Our apple fritters were crunchy and delicious! The buttermilk bar was fluffy but dense and not too sweet. The quiche looked yummy and we will try that next.Service was friendly and efficient. We will be back!
Quaint shop with daily housemade donuts, croissants, fritters, etc. Yummy freshly made quiches and a nice selection of fresh coffees. Seating on lawn at table and chairs or a few seats inside. What a local gem!

I grew up in SLO and tried nearly every donut shop in the county. These are the absolute BEST. Go early before they sell out! My dad loves the jelly-filled and Boston cream donuts, and my mom and I love the old fashioneds (they're all amazing and fresh, though). Don't sleep on the quiches, burritos, or cookies (especially the holiday cookie platters) either! Everything is delicious and affordable :) I moved to the DC area almost two years ago and none of the shops here can compare. I dream about this place.

This is one of my favorites! Privately owned, not a chain & has been there ever since I was a kid! That's some time now, but we won't give it a number. They have the best doughnuts in the county & fantastic breakfast choices as well. They make some of the best quiches around with a variety of flavors to choose from. They also have some bomb breakfast burritos, the bacon is my favorite but the sausage is my husbands favorite. They also have a couple different breakfast sandwiches to offer as well. There
Great shop. Huge selection of donuts, and Cafe items. Ready made burritos and quiches are great for a quick grab and go. The seating outside on the lawn under a huge shade tree is so nice. Easy to get in and out for parking.
Templeton Donuts is a no frills kinda place. You won't find a cronut here friends! Just really really well made donuts. Fresh. They do one fry and what's there is there. If they're out of donuts try one of the amazing quiches(bacon green onion!!) breakfast burritos or an enormous salad for lunch. Coffee is all drip and suits us just fine when we stop by for the best maple donuts ever. I also go nuts for the blueberry cake donuts! Yum. Outside area is cute for the kiddos though I wish they had a shade struct
Terrible breakfast sandwiches and burritos, they are simply microwaved. If you are looking for good fresh breakfast food this is not the place, overpriced microwaved breakfast items.

Donuts, yes, but the sandwiches and the salads are very very good. I encourage all to come for lunch. Phone it is as it can get busy, especially on BBQ tri tip days. Huge salads seem made to split. Enjoy. I do.

Omg love this place! It's a must stop for me anytime I'm in town. Everything is delicious but I come for the ham and green chili quiche! The bacon breakfast burrito is equally delicious.

Bbq Tri Tip and chicken every Friday/Saturday. You won't finder bigger sandwiches for the price (get extra meat on a chicken or tri tip sandwich if you want a good laugh, SO MUCH MEAT). Everyone who works there is very nice. Everything is always fresh because they are always busy.
Tempelton Donuts is the best shop around. Erin and Mike are hardworking, wonderful members of our community. We are luck to have such a great family-owned donut shop in Templeton!
I decided to compare my favorite donut place in Atascadero to Templeton's. My Mom and Sister helped me with the comparison. We compared apple fritter, maple bar, old- fashioned, and bavarian creme. Wow the bavarian creme was the best I had ever had. If you actually want to taste a donut go to Templeton, if you just need a sugar rush, well I guess you could go about anywhere.
Early risers to prepare fresh baked treats and wonderful on the go choices like burritos and quiche. Homey atmosphere. Children welcome!
I've never had a donut, the sandwiches are awesome. Huge, full of flavor and excellent. Great value and very fast service.
Donuts are good but you never know if they are open. I've driven there multiple times, Google maps said open, but it's closed

I needed to use the restroom! And was told there is no public restroom!?????? When you have a business with a place to sit and eat you should have a restroom to was your hands and use the restroom for you and your children. This is terrible!!!
