Are you ready for sweet treats this Easter? They have pretty seasonal donuts which makes it so fun! I had: 1. Easter mochi donut set - flavors strawberry, banana milk, sea salt caramel, M & M flurry, rainbow, carrot cake 2. Roje tteok bokki - better than the normal tteok 3. Yuzu lemonade
Try out there new Vanilla Cream Balls. They are so great it?s like eating a churro with feeling. They have 3 different flavors. Enjoy with cold brew coffee. It just seats right.
All clerks are really nice and donuts are so tasty! I always purchase this every my friends? birthday as bonus gift for her lol
This is a rare donut in the U.S. It seems to be made with glutinous rice flour instead of regular flour like Winchell's or Dunkin' Donuts. The donut is chewy and delicious. The Dubai donut, in particular, was tasty. The menu is diverse, so I plan to try various items.
OMG! This place is so different from other Mochinut locations! The donuts aren?t oily, and they offer a wider variety of specialty donuts, which I loved. I tried their coffee and matcha, and both were of very high quality. They use the same caliber of ingredients as high-end coffee shops, which you?ll notice immediately with the first sip. The owner was also incredibly friendly. I?ll definitely be coming back!
They have all I always want The taste of new drink Matcha. Einspanner I tried will be my favorite drink from now on yeh~~ Also their tteok bokki suprisingly it is very delicious. I bought in small just fillup my hunger but definitely will get large next time.
I?ve always been a fan of the mochinut donuts but I decided to try the milk tea and it was a 10/10. Definitely coming back :)
I tried this place out while I was in LA and I've got to say hands down the best korean hot dog and mochidonut I've tasted. Their cookies and cream and Nutella donuts hit just right. The crispy potato mozzarella hot dogs are super cheesy and delicious. It was a delightful experience and would visit again 100%!! Service was amazing and the workers are so kind.
Hands down, the best boba and mochinuts we've ever had! The donuts were a revelation, practically melting in your mouth. My husband and I still reminisce about this place every time we sample them elsewhere?it has truly set an unmatched standard.
Chewy and delicious mochi donuts. I recommend getting them early in the day when they come right out the oven. If you come later in the day, the donuts don't hold up as well. I just love the chewy texture.
I love donuts and love mochi, so these may be my new favorite. If you're into chewy textures you'll love them. Also the segmented style of these donuts make them so easy to share or try one ball of each donut. So good. The hot dogs are bomb too. I loved the cheddar encased one and the mozzarella. Amazing. Anytime they have the ube donuts I'll be there!
I got one dozen mochinut. The owner was so kind. He cave me one mini size mochinut. Our whole family really enjoyed mochinut. I will come back here again! Thank you!
Beautiful packaging & presentation. The mochi donuts looks like colourful flowers ??. My friends & I ordered box of 6 to go. We ate it on plane ride home as movie snacks. Everyone agrees the donut part was delicious with a nice slightly chewy texture but the glazed was too sweet. We barely taste the lavender, Ube , chai or matcha flavour in the icing, it?s more for looks.
Great night snack place. Got the original corn dog and the hot Cheetos corn dog. Both were really good! We also took home half a dozen donuts and two sugar boba drinks in a can. Quick tip: You can drink the boba easier from the can with a boba straw.
This store is on a app. Name Togo to go, so I orden from the app and 5 minutes from the pickup window closed they cancel my order and did not give me any food that I had order from the day before. And is the second time they cancel my order. But I?m more upset of is because I drove 30 minutes from Huntington Park so they cancelled my order literally when I was arriving. And the staff was rude and they didn?t care or do anything to solve my problem they even said that it was my situation not theirs and to co
Went in the afternoon and line was 15min but mochi donut were actually very mochi contrary to what I read from other reviews. $15 for 1/2 dozen is not too expensive. Parking is limited so go during off hours.
Delish mochinuts! Great for parties and creates excitement. They are pretty pricey ($30/dz) but worth the experience. My faves weren't available today, ube and hazelnut maybe because it's Thanksgiving today.
I love donuts and I tend to lean more traditional than fancy but damn the donuts at Mochinut are delicious. I tried the Ube, Churro and LA Dodgers themed one, which I?m assuming is the original and they were all. It?s not overwhelmingly sweet, which great and it has a bit of a chewy-ness to it. Give them a try, you?ll like it.
The donuts and hot dog drinks here are so delicious. It's incomparably better than mozzi nuts in the past!!!
Honestly, the ?naked? mochinut (sounds funny) is really good when you eat it fresh. Parking is pretty crammed. I went on a Saturday at 6pm though and found one clutch parking spot, no wait.
Small family business. Great tasting coffee and well complimented mochi donut. The cold brew coffee was surprisingly smooth and well made.
Tried a few things and can't wait to go back & try more. They have a very unique & creative way of helping meat/cheese on a stick even better. & their brown sugar boba is some of the best I've had. Super friendly staff, even when they have to run after you because you forget something at the counter ?? ???? True story!
I?m not a donut or sweet lover, however, the mochinuts here were of the chain. It was even better right out of the fire. They boba teas were good too. The packaging was different so made it even better.
My experience with Korean corn dogs reached new heights with the potato mozzarella dog, which impressed me with its freshness, heat, and rich flavor profile that avoided excessive sweetness. I also sampled Motchinut, with banana milk standing out as my preferred flavor, its delightful packaging adorned with a playful design.
The food is great and the workers are very nice.
I tried their mochi donut and original hot dog and they were pretty good.
Absolutely the best Korean rice doughnuts I've ever had! The dough was so soft and chewy, and the filling was just perfect. Definitely coming back for more!
Was in LA for only 48 hours and hit this place up twice lmao. Loved the mochi donuts, taro boba, coffee boba and volcano dogs. Hand carried donuts to Miami as well!
If you like chewy donut texture - must try! Donuts were so good! My favorite so far was the churro one. But their creative flavors are all delicious. The rice hotdogs are amazing! Super crunchy and tasty. I like the cheddar cheese one since you get hotdog and cheese together. My friend had the potato one and she loved hers. Definitely going back to fulfill cravings.
This place is very good!! The mochi doughnuts are great and they are super soft. And I mean like a cloud soft. They are great for instagram and snapchat but tbh it's a little too sweet for me. None the less it's a great spot
I wish they fried the Mochi Donuts fresh to order. Since it's fried hours before, it's not the same at all. It's just ok. The Mochinut in San Jose fries them to order, and it makes a huge difference. Mochi Dochi was my go-to, but since they closed, there's no other option for fresh fried mochi donuts.
First time trying Mochi donuts and they were delicious!!! As soon as I got home my family devoured them. I am going back for sure! Highly recommend this place.
We get this delicious do its for my daughter?s Birthday on December and it was amazing to have beautiful and delicious donuts ??
Left to right - 2 Earl grey, Lakers (banana and taro), red velvet, taro (with fruity pebbles on top) and churro. Ready to go back for seconds...
I asked for a box after buying these four donuts and all I got was a big no, so I went home with this 99cents store looking bag, ice cream got all over the container they were in..like if you are gonna go broke for one box, and I had tipped them too. Not going back for sure. Nothing special about them btw.
The Mochinuts are so cute and tasty. There is free parking available in the lot. Be aware this is a carry out only situation so no seating inside to eat the Mochinuts.
Love the brown sugar boba. The fire Cheeto encrusted corn dog looks amazing as well as do the donuts. I?ll try next time.
Mochinut!!!!!! Best Korean CornDogs In L.A. their mochidonuts are pretty good but nothing too out of the ordinary you can find similar ones around town.
I ordered sausage and cheese. It?s very famous in Korean town in Japan. That?s so yam as in Japan. I wanna go again!!
Don't go here; I just came here to eat a Korean hotdog I was kind of craving. I just had half/half hotdog, but they use fake cheese!! and plus they dont take out of the oil for the hotdogs it was full of oily bag. ewww!! this is why they dont have korean customers! bye to this place! dont recommend here at all dont waste your precious money on here!!
Lovely on eyes and also in my mouth.so going back for afternoon snack
Small mochi donut and Korean style hotdog shop. They have a handful of flavours there and the donuts are chewy and soft. Quite tasty, on the sweeter end, but overall a good experience.
This place is great for a fun treat was in line for like 20 minutes but definitely worth the wait
If you want something other than traditional donuts, this might be the place for you.
The owner is super friendly. And very helpful. It's a small lil place for a light appetite. Hot dogs that u never heard of (at least i haven't). And different kinds of churros... fk, so fkn good. 5 star because I think for how small this place is, it packs a huge punch full of flavor. Love it
This is s great little shop offering mochi donuts and hot dogs on a stick. The hotdogs were ok and nothing special but the donuts were great! Their chewy texture is definitely something to remember. Their glazes are a bit to sweet for my taste but my daughter couldn't get enough of them. She said that they reminded her of a similar treat that we had in Hawaii. Overall I will definitely be going back to grab a few donuts on my way home from now on.
The donuts were really nice and chewy, surprisingly light. But the real star of the show was the milk tea.. I don?t know how they make it but it is the most delicious milk tea I?ve ever had!
These are great! This is the first time I had mochi donuts and I was not disappointed. I found that they had a lingering oil taste, which I didn?t mind much, but others might. They were lighter than a traditional donut and I wanted to keep eating them - we stopped by twice while we were visiting LA. Some of the flavors are a little underwhelming, but I really liked the matcha flavor.
Clean, lots of parking compare to other place. Best snack place, Reminds my childhood memories.
They had many choices of corn dogs to choose from and it was very cruchy from outside and spicy sausage inside was really tasty! I do recommend for everyone to try! Store is very clean as well! Definitely I will be back for more!
Delicious mochi donuts and Korean style corn dogs. This place also does really good boba tea (I like the ube flavor). I'd say this place was underrated, but they seem to have no shortage of customers.
Mochinut DTLA is fantastic. Each bite is as if you are munching down on a cloud topped with, I dare say, the best version of each flavor offered that day. They offer 6 different flavors that change everyday, and I have had the delightful opportunity to try most of them. My favorite is red velvet. Mmmm. Anyways, if you haven't already, give Mochinut a try if your sweet tooth is calling for some tasty treats. Enjoy.
Good tasting mochi donuts - crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside. There's a some fun flavors like coco pebbles and churro. Keep in mind you have to buy at least 3 and they're ~$3 each donut. It's a bit spendy, nice for treat but not some place I'd be going to regularly.
Always on the quest for that Mister Donut level mochi donut, yea nothing comes close but at least Mochinut has the chew down to perfection. It?s also not as sweet as the other mochi donuts in town which is my preference. The corn dogs are great, highly recommend all cheese. Ramen dog and potato dog also good. Owner/manager and staff were friendly and helpful.
Mochi Ube Donuts are the best! The raspberry glazed and the cocoa pebbles are just as delicious!
Delicious Japanese donuts. Great staff. Free parking for 5min in adjoining lot.
Tried 4 other places from SGV to Irvine and this place has the best consistency of bread:mochi ratio. Their donuts aren't overly sweet but they have a wider variety of flavors. They are consistent and they also keep well i.e. they don't get hard after a day. My only wish is that they had more powder varieties like dark choco powder, kinako or matcha powder.
Great mochi doughnuts and friendly staff
Cute little shop (new location that just opened in LA, they have other locations like irvine/cerritos/etc), all the workers have masks on and the place is pretty popular but the wait was only around 5-10min when i came at 1pm on a weekday! they alternate flavors everyday so make sure to check their instagram c:! Highly suggest the matcha (its the least sweet with slight bitter, and it does have a pretty distinct matcha taste so I liked it the most), churro was the 2nd least sweet for me and slight taste of
Everything was so good! We got two different boba drinks, donuts and the Korean hotdogs! They were all so tasty! I wish we had one where I?m from.
Ridiculously long line and it's not that great as what others bragged about this k-style hotdog. It's over rated, nothing taste like the hot dogs I had in Korea. If you want try because you absolutely ran out choice, then try this hotdog. I tell you. Not worth waiting 20-30 minutes for it.
the only thing that separate the mochidonut from one another is the frosting on top? I thought they flavored the mochi then fried it to golden brown but nope was wrong..you can't also buy just 1 to try out..instead you have to buy at least 3 they won't sell you just 1 mochidonut....
Small parking lot, and what's the point in ordering online if when you arrive in 25 min and your order hasn't even been put together yet. The dough is doughy but fresh, and not too much flavor.
Was in and out. Absolutely no line and they?re super fast to give me my order. They?re light and the glazes are just the right amount of sweetness and not over powering whatsoever. Definitely recommend!
Small store full of deliciousness! I've only tried the Mochinuts but they are worth the trip! Super friendly service, easy menu to order from. Great place for a quick stop.
Small hole in the wall that's completely with your time! Hot dogs are made fresh to order so are hot and delicious... and the mochinut pasteties are AMAZING!!
They've changed their focus, and now make these delectably chewy mochi donuts, or 'mochinuts' they still have the korean style corn dogs, cheese dogs, etc, but people seem to be coming in for the donuts, and for good reason!
Absence of suger-free or low suger option. Food colors being used are synthetic and may be harmful to body - not from vegetables.
Delicious treats and boba tea. ?? I was confused at the teas lol. Everything is made when ordered. I was super impressed with the presentation and quick service. Lovely experience
Really yummy original rice dog ??
Want to give 1 star because you can eat a whole box and not even realize because they are sooooo good so it's dangerous eat at your own warning because your waistline will hate you but your heart will feel good
I only tried the boba . It was great and I look forward to going back to try more of their menu . The staff was very friendly (:
My sister and I was fascinated Great people, good attitude, mochinut perfection, mozzarella delicious, boba drinks just Wow ?? Will be returning
Although the store was tiny it can use a little bit of decoration but I think they are just starting out overall great customer service
Mochi wasn't fresh, it was almost 18 dollar for 6 skinny donuts. Located in unclean looking place
This is one of my favorite places, great customer service . The Mochi donuts are amazing
It is almost same as another K hot dogs. Menu, taste almost same. Only difference is not wait long and location.
I love this place. Food is great and cheap. Usually there is no wait like the other hot dog place in k-town.
I love this donut place but price went up way too high :'( I would totally go more if they have promotions or rewards.
Maybe the best donuts in LA. I make sure everyone who visits tries them.
Best donuts you will ever eat. So moist and succulent. Literally I dont eat donuts unless they're mochinut's
Gave me stale old donuts today for $20.
Love all the different flavors all the time
Bought 2 of each flavor and enjoyed trying them all.
Love the taste worth to try something new price are high but for try is ok
Tried and shared one of each of the mochinut and I liked them all.
The donuts and boba here are a must eat with your loved ones!
