This place is GREAT. I had experienced my first ice cream donut sandwich in LA prior to my visit, so I was super excited to see if I could find something similar around me. And I DID! The employees were so nice and the sandwich was absolutely delicious. The perfect sugar high.

It was a very intimate space with sweet ladies working in there!! They were super kind and friendly. We parked at a lot nearby and walked over. I got the doughnut sandwich with salted caramel ice cream topped with Cinnamon Toast Crunch and m&ms. It was DELICIOUS!!

We went there for the Krabby Pattie Kollab and we were pleasantly surprised. For a small shop downtown, the ice cream and donut were amazing. There's nowhere to sit so just know going in that you have to stand or take it with you.

Great overall experience. Only issue was the milkshake machine seem to be out when I visited. I hope it isn?t a regular thing here. Great tasting ice cream, some vegan options, and service was fast. Got a sweet tooth right now? Can?t go wrong here and it doesn?t break the bank.

I was visiting my daughter at her College and wanted some ice cream so I searched for ice cream near me and this place came up. When I mentioned the name to her she said that a lot of the students go there and have said that the ice cream is pretty good. Being that I love ice cream I was quite excited about having ice cream that was so close to us but more importantly the fact that their website mentioned vegan ice cream. I like this place. The ice cream was really good, and the vibe is pretty dope. Service was pretty slow, but it's still a little chilly and not peak spring/summer, so I didn't expect more then one person there. They have these little ice cream sandwich things that make that are pretty good, but completely impractical. I'll definitely swing back around when summer's in full swing.

I have to say that this is one of the best ice cream places I have ever been to. The employees are amazing, and they live up to there name. I tried every ice cream they have and everything was beyond amazing. I can't wait to come back here when I visit ATL again!!

The place is amazing. The girl behind the counter, Dahlia, would not let us purchase a flavor without trying it first. Donut ice cream sandwiches are the best thing that's happened to Atlanta in a while. Don't sleep on it.

I must admit, I was excited about visiting this black owned ice cream shop. My son wanted to try the ice cream sandwich. First of all, the place was very clean & inviting. They adhere to Covid procedures, and only allow 4 customers in the store at a time. I was a bit underwhelmed as the flavor of the birthday cake ice cream was just okay. And I was hoping for a homemade tasting cookie, but it was just average. My son enjoyed it enough that we will try it again. I love that they offer vegan options as well.

I got the donut sandwich and it was so good, definitely could?ve shared between two adults. They have standing room inside but no seating. I would definitely come back and try other flavors. Ice cream was OK, nothing incredible. They were also out of a few signature ice cream flavors, which didn't add to the experience for sure. Price of rent is likely driving up the price of ice-cream. If you are in the area it's worth a drop of you need ice-cream, but I wouldn't walk 15 minutes to get there.

This is the best ice cream I've had in atlanta. The flavors were fantastic and the waffle cone was nice and crispy.

This was a pretty dope spot! The staff was very attentive and they all had smiles. Sweet Stack creamery had a variety of toppings like a donut and ice cream sandwich which will easily put you into a diabetic coma! LOL! They have the old-school flavors for example chocolate chip mint and they also rock exclusive flavors like the "black panther" which has activated charcoal, Oreos and vanilla wafers. We stopped there when we were driving back to Charlotte. The owner himself served us and welcomed us even though we came after he was about to close. I got the red velvet and my cousin got the vanilla ice cream, ice cream is out of this world. The owner is an ice cream connoisseur. He knows his stuff. The cookies were the show stopper, the bite is a soft subtle crunch with and flaky finish. Rich in chocolate. Just do yourself a favor and go, I want to go back and try the cookie sandwich and donut sandwich.

This place it pretty good! They have vegan cashew based ice cream options and they are pretty good!! I had a vanilla vegan cone and it was very creamy. One scoop in a waffle cone was around $6 which I feel is pretty standard for a city based icecream shop. The owners were all nice and welcoming and wanted to get me and my friend's feedback on the icecream, the prices, and the atmosphere! Good spot for super sweet tooth people. It is definitely sweet overload. However, it is better than I expected. If the donut is less sweet, it ll be much better (my humble opinion). I love Cuban coffee flavor, and I regret to add another flavor on my ice cream donut sandwich. My cousin has sweet dream flavor with fruity flakes that is eye-catching sandwich but not too rich in flavor.

This is just some random ice cream shop we stopped in because the one we?ve been trying to go to for days was closed. But this place ended up being wonderful. My boyfriend got the ice cream donut sandwiches. He claims it was the best. Perfectly made. No mess.

Went for a late night ice cream after dinner They had a lot of options which was great! We have never been here so we wanted to try most of the flavors before ordering but for some reason the people working were very hostile about serving samples. But regardless the scoops that we got were very reasonably portioned for a low price. The flavors were great too!

If you are a sweets lover like me, this is the place for you. The highlight for me was the "Sweetstack." Think of "the Luther" from boondocks with ice cream sandwiched between a doughnut. It was pure decadence. The entire place smells delicious. Definite tasty spot in the city. Limited Parking available in the attached garage. Ample street parking options.

Fabulous local ice cream shop offering inspired flavors. Definitely get the ice cream sandwich, it might sound indulgent but it?s perfect. I love the cereal milk ice cream, my favorite of theirs, pictured here. Right by / next to GSU campus so perfect if you?re visiting for a tour or visiting a current student or if you?re stopping by the Apex Museum or the Auburn Avenue research library. There?s a parking deck in the same building for easy and free parking to grab your cone!

They did a popup behind Old Lady Gang last weekend and these donut ice cream sandwiches are sinfully delicious. Will definitely have to get by the brick and mortar store.

i was driving from one area of the city to another with a friend and we both agreed we could go for some ice cream. i looked up ?ice cream near me? and found sweet stack. how lucky were we?? wow! seriously the creamiest, dreamiest ice cream i?ve ever had! also they seriously pack the cup with ice cream. $5 and some change isn?t bad! will definitely be back to try more flavors.

The wakanda ice cream is amazing. It's sweet and very creamy. They also have many other great flavors. Love this place. Will be back. On top of all of that great customer service and it's black own.

I have Celiac disease and didn't expect to be able to get anything here, I simply came with friends. Bella greeted me and instantly made me feel welcome, despite my allergy. She even pulled the ice creams out and went through the ingredient lists to confirm what ice creams I could have. This was one of the best experiences I've had at an ice cream shop before. Worst experience ever. 1st time ordered a cookie stack delivered and they sent ice cream only. I called to ensure they would Make the second one right. Ordered cookie stack. They sent a donut stack. It?s not that freaking hard people. Cookie stack means COOKIE. Donut stack means DONUT. Ice cream means ICE CREAM ONLY. I called to let her know they got it wrong again - she then hung up on me. Horrible customer service, totally rude and obviously not the smartest people on the bunch.

I really enjoyed the ice cream here! They had some really unique flavors and huge portions! My favorite was the mint and Havana. However some of the flavors had an excessively artificial/sugary taste that I didn?t enjoy. I know it?s ice cream?it?s sweet, but some flavors tasted sugary in a bad way.

Fun idea but not so great in execution. Got the donut sweet stack and the donut was pretty dry, not really warm at all despite the heat pressing, and didn?t really add anything to the ice cream. I went in for a milkshake, they served my friends a milkshake, then when she got to take my order she told me she said wasn?t making anymore. I discussed wanting a milkshake beforehand so saying I couldn?t get it was upsetting! Also took about 30 minutes to even have someone ask for my order. Customer service is so bad.

The ice cream flavors are just wow. Loved the mango and cereal combo. I was hesitant to try the sandwich variant but probably give it a shot on my next visit. It's okay. We love ice cream, so we enjoyed the sweet treat, but it's nothing over the top spectacular. They don't make it themselves. Portions were incredibly inconsistent. We each ordered single a scoop in a cup. One of us got a healthy, heaping scoop. One of us barely got a full scoop, and one of us got a scoop somewhere in the middle. One of the girls seemed grumpy, so she seemed to take.it out on us customers by short-changing us on portions. We won't be back.

I love the fact that they're Black Owned. The ice cream is overpriced but if you're a GSU student they give you a percentage off. They also have happy hours for everyone! Giving a 2 star instead of a 1 star because the staff were TRULY in the weeds. The 1 star is because of these reasons: 1) cleanliness. Non-existent. The ice cream is store bought, the donut wasn?t heated up, and there was burnt crusts on the donut from the uncleaned press. The service was not friendly and the line was long, you have to wait outside the door because these fools are still on covid rules. Price point is way too high. Spending $9 for an ice cream sandwich. Average ice cream. Awful location. Zero seating. I came here with the wife and kids. It's a pretty sketchy area. There were two homeless guys right out front. No seating, so we had to run back to the hotel to have the average ice cream.
