Raspberry filled donut was good. - Spinach tomato feta quiche was delicious. My husband liked the sausage something that he got, but over all, it was okay. The pastries at 10am don?t taste as fresh as 8am or earlier. The line is crazy long and there are 3-4 people behind the counter working there. I would recommend going earlier for fresher pastries and bigger selection. We did not get everything we wanted and taste today was not up to snuff/previous experiences. Very cute spot with a great atmosphere and a perfect location right near the beach. I got a dirty chai, which was good, but nothing extraordinary. The pastry I had was tasty too. Overall, it?s definitely better than a chain coffee shop, but I wasn?t blown away by the food or drink selection. I?d go again, but I think some of the reviews set my expectations a little too high.

Small, cozy, quaint coffee, and pastry shop. I can say that this is one of the best lattes I?ve had on Hilton head. They made it just right. White chocolate latte whole milk not too sweet. Come early because there?s a line. And I also recommend a few steps away the bad biscuit.

Found this place at the end of our trip, so I only got to try the coffee. However, the coffee here is great!! I would say it is one of the best, if not the best, coffees I had on the island! If I?m back in Hilton head soon, I will definitely be trying the food as it looked delicious and made in house. The place is small and cute inside, and there are some tables outside! It does get pretty crowded later in the day, so heads up!

I came by a couple weekends ago to get some coffee and treats and meant to do this review when I got home. Reese helped us and was so sweet and pleasant throughout the course of our visit. My family stopped here on our vacation this year. The coffees were sooo good! They were sweet and flavorful but still had a good coffee flavored that was not overpowered by flavor. The cinnamon roll and donut were amazing! My dad even said that it is the best donut that he has ever had. Overall, very nice place with good customer service. We will definitely be coming back before the end of our trip!

Cute tiny place, can only eat outside. Coffee was alright, and i didn?t love the bacon egg and cheese bagel, but my family got muffins and doughnuts and they really enjoyed them. Sort of expensive.

My wife and I were on Hilton Head for just shy of 2 weeks, and we went here for breakfast multiple times. My wife loved the different coffees she got, pastries were great, but personally my two favorite things: cheddar jalapeno bagel with cream cheese and their cold brew. Cute little coffee shop in the area to grab a hot or iced coffee, or a snack before you start your shopping adventures! The sea turtle mocha iced coffee was sweet and delicious. They had a lot of amazing flavors to choose from, but the one I got was the special flavor of the day. I ordered the sausage, egg and cheese croissant sandwich for a quick grab and go bite. They had other pastries and sweet treats for you to try also. I really want to try the strawberry cheesecake croissant, so maybe I'll get one

This is the perfect spot for coffee and pastries while on vacation. Convenient location. Staff is friendly and helpful. All the baked goods are fresh and delicious. Their coffee menu is accommodating of all different tastes and their daily specials are delicious. A must stop spot every time my family is in town visiting.

The best words to describe Sweet Al?s are ?charming? and ?delicious?. They make all their pastries in-house, which even goes for their dietary restricted gluten free options. The croissant was delicious. The coffee wasn?t bad. But the reason for the low review, is the girl behind the counter. We didn?t get her name but she was so freaking RUDE. For no reason. We were excited to come in and order after hearing the great things about the shop and were so disappointed by the girl at the register.

Coffee and breakfast options were so good, we ate here twice. Not really a restaurant as it is actually probably a 15 by 15 foot building with a small porch. You walk inside to order and pay and can take your food to the porch or one of the nearby outdoor tables to eat.

This coffee stop is always a must when visiting. The Donuts are to die for. They have great baked goods all around. Plus they are super efficient. Get your food quickly after ordering.

The coffee was good. The quiche was good. The donut was good. Question: Why did you put a ham and Swiss croissant in a press, then a bag? The flattened croissant with cheese stuck to the inside of a bag was a huge disappointment. A flattened croissant that has to be clawed out of a bag is not ideal. It was 8.50, but I only got to eat 3.50 worth of sandwich.. get the pastries and coffee, avoid everything else.

Heck I?d give it 100 stars if I could! We stopped here 4 times during our Hilton Head vacation. The pastries were incredible - especially the chocolate almond croissant. And the cold brew iced coffee was heavenly. The employees are all super sweet and welcoming. And you cannot beat the location on Coligny Plaza. We rode our bikes there and parked them just outside while we enjoyed our morning treats. We cannot wait to come back next summer to our favorite coffee shop on the island!

The coffee here is fantastic! We went several times during our trip. We had to skip the donuts and pastries due to food allergies, but they all looked delicious as well.

I rarely ever leave reviews, but I come to HHI twice a year and all the coffee shops are my favorite part. Unfortunately here, multiple times i?ve been the staff has made me feel like I was bothering them. The food and coffee I?ve had is good, but it?s hard to spend money when people are borderline a bit rude. I understand they are busy but being kind & welcoming goes a long way!

My friends and I had a delightful post-sunrise coffee at Al?s, enjoying some time on the cozy patio. I couldn?t resist trying the homemade pop tarts, and while the raspberry flavor was a bit too sweet for my taste, the guys I was with loved it and happily finished it off. As for our drinks, we were all impressed: a 20 oz Quad Oat Milk Latte, a 20 oz Chai Latte, and a 12 oz Mocha ? all perfectly crafted. This spot is definitely one we?ll be returning to!

Welcoming place to get my morning coffee to order. It was just a walk across the street. Go early or you will be standing in line, but it's worth it. Great service with a smile . Scones, cinnamon rolls and frappe.

Absolutely love going here each time we visit HHI. Our beach house we stay in is just a short walk to Sweet Al?s. The staff there is so friendly and the coffee is great! I get the iced vanilla latte with sugar free vanilla. I love that they offer sugar free options! Their pastries are fantastic too! We are visiting because we had to evacuate our home due to the hurricane. This was our first time at Sweet Al's. The food was great, coffee was good, but the service was awful! The young lady at the register this morning (Monday 9/30) acted like I was bothering her. We probably will be looking for another coffee shop.

I?ve been coming to Hilton head for years now. There are not a lot of coffee options in the area we usually stay. I always end up going to Sweet Al?s a few times on my trip. I think the prices are pretty bad for what you get. A small hot latte is 5, and i always get oat milk to it. The total last time was 6.81, keep in mind that?s a small with no flavor. I would be fine paying this price if the shots were pulled correctly. The last time I went the espresso was weak and makes the latte watery. I?m a barista

Cute coffee shop. Limited seating, limited number of people allowed inside (including children, which was inconvenient). No menus located outside while waiting in line to count people to go in. The chai latte and breakfast pudding cinnamon roll were very good, but pricy.

I had waited all week to try this donut shop?.unfortunately I was left very disappointed. It was a huge waste of 10$ The donuts themselves were bland and stale tasting. There was zero flavor. The apple fritter was SO greasy that the bag was soaked through by the time I got home. And the lemon filled was basically buttercream icing and no other dimensions of flavor.

This place is very quaint. Small, but they have everything you'd want, coffee, danishes, breakfast pastries, all the staples. The coffee is good, not too bitter, and very hot, BUT not too hot. What I enjoyed most though was the people, the people are very friendly. Definitely worth the stop.

We came here after having a terrible, inedible pastry and coffee across the way at a different coffee shop. We walked in and were so relieved to see beautiful fresh made pastries and a comprehensive coffee and latte list. They were replenishing the pastries the whole time we were in line and we couldn?t make up our minds about which to try. Great coffee as well.

Stopped in today for a quick coffee and I am so glad I did. The barista was so helpful and kind while I was deciding what to order. I went with a blueberry butter pecan iced coffee and it was absolutely delicious! As a local, I can?t believe I haven?t been in until now. Highly recommend and I can?t wait to go back!

Amazing Local Coffee and Pastry Spot. We had a short trip to HHI for spring break. Rather than doing my daily Starbucks run, I decided to try somewhere local and Sweet Al?s did not disappoint. This is the best coffee shop in the Coligny area. The owners and staff are super friendly. My wife left her purse here and they went out if their way to post a Facebook post to help us retrieve it. A big thank you to the kind person who returned it anonymously to our resort with all intact. Such magnanimous behaviour is so nice here

Great coffee. I had a croissant with egg and sausage, the croissant was fresh. I also bought a jelly donut for my mom which she said was delicious. They have a lot of other freshly made donuts and treats that all look delicious as well! You will not be disappointed!

Not super big inside the shop but who cares? Donuts are great. The cinnamon roll was maybe the best I?ve ever had, which is saying something. Hit it in the microwave for 12-15 seconds and it?ll rewire your brain. You?ll be booking your next trip to Hilton Head before you finish it. Resist getting angry at your mama or grandma - they did the best they could.

It's on Hilton Head Island, that's worth 4 stars, one of our favorite destinations on the east coast. The treats are scrumptious. The food is nice the coffee has unique undertones and is a nice alternative to the big box shops. Keep it up Sweet Al's, you got it going on!

OMG! Read about this little place and I was so happy to have found it. It is actually on the least busy corner of the little mall, thank goodness. One gets in the line, goes inside and drools over the pastries in the glass case and makes lots of happy choices. Then order the drinks and pay. The croissants are flakey and crispy, full of fruit, chocolate or creams. Remember to take napkins. There were things I didn't recognize, there were empty trays of things that sold out and yet, there was plenty left

Coffee bar. We went out on the first morning of our week long vacation here at Hilton Head Island. We ordered some danishes and cappuccino. It was all very good. The service was friendly. It was crowded in the morning as one would expect. We'll be back again.

What a gem this place is. The coffee is good. The espresso is good. The cappuccino has too much milk in it though. Tone down the milk quantity in it please and it will let the great coffee shine thru. Donuts are fresh, cupcakes are the right size, right sweetness and the right amount of frosting. Rainbow cookies are rainbow cookies... Muffins are nice. The staff is friendly and polite.

Love this little shop! The espresso is perfect and all the food I've tried has been amazing, but the cherry danish is probably the best danish I've ever had in my entire life, a real must try! To top it off, every time I've been here I've been greeted with a smile and always have had excellent service. Also they're dog friendly and keep a water bowl outside for our four legged family.
