Tastees Donut & Burger

Ok, donuts are great, but if you want the "best tasting" breakfast burrito in Pasadena, then Tastees is it! Not the biggest (that might be Lucky Boys), but best tasting. It's best to call and order for pick up, as it gets crowded at certain times and I've had to wait 10-15 minutes for the breakfast burrito. I gave it just 2 stars for "atmosphere," this is just a tiny little place in a strip mall, with just a few seats, and it gets so busy. It is what it is. Yummy local donut shop. We live in Burbank but likes to get donuts here from time to time or whenever we can. Soft and tasty.

Brought me and my friend to get 2? breakfast Burrito. 2 coffees. And the food is real good. My wife mona always got our Breakfast and lunch. And she will bring it home for us. But my wife passed away o. September 14 2024 from cancer. My wife love there food. I will miss my wife always. But I still go here And get. My breakfast and lunch. You will love the food. I?ve been coming to this donut shop for over 6 years, and it?s hands down one of my favorite places in Pasadena! While their donuts are great, what keeps me coming back is their bacon breakfast burrito?it?s simply the best in town! Every bite is packed with flavor, perfectly cooked bacon, fluffy eggs, and just the right amount of cheese and potatoes. It?s hearty, satisfying, and always fresh. If you?re looking for a spot to grab a delicious breakfast burrito (or a sweet treat), I can?t recommend this place

Never got a taco with orange cheese. The cashier spoke in Spanish rude comments. I called to ask to speak to the manager to complain. The lady refused to give his name or time he would be in. She says he comes and goes randomly. These people are rude and racist.

One of the best "mom & pop" burger spots still around. Burgers are big and tasty, and they are generous with their fries. The icing on the cake is the donuts; just make sure to get there early, cause the popular variations will run out.

This is not just a donut shop but they have great breakfast sandwiches. They even have pancakes too.

This was one of my favorite burger joints as a child. Seeing that it is still open and that everyone else loves the food makes my heart happy.

These people still charged me 50 cents for using under $10 debit card which is illegal in California since July 2024. Anyone going there take a picture of the sign post for .50 cents surcharge on debit card or let office of consumer affairs know and file a complaint!

My favorite place to get the secret menu item: cheese burger on glazed donut bun. Delicious!

This place knows how to do it right. The breakfast burrito, ham & cheese croissant, and cheeseburger are all some of the best around. The donuts are phenomenal, with their glazed buttermilk bar probably being my all time favorite donut.

Best breakfast burritos I?ve ate many at different spots and these are the best by far and there donuts are top tier! I suggest you call and order ahead of time cause they do take long if you order in store

Been going there for about 12 years and I go there for one thing and one thing only, their ham and cheese croissants. Hands down the best ham and cheese croissant in Pasadena and reseanoably priced given the flavor and quality. It cant be beat! Baked daily so you can actually taste the buttery, flaky, croissant and the smoked ham and the Monterey jack cheese. Wow! Come early when the croissants are still warm and try the jalapeno ham and cheese croissant but be carefull as they really add the jalapenos

Donut are delicious, my problem is, why you charge extra to pay with Apple Pay or any cc o debit cards, not recommended if you want just one donut I pay 5 dollars for 2 donuts

Totally recommend this place for your early cravings of some sugary donuts. They are always so fresh... I buy 2 or 3 boxes when I come, and I give 1for my mechanics crew, 1 for my neighbors and obviously one for me. They have a kitchen which I haven't yet tried but I always see many people getting anything from breakfast sandwiches to hamburgers. So I guess they are good.

Best soft chewy donuts in town. So good that even after buying a box the next day is still soft and chewy. Absolutely delicious, it's the best kept secret. It does get really busy in the mornings but it goes quickly. Everything is adorable.

Cash only, which is totally fine but there is no sign outside stating that. After my food had already been made the woman at the register told me that it was cash only (which I didn't have) and I told her I didn't know. She pointed to the sign inside and I told her that there was no sign outside. She said that there was, I double checked outside and told her that there in fact wasn't. She insisted that there was. All time favorite for just about everyone in the community! I used to love their turkey burgers. I wish they could get the patties they use to buy or a better brand. Aside from that, their doughnuts are the best in Pasadena!

The food and donuts are pretty good. They just take so long to make your food. The staff are ok but unprofessional. One of the women that works there is so loud you can hear her from the parking lot. You can hear her conversation and all the profanity she uses. She doesn't care if children are around.

Their donuts are simply amazing! And their burgers are pretty good too! If you haven't had one of their donuts you're missing out! They are better than Krispy Kreme in my opinion. Try them! And when you do, comment and tell the world how right I am, lol. Good job tastees!

I ask for my breakfast sandwich to be cut in half, but instead they gave me a half of a sandwich. The no speaking cooks lie. I when all the way back to this place to explain. But they lie and said it was a whole one. A good company would have not done this . I live far and I did ask for my money back. I just wanted them to know that they mis understood. I had these donuts during the Summer while I was on a job in Simi Valley. They were so good, i put them in my mental rolodex and made sure the next time I was in Pasadena I'd stop in. Plain delicious.

Filthy place, plus she started sweeping the rug into the restaurant, not out the door with me in it. I bet the health inspector will have fun with this place. Kind of run down, don't trust the food.

If u want a good breakfast or lunch but dont feel like cooking nd like it sweet n simple this is the place family owned and they been here for 15 plus years great food

This is the nearest restaurant to get burgers, patty melts, grits, etc... Prices are good. The staff is fairly friendly. The cooking isn't superb; but o.k.

Too crowded for cheap food. Presentation was bad. Pancakes broke apart because the to-go container they put them in was too small. Eggs were undercooked.
