Swillerbees Craft Donuts & Coffee in Ormond

Had a coffee date with a friend and it was the first time I had been out. I got an iced Knees bees and it was soo good the local honey really made the coffee,I also got an egg salad on a croissant it was delicious. My friend got a lemon custard doughnut and for me who?s not a big fan of lemon flavor this doughnut was TO DIE FOR. It was so full of a lemon custard it was dense the sugar on top was toasted. The girls were super nice and the place was really clean.

My family enjoys coming here to get donuts and breakfast sandwiches. My children love to play with the kitchen area for kids. They love serving up play donuts while we wait for food. Delicious food, fast moving line, minimal wait time for food.

This place is definitely a gem. Whether you?re a coffee lover, a donut enthusiast, or just looking for a great snack, it?s absolutely worth the visit. Firstly they open at 6am so you can swing by, grab a coffee and a donut and still make it to the beach for sunrise. They just opened at the Ormond Beach location so they had limited food items. The jelly donut was really good. Good amount of jelly inside. The cinnamon bee sting was fairly good but a bit on the plain side. The young ladies were quick to greet us as we walked in the door and very friendly. Nicely decorated inside. The donuts are really really good. Looking forward to trying other food items in the near future.

The atmosphere & place itself: Beautiful, it?s super cute & even has a little section for kids to play. It can be a little crowded if a lot of people are there. Amazing HUGE donuts, super trendy and fun with beachy historic vibes. Love the old Ormond Beach photos everywhere! Also so sweet that it is a family business that lives in the surrounding area! They were very busy on a Saturday which is great and everything came out timely. everyone and the girl at the register was super friendly! Honey lavender iced coffee is amazing! I visited Swillerbees while vacationing with my family. I was impressed with the quality of food and the cafe itself. The breakfast sandwich (BLT) had a generous portion of bacon made fresh that morning on the grill. They had a variety of craft donuts which were very fresh! I found the prices to be very reasonable too.

First disappointing visit at the Ormond location. I don't think they have measurements for the staff to use on the sandwiches for consistency. Smallest amount of salmon on my husbands bagel he has ever had and the chicken salad was spread so thin I mostly tasted the croissant. Positive note, our iced drinks were great, tasted just like a chocolate covered strawberry!

Today instead of our usual Dunkin Donuts, we went to Swillerbee's in Ormond Beach. It was such a quaint little shop and it gives off great vibes that even my 11 yr old Granddaughter picked up on. The food was very good and the service was great. We got 4 donuts, 2 small Latte's, and 2 sandwichs for $40. The prices were a bit crazy for what you get. We got 4 different donuts and all of them were just okay. Unless the prices drop significantly, this was a one and done for me.

Waited in front of the register too long, the boy and girl staff could not even say hi. Theres an iced coffee made and none of them knew what it was when one of them couldve made that. Still didnt get my order, just casually doing their own thing. Im getting tired of these people working with zero customer service. Let me start by saying I'm not a big donut person, so I only got some donuts for my kids and a breakfast sandwich with a coffee for myself. First, I got the ham and jam on a bagel with an iced campfire coffee. The coffee was great; it is heavy on the chocolate but tastes just like a campfire?deep, a little bitter, sweet, and a little smokey. I got the boston cream donut and had high expectations because it looked so tasty. I cut it in half to view the cream interior and was disappointed as there was maybe 2 level tablespoons of cream in the center the rest just being plain. The cream also had little flavor. The chocolate top was very tasty. The donut itself was average.

Cute little place and donuts are huge and there's a unique selection. When we did a big office catering, some of the cute things on the craft donuts were left off, like the syrup shooters on the maple donut.

My husband and I were there on Friday at 8:30am. The inside is very cute and whimsical. We got to the counter and it was very clear that the girl working there was having a bad day. She was not friendly at all. My husband said at one point he noticed that she was glaring at me while I was deciding on my 2nd doughnut. I guess I was taking too long. We ending up purchasing four donuts, which was around $13.50. The doughnuts were very good, but I'm not sure we'll be returning.

I?m not sure they taste what they are making there? Extremely dense for a yeasted doughnut. Much too much dough for the size. Little to no flavor in the glaze. Could taste the stale fry oil. Coffee was good, staff friendly.

Cute shop, but these are not the type of doughnuts we like. The doughnut itself tasted more like a brioche and not at all like a doughnut. Doughnuts and high humidity also aren't a good mix. I'm happy for the customers that like this, but we will not return.
