This place has absolutely awesome Donuts. The lower rating is because one of the reasons we go is because they have such good Bavarian cream. The problem is they don't put any cream in the long johns! They charge extra to add this cream, but they're not putting any in. Either they don't know how to work the machine or they're just chintzy with it! I do, however, love the donut holes and the red velvet donuts. We just won't buy the filled long johns any more.
This donut shop has the best apple fritter I ever had, I would drive from Lubbock just to have one. The. The kolachi is almost as good. The cinnamon rolls are freaking bomb like blow your mouth up with flavor good. They open super early and oh the regular donuts are right up there with the best in the panhandle. The only knock id say is the coffee isn't so great like sugar won't help it but hey put a couple of donuts in there and you'll never notice. Oh yeah don't drive a trailer to the drive thru its a tig
Yesterday morning, my mother asked me to stop here for some rolls, cinnamon rolls that is. She claimed that they had the best in the city. I'm an apple fritter man myself. She was right. My teast buds had a party, and the young lady who served us, she had the most beautiful smile. And extremely friendly. She, in my book, is a great asset to this shop. Tasty Donuts (formally Benjamin?s) has great donuts and a neat atmosphere. The A-frame building is a fixture on 5th street. They also offer an incredible Bulgogi burrito with a delicious sweet and sour salsa. It is of the ?foodiest? menu items in town and definitely worth a try.
The breakfast sandwiches on the fresh made croissants are the best I?ve ever had, even compared to French bakeries. I am partial to the Apple fritters as well, but everything is fantastic. The staff, always friendly and willing to chat briefly even while busy. The nostalgia is what brings me back, I?m from North Carolina and visiting this place, the smell reminds me of a beach diner with a hustle.
These are some of the best donuts I have ever eaten, very light and fluffy. They have a great variety of flavors and breakfast sandwiches plus kolaches . They need to start selling T-shirts I know I'd buy a couple
Great place for donuts. Get there early if you want a filled maple long John because those tend to go pretty fast. Have always been friendly and never spent a long time waiting in line. Keep up the good work!
Their donut holes and cherry donuts are always good, hot chocolate is sometimes watered down tasting. And the parking lot/drivethru always has potholes. Other then that its a good place to grab some breakfast!
These guys are awesome. We placed a large order for our crew of 100 and they were able to fulfill it the next day. Early hours make it easy to pick something up for the team before we start our day

Went through Plainview on my way back to Amarillo from Paducah/ Matador region. Seen this little place and all I seen was the word " Doughnuts" and it was love. I'm so glad I stopped to see these guys because it was a great..Doughnuts were still warm and coffee perfect. Guaranteed I will be stopping again on my next trip that direction. So if anyone just at happens to be in a doughnut mood or a sweetroll wantsy get to Plainview and you will be glad you did..

Can I just say BEST GLAZED DONUTS EVER!!!! Way better than any T&T donuts/ Krispy Kreme donuts all day. Prefer these over any other place. Don?t know what they do to their donuts but you can deff tell the difference!!! The donuts are SO fresh and literally melt in mouth, not from plainview so when I first tried them I was shocked! Small town but have great donuts.... worth every penny you just have to be there early before they run out!
The best coffee and donuts, it was like stepping back in time when I was a child. I had the apple Fritter and kolache.
We stopped here on our way out of town after visiting family, and oh wow. I ordered two donuts, one with strawberry frosting and another with chocolate. Just after I ordered, they pulled the fresh donuts out of the fryer, dunked them straight into the frosting and put them in a bag and handed them to me. I've never had that fresh of a donut anywhere! It was melt-in-your-mouth good. It was fun to watch as well!
Great potato flour donuts! We don't live in town, but we always get donuts here when we visit. I love their apple fritters and glazed plain donuts, and the blueberry cake donut is soft and moist. Their sourdough is good, too. They have chocolate, strawberry, cherry, and iced with sprinkles and iced with fruitloops. Plus a mocha glazed donut (I thought they were maple glazed at first)! It was good, clean environment and it was first time I've been there, it was a little slow at first but, when they got to my large order they were quick about it, Donuts are great and so are the kolaches. It's all well priced, (fairly inexpensive in my opinion). Open on SUNDAYS!
Great donuts! However always out of everything! Don't they know on Saturday morning and Sunday morning they should make more no matter what time you go they're always out of something.
I love the kolaches (similar to a pigs in a blanket, but much better) here! Their donuts are fluffy and and always taste incredible. So many flavors to choose from, and I have yet to be disappointed by one!
