Stopped by this donut shop 15 minutes before closing time. I've read very good reviews about both the service and the donuts, but maybe today was not a good day. It was close to closing time, but they were still open, and we totally got the vibe from the moment that we walked in that they couldn't wait to leave. We were greeted with "we're closing already" as soon as we walked in. I walked up to the glass case because there were donuts in there but was immediately told, "we're only selling the boxed donuts

From the moment I walked into The Donut House, I was met with warmth and kindness. The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating, even offering coffee and samples while I waited. They went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect, and their enthusiasm for what they do truly shows. And the doughnuts? Absolutely amazing! So good, in fact, that my 7-year-old asked if we could get them every day! If you're looking for delicious, fresh doughnuts and top-notch service, this is the place to go.

Delicious and fresh. Horribly expensive. $17 for 4 donuts? Sure, I'd pay that if it was a patisserie on the Champs-?lys?es in Paris but not Thornton.

I?ll start off saying the cloud white filling is incredible and I?ll definitely come back for it. Having said that, I wasn?t 100% impressed. They did not open on time, so even though no one else was in line, I didn?t get out of the shop until 6:18. They also said they had dairy free donuts, but that is very misleading. I did not see the tiny, hand written, post it on the side of the donut case saying that dairy free donuts had eggs until after I paid. Eggs are dairy, so none of the donuts are dairy free. Th

This place has the best donuts in Colorado period. Every flavor is fresh and cooked to perfection. The filled donuts are done as you order and you have your choice of fillings. The cronuts are so fluffy and flaky they melt in your mouth like little clouds. I can't recommend this place enough.

Fantastic donuts. There are (sometimes) two different gluten free options. One type is baked (not fried), and Mo bakes them in separate trays to avoid cross contamination. And the staff are happy to change into clean gloves when serving those donuts. My wife and daughter have Celiac disease, and we've had these on two different weekends with no issues. Everything! I don't usually eat sweets but they have something for everyone. The donuts are light and fluffy with just the right amount of glaze and specialty donuts/Danishes are incredible! There are plenty of savory options like breakfast burritos, a jalapeno and cheese "Danish" option and the friendliest owner!!! I'm usually not a huge donut person, but we stopped by because we were in the area, and I'm glad we did! Loved everything we got. The mini croissant is delicious and the berry doughnut reminds me of a fruit cake!! Will definitely be back!

This was a great find the donuts were fantastic I ordered two chocolate bars and they filled them to order as opposed to prefilled giving me 12 choices of filling. The workers were all very pleasant to talk to. I would highly recommend going in saying hello and picking up some these fantastic donuts.

This place is fantastic. We walked in at closing time, and they had already boxed up their donuts for the day. We planned to come back another time, and the owner handed us a box and said happy new year! What a kind surprise and great service. Then we actually got to try the donuts... and YUM. They are very good. We will definitely be back!

Stopped in for a mid-morning treat ?? The pineapple fritters were D-E-L-I-C-I-O-U-S ?? We also tried the cronut holes (croissant donut holes) and they we very flaky and soft?? Definitely recommend stopping in and supporting this small business ??

Yum! We had the creme brulee donut and the cronut, they did not disappoint. The donut was light and loaded with vanilla custard and the cronut was flaky and sweet. We bought a couple fun donuts for the road. If you like donuts it's a can't miss! The service was friendly and helpful. First impression was fantastic! ??

Nice new location. Very similar to the other donut house locations but seems to have quality control issues. The lamination on the Cronut was not great and the cherry fritter was not completely cooked with a doughy center. There are better donuts especially for the price.

This was my family's first time there and it did not disappoint! We were greeted with samples of their cronuts and they were delicious! The service was very friendly and inviting. The food is incredible. I recommend the cronuts and Spinach Feta Pastry. We will be back for sure!

Tried to go two Wednesdays in a row arrive at 6am since says open at 6am I waited around till 6:10 still not open I couldn't wait any longer cause had to drive to work. So either need to fix this or change your hours. Highly disappointed

Heard some good things about this place, unfortunately my experience doesn't match. Wife and I got a half dozen for $21 ?? The donuts were half as good as Winchell's, but cost twice the money. I always thought Winchell's was an inferior donut shop, I guess they've at least got better quality than this location. The young lady who helped us also have my wife a stink face after she placed her order. All-in-all I wouldn't recommend this location. Might try a different location, but doubt it.

Edit: I can?t say enough good things about this place! I came again on a Thursday and the donuts were soo fresh and soft and tasty! The guy working today was so nice and extremely sweet. I can?t wait to make this my regular place! Super packed the grand opening day! The donuts were amazing and beautiful! The owner was super nice and helpful. The doughnuts are great, the price is outrageous though, I came in this morning and bought 2 doughnuts, a creme brulee, and a berry cream, I admit they were good. But at the register when the gentlemen told me $20 and some change, it was wild. I really expected a much more exceptional doughnut. I think a $10 doughnut should be incredible not average.

Used TooGoodToGo for my first time trying this place. Being someone from NY who is used to the best food at her fingertips was very surprised on how good these were. The store owner was very personable and other staff members were very friendly. I will go again!

Bought a half dozen of their regular donuts which their menu says it?s 13 and some change yet the girl in the front charged me 18 and some change. I didn?t realize it until after I checked my receipt. Donuts were ok but not worth the price. They don?t seem honest, I would check out other donut places.

I visited the Donut House via a friends recommendation and they were extremely busy. For the price, they are very small. I asked for a 3pk of cronut holes, for (and was charged for) 9. ?? The long johns white filling, is more like frosting. The fritters and old fashion were WAY to sweet! Almost $40 for 5 longs johns, 2 old fashions, a pineapple fritter and, apparently, 9 cronut holes. King soopers is better (imo) and will probably be going there instead of this one.

The old fashioned was wonderful. Both of the larger donuts were undercooked. Dough on the inside. The price was unreasonable - $12 for three donuts - two of which weren't sellable. If the donuts were fully cooked and maybe half the price we would return but as it stands we will not be back. Customer service was friendly.

The Donut House has amazing donuts that are freshly made daily. Everything we?ve tried is so delicious and the service is fast and friendly. We were eager to check this place out! There was about a 25 minute wait which is fine, we figured there would be since it?s new. The staff were very pleasant. I do agree with some other posters in that the price is outrageous. We got 6 standard donuts and it came to $17! The donuts didn?t taste super fresh at 12p on a Sunday. We probably won?t be making a special trip back due to the price.

Yes, the line was long but that should be expected for a new place that just opened up. And even as they continue to do business I wouldn?t be surprised of a wait - not unexpected for a great donut shop and well worth it! The line/wait is no different than another great donut shop that we would visit in Louisville. But now there is a place much closer by! Phenomenal doughnuts - really the best I've ever had - even later in the day they were fresh as ever The experience filled me with nostalgia from the Sundays when I was a kid and my parents would bring home D&D and I had a doughnut with a tall glass of milk. This is a true hidden gem! I love the glazed donut. I think all their donuts are excellent, but the glazed is just the best I?ve ever had the coronut is a croissant donut that is to die for unbelievable they also have a peach cobbler and a cr?me br?l?e doughnut that is incredible. We went today for a dozen Donuts and wow! Donuts are AMAZING! When I get a dozen Donuts at Krispy Kreme or Dunkin, my kids eat 3, and 9 end up in the garbage. My kids have already eaten 8 of the dozen we picked up at Donut House and they're eating the last 4 in the morning. We drove out here to give them a try, but wasn't able to buy anything. There was a long line (opening day) and I think there was a 10-20 minute wait for any doughnuts mid-day around 9:00 am. We figured by the time we got to the front, they would be out of doughnuts again so we left and went somewhere else. Hopefully we will be in the area again at some point to try them out. My husband brought home a dozen doughnuts and a dozen doughnut holes; some of the best doughnuts I've had. The Old Fashioned doughnut was moist and had just the right amount sweet. Great food but the guy was in the back smoking when I got there and I couldn't find anyone in the store. He came back wreaking like an ash tray so strong that I decided not to buy anything besides the order I had called in. Stop breathing cigarettes on the food guy.

If you want Winchell?s, go to Winchell?s. That?s where the cheap donuts are. If you want deliciously soft and pillowy raised donuts that are still pretty pillowy the next day, go to the Donut House! Sign and Google says "Opens 6:00 am daily ". I was there at 06:13, tried the door and it was locked. I could see some lady sitting in there, looking at me, music was blaring loud but, no one came to let me in !!! Have heard other stories about this place and their service but, I guess I will go other places. Was really counting on some coffee and something to eat before going to work.

Very kind service, but most of the donuts were under baked and they didn't fill all of the filled donuts...they just put a dot of jelly on the side :/ Wanted to like them so bad...we might try them again to see if they have the same issues.
