Sweet Dozen

This shop has become one of my favorite Donut spots! I come early for the freshly baked goodies and am always met with a new array of creations along with the childhood classics. So far, my favorites are their signature Mochi donuts--particularly the Lemongrass and Chocolate Pistachio ones. (Very light, very delicate, and I ate 4 in one sitting)--and the Sweet Cream Filled Cronuts. The service here is very welcoming as well. The owner is very kind and his morning baker always greets us enthusiastically.

Just randomly discovered this place existed early one morning when my mom and I decided we wanted donuts but from somewhere different. I came here about 30 min before closing for national donut day to try some of their donuts. They were very patient with me while I was figuring out what to get. They were also super nice and helpful? providing suggestions and recommendations. They even gave me some extras in my box, too! I will definitely be coming back.

The blueberry muffin donuts are amazing, my gosh!! Like the best quality fresh blueberry muffins with a little icing and crumbles on top. Light, proper blueberry flavor and none of that sickly sweet store bought taste you?d find in many blueberry muffins. I will definitely be back again, the different flavors they have here look incredible.

The donuts are good. But the problem is that they only bake a certain amount of donuts in the morning, and then they don?t make any more. They sell until they run out for the day. So even though they close at 1, if you show up at 11, there isn?t much left, and by noon everything is gone.

Let?s start with the positive. The donuts taste pretty good. Not the best I?ve ever had but good enough. That is not where the complaint lies. The experience was sub par. I broke my new years resolution by chomping on these donuts. I had two of them, and let me e tell you they are damn good! They are filling because at 3:00 pm. Typically when I go into work on Saturday morning I will stop by to pick up some fresh donuts. They have a wide variety to choose from, and all taste super delicious. I usually get the ham and cheese croissant and the donut holes. I'll be going back next weekend to try some other things out!

Sweet Dozen ?? I tried this place because the reviews I saw were very positive...my experience is sadly NOT the same.. this donut shop is WAY overpriced for what you get. The quality was horrible! I went here the other day for a dozen. Not just a regular dozen. Fancier style donuts. I was impressed by the flavor of the donuts. But they were also good sized as well. I also tried a Cronut for the first time, also really tasty. it is hard to find a quality donut shop that has the size, the taste, and the price. Will definitely be going back.

AMAZING!!!! The donuts are SO good and the girls behind the counter are super friendly and sweet. I had a latte and it was fantastic as well. The prices are extremely low, especially with how good the donuts are. Their yeast donut is super delicious. They have banana and apple fritters, we got one of each. They are both delicious but the apple is definately better. The only thing I would do differently is that I got the crumble dossoint and wasnt super big on the crumble. The best donuts and "doissants" (a croissant made like a donut) in town! This place has great fresh donuts each day. The staff is super friendly and very helpful. I've never had a better experience in a donut shop. It's what you think a donut shop should be. They also serve coffee. My favorite is their chocolate covered doissant. But they have so many good choices and fun flavors, including maple bacon, you'll never get bored!

Mochi Donuts only available Sat/Sun. They were a little more dense than I prefer but they were great donuts nonetheless. The doissant was great. They have lots of beautiful donuts and plentiful flavors.

These donuts are fabulous. Both the adults and the kids in our family loved them. Some of the flavors are both nostalgic and playful. Such a fun concept for the whole family to enjoy. Best Donuts Ever!!! I live in San Francisco and even San Francisco doesn't have donuts as fresh and delicious as these. Anytime I'm driving back and forth to Tahoe, I make a point to stop at Sweet Dozen! Mouthwatering donuts, crafted perfectly and friendly service as well. A note of caution they close at 1pm, so this is definitely a morning place.

I would give them 6 stars if I could. The doughnuts are amazing and the service was wonderful. I showed up RIGHT as they were closing and the owner was kind enough to stay late and help me snag the last dozen of the day. Wonderful shop. A+ Business.

My husband and I go out of our way for this donut shop. Their classic donuts and fun flavorful donuts are so good. The donut shops close to me are always a hit or miss or sometimes just a big "MISS". So when we found this one, we don't bother with any other donut shop.

I come almost every day before work because I can't get enough. The service and donuts are amazing. Personally I love their croissant products. You can tell they put amazing work into crafting these donuts and much more. I always recommend the croissant holes.

This is THE donut spot. There is such a great selection, you won't be disappointed. The cronuts just pop full of sugary goodness. And the maple bacon bar conjures up a pancake piece smother in syrup with a piece of bacon all at the same time in your mouth!!!

Amazing selection of premium unique donuts! The raspberry stuffed doughnut was delicious! The blueberry cake doughnut with fresh blueberries was an absolute treat!

Stopped by this morning. Service was awesome, welcoming, and helpful. Got an assortment and every one is delicious! Not just your average grocery store donuts. My favorite was a raised one rolled similar to a croissant with chocolate rolled in and chocolate on top. Definitely would return back next time we're in town.

Very good place, I was craving coffee ? and donuts ?? and Sweet Dozen did not disappoint. The donuts were well made and I'm very picky, mostly because I used to work at a donut shop when I was a teenager so I know a thing or two about a well made donut.

Above average quality doughnuts. Flavor and texture are good for the basics. Service is fast but is somewhat over the top friendly. They will sometimes hook you up with a baker's dozen (and even another spare sometimes) when you get a dozen. Update: Their apple fritters have been gooey inside the past few times over the past few years. Haven't come here often in recent years since the kids haven't asked.

A nice clean place with a wide variety of donuts. Went there this morning and ordered two donuts and they cost $9.00. They looked fantastic and were really amazing. The only negative is the cost. I understand I didn't order the " basic" doughnut, and one gets what they pay for. While they were incredible doughnuts, $4.50 a piece is too much for me. Will I be back to Sweet Dozen? You bet, but it won't be a daily go to spot. Maybe a couple times a month. A positive experience all-in-all

Ive lived by this store for 6 years and this is my first of many visits to come. Delicious donut holes. Kindest service. My 5 year old came in so excited to purchase her own donut with change and they were very sweet and patient with her. Excellent service excellent donut quality.

Came there because our regular place was closed. It looked very clean, inviting and modern. Prices are higher than our regular place, but the selection is better too. I knew about this place from my supervisor who bought doughnuts for my workplace at school. So I went to get myself a dozen. And I got to say the place is really nice. It's family owned and run. I was helped by the son, now owner of the place, and he was an amazing guy. I got additional donuts too, free of charge. Overall amazing experience. Glad I came in for today. Definitely will come back next time!

I went here Saturday morning on 4/24/2021. I thought this place was going to be great since it has a lot of reviews.. I?m sorry to say this, but the donuts were not as great as people made it to be. We got a mixture of their regular donuts and specialty ones. The donuts tasted like they were old. I usually stick to the original glazed and it was not soft and fluffy like other places. The overall donuts were just hard to us. I hope it?s not like this again. I am willing to try it again.

I like coming here. But I noticed sometimes the donuts were good and sometimes they weren't. One was fluffy and delicious, the next time it was not so fluffy and extra greasy. I asked out of curiosity if they had two bakers and the lady said yes. Leads me to believe one baker is better then the other. I think the only thing they are lacking is consistency.

Came in this morning for the first time since moving to this side of town. About 10 am on a Monday and selection was still great. I love this place. They have some delicious and beautifully fresh donuts. I really like their fruit glazed donuts and their cronuts. I took the family this morning around 10 am and all my favorites from them were sold out. :( That would be my biggest complaint. They seem to sell out of the best choices fairly often which makes me wonder why they dont make more of their more popular flavors. I also wish they had better drink options.

It was my first time in the store, but bought a dozen for my anniversary! I was offered a free sample as I walked in, the lady told me about all of the donuts, and helped me pick a bunch out. They offer military discounts, which I wasn't aware, so after tipping $2, my total was the same hahaha. The donuts are delicious, moist and one of my favorites. I will be back!

I arrived before 10am on a Sunday and all the good Donuts were gone! ????? I do love "Old Fashioned Glazed and the Sprinkle Donuts" but they only had 1 of each left. California is required to wear masks again and I seen a few customers enter the business with no mask on and the employees didn't say anything to the customers about them not wearing a mask. The woman who owns this shop is truly lovely. This was my family's first time at the shop and we stopped here randomly. It turned out awesome because not only is the food quality wonderful, but the customer service is top notch. She deserves plenty of customers.

My first time in this store since they've changed over. I went in this morning at 6 am on my way to work. There was one customer ahead of me getting a large order. The woman behind the counter greeted me. After a few minutes she said sorry for the wait. She then began transferring the customers order from small boxes to a big box. This place has a really great selection of donuts I haven't seen anywhere else and they're extremely fresh and soft! I'd have to say this is my new favorite local donut shop. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful, the entire place is nice and clean, has plenty of seating, and and overall friendly and enviting atmosphere.

A bit pricey but they are worth it. We are always happy with the selection and the doughnuts. The staff is always warm and welcoming and I've never had a complaint about them. 10 out of 10 would recommend!
