Love those donuts but only one of the counter ladies has a halfway decent attitude. Still it's a nice place to go before work if you bring a dozen donuts back to your staff.
Please stop Burning the donuts they come out with grease cooked in them. I?ve been going there on and off for 30 years when they?re good they?re good but most of the time they burn one side and it cooks in the Grease in the donuts and you get a mouthful of grease. I stopped go their try McDonald?s try other donut places it takes too long to go to the McDonald?s I go back. Hope that is better always the same. Please find someone that can cook them like they?re supposed to be consistently. Don?t know why oth
If you're in need for an early and quick breakfast, stop at Tastee. The service is quick, the food is fresh and the grit are on point. It's not the biggest location, but the staff is quite friendly. My family and I took our meal to go, but we all agreed this spot deserves more than one visit.
Amazing lunch and top notice service from Ms Angie and Mr Mike. Ms Angie talked to us and made us feel like family. She was so awesome! She made recommendations and Mr Mike had our meal up in no time flat and even came out to tell us goodbye!
Was really good. I tried the bacon, egg sandwich. My kids love it too. We close and will be back, too good.
Fresh, hot, tasty. Catfish, cheese grits, eggs, toast and chocolate cake doughnuts. Mmmm..mmmmm. The Lady who took my order was so awesome I told her I was coming back next Sunday. The cook waved. Stopped here on Father's Day to get breakfast for my Father at 6 a.m. They had been open for an entire hour already. Very pleasant crew on deck; even the dude out front offering to do some small task in exchange for change was pleasant. I "donated." Nothing comes to a closed fist or heart.
Not the same as when I went there along time ago. Good donuts nothing special.

The lady behind the counter knew the name of every person that was in the restaurant while I was there. A very local hospitality feel. Little seating inside but it was enough. The doughnuts all looked great and our burgers were excellent.
This is an older establishment that still has the buttermilk donuts that were popular for so long. Very good donuts.

Bathroom was out of service but the Kastle burgers were delicious. Would go here again because Krystal burger can't compete with White Castle but Tastee can.

We had a large order, so we split the other and paid separately. Was charged for everything, and still didn't get everything we paid for in the bag. Apple fritters was to dark, over done.
It was absolutely a horrible experience and the hour said they stayed open till 5:00 p.m. . When I got there someone said oh they left at 4:00 p.m. I don't know who owns this place but they need to get better workers and better services. I wouldn't spend a dollar there

Stopped to buy donuts for my mom. There is an odor/ smell inside & it offended me. Back in the 70's I ate from there often,but it has changed 100 percent. I don't like the look of the pastries & it just doesn't look clean inside.

Everything was fast, fresh and good to go. The staff was very nice and friendly. The young lady at the register was so sweet, and listened to me and gave direct eye contact when she was taking my order, and offer assistance with the bags I had.

I grew up eating at this location. Before my Grandpa past away, we would often visit as he lived nearby on Center Street near the old High School. There was NOTHING like a dozen Tastee burgers and a Silk Chocolate Milk. I was only 10 years old but still till this day some 15 years later, I am still craving this exact locations perfect Tastee Kastle burgers. If the owners are reading this, even if owners have changed since the year 2000, please know the great satisfaction that this place leaves people with.
We can?t help but stop here when we visit New Orleans. The apple fritters are soooo good. My husband gets the sliders and I usually go for a traditional burger. No bells and whistles. Just an affordable place to eat with affordable pricing.

In town for a few nights. I just had to go in and try it out (fatty). This place has me questioning Krispy Kreme! The fritters are as big as a man's fist if not bigger. Sooo good. Will be back every time!
Tastees has the best donuts. I do not care if they are 4 hours old...they are way better than fresh Krispy Kremes. Service was fast and people were friendly.

Doughnuts are great That?s about it . They won?t do pick up orders, Apparently you apparently can?t eat breakfast at 10 o?clock which seems absolutely insane for a doughnut shop , especially one that sells 75% food.
Best dam donuts in town. Way better than city donuts. Only thing that comes close is hurts d nuts by dave and busters. But tastee is still the best.

Cook could have put more effort into making the castle burgers. The meat, cheese and onion were just placed on the bread abd the bread wasn't toasted.
