Texas Donuts

First time at Texas Donuts, and everything was absolutely delicious! The donuts were fresh, soft, and incredibly tasty. There were so many flavors and varieties to choose from?it was hard to pick just one! I?ll definitely be coming back for more. Highly recommended!

The donuts are amazing. We had the giant Texas donut and it was probably the best donut I?ve ever had. We had one right out of the oven and it was still warm. The cronuts are also to die for. They fill the filled donuts right in the store and they actually put a good amount of filling in (no sad filling-less bites). I will say the parking lot can get really busy and tight so make sure to be careful driving and hold on to your kids? hands when going from the car to the store and back.

The best donuts I?ve had in the DMV area. Only thing that comes close are the ones from the Amish markets in MD. These donuts are light, fluffy, and melt in your mouth. Very similar to a donut spot I frequented back in the San Antonio area. They nailed it.

What a gem! Ms. Gigi was absolutely fabulous and incredibly kind. Her warm personality and outstanding customer service made our visit even sweeter. Although there was a line when we got there it moved out quickly. Staff member?s were very kind, friendly and fast. The donuts seemed fresh and very tasty. Their food did not disappoint. Would recommend !

I?ve been coming to spot since they opened a few years ago. It is always offering the best donuts in this area! I have to admit that their Cro-nuts (croissant donut) is my all-time favorite. The donuts are always freshly made fresh and their selection is perfect. With a good cup of coffee, these donuts are the perfect breakfast! Also, a Texas-sized donut is the perfect thank you gift for a colleague or teacher.

My first time at this location and it was great! Service was excellent and the donuts were amazing! I tried the coconut donut and the Raspberry filled donut and both were great. I also tried the cheddar Kolache and it definitely hit the spot. Very good place! I?m absolutely coming back!

OMG food crack! I missed up getting the jalapeno Cheddar sausage. It was nice fluffy sweetness that balance just enough to the Salty it was delicious. I ate it before I pulled off and had to turn my car off to go back in and get a half dozen. I am also picky about my donuts and the donuts are really delicious too.

Did management change? This is/was our go to donut spot and we recommended everyone to go there for donuts, apple fritters and kolaches. Unfortunately, that wasn't the case today. It wasn't good. You can tell donuts were different by just looks, but got some regardless giving them the benefit of the doubt since it has always been good. Recently, I?ve been craving a kolache, since I haven?t had one since leaving Texas. So it was fortuitous that my Google search for kolaches led me to Texas Donuts! We stopped by on a Sunday morning and this place was busy! They had plenty of staff on hand and it didn?t take long to get our order. The jalape?o and cheese kolaches were picture perfect! My wife got a bacon and egg breakfast sandwich. We both really liked what we got and the coffee was good too. The only thing I didn?t like about this location

The donuts at Texas Donuts are excellent. The cronuts are especially good. The people working there are friendly and welcoming. It's super easy and simple to get in, order, and get out quickly. It's an efficient operation they have there. Even at the end of the day, the donuts still tasted fresh and delicious. I'd definitely return for a weekly treat.

Super friendly staff. Great donuts. My kids love the Elmo and Cookie Monster donuts. I am a fan of the pistachio chocolate cronut. Other people seem to love their kolasches. I have never had one but they look and smell delicious.

Wow! Talk about some great donuts!! This location was across from the hotel we were staying at and thought we would give them a try.... Went back every day during our trip. The donuts are a little more expensive, however, they proof the dough to make them "light and airy". They also make specialty donuts. I recommend stopping by if you're in the area.

Amazingly quick and friendly staff! Great tasting donuts and the only place I?ve found in 600 miles that has Kolaches! They have cheddar and cheddar jalape?o. I wish they had ham and cheese but that ok! Would recommend any Texan missing that home town food swing through here and get a half dozen!

As a family from Texas living in DC we missed our local donut shop. This hits all the spots! Fantastic airy donuts. The oil is changed regularly (at least it seems that way from the flavor which makes a HUGE difference). The staff were super friendly. I cannot make a higher recommendation.

I stopped in to pick up donuts for work around 1 PM or so. The first thing you are greeted with is a warm smell of donuts and yeast. It smells delicious! They had multiple staff available to take orders. I had placed my pick up order on their website ahead of time. Best donuts in the northern Virginia area. If you want to try everything, I strongly recommend going early. I stayed up until they opened at 5 AM to try the specialty donuts because it finishes really fast. The apple fritters and maple glazed cake donuts were my favorite.

Fresh donuts and small business owned! Texas donuts has been on my list for a while to try out and I finally made it. I got two cinnamon sugar donuts, two chocolate glaze, one double chocolate and one cookies and cream. Cinnamon sugar was so soft and delicious! The staff are really friendly and helpful, and it was a very quick and easy trip.

This place is a hidden gem. I cannot say enough positive things about the establishment, and the quality of their food. The Jalape?o cheddar kolache is amazing. Their donuts are so fresh and delicious. My husband has a gluten intolerance and these croissants and donuts do not upset him nearly as much as other items. Any minor upset stomach he may get he says is worth it to eat their food. This place is a must try. And the workers there are all so incredibly pleasant.

The Donuts were nice and fresh, a little bit on the small side. The dough was very light and airy. There was plenty of filing in the jelly donuts we got and lots of bacon on the maple glazed donuts. The chocolate coconut sprinkled Donuts had very fresh coconut. And they all tasted like fresh cooking oil was used in the process of making them. The prices were average for this area.

Try Them!! These are delicious pastries that have been made with care. This is my first time trying Texas Donuts I am so happy I did the cronuts are so delicious not overly sweet just the right amount of flaky soft layers that makes you keep wanting more of them. Best donuts in Northern Virginia, period. If you've heard of this place, then believe the hype. They have incredible variety and high quality donuts, fun creations, and the legendary Croughnut - a croissant donut which is as good as it sounds. Take the kids in and let them pick out a few! Prices are decent too, especially compared to Dunkin for the higher quality product.

My husband and I are traveling and needed gas and to stretch, so we pulled off the highway and also found this donut shop. It smelled amazing from the outside so we had to go in. I got a red velvet with cream cheese frosting and he got a blueberry donut. They were both incredible! The donuts were light and airy with great flavor without being overly sweet.

I saw everyone raving about this place on Next Door. I wanted to see what all the hype was about so I went on Saturday morning. Believe me when I tell you I was not disappointed. These donuts are the best around! I will definitely be coming back again and again!

This is my favorite spot for doughnuts by far. They simply melt in your mouth with the right amount of glaze, as opposed to the dry and tough options at most places like 7-11 or the local grocery store. Family owned, they compete most readily with specialty shops like Dunkin or Krispy Kreme, and until they produce something like their Texas sized doughnut (glazed, chocolate and sprinkled) those guys will have to rely on name recognition to carry them. Did I mention how genuinely nice everyone treats you?

Donuts were fresh and I was in and out of there with 18 varied donuts in less than 3 min. Price for the amount of food received was fantastic. These donuts were fluffy where they needed to be and not overly sweet. My fave is the Red Velvet.

As a transplant from Texas, we?ve been so sad by the lack of donut shops in Virginia. Thankfully we stayed at the hotel across the street and noticed this donut shop. Absolutely delicious! Found this place on accident escaping 95 traffic ... as a person who can rarely base up a donut shop ..they didn't disappoint...smelled great &service was friendly and fast ...I grabbed a big glaze and hit the road ...forgot I had it so I didn't get to it until the next morning....STILL SOFT....definitely will stop by anytime I'm that way

Texas Donut is everything a true Texas donut should be. I am a native Texan (born and raised baby!) and moved to NoVa around 5yrs ago.
