Highly recommend this donut shop! They were extremely accommodating, kind and most importantly the donuts were delicious!! They created custom donuts for our gender reveal that were so yummy and cute! They have tons of options so make sure to look through pictures in reviews for ideas! Also.. they customized donuts for us based on flavor requests same day right in the shop! So impressed! We loved the lemon pistachio and bacon maple.

"the" plush apple fritter?light glaze but heavy on the bread. it's got that classic apple tang with an airy, doughy donut that's definitely for the carb lovers. the vietnamese coffee was a tad smaller and bitter, not much sweetness to round it out; decent spot, just a tad pricier.

Aug 23, 2024 This was my 1st time coming. My daughter and I picked a variety of donuts to try. I'd been looking for a good donut place since moving back to LB a few months ago. From my 1st bite I was hooked! This is our place to go now. The staff were amazing and so helpful. The vegan donuts also looked delicious. We had the regular donuts this time around but im sure we will sample all they have to offer.

Delicious donuts- light and airy and perfectly sweet- and the fresh fruit slushies were absolutely amazing. My super finicky husband declared it was the best he?s ever had. Super friendly service, too. I would post photos, but everything was consumed too quickly.

Update: new favorite, red velvet cake donut!!! I love their donuts! All of them! Their drinks are so good. Boba is great. Everyone there is so nice. My daughter and I love this place so much. They have regular and vegan donuts. Both are amazing.

They have the best coffee (when made correctly, not all employees make it the same) and a nice fresh variety of donuts. The only thing is they?re consistently never on time whether it?s the opening hours or just being prepared with a full selection right at opening. It would be nice to get something before school at 8 but even with their new hours opening at 7 doesn?t change much?

I passed by here because of happycow and got some donuts. They have more variety Friday and Saturday. I got half a dozen with a discount plus an extra (that I didn't have to pay for), that could be because I was reaching there close to closing. Anyway if you are ever in the mood for a donut you should visit. They have both vegan and regular sweets, so everyone can go. The donuts I purchased were maple, cinnamon, lemon glaze(one with the strawberry) and passion fruit. All were ??

The donuts were so greasy you couldn?t eat them. Never had donuts so greasy. It was disgusting. Had to throw them out. Only one of the donuts we bought was not. But 3/4 were inedible.

Absolutely love this place, I had them cater for my daughters birthday and everyone really enjoyed the donuts. The hibiscus was the star of the show but my personal favorite has to be the blueberry with lemon glaze!

This place is amazing! They were still setting up shop and only had a few doughnuts in front but could take orders. I ordered 6 vegan ?cake? doughnuts. When they came out the doughnuts were piping hot! Freshest vegan doughnuts I have ever eaten. Super unique flavors! Beautiful presentation!. PLUS discount for complete vegan orders!

I've missed those cake donuts since going vegan, so when I found out that this place had vegan donut options, I immediately made a trip there. Donuts are delicious! And they have a ton of options along their regular donuts. They also serve coffee and smoothies!

VEGAN DONUT HEAVEN! Their Tiger?s Tail may be better than any dairy-made donut I?ve ever had. The atmosphere is contemporary compared to its surroundings, and the staff is very friendly. I?d recommend the Tiger?s Tail, the Apple Fritter (not vegan), and the Oreo Chocolate Peanut Butter??

This is a family owned donut shop. They make gourmet donuts for a very reasonable price. They have also made letter donuts for me and do amazing job! Love them! Recommend you order at least 4 days prior for custom orders. Happy Chomping

I visited once in April 2018 and people still talk about it in October 2023. Vegan and delicious.

They special-made some vegan raised donuts for me (they were out of a few flavors but they still had plenty of choices) and they threw in a rose cake donut for free (also vegan). The donuts were all delicious. I?ll definitely be back.

Donuts and coffee are fantastic. Wether or not they're open yet is another story. When I can get coffee here I'm happy but more often then not there's a sign on the door when I arrive that says open at 7:30 or 8 or even 8:45. Other donut shops o po en as early as 2am so I can actually spend money before work

If you want to pay $3.00 dollars for a soft drink, go to Maverick before coming here. If you go through the drive thru, expect to wait longer than needed. If you want to spend more money on a plain donut, go to a more realistic donuts shop.

Had a couple vegan donuts and a Mexican Mocha. The coffee was great! That's what really impressed me. The flavors in the coffee were just right. The raised donut was particularly fluffy and satisfying. Great job. Hopefully they can grow their vegan offerings.

Hidden gem! Went there last week and it was amazing. They had a few vegan options when we went but they were great, reasonably prices. And their regular donuts were the best I've had in a long time. Normally when I buy donuts they get stale the next day or the night of, but these were so soft and melt right in your mouth. Definitely will be coming back for sure. Its hard to spot since the large sign just says donuts, but once you do find it, you?ll be glad you did. The donuts are a bit pricey but completely worth the cost. They even have vegan donut options which I was so happy about! Note: on Monday-Thursday , the vegan donuts are cake-y donuts (meaning they crumble when you bite them), whereas Friday-Sunday, they sell vegan raised donuts. I LOVE the glazed donuts. Theyre classic and not as fancy as some of the other options but wow they are perfect. My favorite donut from here is the taro or ube Mmmmm. You can call/text in advance for special orders. The vietnamese coffee is the best. So strong. So good. I miss all the board games they used to have pre-2020 but I heard they might be coming back! My kids love coming here.

They have really good vegan raised donuts (the cake are just ok) and I was excited to get some on a Sunday morning. When I arrived all that was there were cake donuts and the teen worker rudely told me they weren?t making any more vegan donuts. Why offer raised donuts on the weekends if you don?t even have any ready and only make a certain amount before stopping? I will not be coming here for donuts again.

The first time we came to this place the lattes and donuts were the very best. I?ve gone at least 8 times after sporadically and the girls currently working there get my drink wrong every single time. Sweet Retreat offered a good variety of vegan fried cake donuts. The vegan cake donuts were really lite and fluffy. I bought the vegan passion fruit glaze, chocolate with coconut, sugared, berry, raspberry and fruity pebbles. All of the flavor options were amazing. The customer service was also phenomenal.

Everytime I am in here it feels relaxing and exciting even if I am in a rush. The staff is cool and the donuts just hype you up. Their vegan donuts are awesome even though I'm not a vegan but I'll buy them from time to time for me or friends who are. They can't believe how good it tastes compared to pricier vegan donuts elsewhere. The service is great because every member has a favorite item in most categories that they'll talk about and offer suggestions. There are some "wacky" donuts that look good too.

The quality and taste of these donuts are immaculate. I haven?t tasted anything vegan that?s just as good as these donuts were. I recently had to switch to vegan for health reasons and Hands down I?m going to gain like 50 pounds by the amount of time I plan on spending here because I?m in love.

Fast professional service. First time there, got a bit crowded. I still asked a couple of questions, the girl still answered my questions and was moving quick. I got a red eye, which is a coffee with a shot of espresso (I didn't know what it was) and a cream cheese croissant. Both delicious. Definitely need to go back and try some of their fancier stuff.

Omg, I had the banana cake donut with chocolate and it was goooooood! I also got the pineapple glaze and it was unbelievably moist, the best donut I've ever eaten. I wouldn't expect this kind of donut shop to be in this location. The lady who helped me was extremely friendly and helpful. Can't wait to go back to try them all.

Was so excited to have a vegan option! I learned last year I had an egg allergy, and I?ve been so sad to learn how much carries egg in it! Pastries are hard to come by without egg (it basically has to be a vegan type of pastry). This place has such an assortment for vegan donuts!! Soooooo goooood.

Incredible vegan raised and cake doughnuts! I can morally only give four stars because it?s not all vegan, but their vegan doughnuts are a 10!! I seriously can?t say enough good things about them! Cake ones are available every day, and raised ones that taste like a mixture of heaven and the best thing in earth are available Friday through Sunday.

This place just opened up in August of 2015, and boy, are they fantastic! Some things you do need to special order (which means they make it there, it's not pre-made), like donut-ice cream sandwiches. I had a cinnamon roll/twist thing with apples and raisins in it, and it was absolutely fantastic! If you're in West LB and you're craving a donut, go here!

What a great little place that from the outside looks very unassuming. This is not your basic little shopping plaza donut store. These are clearly homemade with pride and DELICIOUS! The interior is funky with an artsy vibe and the owner works making donuts and helping the customers. Awesome donuts!

THIS PLACE IS FANTASTIC!!! As foodie with a major sweet tooth, I am super picky, especially regarding things being homemade and using REAL ingredients, not artificial, cheap garbage. Most donut places, even expensive "gourmet" ones, use fake whipped cream as you would find at Krispy Kreme (or in a Twinkie). Cute oasis - made for a very welcome retreat from traffic and chains. Tasty donuts (blueberry cake crumb), smoothies, and espresso. I also saw they have flavored milk teas l.

This place was glorious.. at first the place looked like any other lil donuts shop .. but nope the treats that come out of here are the most delicious in long beach.. so far.. we had the maple bacon bar and the strawberry and cream (both made upon request).. too good for words.. mm mmm mmmm.. we also tried a lemon drop and an hibiscus cake donut.. both vegan and both the best cake donut I've ever had in my life.. they were both moist/soft and packed with flavor.. we also had two slushie.. one with boba one
