If you have been to a Korean bakery, this place is fantastic. If you have never been to Korean bakery, please go. The sweetness is turned down. There is more flavor than just sugar. While these desserts are sweet, they aren't pure sugar. Some pastry are savory as well.
This was our first visit here, and we were like kids in a candy store. We really weren't looking for anything in particular, but left with a few cakes and danishes to try. This shopping center caters mostly to Asian based businesses. There is plenty of parking, but it is very crowded on a Saturday. This store was not crowded, but busy. The store is ground level, so there is easy handicap access.
Super sweet and delicious first time visit in this place, the method to take different variety of desserts was so good to me. I could try different new bakery that I had never tried before! Sometimes the place is so crowded, but the line moves fast. Also the prices are no cheaper so prepare to being really selected or bring enough for your selection of sweet products!
Walking through the door, the first thing I noticed was how lively the atmosphere was. The space was bustling with a mix of people?some on their laptops, others chatting with partners or groups of friends. The location is convenient, though there?s a bit of traffic passing by. Luckily, there?s a paid parking lot right across the street, making it easy to find a spot. Just be sure to leave the lot on time to avoid getting a ticket. Once inside, I noticed that some shelves were running low on items, but a st
Sweet Hut in Duluth is a great spot for a cheat day treat. We tried the taro pastry, Egyptian butter bread, and a few other soft, moist pastries. They also offer boba tea and coffee, though I?d recommend other spots for boba if that?s your main craving. It?s a cozy caf? with plenty of seating?great for studying, working, or spending time with family like we did.
One of the best spot to stop by. As soon as I entered i love the vibes of it. So many options with coffee, bread and bubble tea! I highly recommend to go this place.
Sw It used to be one of my favorite bakeries in and around Metro Atlanta, but having visited the BufordHwy store, this one at the Duluth is not as good as that cafe both in ambience and the cakes. Food: The cake slices/ mousse were not up to the mark to begin with. So we tried out our most favorite, Tiramisu cup and it was absolutely bland. No sweet or no coffee taste either, just bland. The Hazelnut Nutella Mousse was just out of the world in my opinion. The Strawberry Yogurt was just okay. Got Blackfore
I?ve not been back in a few months but today I ordered the chicken wings. Two of them were raw in the middle and I?m pretty sure I ate a good bit of the raw chicken. I told an employee and told them that I did not want a replacement. He then proceeded to still make one but at that point I didn?t want to even see the wings anymore because I felt disgusted. I was never offered to speak to a manager or brought a manager which is kind of concerning considering the severity of my complaint. It?s about an hour la
We love to come here for pastries and chicken nuggets. But ! Can?t believe that it?s always a mess whenever we came here. If we want to eat here we literally have to clean our own table. Just wonder how clean their kitchen would be ???!!!!!
Nice place with plenty of choices, the pastry is excellent, drove an hour just for their product. They run out of items quick tho, very busy. The check out is not as friendly as expected either, I seemed to be more of an inconvenience to them. Update: I contacted Kavi with the provided info, to this day I haven?t got a reply.
Good place to go take a drink eat some desert and read a book and chill or even to do you school work is great and the desert was perfect no to sweet
Sweet Hut has a great selection of pastries. I specially like their chicken patties. The fruit cake is also amazing - just the right amount of sweetness and moistness. I come here regularly for their goodies! I do think that the seating areas and tables can be a bit dirty sometimes. It is understandable given the volume of people that the place sees everyday but routine cleaning of the seating areas could help with better ambiance.
Great selection of pastries. We got the signature milk tea with boba and that was good. The Pomegranate tea wasn't what I expected. Just a tea bag with hot water and ice. It's my pet peeve when people give me tea bag at a boba tea/pastries place. I always feel like it's a rip off cause I have plenty of different tea bags at home. Other than that, the drinks were good, good pastries with reasonable prices versus other tea/bakery nowadays. Spacious in side. Great selection of small birthday cakes or custom
This was my 1st time visiting Sweet Hut. The staff was super helpful and very personable. My adult son and I wanted some Boba milk tea. With so many options in Duluth(you could throw a stone from my house and hit at least 10-15 Boba tea places) I "googled" best Boba in Duluth and Sweet Hut came up high on the list. So we stopped there and I was surprised by the amount of baked goods that they have! Everything looked delicious but we were on our way to an appointment so we didn't have a lot of time to browse
Delightful place to have an awesome dessert or birthday cake . So delicious it satisfies everyone's taste
Great and wonderful bakery selections, reminded me of my time in Taiwan, they have small menu for meals such as sandwiches and side dishes but they all are delicious. The dine in needs an update table/ chairs are not stable and outdated.
While visiting my family here in GA, my husband and I came to Sweet Hut Bakery and Cafe. The restaurant was very clean, the presentation of all the food in the food cases were organized and visually appealing. They have so much goodies to choose from doughnuts, to different pastries, to sandwiches. Staff were nice and friendly and they also give veterans a 10% discount!
I went here a few days before Halloween, thus the decorations are on point for the time of year. My friends and I came here late about an hour before closing. The staff was very nice and accommodating. We were not the only ones there late, I didn't feel pressure to leave and the staff was slowly closing. The bakery area is clean, organized, and services were done at a timely manner. I've come a few times and I've never been disappointed with the quality of the food and service.
As I craved a nice, soft pastry I searched for something different that could meet my uncertain but specific craving. Sweet Hut appears, and due to my submission to convenience, it was the closest place. Entering, I notice how spacious it is, with a designated area for sitting to enjoy any drinks or sweets one chooses to indulge in. It feels bigger than it probably actually is, was not at all crowded when I visited, and seemed pretty clean. Who doesn't appreciate organization and cleanliness. The staff all
I have been here twice now and was looking forward to a third time because we enjoy the variety of pastries and beverages. But today, as my husband and I were waiting at the pickup counter for my coffee, we observed an employee in the food prep area blow his nose twice IN THE FOOD PREP AREA! To add insult to injury, said employee DID NOT WASH HIS HANDS afterwards, but resumed preparing drinks. None of his coworkers seemed to notice or have a problem with this. As a result, we won?t be returning to Sweet Hut
Very spacious Asian bakery with a variety of pastries and drinks. Plenty of tables to sit down and relax. We tried the large cold drinks + $2 for surprise stuffed animal keychain. Taro and matcha egg tart wasn't as good as we expected but the jasmine green tea, and honey jasmine tea was very delicious. Strongly recommend this place for dessert.
Edit #2: Yup, going down to 1 star now. Don?t promise to ?fix the situation? then literally disappear for a month and counting. Very disappointed in Sweet Hut and especially Kavi. As life-long customers, my family and I will NOT be giving y?all any more money again Edit: Removed another star because it has been two weeks since I sent the email and I still have not heard back from them. Bought a 6 inch mango cake and there were several tiny hairs on the mousse and a few on the mango part :/ The cake was al
This bakery is a hidden gem. This is a great Asian style bakery with lots of delicious pastries, cake and buns to choose from. The Portuguese egg tarts were amazing - light flaky pastry and delicious eggy filling! If you are a serious tea drinker, this is the place for you. The combinations are unusual - Thai Iced Tea, Mango Green Tea, Lychee Black Tea .....and you can adjust the sweetness to your liking. It was also very reasonably priced!!
Would not recommend ordering hot food if you're in a rush. Ordered a sandwich to go, it took 40 minutes. The person in front of me ordered 3 sandwiches, it also took 40 minutes. A couple in front of us ordered a fry and a sweet potato fry and was also there for 30 minutes. I'd understand if the sandwich was the best thing ever or even really good, but it was just okay. Cheese was cheese, meat was a little dry, sauce was okay, and the fries were unevenly salted (some were way too salted). The breads also s
I was so happy to find my favorite bakery snacks from all my travels through Asia? It tasted as if I was still there
We spent $55 for some pastry items, two mango slushiest, and a half loaf of bread. The mango slushy was not good in my opinion. My son said was just ok, but to me it tasted like it had an aftertaste of medicine. The Asian cheesecake pictured in the square container was OK had no flavor the Lychee mascarpone cake was decent and I like the fact that it had a whole Lychee in the middle. That was a nice touch. The strawberry cream puff was OK we?ve had so much better at another Asian bakery. The strawberries
This sweet hut is great. They had their anniversary specials this week so we bought their cute plushie boba cups. The wings were juicy and crispy. All their buns were well stocked and fresh.
VERY cheap with the taro in the taro loaf. The two pieces on the left have the most amount of taro and the ones on the right are pieces in the middle. Why is Atlanta like this, everybody cheaping out on things? in California when you buy taro loaf 1/2 of it has loads of taro throughout. This is just sad little strands of taro. They should call it ?hint of taro loaf?
I love this place! I feel like a kid in candy land. A huge selection of Asian breads with taro, sweet beans, sausage, chocolate! You also can enjoy your many different coffee and boba tea. Plenty of space to bring friends to chat. My only complaint is this place opens so late like 1000 am! I like to eat bread in the morning with my coffee? If you are on diet, just keep driving?.lol.
The pastries were awesome. Loved all of them which we got. Fries ?? were the best. Specially the seasoning. Tried their cappuccino was on the point. Will definitely visit again. Its not clean though like the tables were not clean and was sticky
I have been going to Sweet Hut for years. I try to support small businesses and also fellow Asians. Last week, my daughter and I went there to buy some pastries and drinks. We sat in one of the booths. As much as I want to provide support, I have to be candid and share that the table was not cleaned. There was also a chicken bone on the floor. There were crumbs on the seats. The customers are supposed to put away their own utensils etc. However, every time I visited SH, I noticed that no one actually clean
Like most sweet huts, they have a lot of dessert options as well as food. The building is spacious, and has great value for the food. And the place is very clean, and the people working the counter are nice. Would recommend if you have a sweet tooth or want to carry some sweets home.
Again my daughters other favorite place for her milk teas. I think we have honestly visited every sweet hut in Ga. Lots of parking space, lots of interior seating. Very cute little area one of our favorite sweet hut locations
Sweet Hut Bakery & Cafe is a delightful spot with a fantastic selection of fresh pastries, desserts, and bubble teas. The cozy atmosphere and friendly service make it the perfect place to satisfy your sweet cravings. A must-visit for any dessert lover!
I purchased a caramel pudding this morning from Sweet Hut in Duluth as a dessert for my husband's dinner. Unfortunately, when he opened it, we were shocked to find black spots and white mold inside. The sight was absolutely disgusting and completely unacceptable... The latte sea salt was also bad... Horrible... I would give a 0 star.
We stopped on our way back home to SC. As usual, we ordered lots of things to try. We haven't gone through all of it yet but what we have tried has been tasty.
My favorite place to visit! Good price and good food!
Bakery, grill, food and beverages available. Bulgulgi cheese steak and salt n pepper wings are currently my favorite! Thai ice tea slush was sweet and refreshing. Service is pay, then wait. Items come out as available, this the rating as a 3. You can wait anywhere from 3 to 10 minutes between items ordered. Better kitchen time management is needed. Food and beverages are wonderful and staff is friendly and courteous! Large space for dine in, but this is self serve and self pick up. No waiters. Pay and go
I usually get the pastries; I don't have a favorite; they are all yummy to me! Lol. They have parking?a huge plus?and it's always clean. It's kind of like a hidden gem.
It seems that this place is trying to get over on the public by reducing its quantities of the product. I ordered a red velvet cake and did not see the slice until it came to me. Only to find it was so tiny I thought there must have been a mistake..and for over $6 good for only a five year old or a midget.. I was astounded. Also. The frosting was so thin on the top They might as well.Have just left it off..The cake was not moist, it was terrible.tasting. I eat out a lot and I've never in my entire life.See
I?ve been a long-time customer of Sweet Hut and absolutely love the amazing food, cozy ambiance, and exceptional service. It?s my go-to spot for studying. However, I?ve noticed a recurring issue with a man in the patio area. He?s been there every time I?ve visited over the past month at least. He plays loud music without headphones, talks loudly to himself, vapes indoors even when children are around and other unsavory activities I wouldn't feel comfortable posting here. I?ve also noticed he brings outside
First time visiting and my strawberry mousse chiffon cake was absolutely wonderful. Overall a very good experience, would have preferred for the seating area to look a little better. Overall not bad at all.
I love Sweet Hut! It's a great place to hang out with friends and eat some delicious desserts. There's a spacious area with lots of seating for you to sit down and enjoy your order. They serve a great variety and offer many of their pastries in a grocery-style set up where you can bring it to the counter to buy. The counter offers a few other things along with their refrigerated desserts and boba tea as well! I had the Strawberry Cheesecake and the Strawberry Green Tea with Rainbow Jelly. Absolutely delicio
Wide variety of pastries from sweet to savory and reasonably priced. Plenty of seating and nice and clean inside. Recommend the strawberry crombolini paired with hot Vietnamese coffee. Also can't go wrong with their egg tartes.
We loved this place! They have a lot of cute and tasty desserts.
Great Tea and dessert pastries. The Lychee Black tea with extra aloe jellies in it is amazing here. The food and drinks here are really good. I recommend trying something new every time you visit. Because trying to eat everything you think looks good at once is just not possible here.
Huge selection of bakery treats. Nice selection of Boba tea and other teas. I thought the prices were reasonable and everything tasted fresh. Lots of seating and plenty of parking.
Food is fantastic but they are not ready for a bunch of hungry folks. Line was out the door and food took way too long at 3pm on a Saturday. Don't get me wrong everything tasted great but this place NEEDS better management. After I finally stood through the line (which was out the door) I found myself sitting in a crowd of folks, all of us waiting for food, and we all wished we'd ordered from somewhere else. If this place had better management it would be AMAZING
This is an asian bakery/cafe. A good place to hang out and chat with your friends. We?ve been going here since they opened. Their boba tea is sometimes very good and sometimes taste a little off? i was thinking it depends as to who prepares it. There?s a lot of bread/pastries to choose from. I am sure you will find something for u here regardless of how picky you are. Not really sure if they offer gluten free items though.
I love this place! I often come to study. Despite the cafe always being busy, there is typically always a space to sit with plenty of outlets to charge your devices while studying. I enjoy the boba tea as well as the salt and pepper chicken nuggets (be careful as the spice level hot is pretty spice! :) )
Not sure if this is the right amount but it's what I got. Tasty stuff. Love it!
This was our first we came to the Sugar Hut after having some Korean BBQ. Sadly this will also be our last time. We ordered the $60 worth of pasties, cake slice, and drinks. The strawberry cheesecake was bland and VERY dense, the yogurt strawberry was okay, the drinks were overly sweet and the boba was too dense. My son who LOVES all things sugar and he thought it was too sweet. We have the rest of the pastries to go so we?ll see if they are good tomorrow. We ended up putting it all in the trash uneaten.
I'll start out by saying I love Sweet Hut because I just don't know what to not love about it besides the long lines from time to time when I go there. The pastries are fresh, taste delicious and are not so sweet! The bakery is to die for, and there are so many options to do that! There are a wide variety ranging from basic croissant and donuts to the taro and coconut buns, BBQ pork, polo, curry chicken, coffee roll, pandan cupcake, etc. Now, this is not your typical bakery because it only has certain ty
What a great place to get bakery goods. I love this Korean style bakery. My favorite cakes are here!!! I wish it wasn't so far from my house. I would come everyday. Lol.
We love their strawberry cheesecake and boba options. They have a lot of other bread type pastries sweet and savory. Always can find something good here.
What a neat experience! We enjoyed a few of the delicacies, and my wife seemed to really enjoy her Mocha Frappachino. Overall, the place was very clean and the service was what we expected at such a busy location. A job well done to this local business! -1?? for extremely long wait and it being ice cold inside on a mild day outside.
There are so many options here for such an amazing and affordable price! However, the line can get pretty crazy so if you really want your food that bad, be prepared to wait. The service has been kind except for being ignored occasionally (when theyre busy). Always interesting here. Also, an amazing place to study or just chill. Recommend their matcha donut & mango bubble tea.
The nuggets were extremely salty and completely not edible. Had to throw away. Haven?t been back in a while and decided to today. We be they didn?t even call my name out when my order was ready. So I waited for 20 minutes. It was fine I know mistakes happen. But now I cannot even eat the nuggets. It?s like they spilled the whole container of Salt and pepper in my nuggets !
The bubble tea is fantastic and made fresh. Desserts are also good. The salt and pepper spicy chicken nuggets are amazing. Bubble tea is made fresh and the boba are really soft, chewy, and sweet. The Sweet Hut tea I got was excellent. My friends got a cr?me br?l?e and a salt and pepper spicy chicken nuggets dish. The dessert was made perfectly and extremely sweet and soft with a crisp top layer. The nuggets were out of this world with flavor. The meat itself isn?t the highest quality, but I would put tha
I love Satellite Blvd in Duluth Ga! The culture is so loud on that street and it is amazing! Sweet Hut is the place to be if you are on a date and its like late you dont know where to go then this is the place! If you are a college student studying at home alone and you need some noise this is the place! If I'm meeting one if my girlfriends for a lunch this is place! Or just to stock up on some sweets and bread pastries and get some bubble tea this is it! When you go in you grab a tray and a tong and you pl
We bought 4 red bean buns and it tasted sour and smells musty/moldy. Such a waste of money , we cannot return it as we live in another county. I know what an old bread tastes like as I grow up making and running a bread business for 20 years. We saw them putting the chicken Curry puffs on display stand with the plastics open because it is still hot and this can cause it to turn bad because of the sweat. The place looks dirty too.
Well this was something I didn?t expect. Of course it didn?t know what to expect from my trip to Duluth, GA. The high Korean population brings with it little treasures from Korea-well this places wasn?t little. Massive cases with sweet treats, teas, coffees, meal options made this a one stop shop for someone looking for ? we?ll just about anything food related. We came to treat our sweet tooth. ???????????????????? It?s all here.
Really ambient atmosphere to go and hang out with friends or family. About food its really delicious and very creative food to go so if you craving some creative and adventurous flavors go for it.. try some new teas and coffees and deserts too.. really like this place
The most beautiful and clean bakery! It's so amazing and everyone that loves all things sweets from different cultures its A Must Try!
A must visit anytime in in Duluth. Their breads and Thai tea are fantastic ?? Tried the chocolate ganache tart today and it was divine.
The savory food was great. The sesame sandwich was tasty and they give a lot of sides. The bigogi cheesesteak was also good. The sweets were soso, but decently priced.
Once tried their cakes, after that Whenever it comes to cake buying we only consider sweet hut bakery. Birthdays anniversary any celebration only they are our first choice. Delicious cakes they got. Their chicken tenders are also very good the seasoning on them has a very nice taste. They got variety of things to try.
I enjoyed my visit to Sweet Hut today. I was so delighted by the trove of delicious goodies, as well as the steps taken to keep everyone safe. The customer service was polite and upbeat and I intend to return the next time I'm in the area.
Found this place by accident while visiting Duluth. It was packed from the outside and when I came in, I can tell why. They have an amazing modern bakery/restaurant atmosphere. They have decently priced items such as Asian pastries and bread, cakes, cheesecakes, sandwiches, etc. Service was friendly as well.
If you want a Great Foodie EXPERIENCE, Sweet Hut is your place to gather with friends and walk with your tray and gather DELICIOUS pastries. I did a Facebook Live for my Food Blog "Foodies Taste Kitchen" we had a GRAND time there. It's a great place to Hang and taste pastries from Korea.
I always get the chipotle chicken sandwich and the caramel milk tea with honey boba (sometimes with a pastry as a treat). the hot food isn't anything extraordinary, but i always enjoy it, and am impressed with the quality for that price. the fries remind me of mcd, but rather what mcd's wishes their fries were lol. the food is best dining in or eaten soon after it comes out because it can get soggy, but imo i appreciate that it's not dry. i go to the location on steve reynolds. it's always clean and the sta
Idk why I keep giving them chances, but their online ordering is terrible. This is the third time that I have placed orders online, arrive and I am just standing there while orders are being called out and my name keeps getting missed. I will ask the employees if my order is ready and they say ?we are waiting on?? then eventually when it comes out, I am not made aware bc no one is calling out names or even bothers to ask me who I am waiting for. If you see me standing there for over 10 mins you should proba
My daughter is in love with this place. Very family friendly here. She loves the chocolate mousse and taro tea with boba. We come here often. This is sort of night out for us. This a very trendy place.
The way you get to go and choose what sweets you is very unique. The vibe was modern yet had that coffee shop feel to it. The service is wonderful and sweet. The food itself was great to my likings because of the amount of sweetness. Most of their items weren't as overpowered by the sweetness. I recommend that everyone should try this place out.
We came in about 7:30 pm on a Monday evening and the place was kicking with lots of people. They have a large selection of self service desserts where you pick up a tray, place a liner on the tray and grap a pair of tongs. The desserts have lids that slide up so you can grab what you want. However we did see some lids were left open and a little nat bug was on one of the pastries, gross! We selected about 4 items and checked out where we had to stand in line for a couple of minutes, but there were several p
As the owner went out of their way to respond, I thought I would leave notes. This is SUPER overdue. I went to the grand opening and knew right away this place was going to be amazing. I?ve been coming here for years and introduced it to many people. I often go to their other locations as well in doraville and lenox.
My family loves Sweet Hut! I lived in Suwanee for a few years but now reside in a different state altogether. When we visit my husband's family back home we always make a trip to have delicious tea and treats. The foods are gorgeous and delicious, just seeing the case is magic for little ones. Plenty of caffeine-free options, they run a smooth ship to get you in and out as you desire. Tons of space to sit and enjoy, with various options like private separated booths, the main floor of tables, and even a lar
I love coming here! Their pastries are not too sweet and they're airy and fluffy. The taro (purple potato) fappe is to die for! Although Sweet Hut is packed every time I come, customer service is always fast and great.
First time to the bakery. I only bought pastries. All I can tell you the food must be very good because they had a line going out the door to eat in the restaurant part of the bakery.
This place used to be so great with good pastries, but lately the quality has seemed lacking. The items seem to have shrunk in size yet the prices are marginally higher. The worst part is that no matter what time of day I go, the cafe isn't clean. Floors are sticky, the displays look like they've never been wiped down. Dirty tables even when the place is slow. Condiment station is never clean. I mean come on you make so much revenue and you can't even hire a janitorial staff?
Great prices! They have quick, to-go sandwiches to grab for under $5. They do need to be reheated though. The drinks are good! The desserts are the big thing. Doughnuts, cakes, macaroons, and more. You can't go wrong.
The place is full of attractive and mouth watering bakery items.place is always crowded weekdays or weekends everything is awesome is taste. Ambiance is very delightful. I?d recommend vanilla br?l?e,custard bun and bubble tea. love this place.
This place is one of my new place for treats! Boba teas dream! And cakes for everyone!!! You have to come try it all! I would do strawberry shortcake and a chai tea or a coconut milk tea!
We love Sweet Hut because their wide assortment of flavors. I love anything Red Bean, and my husband enjoys Taro. They're cakes also look so beautiful in the case. I've had their normal food offerings as well. I was surprised by how good it was... definitely better than your typical cafe fare. We went today, and they have the trendy cheese foam available with some teas. I chose the Honey Cheese Foam Green Tea with honey boba. Oh my gosh! So good! I was worried I wouldn't like it, but it was actually perfect
Beware when buying bread here. Miscount and mischarge can happen. I bought 9 pieces of bread, and I was charged 10. That's overcharging, and it is bad business. The breads are overprice too. Not going back again.
I made a stop at this Sweet Hut before I drove home from Atlanta. I bought a massive haul of goodies from their impressive selection because frankly, there's nowhere to get baked goods like this in my hometown, and I've been wanting to try this kind of food forever. Located in a large strip mall, this Sweet Hut is quite impressive in size and the sheer volume of offerings. You can get savory food as well as entrees in addition to their pastries, cakes, and boba tea, but it was too early in the morning fo
Great spot to get grab some sugar with some pleasant hill road flair!
I have been a regular customer at Sweethut, buying bread every week. However, the toast I bought on 10/3 had already molded by 10/5. Outraged, I went back to Sweethut to get a replacement. Even after providing them with my card details and transaction record from that day, they shamelessly claimed they couldn't find my purchase and brushed me off. This is absolutely unacceptable behavior, and we are utterly disappointed. We won't be returning in the future.
