I would definitely recommend Sweet Dough if you have a sweet tooth around Fort Mill, SC. The strawberries-n- cream and glazed croissant were the star of the show. The croissant was cross between sweet and salty it was very delicious. Prices were reasonable for the desserts and customer service was excellent.

Sweet Dough donuts! This place only open Friday, Saturday, Sunday. Their donuts are bigger in size than average donut places. I went three times to try different donuts and and my favorite is the peanut banana with cream and chocolate Bavarian. I love how it?s local business and they have their own secret recipe! You can actually taste the apple in Apple fritter. Overall I like the Long Johns. ??

Appears to be family owned and it shows. The staff is friendly and efficient and these are probably the best doughnuts ever.???? Whenever the grandkids stay they always ask for sweet dough. Happy to drive the 30 mins to get homemade doughnuts. They even filled one for us while we waited. Now, that is the definition of fresh!!!

10.15am on a Saturday and the store was reasonably active. One person being served when we got in and another waiting while we were being served. Ordered a dozen. I have to tell you there was only one sugar doughnut (my fav) by this time. I wanted to try their pumpkin donuts which were special for the month of October and finally made it this weekend. Covid-19: you can order and pay online. They also do curbside pickup. I got a pumpkin filled donut and a raspberry whipped cream donut. Both donuts were good. I wasn't the biggest fan of the raspberry jam, but I loved the raspberry whipped cream. Came here twice, first time went well as there were choices. Second time going only basic donuts available. If you go, go when they open for their best selection.

A lovely bakery! Purchased a dozen, including glazed, lemon, sugar, double chocolate cake, Bavarian cream, strawberry frosted and maple frosted. Definitely among the best donut shops I've ever visited. Every time, they make their donuts from scratch. No production in large quantities is taking place. It's moist and pleasant, and well worth a try. This is an absolute must-visit if you're in Fort Mill or just passing through here. There are a few benches and a parking area where you may enjoy your doughnuts. All in all, I heartily endorse this location. We'll surely visit back soon!!

No more driving to Charlotte for that gourmet donut fix. Fort Mill has its very own donut shop and it's awesome. The staff is always smiling and friendly. They have amazing plain cake donuts and traditional glaze, but also really creative twists on the genre like their "cereal creations" donuts or their crousant donuts (a glazed crousant that melts in your mouth)! Not to mention the strawberries and cream donut made with strawberries sourced from Springs farms!

Absolutely phenomenal donuts and breakfast sandwiches! Staff was super nice and the store was very clean. They make a banana peanut butter donut that I didn't know I needed in my life until I had it and now I can't live without it. Also had a breakfast burrito and they suggested I get the sausage gravy with it and honestly it was perfect. I had my first breakfast burrito there today and it was truly delicious. Not too small or too large, it was a perfect size for a great breakfast. If someone were to ask me if it was world famous? It is World Famous in my book! You can tell that the chef put great effort into making it wiht care. The donuts here are very fresh also. They do have a small but adequate assortment of breakfast dishes. My first thought was when can I go there again next. Order in advance so that it is ready for pickup on the go.

I work across the street from this business and every week I have to stop in and grab one of their absolutely stuffed breakfast burrito! They are absolutely delicious! The donuts are out of this world as well. The service is unmatched and I will come here for as long as they have the open sign on! Thanks for everything you guys do!

We are regular customers of Sweet Dough for breakfast and our food is freshly made and hot! Made to order and well priced. This is a smallish shop so they do run out of products.. but it speaks to the point that they're making sure you get something that is not mass produced. I really like supporting our local shops.

Foods okay but every time i call here they give me a hard time about ordering over the phone anytime after 11:00. They don?t understand customer service and they?re just rude, you don?t tell a customer they can?t place an order unless they hurry up and get there before you leave. This is coming from someone who's worked in the restaurant industry for 8 years. There is a proper way to speak to customers. We love Sweet Dough. Not just for their donuts but their breakfast sandwiches. We order the Croissant, Egg, Cheese, and Sausage every weekend. There?s no better breakfast sandwich in Fort Mill. Their donuts are of course amazing as well. Give them a try. I?m sure you?ll love it.

My partner and I have been waiting to give this place a try! We were finally around when they were open. And it was AMAZING. First off the staff was great. They greeted us and upon hearing it was our first time gifted us two glazed doughnuts. The doughnuts were delicious. I got a cream filled Long John and Biscuits and Gravy. There are a couple of places in Fort Mill to get you sweet fix on, but sometimes you get tired of cupcakes and cakes. My wife brought 2 dozen donuts into my work. These are some fantastic donuts! I personally had an apple fritter and a peanut butter and banana donut. The apple fritter was the best fritter I've ever had. And the peanut butter banana one was amazing! Banana cream inside, dried banana crumbles in the top, and a peanut butter drizzle. Simply delicious!

Decided to find Sweet Dough after lunch several weeks ago. Checked out Google Maps to find the location. These may be my favorite doughnuts ever, through my entire 45 year life. The doughnuts were delicious, light with great toppings. We took our 18-month-old son and got one of the sausage and egg biscuits. Sweet Dough consistently puts out the best doughnuts. A few of my family's favorites are the cronut, apple fritter, and maple bacon. All of the doughnuts I've had here are yeasted, which is a plus for me since I don't like cake doughnuts.

I hate to be Sweet Dough's lowest review to date, but you have to have doughnuts if you're a doughnut shop. Multiple visits with nothing in the case except maple long john's and apple fritters. Trust me, if we were visiting in the last hour or so, I could understand but 3-4 hours before closing you should have at least 50% of your product. I could also see if this happened once or twice.....but we're on the fourth visit leaving with no dough. I LOVED you guys when you first opened and still love the d'nuts

Call before you go! We arrived at 10:30am only to be told that they were out of doughnuts. We made a special trip and expected a doughnut shop to have doughnuts during open hours. Very disappointed! I wish we could get our driving time and gas money back.

Open early! The donuts are somewhere between Krispy Kreme and Dunkin Donuts in texture and toppings - I definitely recommend the maple bacon donuts and the apple fritters. They also serve coffee, so it's a perfect spot for a quick breakfast treat!
