The first time I went here the coffee was amazing- like really good. The past few times though my mocha has tasted like nothing- you can't even taste chocolate?? I think they might be forgetting to add espresso to their drinks?! I don't know, trying not to be rude but it honestly tastes like its just milk, nothing else. I order mostly through doordash, so maybe there's an issue with their ordering system.

I appreciate having a non-Starbucks coffee shop in the Valleys. However, I feel Superstitions is hit or miss when it comes to the quality of their drinks. I went about a month or so ago and got the house blend, which I believe was the Cowboy Blend. It did not taste good. When I hear Cowboy Blend, I think dark roast with a richness. Superstitions have the best Chai Lattes in Reno! Stop by and try their wilder flavors to be surprised by how delicious everything is! ???? If you love Chai Latte, you can't miss Superstitions! The staff of the 2 units I visited were very friendly. I recommend going to the one next to the University of Nevada main campus though.

i have pretty low standards and this was rough. Had to repeat three times that yes, i want my drink hot. I tried to pay in cash since the sign asks for cash, and it takes an extra minute while the cashier fraud pens my 20$ bill. Then she forgets my cupcake i ordered and i have to ask. No forks or utensils for a very messy cupcake either. Finally, and most importantly, my coffee tastes super bizzare. It almost tastes like they forgot to add the espresso to my mocha.

I've been here twice now, and both times the drinks we ordered were awesome. Service was great- the barista was knowledgeable and friendly. I usually use coffee shops as places to either do schoolwork or catch up with people, but both times I was here the music was so loud I could barely think. First time I thought it was a fluke, but now that it's been twice, I am not so sure.

Cool, comfy cafe with excellent espresso. Good music, inviting decor, and a selection of treats will make you want to stay a while. Ask for the key for the super-clean restroom with some funny posters.

AWESOME experience. Great drinks - I got the S'mores, fiancee got the Snow Globe (Taro). Both drinks turned out fantastic! The shop itself was verynicely decorated and the staff was friendly and answered all of our questions about the menu. Highly recommend!

The avocado toast was very good, NOT just cheap bead with packaged avocado. It fresh avocado that has been seasoned and it?s made with really nice sourdough and fresh arugula. Well done!

Only been there once. Interested in going back. Got a dirty Chai which was not as sweet as I had hoped. On the way out I heard that they had a cinnamon bun dirty Chai. I wish the batista had shared that. I will be back to try it. I know it's unpopular and expensive but bring back soy milk. Cafes have to do better than garbage Oat milk and Almond. I usually love it here. Get a drink after my nail appointment next door quite often. This time the girl who made my drink was really rude. The girl who took my order was pleasant and kind. I however really didn't appreciate the snarky way the other girl addressed calling out my coffee. You know some of your customers are hearing impaired. Being rude to them, absolutely isn't the way. I sadly do not think I will be returning.

From the ambience to the customer service, Superstitions Java never disappoints! The barista angels are so friendly and helpful and they really go out of their way to make you feel welcomed. The owners are amazing?they always make sure the shop is running in tip-top condition, and they?re sensitive to the various dietary needs of their customers (thank you!), creating a menu that is not only inviting, but also ridiculously diverse and delicious. First time here and we love it! I've never had avocado toast made by someone other than me but it's dressed well and SO delicious. Coffee is great and atmosphere and baristas are awesome.

If you go there on a morning where there is literally no customers in the coffee shop, be prepared to wait over 25 minutes for your ONE drink and then watch people that came in after you get their drinks first. My first time coming in and will never be coming again.

First time going this morning and LOVED it. Amazing dirty spice chai best I've had since Java jungle changed to whatever it is now. And the gluten free cini rolls are to die for.

I come to this place as often as I can. I prefer this place to the local drive thru coffee place. They get you out really fast, faster than the chain, and the staff is super friendly. They have a variety of flavors that are seasonal at other coffee places. I love it here!

My partner and I stopped in here while visiting family and really enjoyed it! We had an oat milk latte and purple rain, both were delicious. We also split the avocado toast, which was so good. The baristas were so polite and friendly, greeting everyone who came through the door. Definitely gives off a cozy vibe and is very comfortable and welcoming, would 100% recommend!

I normally love this place but when I came in recently the vibe was just not it. The staff was constantly complaining about simply having to do their jobs, the music was way too loud, and it just left the vibe lacking. I used to enjoy coming here but after my recent visit I don't know how often I will continue to frequent this establishment.

I was visiting Reno for a week vacation and happened to be in the area and saw this cute little coffee spot. I saw they were advertising mushroom coffee and got excited about it. Apparently they were out of monk fruit sweetener which is what they use for the drink. The quirky environment with mixes of vintage and modern decor and perky baristas made an enjoyable stop in my morning. I ordered a large iced blackberry frost mocha which tasted very good. This place is amazing and refreshing! The two women working there were very sweet and extremely helpful and answered all of me and my sister questions! I really want to support this place as it is the only local coffee shop in our area, and don?t get me wrong the food and drinks are amazing, however, the service is unbelievably slow. Most of the time I am waiting for at least 30 minutes for coffee and a slice of avocado toast, and they are typically not busy when I am there. There is no visible menu inside unless you have a phone to scan the QR code. If you dont know how QR codes work or you don't have a smart phone with you then you can't see their menu. I really love this place. I am not a big fan of flavored coffees, and the confusion that is ordering from places like Starbucks. But I got some great coffee from here that had rose petals in it and locally baked doughnuts. The staff is super nice as well. I will continue to get coffee from here anytime I'm out and about.

Extremely watery Flat White. The ratio of milk to espresso was wrong and the milk was not creamy. There is no way you could do latte art with the milk i had in the flat white. The milk had no texture to it, not microfoam. No normal brew on so waited over 15 min for a simple press, and we were the first in line. Not sure how this place got such a high review but Starbucks makes better coffee, and i am no fan of Starbucks

Coffee, tea, and mystery go well together. This shop has excellent coffee blends, I recommend the cinnamon rolls for a snack but there are several healthy vegan pastry options as well. The decor is enjoyable while you sip your beverage. The Unicorn Tea is a surprising treat worth trying!

Always great coffee and the owners are super friendly when asking for your feedback. the baristas are also patient with my indecisiveness which I loved! The price point is very fair and I love the d?cor they have. Definitely recommend trying out for a cute unique coffee spot.

This is hands down the BEST coffee in Reno. The owner personally took time out of his day to chat and get to know me. The Barista's took extreme care in making our orders and the owner even offered us a free sample of their AMAZING new Caramel Apple drink. I cannot recommend this place enough. I ordered through grub hub. I have wanted to try this place since they opened but live in sparks. I ordered the Death by Decaf and a parfait. Taten (sorry if I misspelled her name) personally called me to let me know that they were out of the parfaits at the moment and she refunded my money back. She went above and beyond and included some mini lemon cakes and mini cinnabons for free. Everything was delicious!! I loved the store its halloween all the time which is objectively awesome. The mushroom coffee was amazing and the snack cakes were great and sweet. 10/10 definitely will come back. Ps. The stickers were super cute too

The chai was flavorless and cold. It literally tasted like water and cream, and it was just barely warm. The pastries seemed stale. The macros donut was ok, but it was definitely not macro friendly. It had about 100 calories less than a regular donut, but a higher carb count. We spent $18 and threw 90% of our order in the trash.

Well, this would have been my first visit to Superstitions and I?ll never give it another chance. The lady at the front completely ignored me except for saying sorry once. There was NO ONE in line mind you, I was the ONLY one in line and I waited at the front counter to order for 10 minutes. Meanwhile, Kylie is taking a Grubhub order that came in AFTER I came into the store, answered the phone for another customer and then gave another customer the key to the restroom while discussing what time she got off.

I shared my experience via Yelp and received a lot of backlash from the owner. I explained how her baristas treated me on my last visit and I posted a picture of my drink. I also shared how one of their previous employees always gave me great service and as you can see the owner seems to be mistaking me for either posing as the mentioned former employee or believes I have a personal association with their former employee. They were really good at first, then some of the Barista's just weren't as pleasant nor did they make as good of coffee...it seems kinda of hit and miss with the staff...but they're better than Starbucks in my opinion. I love how you can color on their giant chalkboard wall, that's always fun.

The place to go for coffee in Lemon Valley. Superstitions is homey and friendly; the coffee is great, the staff is greater. I've been here many times and it's always added an upbeat to my day. And, it's not even 5 minutes up the road from that chain place on Lemmon Dr. Support a local, independent business!

I like the coffee, but one of the baristas made a comment that was really rude- I said something about graduation for college next week, and she said ?oh like your masters, or your doctorate????. I?m normal college age. I just look older because of an ongoing health issue; it damages my skin, causing aging. I cried the whole way home. 5pm is also pretty early to close. I?ve been going to Starbucks instead- I can?t get here on time, and nobody there comments on how old I look.

Waited from 720am-805am for a coffee with 3 Barristas. And was asked what my order was due to them forgetting my order. After being asked it took 3 minutes to get the coffee. I feel they were prioritizing online orders instead of in person orders as people kept walking in picking up coffee and leaving without going to the register. I am not sure if this is common but it is disappointing.

I love the coffee and options you have! I was told that the Joe app would be more convenient but this is the second time I use it for curbside pickup and no one came out. I had to go in to grab it. Looks like your understaffed the girls there where busy I understand why they can't come out but they used the excuse that the joe app did not work. This is one of my favorite coffee spots and thankfully it's on my way to work. Sadly their hours are all ways changing. I work nights and was able to grab a coffee before I went in but today I went there and they were already closed. Very disappointing.
