10 out of 10 recommend! The Breakfast burritos are amazing and so is the dough! First time going to this location and I was pleasantly greeted by the owner . I thought the food was great but the customer service was top notch and put me in a great mood for the day! Grand junction needs more local businesses like this that engage and take pride in the product they deliver ! Defiantly making this a regular spot i visit!
Finally!!?? They have the delicious donuts in town. I ordered 1/2 dozen of donuts with chocolate, strawberry and raspberry filling with 20% off. My husband loves his chocolate donuts. Loved how they approach their customers the person who serves me is awesome she gives free donuts and samples. And the lady who makes my hot cocoa is amazing she didn?t put much sweet in it.???? We will definitely come back again.
Decent enough (for a place that puts sprinkles on nearly everything). Now that they're open three days a week, it does seem like they're building steady momentum...Good to see. My wife likes the cronuts and flavor wise the blueberry, lemon and apple fritters are fine. We were impressed with the variety of lemon donut offerings too.
Delicious and great atmosphere. Staff are welcoming and super nice. Samples sold me on the doughnut. Highly recommend!
The long line put me off at first, but oh my gosh these doughnuts are SO DELISH-- both the square croissant-dough ones and the round 'regular' ones! The line of about 20 customers ahead of us went incredibly fast, and the staff at the counter were friendly, patient, efficient. ALSO give a military discount! I'm not huge donut fan but these were nearly a religious experience. ??
This place rocks! Awesome and tantalizing selection of donuts. Always friendly, cheery (even in the early morning hours)staff. And they seem to manage a few freebies like donut holes or a donut you mentioned, but maybe couldn?t buy. Sometimes you open your box or bag and?there it is! Do yourself a favor and check this place out - maybe with your kids? Or grandkids? Or a gaggle of friends!!
My husband and I love Sweet Coloradough! We?ve been to the one in Glenwood several times, and were very excited to know they were coming to GJ. The quality is spot-on with the Glenwood store. My husband loves the cronuts and my favorite is the German chocolate. Looking forward to when they will be open more days of the week!
Stopped by to finally try this place. I am a big lover of fritters and wanted to try them. It was unfortunately very very overdone. I was disappointed in that. However, the cronuts were amazing and tasty and the fact they could be filled there was even better. Didn't try the cake donuts as I am not a big cake donut person.
They have cronuts! The donuts here are so tasty and a good value. I especially love the cronut holes. The blueberry donuts are also very good. The staff are very kind and knowledgeable. Can't wait for them to be open more days of the week!
This is our favorite doughnut shop, they have the best variety of doughnuts and they always give my pup "hershey" a pup cup and a doughnut hole!! Tanner usually helps us and he always has great customer service and is always so kind to us! :)
At this place, you'll experience exceptional service paired with delightful, generously-sized donuts that burst with flavor. Alongside these treats, they offer stylish askels brand socks and hats?an inspiring choice I truly admire. The kindness and attentiveness of the service elevate the whole experience, making every visit memorable.
6 donuts came out to $20.54. Too expensive. I can't afford to come back unfortunately. Good luck! I can get four nuggets a drink a fry and a small cheeseburger with lettuce and tomato at McDonald's for about five or six bucks or I can get 1 or two donuts! ?? I'm good y'all. Your staff is nice and professional though.
The donuts are amazing! The best I've ever had! I just wish they were open more often. If they were, this would be a five star review.
The donuts were so amazing!! Emily took the time to walk us through all of the flavors, tell us which ones were their favorites, and was just super kind and an absolute joy to be served by today!! They also complimented my outfit and it just made my day ???? The man wearing the headset was also very kind, cracked a few jokes, and everyone made it feel like such a positive experience!! I will definitely be back, i cant wait to try more than the few that i did!! Keep on rockin those cronuts!!
Very experience with this team they are amazing! Best customer service! The food is delicious! I live down the street and will be making this a one of my new weekly morning stops for sure! Every time I have been in I have received more than I ordered? once they brought an entire big box of doughnuts to my work just as a thank you and jeeze it was grrrrreat
Amazing donuts. Their cronuts will melt in your mouth and their cake donuts are substantial and drenched in the tastiest of glazes. Whatever donuts you get, one donut is a full meal, they are hearty!
The staff is really awesome even though we literally pick each donut we get specially, even down to details as small as what sprinkles are on each one. We go get 1 dozen 1 day every week as our donut day and my kids and I are very picky. It is great that they have a card they punch every time you get a dozen and after so many punches you get a free donzen. The staff are always polite, energetic, and patient every time. There is a good size space for you to go sit and enjoy your food and coffee and there is
Excellent sourdough bread, the doughnut was very good but not amazing. I would go back just based on the bread and ingredients they use.
I go to quite a few donut shops, especially for work. As I typically have to be the person that brings the donuts to meetings. I just happen to be in Grand junction for a meeting. Google this place and it came up. I'm not going to lie to you. The donuts are not cheap whatsoever. But they are absolutely incredible. More of them falling are what is considered a cronut. But they still are absolutely amazing. I will definitely be back when I'm in town
Amazing donut and incredibly friendly people! They really make your experience extra sweet??There?s even free coffee if you eat the donuts in the store. Lovely store to come back
Burrito was big and delicious!!! Cronut is a life-changer. How will I ever eat a regular donut again. Great place to meet with friends and solve world problems too.
Morgage the house, we are going to get doughnuts. Easily the most outrageous prices I have ever seen for a doughnut. Coffee and doughnuts were good, but not $50 for a half dozen, a 16oz Americano, and a breakfast burrito kind of good. The breakfast burrito was good until the end where the excessive amount of cheese had cooked into a hard puck, (only possible in a microwave) Customer service was good, but given I could spend less money, for twice as many doughnuts of similar quality... 1 visit was enough for
Delicious. The best donuts in the state, bar none. Anyone complaining about price obviously doesn?t care about quality. They have cheap donuts at the grocery store. If you want the best, it doesn?t get better than Sweet Coloradough. I can?t believe Grand Junction actually got a location!
The donuts are sooooo sooo good. I can only eat ? of one, though. Just a little too sweet which is good because if they weren't, I'd probably buy more than one!
This place is AWESOME!!! The donuts are delicious! Especially the Cro-Nuts! (cross between a croissant and a doughnut)! Service is SUPERIOR! So friendly ALL. Of. The. Dang. Time! Which is extraordinary because you know they?ve been up since early early making these doughnuts super fresh for you! Go get some!
Donuts taste good. I bought 1 donut and 1 coffee for 10 bucks so a bit overpriced. Excellent gift shop.
Way to expensive. They are just frign dougnuts. Nothing special, but yet they are 32 dollars a dozen or like 20 a half dozen. I think this business is gonna fail in GJ, to expensive. And they are only open like 3 days a week. Tuesday Wednesday and Saturday they said. This ain't up valley, this is down valley...we poor babies haha The last shop, daylight that was here was like 12 bucks a dozen.
I wish I never knew about this place... I'm sure I'll be gaining some doughnut weight from coming here. That said, I am a snob about donuts & this may be my new favorite spot, including my favorite places in SoCal. I wish they were open every day of the week. Be warned these folks will sneak extra donuts into your order (free of charge) and might even give you a hot donut to try while you wait to pay. It's awful ?? (that's sarcasm in you didn't catch it). Go see them and have a maple cronut because they're
Not sure what changed but this went from being our favorite Daylight to least. A dozen "pick your own" donuts and 2 breakfast burritos was ~ $50! We were offered salsa ($0.50/2oz cup) and green chili sauce ($1.50/2oz cup). We got one of each and weren't aware they charged for them until we looked at our receipt. The burritos were the biggest disappointment because they used to be premade and in a warmer on the counter. When we ordered, we thought they were going back to grab em since it was still pretty ear
Colora-donot. The offerings are great but the schedule is maddening. I've gone here six time and they were closed three of those. I mean if you can't serve till atleast 11am on a Friday this is a hobby not a business...
$12.04 for three donuts. Fritter was dry and not a single apple chunk, but had 4 star flavor. Glazed was ok; standard glazed. Same with the cream bacon maple cream filled; just ok. Safeway donuts are better across the board and are literally 75% less expensive. Save time and money and get Safeway donuts in Grand Junction
Easily the best doughnuts in town but they are pricey so maybe an occasional treat.
Ordered 2 number 3 and the bill was almost $50 ! the hot drinks were more than hot and after you burn your mouth you don?t know what your drinking?but the doughnuts are bomb! Burritos just sub par
Ordered a dozen assorted donuts. Told the staff repeatedly no ?cronuts.? $32 for a dozen donuts, and 6/12 were the ?cronuts? my kids won?t eat. Overly sweet, heavy, disappointing, expensive donuts. Will make the drive to orchard mesa for daylight donuts, sweet coloradough was a total disappointment for us.
Fresh, very tasty donuts and pastries. The breakfast burrito was delicious. Mocha was hot and well balanced. Excellent service. Out favorite Daylight Donuts location in Grand Junction.
I had a different experience unfortunately than what I see on here. These were not very good that I received. They tasted like they were a day old. They definitely are over priced for a dozen. I?ll never be back.
Open 2 days a week!!? Please bring daylight back, they actually had a selection of multiple donuts and were open most of the week. Tried going in three times now. Guess they don't want business ??
Everyone was so nice!! And patient! Melissa was an absolute sweet heart! (As always) and the donuts mmmmm sooooo good!!
I really cannot fathom a croissant donut, but after tasting one.. I don?t think I can ever eat a raised glazed as my favorite. Enough to where I?ll be getting some donuts instead of cake for my birthday this year. You get what you pay for ????
Waited in line for over 20 minutes just so I could get these disgusting old donuts! Don?t waste your time or money ! I will not be returning !!! You want good fresh fluffy donuts drive down to orchard Mesa they never disappoint ! Plus you get way better service
Coloradough: A Sweet Gem in Grand Junction! Coloradough is hands down the best donut shop in Grand Junction, and I can?t stop raving about it! Their kronuts are absolutely out of this world?crispy, sweet, and downright delicious. Every bite is a little piece of heaven! What really sets Coloradough apart, though, is the people. The crew is always cheerful and happy to take your order, making the experience feel like more than just grabbing donuts. The owners? Incredible. They go above and beyond, often hoo
Not only were the donuts delicious, the staff is SO friendly!!
The service was amazing and the cronuts were awesome! First time in and 10 out of 10 would recommend.
It is always packed and they frequently sell out for a reason! The decor and mechandise is gorgeous, the people are so nice, and every donut is DELICIOUS!
This place is fantastic! I would go all the way to Glenwood for these donuts. Thank God they are now right around the corner.
Family owned and operated! This is a must stop in Grand Junction. You'll never go wrong with what you order. They treat everyone like family.
Absolutely LOVE this place! Used to go to the one in glenwood just for the food, service and atmosphere! So glad to see them all over the place now!
Great place to go get a great donut or coffee. Go get you some. You won't just have one. I had a jelly filled one, and it was full, and I was so happy. Also check out the store next door i wanted to buy so much more. I'll be back for sure.
Ever since daylight was bought by coloradodough everything has gone to hell. New owners treat the workers horrible. They push non English speaking people to train their other crew and complain no one understands. Their food quality went in the gutter. They refuse to follow health and safety rules. So be aware anything u buy was made with disgusting dirty hands and tools. Bottom line is they have ruined this store.
Love the environment, the doughnuts are delicious and the coffee was exactly what I needed.
Donuts are great when you can get them. My espresso drink was terrible. 2 out of 3 times I have been here there are no donuts. Mismanaged bullshit go to 30 road or orchard mesa instead.
My pants have gotten considerably tighter since these people rolled into town 10/10
Doughnuts are delicious. I just almost fainted when they said a dozen was $35.
Best service and best donut shop in Colorado. Open very early, 5am, closes at 1pm so haul butt. Cha Cha gives it an annoyed look, but loves the peanut sprinkle's.
Love this place but they aren't open as much. Think they are slowly increasing when they are open. Love my new hat also!
Only my second time and it was as good as the first. Used the drive-through today. I had an Americano coffee with hazelnut flavoring. A chocolate Long John and a Pine Cone. Yum, yum, yum.
Everytime I come here. They are out of donuts, except for one or two trays of gluten-free. It's barely 8:00 in the morning. It's been this way for several months now. They are losing so much business!
Delicious donuts but you have to get there early! Their breakfast burrito is also amazing!
This was our favorite place to go as a family every Saturday for the last 5 years. Recently taken over by new ownership. Prices confirmed to go up per new owner. The taste and quality of the donuts have taken a noticeable decline. Donuts now have that ?fake store bought flavor?. Prices go up. Quality went down. Such a bummer.
Pleasant.Out of donuts and could not wait for the next batch .What was bought was greasy and too sugary
Bright and clean inside, coffee is decent. Good selection of donuts. Looks like a lot of folks come to sit and enjoy their breakfast inside. Open on Sunday morning. They also have a drive through.
I have bought donuts at the OM location, and they are fresh and delicious. And they give you a couple free donut holes in your bag. I do not recommend this location, on North Avenue. .. . 4.50 for a small latte that was too sweet.! I ordered a maple bar because the lady at the window said she didn't have a glazed donut. It was terrible ! Hard maple frosting and the inside of the maple bar was doughy..I couldn't eat it !. If youre going to pay $2 + for a donut, you want it to be fresh. My second bad experi
In what right mind would you close down a perfectly good donut shop to open one that?s never opened ???????
First time I went there they only had glazed donuts. Next two times they were closed. What donut shop is closed on the weekend?
Donuts are amazing and boy was the staff friendly. When my wife got excited about the powdered sugar cake donut they offered to make her a couple more. Coffee drinks are a nice touch to some really great donuts.
Jocelyn's, customer service this morning was absolutely the sweetest. Just started coming to daylight donuts in the morning and she is just a sweetheart. She goes out of her way and has awesome customer service
Daylight Donuts is hands down the best spot for breakfast in my neck of the woods in Grand Junction. Possibly the best doughnuts on the entire Western Slope of Colorado! The service is incredibly fast, which is perfect when you're in a hurry but still want a quality meal. Their breakfast English muffin sausage sandwiches are my go-to?so satisfying and always made just right. Its affordable and that is very apprecited. But the real star of the show is their fluffy doughnuts. Creative, beautifully made, and
Edit: I have not been to Sweet Coloradough, my review was for the previous company, Daylight Donuts. Haven't been here in years. Loved the fact that the donuts are not skimpy. Price was reasonable and didn't have a long wait.
The cronuts are my favorites! The staff is friendly. Service has been very good. Always yummy.
Great donuts and always friendly service. So glad they are finally open in Grand Junction
Not even open most of the week and still can't maintain supply of the main things they sell, ridiculous very disappointed
We had our first experience here and it was great. We'll definitely be back. Happy about the gluten free donuts in Grand Junction! Nice staff, clean, and kind.
5 Stars ?? ! Best Donuts ?? on the Western Slope hands down !!
The employee was younger and polite. She threw some extra donuts in when I was saying it's actually going to a medical office. They serve raised and cake donuts and some fancier stuff. This place will be my go to when I'm in the area.
Came here for some simple glazed doughnuts and when I asked for them the lady at the counter looked at me like I was from outer space doughnuts are sweet enough without all the extra if you won't serve a simple doughnut don't call yourself a doughnut shop
True artisans that elevate doughnuts to a whole new level. Excellent service and roomy dining area.
I come to this place 2-3 times a week and it has NEVER disappointed. The iced coffees are always better than Starbucks and the doughnuts are seriously the best. They?re fast and the owners are super friendly and sweet. I?ve never once not been greeted with a smile. Not to mention they?re super affordable. Their large is an actual large unlike the other DD in town. 10/10 would recommend this place to anyone :)
Strange hours but really good donuts ?? ??
This is hands down the BEST daylight donuts you will ever have. The owners are lovely, the donuts must be their own special recipe as you can?t get them this good at other locations. I absolutely love coming here and recommend their maple and glazed donuts the most. I hope this place stays wonderful for a long time because I?ll be a customer for a long time too.
They went downhill quick since the original owners sold the company! I?ve been coming here for years now. They only sell donuts two days a week.
I ordered donuts for my twins to share in their class. My order was perfectly made, ready right on time, and individually wrapped just as I needed. My twins were delighted to share with their classmates. They tasted great! I would highly recommend this shop. Thank you so much for making my twins' birthday extra special.
Loved it when it was daylight. The new staff is rude and management has no care or respect for regular patrons. Super terrible rude service last time I was in the short Hispanic lady that said she was management. I don't remember her name. I was a customer since I was a child and I loved this place . However due to this rudeness.i now rate this place a single star. No matter how good food is doesn't out way crappy service and crappy attitude .
Kind of pricey for what you are getting. Their donuts are yummy-No doubt about it. Service is fast and generally friendly. The person that takes your order does it all by memory so maybe they are concentrating on remembering everything instead of smiling and being happy. The hot drinks just seem priced high at $4.99 for a 16oz. Guess its possible they are competing with Starbucks next door. So if you have the $, Daylight Donuts is surely a good choice for drive-thru donuts and coffee. I am a repeat customer
Cute local place serving hot donuts and fresh coffee. The children approve of the donuts and the adults of the coffee! With a Starbucks right next door, I'm unsure how well they do but the staff was hardworking, attentive and the place was clean. It also seemed to be a gathering place for several elderly groups on this Monday morning which gave it an odd nurturing ambience and character. Support quirky, local businesses that work hard for your dollar and give it a shot!
Awesome. The older guy at the counter 2as so nice to us. The bathroom was spotless and the sitting area was very clean as well. The doughnuts themselves were outstanding, like gourmet almost. I would highly recommend it. Note to the owner: I apologize for my 2 year old smearing her hands and face on the glass counter.
This is the GOOD daylight donuts location in the valley. They are way better with quality than the other location. The place is warm, it smells good, they layout is bigger. The donuts are fresh, and are amazing. Definitely worth visiting
So I think I reviewed the wrong store at first. There is a amazing southern women at the north Ave location, I have never had any place make my coffee perfect, she did it! Absolutely best coffee I've ever had, and the donuts she picked the perfect assortment for my family!! They are always so sweet and thankful for our service. I saw some comments about how they run out there out for the day...coming from a restaurant that makes everything to order, some people don't seem to realize making 1 or 2 things for
Went to both grand junction locations today to get my daughter a doughnut. Both locations were sold out unfortunately, however at the north ave. Location we spoke to a very nice lady who gave my 2 year old the last of the doughnut holes free of charge. I know it doesn?t seem like a lot, but not many places have kind employees anymore, so it was so refreshing to have someone who actually cared?? Thank you! We also had the breakfast burritos and they were HOT and SO tasty! Even more impressive is the cost. E
