We were traveling from Texas going back to North Carolina and decided to stop at Tasty Creme. ABSOLUTELY THE BEST DECISION EVER. I have NEVER in my life tasted such amazing food. From the cake donuts to the cronuts to the regular donuts and donut holes! AMAZING!!! The family was super sweet and very patient. Thank you for such a great experience. By FAR the best donut place we?ve ever been to! We?re from out of state so we stopped in for a quick bite, and we were greeted with AMAZING service and delicious breakfast. We dined in, and the whole time there was a revolving door. This place seems to have a great local support system of loyal customers. The staff were so friendly and welcoming! Since this was my first online order I decided to order a 1/2dz Glazed Donut to see if I would like ???? them. I enjoyed the room temperature doughnuts very much if nothing happens will try them heated in the microwave as well they are already a 10 out of 10
I knocked a star off due to the inconvenience. I had discovered these donuts from work. There's a doctor that buys donuts every Friday. The box it came in said 'You Deserve a Donut'. I wondered where these were from and somebody told me it was this location. Taste Creme Donuts is about 13 minutes away. So, I have to really burn gas to get there. The first attempt, I discovered they were on vacation. I should have called the store. The second attempt, I called the store to assure they were open. They answer
The glazed donuts are very good compared to Southern Maid. Great variety of donuts as well as kolaches. The service was friendly. I had a large order and they threw in two bags of donut holes.
Good experience. The Downhome Sausage Kolaches are the best. Their original glazed is really good when they don't sell out. The service is great as well. They give a military discount, so don't forget your ID.

Tried to order two donuts. Guy behind counter could not figure out what kind he was selling. Lady next to tried to tell him which donuts to get out but he could not get it right even then. Walked out in frustration after I kept trying to get him to get the right donut. If you can't figure out what the customer is ordering let someone else handle the orders. Going back to Southern Maid. Extra five miles to my drive but at least they get my order quick and easy.

The man who opened and created the original recipes was/is the best in the world. After he sold Tasty Creme, the recipes were STRIPPED down for profit. Although they are still good, it'll never be as good as it was when the Chef was operating Tasty Creme. I'd pay 100 bucks for one single cream cheese filled donut made from the original recipe.
Ordered through doordash and although they are good it's like they didn't even proof the doughnuts. They are tiny. I opened up a dozen box and was kinda disappointed especially after spending 30 dollars. Probably won't try again through doordash.
Donut selection is small, but they are fresh and flavorful. They do not have any of the hot drinks listed on their menu, except black coffee. Great for locals, but not for travelers hoping to pick up their breakfast in 1 stop.
Breakfast is great here. Everything is excellent. One of the best cake doughnuts we have ever had. The sausage kolaches are one of the best we had. The kids devoured them. The breakfast crescents were excellent. The spinach bistro my wife had me go back the next day just for one of them. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

My 3 stars are for the donuts and not the customer service. I walked into this place and said hello and waited with no response. A young man stepped away from the 3 teen to college aged young men and asked me what I?d like. I ordered, and he was pleasant. However, before I could get my donuts and kolaches, 2 Caucasian men walked in and were greeted with a pleasant, ?Good Morning!? I said to the young man, ?I couldn?t get a good morning?? Without a response, I left and WILL NOT be returning. I refuse
A little hard to find, but WOW well worth the effort. Topnotch service, excellent food and selection. I could go on all day about this location. I put this on my Google Map favorites.

Every transaction I make with tasty creme Donuts feels like the rite choice for my mornings. They offer high quality breakfast and pastries for a low cost. I cant get enough of their down home sausage egg and cheese croissants.
I like most everything from this store but the only thing I don't like in this store is the boy with a messi hair because he is too slowly taking my order and the way he put my food in the microwave, he put all my 4 sandwiches in the microwave at the same time, I have been spending around $26 every day but I don't feel happy with the services provided from this boy??

It?s pretty good it?s just not Southern Maid(they?re the best in the world). Was searching for donuts off I-20 since Southern Maid closed their store on Hearne Ave-& tasty cr?me was the only donut shop around!
Fresh, and yes they are BEST in quality and taste than southern made. You can tell these guys want their small business to succeed. They don't have the southern made establishment that is deteriorating in quality. These guys make them in small batches and with care. Everything we have tried from the Donuts to biscuits to their Earl Campbell kolaches, they are top notch. Their donuts ARE THE BEST IN TOWN. I challenge you to find a better donut in town, because you won't.....
On the cool they?re really better than southern maid. I know it?s cliche to compare them to The known donut place but Their donuts are soo good not gooey on the inside like southern. The ppl are nice and they try to cater to what you want. Like the burritos? they so Gahh damn good! One day I was like if these were crispy on the outside they would be perfect?. Tell me WHY TF I go in there THE NEXT DAY?. NEXT DAMN DAY?. Not next week, month nahhh NEXT DAY ?.. got my jimmy dean sausage, egg & cheese burrito ?

Best donuts in town! In the past Southern Maid was the place to go, and its still hard to beat a hot glazed Southern Maid. However, EVERYTHING I have ever tried from this place is AWESOME whether it's hot or cold and the staff is always friendly
STUPID FIRE. This place is right up the street from me, so I've been eating their 5-6 ? per month, for the last 3-4 years. And even after all those trips, I still haven't gotten tired of their boudin kolaches. They are addicting. Incredible. If you live in Shreveport and haven't tried one, do yourself a favor. Their prices are low and their food is bomb.

The best donut place in town. I?ve never been disappointed by the kolaches, breakfast sandwiches, breakfast burritos or donuts. It?s all really good, but the regular kolache holds a special place in my heart. Lol. I?d rate 6/5 if I could. If you are traveling through i20 and want a good quick breakfast stop skip McDonalds and whataburger and grab some Tasty Creme. You won?t be disappointed.
