The Crumb

The Crumb

Reviews Summary

The Crumb offers unique, artisanal donuts with creative flavors, often praised for their quality, size, and freshness. Many highlight the vegan and specialty options, friendly staff, and family-friendly atmosphere. However, some criticize high prices, occasional stale or greasy items, and inconsistent customer service. While most reviews are glowing (especially for innovative flavors and presentation), a few mention disappointment in taste or value. The shop is a standout for its craft approach, but experiences vary—some find it worth the premium, while others feel let down by execution or cost.

Customer Reviews

These were delicious donuts! You are definitely paying a premium but they decorate them so well. Would get these for special occasions only. The maple bacon was amazing!

My 1st time here and got a strawberry shortcake well and strawberry something donuts long story short this definitely wasnt a fresh donut I should have just went to Starbucks like I was originally going to but I wanted to get a donut not I know why this place usually stays pretty empty. My suggestion to this owner is make fresh donuts everyday like the guy across from yucaipa high school. I wouldn't recommend anyone go here

We got 9 donuts from here today and they were all horrible. I'm sure they weren't baked today and the oil used to fry them in smells bad. The donuts are dense and not all that fancy, just a bunch of color without much flare. Not worth $3.50 a donut, I wouldn't' go back even for free. Photo of cronut.

I was hoping this place would be better than it was. Customer service was severely lacking. It was disappointing to walk into an establishment where it felt unwelcome. The tables were dirty. The donuts, however were delicious. Very unique and sweet.

I love that this place has options for vegan donuts! And you can actually call them 1 day in advance if you want to request your flavor to be made the next day.. the owner is super friendly and nice.. and donuts are amazing.. you can never tell the difference between vegan or non vegan donuts! My fave is the mint chocolate donut!! ???

Delicious artisan donuts. Around $3 each or 6 for $15. People would tell me that they where a bit expensive but after seeing how big they are and how good quality and delicious they are they are totally worth it for the price. First time coming to this place but most definitely not my last.

This place is delicious!! And the service is wonderful. Apple pie donut was great, and surprisingly, their vegan donut as well.

This is the best donut place ever in the inland empire oh my it is so good I can?t believe the different flavors and different varieties they have here. This place is a 100/10 honestly. The customer service is unbeatable and the atmosphere reminds me of a family donut shop which is so nice. Try the Homer Simpson one and the Oreo must TRY. Everything is delicious

Close when donuts are sold out so I miss out frequently. The cronut was awesome. They do have a maple bacon donut for those fans.

The doughnuts themselves arent sweet which is good because the toppings more than makes up for it, even so its not overwhelming. Such kind people work there too

The pink vegan donut was delicious. When I got there they had already ran out of the croissants but I'm assuming they taste good too. I've also tried their gluten free options and they're a little sweet but fresh and delicious. I like the tea options they have.

We have been lucky enough to try these amazing donuts. Every single one that we have tried have been amazing full of flavor fresh and delicious you will not be disappointed

Nice and clean donut shop. Donuts look very fancy and delicious. But they are very pricey. Payed 15$ for 3 donuts. What?s more disappointing is that their were not great! I think the best one was the classic chocolate donut.

Tasty treats and pastries very nice oh yea another great find in yucaipa

Big, expensive, house made donuts. Like 3.50 singles. One donut is two regular donuts at least. And they are no doubt top notch, to paraphrase the magician, they are little cakes. Sometimes filled with custom custard, and always decorated to the nines. I can't really compare to other donut shops oh, this is our first area for a ray in to find donuts with a hipster bend. Good for an office splurge, 6 donuts for $15. They sometimes sell out early, so get there before 9 to be sure to have a selection. Althoug

They have endless variety on creating unique donuts. Even if your vegan they can make any donut dairy free and they still taste amazing. My fiancee is vegan so I bought them for her for our wedding. My favorite flavor today was tiramisu.

Tastey creative treats with friendly owners! The S'mores donut was an unexpected discovery!

Best Gluten Free doughnuts I have had in the 11 years being Gluten Free! If you were like me, and hesitant to try their GF doughnuts...then don't be. My family and I were visiting from out of state for Thanksgiving and I heard this place had good GF doughnuts, so I tried them and...WOW, I was impressed! My experience with GF doughnuts is that they always have a "cake like" texture to them, when I am looking for more of a fluffy texture, which these GF doughnuts have! I can say with full confidence that the

The Crumb is absolutely amazing! I love ALL of their donuts, but always seem to get a cake donut. They are always up to something special and their creativity is inspiring. I think the prices are great and the coffee is delicious.

Honestly, I don?t know how this donut shop has such good reviews. I tried giving them another shot after the last time. I thought maybe they were just having a bad day as the donuts were terrible and the lady behind the counter was rude. Well, it happened again. The lady behind the counter was so rude and very condescending. I ordered 3 different types of donuts. ALL WERE DISGUSTING! The sprinkle donut was gritty and tasted like cardboard. The cronut was the greasiest thing I?ve ever eaten and the mixed ber

The donuts are good but the blonde white lady that works there is SO RUDE. Me and my friends don't go here anymore because she is so rude! It ruined my day earlier and I won't be supporting this business if they think that's how people should be treated. Terrible attitude.

This is my favorite donut place. I order donuts every year for my birthday. No other place even comes close. I drive 20 minutes just to come here, since classes are all online now. Anyone complaining about price, or selection doesn?t understand the term ?artisan?. It?s like Voodoo Donuts (Oregon), but in Southern California. I love it. Keep it up!

I bought 2 dozen donuts for a baby shower party I was throwing. $76 for 2 dozen which I was ok with, they were gorgeous and looked amazingly tasty. Unfortunately... that?s all they did was look good on the table. My kids even took a bite and threw them out. My guests all mentioned that they were not impressed with the taste and that it was a waste of money. They only get 2 stars because of how pretty they were

Limited choice but big donuts with fun toppings. Average price is $3

I just bought one of their gluten free donuts. So delish! It's baked (so healthier) and so soft! I never would have suspected that it was gluten free! Just know that it tastes more like a cupcake shaped as a donut.

I?ve tried this place twice. I don?t know why I gave it a second try. The donuts look really nice but they lack flavor. More like deep fried cupcakes and not very good ones either. And the coffee tasted like Denny?s coffee.

They have no selection of donuts. I pick two then the lady says $6 I was like what?! So I'm expecting the best donut I ever eaten and was severely disappointed. I took one bite and spit it out. Don't piss yourself off. Save the money and drive to manna donuts.

Love this place and their donuts! Donuts are always soft and delicious. I know that after tasting these, I would not be able to go back to any other donut shop. My favorite is the fruity pebbles donut and pistachio vegan cake donut! If you have never been here or have not been able to because they close early unfortunately, then you should preorder your donuts! Preordering saves you time and energy in trying to get there early to get a good selection. Some flavors are online so definitely recommend preorder

Donuts are okay not good enough for the price they are selling them for. Also got a quote on cupcakes with just the cake and frosting nothing else included was $35. We went with just making them ourselves. They didn't even have a photobook showing cupcakes from the past they've done. SUGGESTION: Crumb Owner reduce the price of the cupcakes so you can get some pictures. Best of Luck!

I got there at 10am and they had 3 doughnuts left. It's for the best because when I seen that they charge $19 for a half dozen I knew I was outta my league lol. I'm sure the are delicious, but I will never know.

We love this place. My wife is allergic to dairy so it is great to find a donut shot that actually has a good selection (including chocolate ??). We will probably not be going anywhere else for our donuts.

I live a mile and a half away and their donuts are super good in taste and quality. One donut is the size of about 3 regular donuts combined. Definitely worth checking out. It's dange living this close to The Crumb.

Heartbreaking! Wish the original owner never sold the business. This was our family favorite. We would drive 35 minutes to come here. Not the same donuts. Are oily now. Don't taste the same. Two stars is for the staff member. She was very kind and friendly. Our last time visiting ??

Wonderful and Delicious Moist and very flavorful The bourbon maple pecan is the best doughnut I have had! I brought my three boys here and they were in awe as well. We drove from Corona and it was worth it!

The crumb provided the donuts for my wedding back in September 2018. To this day, everyone still remembers the delicious and beautifully crafted donuts. it really made our day very special! Thank you!

If you want instagrammable food without having to drive all the way to LA, then this is the spot to go to. They're way over priced for a donut with extra toppings. However, this is one of the few donut locations that actually has cronuts. The donuts are decent sized, bigger than your hand. But when you get there, if you want variety, get there early or else you'll be met with slim pickins.

Really innovative and unique eats here! Scratch made, melt in your mouth delicious creations guaranteed to raise your Glucose levels to new levels. I literally stumbled into this place since it's next to a Starbucks (which was super busy, thus my visit) met the owner, grabbed a dozen, and left with a coffee that was better than I had planned to buy next door. Win Win. I live in West LA, stop here on way to Palm Springs and back every time!! DON"T DRIVE BY or you will miss Apple Pie doughnuts - they go q

By 9am there wasn't a variety to choose from. The decorative frostings look great but for me was way too sweet. The doughnut it self was dry and tasted day old.

I've never had artisan donuts before and they were really good. They had Smore, Maple with real Bacon, Butterfinger, Apple Pie, Homer Simpson, and more flavors. All were amazing. Ham and cheese croissant was delicious. Milk on tap. Owner is awesome. I wanted to try a cronut that everyone has been raving about but apparently they sell out at 5am. Next time.

Yumm! at the Crumb...thats what I was thinkin after I left The Crumb Craft Donut and pastry shop in Yucaipa,California! The Crumb has a nice selection of delicious craft donuts freshly made on the premises-I got an apple fritter, croissant and a peanut butter and chocolate donut that were just delicious! They make their coffee fresh to go along with their delicious donuts! The Crumb is just off the I-10 freeway at Yucaipa Blvd so its super convenient before or after your day or on your way to Palm Springs,J

Delicious donuts but overpriced. They just take a basic 65 cent donut and make it above and beyond with cereal, toffe, ect. They are delicious but overpriced. Just my opinion tho. 5 stars for flavor 3 cuz of price

It's really lovely having a business like The Crumb in Yucaipa - it just feels so artisanal for our town, and I say that with only love. Perfect donuts, friendly staff, I really can't say enough about this lovely place! I'm sending people from Highland and Fontana to try you guys!

My mom brought some home from work and I ate half of every donut because 1) I have a sister 2) because I wanted to taste all the flavors 'cause my mom said that they were the best donuts she had ever tasted.

I came here once in the morning and tried a cronut. Cronut was very dense and soaked in a sticky syrup. It was difficult to eat and was quite bland. I don't know if they were sitting out for too long or if they have improved on them since, but it would make sense to make sure the cronuts you are selling are fresh. Another day I came-in and tried a fruit-burrito. I bought a lemon and one with another flavor that I don't remember. The lemon one was decent, but I could not bring myself to finish the other one

Very big fancy donuts. Be sure to visit EARLY in the morning, as they sell out very quickly. Appreciated that they offer vegan options.

The posted hours on Apple Maps state they open at 6 am, that is not the case. The owner should make sure the hours posted are consistent.

Love this shop! Very cute and hip donut shop with delicious unique donuts and great customer service. The shop owner was pleasantly friendly, greeting you with a great big smile. Did I mention the donuts were sooo delicious. Lol

Got the special Star Wars for my boss who's a big Star Wars fan. He was impressed. As well bought some of your gluten free chocolate donuts, our practice manager was in heaven.

Fantastic!!! Cannot say enough good about this place or the people. Their gluten free donuts were phenomenal, if you have dietary restrictions check these folks out.

The first thing you need to know is this: The Crumb in its current form has only been open for a couple of months. The old "Golden Crumb" had your regular donuts, available everywhere. The new "Crumb" is ARTISAN DONUTS. More expensive, much higher quality. If you care more about quality than quantity, THIS is the donut shop to go to! My favorite is the Ham and Cheese croissant. To die for!!

There was a toothpick inside the unicorn donut my three year ate this morning. My husband called this morning and they seemed very clueless that a toothpick shouldn?t be inside a donut made for a child. First rule of culinary is never put anything on or in food that isn?t edible. Especially if it?s hidden!

So far the best donut i ever try, flavor, texture and sweetness at perfection; this is the place to get a nice size donut, they have all kinds???? Choc mint so far my fav

CRONUTS! CRONUTS! CRONUTS! CRONUTS! I live in San Bernardino and this is the closest place i found to get cronuts. The owner is super sweet and the ambiance is simply lovely. Call in advance to verify they have cronuts, the morning i went someone purchased 4 dozen cronuts and only one was left! Call in advance and the owner will also make you a special order, like i said, he's sooo sweet! Go Friday, Saturday, Sunday, if you want moist succulent muffins. Bon appetit!

not sure why the donuts are so expensive when it all tastes exactly the same.... :(

Absolutely the most delicious donuts in this town! They have their go-to donuts but also have a new variety of changing flavors. Must visit!

Not your average donut shop. They take these treats to a whole new level. A bit pricey but you get something you cant get anywhere else in town.

Al I can say is she blessed me and it?s delicious?Pistachio

The staff was super sweet, and the donuts were very high in quality. I definitely reccomend going here for a good donut.

First time going to The Crumb. They were very nice, good selection of doughnuts. The Homer Simpson doughnut was very good and not greasy.

They offer really interesting and unique donuts and other pastry options. My daughter and I love it.

Some great donut options that you won't find at other local shops. You should definitely check them out if you are in the area.

Maybe try being open if you're trying to sell something. It's kind of an integral part of running a business.....

Good donuts, but not worth the price. I could have bought a dozen donuts, at a closer shop, just as good, for what I paid for three donuts!!!!

Absolutely gorgeous place, with one amazing donut designer. You must treat your clients and staff to this amazing little gem.

Two stars because they have vegan donuts. But this is always empty of products, expensive and the woman in the front is so rude.

donut quality lacks but frosting is good price is way to high please stop using gourmet when it's just decorated basic donuts

These are really good, my kids loved this place. Everyone needs a fancy donut every now and then

Went there once and it was great. A little pricy but worth it if you want quality over quantity by the way. They're huge too.

Really good donuts and coffee??

I Love the Large Donuts and the kind and friendly bakers! Good experience always
