I figured this would be a fun treat. My friend Mr. Google- expert on everything- indicated that this place would be a good bet, and it was not wrong. I grabbed a half dozen of various types so that a variety could be sampled. Brooklyn cream, jelly, maple bacon, glazed croissant donut, chocolate salted caramel, and a birthday cake with sprinkles. Our donut obsessed friend even sh
Delicious and fresh. Nice seating area. Good service
Another great experience. The guy working at 10 pm is fantastic and helpful. He knows how to make a good cup of coffee and espresso. Quality is still really good for the doughnuts and coffee. It helps that they are open 24hrs when I'm in the area working late into the morning the next day. I hope they keep up the fabulous work. 04/2024 Great selection of doughnuts, friendly staff, and service. It's a nice place to sit for a coffee and doughnuts. Cash and credit are both accepted. There is no bathroom for c
The golden standard for donuts- nay, food establishments as a whole. The compassion for making sure everyone can enjoy a donut without worrying about food allergies is elite. Staff were lovely as well. JBourdain Approved ??
Went inside to buy a dozen donuts for 34.00 Asked for 6 powdered and 6 sugared jelly guy refused to sell me the powdered ones telling me he needs them for the night! Even though I'm a paying customer he refused why? Bad business! Still making money instead I left without making a purchase! He could have at least offered a couple and tell me he needs some for the night but to refuse to sell me none not right! I worked in the neighborhood over 30 years an ago was excited to bring some home to the family only
Good doughnut and muffin. Lots of interesting flavors to keep you coming back. Everything is reasonably priced. Friendly service.
Cute local donut joint. I had a craving for donuts and stumbled upon this place. They have classic donuts to unique donut like bacon donuts. We just tried few cake donuts and French cruller and all of them were pretty good. Light, Fluffy, sweet but not oily. They have few tables and chairs outside to sit and enjoy their donuts.
Honestly I would save my money, donuts are overpriced? and didn?t even taste good.
Cute donut spot with classic flavors! $3.75 per donut
Need a sugar fix? Midnight? No problem. This 14th Street location of Donut Pub is always open! 24/7 per there posted hours. You can grab a coffee, tea, a croissant donut (they are excellent), or a classic crueller. They specialize in maple bacon donuts as well. So good!!
It was great to see The Donut Pub reopened. This establishment has been around for many, many years. The selection and variety of donuts are out of this word. It's clean and comfortable. My only minor gripe is when ordering one feels rushed. I understand the importance of getting customers serviced quickly. But there are so many good options to choose from, it can feel overwhelming. The Double Dipped Chocolate is one of my favorites. The staff is friendly and possess great customer service skills. One fe
Order 12 jelly donuts at $5.83 each. Are half of one and could not finish. Had a very strong bad oil fried flavor that made me immediately sick. All thrown out. All it tasted like was rancid oil. Wasted $70. Not Goldbelly fault. I?ve been in hospitality management for over 40 years. These donuts were terrible and the worse I have ever had. Walmart was better than these. Disgusting and disappointed.
Best donuts in NYC, and the staff is God tier. They have a Boston cream donut that go absolutely crazy and the tiramisu cronut had me tweaking, they also got 2 apple flavors, if you like apple pie get it one is powder and one is frosting(way sweeter but still amazing). I be here at all different kinda of hours and not once does the quality of the food or service change they always teat you like family no matter the time of day or who's working. I don't even write reviews like that, let alone good ones but I
Literally the best donuts in the city I hope this place never leaves Today I tried the matcha for the first time?bomb! Customer service immaculate both male and female Hispanic workers friendly and professional. Acknowledge you the minute you walk in
I had the pleasure of trying the Tiramisu "Cronut" croissant donut. It was exceptionally delicious and fresh. They offer a wide variety of delectable options. The staff members were friendly and made me feel welcome. The ambiance of the establishment was reminiscent of a classic diner, providing a comfortable and inviting atmosphere. The prices were reasonable and fair.
I?d say service here is hit or miss. Half the time I?ve come by there has been an absolutely lovely human at the counter taking my order. The other half someone grumpy and not really registering anything I say until I order (even questions). I?ve never had anyone ask if I want to dine in either even though there is clearly the option. While I?ve always taken my donuts to go it?s still a bit odd. The croissant donuts/cronuts are really good. While I liked the original the one that really steals the show is t
Grab a countertop stool at this old school 24/7 doughnut shop with all the classics and cronut varieties. Doughnuts texture is just right. Highly recommend the crullers and cronut varieties. Classic cake doughnuts dip just right in a coffee. A Cup of joe and their doughnuts can raise the dead after a night out. NY egg sandwiches available for those craving savory. Staff are all awesome.
One server with the cap was monotone and grumpy, making us feel quite unwelcome. The other lady seemed fine to other customers. The dine in area appears closed, but you can go in once you show you are vaccinated. However this information was not forthcoming - we had to enquire. Delicious donuts and coffee. We love small local businesses with something unique to offer, not mass produced products.
Hi , To all of you Donuts and dessert lovers, that is a must place for you, that place has a huge selection of donuts and some very unique donuts , like the Maple bacon donut , for example. It's always a great experience to visit this place , i really enjoy it, every time. It's always fresh . If you are just visiting town , it's a great spot for a coffee break. Have a great time ??
Had this goodness compliments of a coworker friend - never even heard of this place in NYC. I couldn't even tell you the exact flavors, but one tasted similar to a light mocha cream, almost tiramisu like, with the texture of a layered donut (croissant like, maybe it was the cappuccino), and the other a full blown cannoli but in a donut. I've never had such delectable ??s that give doughy flaky croissants inside! If that makes any sense to you lol. I promise it won't be my last experience. There's something
Cosy, old school place for coffee, breakfast and pastries. Diner meets kiosk vibe. Cheap compared to all the fancy coffee shops in the area. Coffee was scolding hot, no-nonsense filter coffee. French cruller was delicious.
I was attended by a very nasty attitude individual named Maddy. I came into Donut pub like I usually do but I was not expecting snarky comments when I asked some questions about their specialty donuts, which one in particular had a new garnish on it and the label wasn?t directly in front of it. If the young lady doesn?t want to attend to regular patrons or the general public with outstanding customer service and care as a food service employee to another food service employee she shouldn?t work there. Her b
This is the kinda place you can bring anyone, anytime of day and you?re gonna get 5 star donuts and 5 star service, the coffee tastes like coffee should, not fancy, not weak and so I?m gonna give it 5 stars too. Go there, be polite, get your donuts and tell a friend. Or maybe grab a seat at the counter, good spot for people watching if you?re into that sorta thing. Oh yeah they have those vegan donuts for your plant based friends, they?re pretty good too, tastes like the real thing.
Delicious gluten free donut! Best I?ve ever had!
Nice thing about this place is that it is open until late - great place to stop by if you need a sugary late night dessert. That being said: the donuts are okay, and the croissant donut is not very flakey/impressive (I went late, maybe it?s different in the morning). The flavors are just quite sugary, nothing very special. The girl behind the counter looked beyond bored to be there? had to repeat my order twice before she even noticed my existence.
Open 24/7, always stoked with freshly baked classic donuts, you can?t go wrong here. Donut prices are right and the employees are happy to be working here. Stop by if you care about donuts at all. Also souvenir cups and swag is top notch.
Gluten-free options that are absolutely delicious! Traditional selection of regular donuts and apple fritters etc. Delicious, bright clean. Really enjoyed watching the kids enjoy themselves
I?ve only tried the donuts, and although I wasn?t a big fan of the traditional donuts, the Maple Croissant Donut is my new favorite pastry. And, the 5 stars (and review) go to this being genuinely one of the best espressos in the city for a crazy cheap price. They have an imported machine from Italy and the espresso + maple cronut combo is my new happy place.
id rate 0 stars if i could. the lady operating the cash and handing donuts was EXTREMELY rude to me and everyone i was with, giving attitude at any slight interaction. (the cashier girl with the long bleached blonde hair with her brown roots showing, short, bucket hat) the donuts qualities were absolutely terrible, and the black and white cookie was hard on the outside and tasted extremely stale. the cookie was so hard that my associate decided to punch the cookie as a joke and it still held up. the chocol
Delicious donuts and professional service. I definitely recommend.
Hands down the best donuts in NYC! I make sure to stop by any time I find myself in the area! Staff are also super friendly and nice!
Overall nice experience. I happened to just walk by. Coffee was delicious the donuts are really fresh and tasty. Cool old school coffee shop vibes. This is an in and out type of place. I would recommended and go back again. I felt like There?s better options with the types of donuts to satisfy any craving. Glad I found it without actually searching for it.
Very chill place, kind people, and DELICIOUS DONUTS! The wide range of selection was awesome and the fact that they are careful to avoid all nuts is very helpful to people like me with severe allergies. 10/10 would recommend!
Best donuts I?ve had in New York by far! Perfectly sweet and soft. So good!
Its croissant doughnuts they're so good. The French toast doughnut was recommended and it's a million times better than I thought it'd be. The pumpkin spice creme is the photo.
Really great coffee, hit the spot in the middle of an overnight shift. Chocolate mini donuts are 5/5 must try. Merch is not too pricy for those into that sort of stuff.
I stumbled upon this small donut shop near my hotel. The man at the front was very friendly & cheerful. - Raspberry jam donut: the donut was soft & fluffy. There was lots of raspberry jam filling and my kid loved it. - Cannoli cream donut: the donut was soft but it was too much filling for my taste. The cream itself was creamy & good and wasn't too sweet.
Very happy to see The Donut Pub has reopened ! Their selection of donuts are amazing & whichever I have tried so far has been absolutely delicious !! Do yourself a favor and try a donut or two, you won't be disappointed !! Welcome Back !!
They have amazing donuts. Very fresh and tons of different types with regular specials. The staff was friendly and service was quick on a Friday evening. I plan to go back soon! My one picture is of a chocolate salted caramel croissant donut. My favorite though is the original glazed croissant donut!
I love getting donuts from the 14th & 7th of late I stopped the donuts and have a craving for the black and white cookies and the white more so but for the past six weeks, the edge of the cookies has been hard even though they are fresh also the white is not enough on the cookies, especially the white they are sparingly done. They used to have the best cookies since reopening the only thing besides the service that has increased is the price. I would greatly appreciate it if they would give me goods that I
What is not to like about this fun establishment- who doesn?t like a well made doughnut. Name your favorite- they have it. I don?t typically eat doughnuts but if you?re going to indulge it should be flavorful and creative not the oil and chemical filled chain doughnuts.
Just walked by. Stopped. Jumped in. Stoked. This is Donut Heaven. Love the Diner atmosphere at this place. Friendly staff and always fresh Donuts. Crazy stuff like Maple Cronut with bacon (try it warm). For me: best donut in town.
Lovely donuts place I tried the velvet one but wasn?t really impressed However when I tried their mini donuts i was blown away! And the coffee is so hearty!! Love it and highly recommend it! Oh also the staff are super sweet and nice!
I had a bacon egg and cheese on an everything bagel and it was amazing! The bagel was quite soft and crispy. Super fresh! The coffee was great and the vanilla jelly donut was excellent to finalize breakfast. Lol! Also the staff was super nice there and very attentive.
I loved the donut & croissant donut they were really delicious I will definitely go back!
Great selection of donuts. The staff isn?t exactly the warmest, but they aren?t rude either. The cronut I had was amazing and I would love to return for a second but I would go somewhere else for the coffee since it was just an extremely dark roast. They also had a selection of breakfast sandwiches that I didn?t get to try.
It seems there are two doughnut shops in NYC that are worth paying a visit - and this is one of them. Open 24/7 and in an unassuming part of town, the range is excellent and so are the prices. We paid $18 for a box of 6 speciality doughnuts. Otherwise $3.75 each I think. The Croissant Doughnuts are recommended but in truth all are nice - so treat yourself! Oh. Why only three doughnuts left in the box? I think you know the answer!
Can't believe it took me so long to come here. Apple was fire. I'll be back to try many more. Suggest getting a few and a coffee. Grab a spot at the counter and enjoy Wasn't a fan of the chocolate or plane crawler.
A hole in a wall place. This place is very old as claimed by one of the banners in the pub. The place busy when we reached there around noon time. The reason to visit this place was because of Cronut and their breakfast menu. I wouldn't go there to eat breakfast but we loved their lemon Cronut. The bagel and cheese sandwich were okaish. We have had better options in the past. Go there for donuts and nothing else!!!
Amazing! I ordered donuts for a baby shower and was blown away by the customer service. The donuts were amazing and were exactly as ordered. Their in person customer service is even better so I would highly recommend stopping by!
I have been going to Donut Pub since the early 1970s, and while it is no longer a cheap place to get great food, the dounts are as tasty as ever. It is the ONLY place to get a great Lemon ??-filled donut (Krispy Kreme sucks).
????INSTAGRAM @TRIPONFITNESS ???? @TRIPONFOODIES ???? @TRIPONDESSERTS ?? Made a stop here... JUST before heading back home to D.C - boy! Are we glad we did. Grabbed a half a dozen with some interesting flavors. ?? - Maple Bacon Cronut - Dulce De Leche Choc Cronut - Oreo Ring - Red Velvet - Vanilla Cream Filled - Smores Started with the maple bacon and worked my way to the others. Crunchy, flakey and everything in between. There are so good!???? The staff was friendly, considerate, attentive and helpful.
Drop everything you're doing right now and go to The Donut Pub. ...It was practically love at first sight for me - I remember the way those maple glaze bacon croissant donuts looked at me from the display window when I passed by for the first time. (and oh do they taste just as good as they look). But seriously, this place will always hold a special place in my heart - its a great place to go for a casual coffee with a friend, the perfect after dinner dive if you're looking a for a sweet treat (at any hour
Best donuts and cronuts ever !!! We?ve been to Dominique Ansel Bakery before and we don?t understand the hype after going to the Donut Pub! ?? So much cheaper, more flavors and they?re never out of cronuts ! Highly recommend this place !
Small diner like donut shop known for it's awesome cronuts! Very large selection, very pleasant employees. Coffee drinks are perfectly done!
This spot is best for the sweetest tooth. Staff is friendly. There?s limited seating inside. It?s quite narrow and tiny (not for claustrophobes). I?ll treat myself to their maple bacon once in a while since it?s super sweet~ Favs: Maple bacon (sweet, savory, melt in your mouth) Jelly (surprisingly good, not overpowering) OK: Birthday cake donut (chalky) Fruity pebbles (average) Boston cream (cream tasted artificial) Red velvet (almost choked on it, dry) Chocolate (glazed donuts are all dry?)
