Great breakfast spot! Fresh orange juice is some of the best I?ve had, and a generous portion. Service excellent and fast. Omelette and pancake with eggs platters were good and very filling. Definitely coming back to try the more traditional Mexican dishes. Cash only. It was pretty full but not more than a 5-10 minute wait for most places.

Enjoyed the food here. Wings are very good. Get the sampler with the three types of sauce. Meatloaf has onions on top. I tried the chili cheeseburger and onion rings. Donuts are good too.

In Brooklyn for an art exhibit and we got there too early so we decided to stop in for coffee and a snack. So happy we did! The nicest people working there ??, great coffee, perfect fries and yummy donuts. Will return for a proper meal ?? Accessible ??, street parking. Varied menu with lots of healthy choices. When we got to the art exhibit we met a couple that, when they lived in Brooklyn, considered Sunset Park Diner their absolute favorite diner!

I love the weekend breakfast/brunch. We got the farmers eggs which came with chorizo, fried cheese, eggs, tortillas, rice, and beans. No matter the time of day, the food and service is always great.

Big portions, friendly staff. They accept only cash. Nice diner, had breakfast there and I was satisfied.

Sunset Park Diner Est. 1981 Layout/atmosphere *Booths; seven seat counter; TV; cash only; 24 hours Service *Solid Food/drink *Chorizo & eggs (three over easy) with home fries & rye toast - good *Donuts (Coffee roll - good; huge [favorite]; plain cruller - dry, didn?t like it; cinnamon sugar donut - good; glazed donut - good) - all yeast style donuts

Great atmosphere and the food was delicious, the menu has it own creativity and be prepared to only use cash

Typical diner, though their food is good. It is not anything to write home about. I ordered a hot cappuccino to go, and because I wanted a 16 ounce and not a 12 ounce I was charged for two which was Around $13. It?s 24 hours which is convenient. The donuts are homemade as well as the desserts and the food is better than most diners, especially in this area. I usually order takeout. They do not take cc cards, but they have an ATM out in the Vestibule. Plenty of seating at the counter and booths available for

My family and I had a brilliant breakfast here when we visited New York. The food was delicious and the staff where very friendly and kind. The only thing I would change is being able to pay with a card, but they do have an ATM inside the diner.

French Toast was great when I had it. Only issue is that they aren?t really ?Open? 24hrs. Around 4-5AM they close which I found out the hard way. CASH ONLY but there is an ATM in the restaurant if you don?t mind

This place is great! The food was really good, and the staff are nice too. It's a great place to visit, and I wish I had a place like it in my hometown!

I love this place. I started ordering a couple months ago - the food is consistently delicious and inexpensive. I?m so happy they?re in the neighborhood

Amazing food. The corned beef hash is homemade and done perfectly! I?ve been looking for hash like this since I moved to NY 11 years ago. Open 24 hours, I will be here often.

A very good breakfast platter! The price was good as well as the portions and taste. The food was quickly prepared and delivered. I enjoyed the breakfast platter so much that I ordered it twice in a row.

Surprised to still have found a traditional breakfast spot like the old days. Great fresh tasting food. Not a single complaint. Even the staff here is super friendly. Great prices as well.

I love it here. It?s not a fancy place but you will love the food and the customer service. The kids where asking me, mom when are we coming back. The lady who took care of us was the best waitress I ever had. She was so nice. Offer to take our pictures and gave us free donuts for the kids. I really love the place. It?s clean and peaceful and excellent food.

They have the best pasta! I love the flavors and can?t get tired of it. They only take cash, so we did pick up through Uber. The pasta was amazing, and we ate happily! We just love the taste of it, and it comes in a big portion too.

Had a breakfast egg platters with home fries & sausage and it was tasty. Open 24 hours and close to transport.

This place is pretty cool. We had an incredible server. She was welcoming and very friendly. Very tasty diner food. The most memorable part of the meal was without a doubt their desserts made in house. The cheesecake was delicious and MASSIVE. The blueberry pie, which I ordered, was also spot on.

The person on the phone was incredibly kind and patient, even though I had to keep asking him to repeat himself because of the noise on my end. The taco was pretty good, though I was a little disappointed to discover the sauce only after I finished one of them. On the bright side, the buffalo wings were amazing, especially when paired with the green sauce that came with the tacos which surprises me.

Food could be better . All 4 eggs were broken. Pancakes were terrible. 2 People had them and neither one liked them. Staff could do a better job with rowdy customers. Went for an early Sunday breakfast and Several drunk people from Saturday night were in there. (7 am). Screaming, cursing , Not your desired Quiet breakfast time.

12am I'm starving & want pancakes sooooo here we are & let me tell you something. QUALITY diner. The chocolate chip pancakes were made from scratch and were absolutely delicious. I'm not a fan of eggs but when you're getting them on a deal, why not. But now the turkey bacon. See. I love me some turkey bacon and eat it frequently. When our waitress asked if I would like the turkey bacon well done I hesitated for a moment, I had never been asked that before. Since she stumped me I obliged and I am so happy I

This diner has been here for years it's frequented by the MTA workers at the bus depot. It has good food I ordered two eggs sunny-side up and home fries I wasn't able to actually dine in do to covid-19 restrictions. But the eggs and home fries are very good and the price was a tad higher than you would expect for what I got. I would go again if I was in the area

Great food. Jessica is the best server. Always speak nice, tender, number one! Peter jonathan

Food is good, prices are great! Turkey burger with curly fries was delicious. Kool, relaxed ambiance.. would definitely recommend & it?s 24 hours!

Food and costumer service are top tier! Had breakfast for dinner at this lovely diner and it was one of the best decisions ever ??

The food was amazing! The stuff is nice too and the prices are great for their food. I highly recommend this one!

What a great way to start the morning. The coffee is good and actually has some body. Had the Chorizo and eggs. The dish came with toast and home fries. Delicious meal. Service is friendly and attentive.

I love this diner! We had brunch and it was so delicious! The staff were the epitome of good service. We got donuts to go and they were yummy too! Super kid friendly, delicious food, amazing staff, and cool venue; it doesn?t get better than that!

We came here two days in a row now. It's been great both times. They are very polite and attentive. They work as a team to serve you. The restaurant is clean and cozy. I had corned beef hash and it was great. My husband had French toast which was so tasty after I was done with my breakfast I started in on his French toast. We will be back every day till we go back.

Delicious food, comfortable/cozy atmosphere, excellent service and great prices. I highly recommend trying it out!

We went to this diner with enthusiasm from all the stories my aunts and uncles of told us. Probably the administration has changed, and the poetry had been lost, as we were denied counter seating and than obligated to leave.

I love there food but they were randomly Closed for no reason .

This diner is such an amazing blessing to have in this neighborhood. However, they ONLY take CASH!! Either way, they're wonderful. Great food, servers are always amazing 24/7. The atmosphere is just what is needed as well. I frequent late at night and they're always delightful. ??

DONUT PANCAKES! The day we visited they had a special, Donut pancakes with fresh blueberries and strawberries. It was ?RIDICULOUSLY DELICIOUS?. We ordered that as a side and shared it. So good! Our entrees were very good as well.

Solid diner food that was reasonably priced and tasty.

Fantastic little brunch spot. The service was perfect, very attentive, very prompt. Food was amazing and very quick. Great atmosphere and great location. Would definitely recommend to any breakfast enthusiast

The french toasts are moist on the outside and on the inside (when they should be crispy on the outside and soft/moist on the inside). The eggs were very good though, and that's why I give 3 stars. I recommend if you get some regular toasts, bacon and eggs but stay away from the French toast.

Really great place to get breakfast. Had the chorizo with eggs and some fried cheese. Fried cheese? Yea! It?s good!

It's a nice cozy place with good food and fair price.

To say delicious food would be merely an understatement! I've never tasted anything so amazing! This is definitely my go to spot next time I'm in Brooklyn! And the service is great too!! Two thumbs all the way up!!

Lovely diner! So friendly service and good vibes. Recommend the tasty sandwiches

Never been in New York before and I think I just had a Texas breakfast here in Brooklyn LOL

Food portions decent. However, my lamb Gyro was too dry.

One my main go to late night spots in Brooklyn. Usually my expectations are low for a 24 hr place but the food here is always on point! Service is nice too. My buddy?s go to dish at 3am is the corn beef hash. Their soups are well made here as well as their donuts. I was pleasantly surprised at first, I didn?t expect such a cozy nice place that?s 24hrs in sunset.

Great diner food, great donuts and decent coffee.

Great food, fast service, and good portions. Just a short walk from the 36st station and close to Sunset Park. Only complaint: Cash only.

Classic diner. Really good pancakes. The employees are nice. Great donuts

After already being there and being denied water to my friends , even though we?re paying customers. I guess it?s also build - a - bear workshop might as well just you the ingredients to make your own a burger as well when it comes to their delivery . ???????

We stayed in the 39 St/5Ave area during our vacation (summer 2023) and had our first NYC Diner experience at Sunset Park Diner. It was fantastic! The atmosphere is spot on, this is the quintessential diner, the service was awesome and the servers were very nice. The food was typical good home food, nothing fancy, just tasty comfort food! We went back 2 more times during our weeks stay!

The breakfast I ordered for take out was delicious. I ordered a Western Omelette and some Cheese Grits! Everything was cooked to perfection!

I didn?t sit inside to eat I order to go & when I tell you? I?m one of the most detailed reviewers I don?t easily give 5 stars what so ever. I apologize for not taking pictures I was starving but I had the pancake breakfast platter with eggs & bacon & a sugar donut. Everything was fresh & tasteful. 5 stars. They deserved it. No complaints, even the customer service for the brief moment I picked up my food was good. HAPPY FATHERS DAY finally a good diner in Brooklyn. One of few.

Tried to walk in @430am and they told me they were closed. Can?t be 24hrs. They don?t accept cards, cash only

The food really sucks and the manager gave me an attitude the food almost gave me a stomach virus they didn't cook the corn veef hash at all and also coffe was horrible i told them to send me a new one

Best Breakfast around. Top Service. adorable Doughnuts. We came here every morning during our NYC trip

The texas burger is great and so is the breakfast platters very nice staff

I'm an Uber eats delivery courier. This place was a nice change from how other places treat delivery couriers. The food cooking in the morning smelled amazing. The staff was awesome. Great location for breakfast or any meal, I would think.

The food is exactly what you?d expect when ordering at a diner.

Food was good basic diner type more old school, they only take cash but I went and the ATM wasn't even working but the waitress was nice. I'll deff be back

Good assortment of fresh donuts, and fair breakfast menu as well! Great service too!

This is my first time ordering for delivery I?m so glad they serve breakfast around this time of the night I just got out of surgery today and I absolutely love this diner food was great my kids loved the French toast with bananas and strawberry

Super slow service, good food but you need to have time, we try to go for breakfast before dropping kids to school and we had the food 5mn. Before school start despite asking them

Great food! An awesome East cost diner. Recommend!

I came here after an event in industry city. My friend and I were the only ones there. At first I thought it was sketch but we could see they were getting several orders for delivery. Service was fine. The Diner food is typical. We had fries, mozzarella sticks, sweet potato fries and a turkey burger. I was not mad at the food. Good late night spot in that area.

For a dinner they are great. Good is decent with a very reasonable price. People are so friendly. We were stuck at midnight after late night dinner due to the rain and they gave us donuts to cheer us up.

This place is small but packs a punch! I come here often when I'm in the neighborhood, it's cash only btw. Always clean and booths are small and very close to one another, but never bothered me. Never packed when I go. Will come again to this quaint diner... food is good too!

Waited 20 minutes wasn?t even given a menu so I left.

Huevos poblanos on the weekend menu, and pancakes and coffee. It?s the perfect diner. In every way. Francisco and the rest of the staff are like family.

Pro's: manager was welcoming and friendly. The buttered toast. Very convenient and accommodating. Cons: under cooked home fries with skin still on. Veggies such as onions and peppers were not cooked throughout. Eggs were ok but lacked any form of seasoning. Chocolate donut was a tad stale, and yes I went there at 6:50 am so my expectations were a somewhat fresh donut.

Every time I have came here with someone the chubbie Spanish lady who works midnight always has the nastiest attitude and makes us feel very unwelcomed. Me and me peoples will no longer be coming here due to this we don?t feel welcomed we feel as if we?re bothering her when speaking with her, she rushes us with our order. We caught her rolling her eyes she is very miserable

Food was terrible and cold. Paid 20$ for 2 eggs and bacon. Service is terrible as well had the waiter take my order 3 times just to get it wrong. Worst diner I've ever been to. Do not recommend.

literally so good. get the homemade chorizo hash. pancakes are phenomenal, made from scratch. I would add a picture but I already ate it all! thank you for making my belly so happy

My husband and I ordered from here on Saturday night. He had brisket on a roll with crispy fried onions and sweet potato fries. I ordered the Cobb Salad with grilled chicken. The salad could?ve fed 4 adults, HUGE! It had at least a pound of grilled chicken on it and was by far The BEST salad I have ever purchased outside! I will definitely be getting another one very soon! His food was also out of this world but The Salad, THE GREATEST OF ALL TIME!

The service was great. We ordered it was 1am and the food was fresh and well prepared. Our waitress was the greatest also which makes a big difference sometimes. I recommend them. If you want great food this is the place to come to.

Absolutely love eating here whenever in the area. The food is good, service excellent and fair prices. The African American that works overnight is the most welcoming and warm waitress ever. It is like visiting family to see her everytime I stop by, she is truly a sweetheart.

I didn't take pics because a diner is a diner right? Wow I wish I did. My bagel was super fresh as were the tomatoes. I also tasted the chicken parm, everything was seasoned so nicely. I purchased 1 coconut donut, it was the most delicious donut I've had in a while.I wish I'd purchase more because I live too far ??

Went here for a quick breakfast. Ordered the steak and eggs. The steak was a paper thin slice of way overcooked who knows what. Not enjoyable at all. Hey, even when you're hungry and anything would suffice, this was the most disappointing diner I've ever visited. Eater beware.

Wonderful Sunday morning breakfast! Best home fries we?ve had in years?and their chorizo hash is fantastic. Staff is wonderful?real N.Y. sense of humor. Can?t speak to the donuts, but they seem to be a favorite with the local kids. If you?re in the neighborhood definitely stop by!

A hidden gem at the top of a hill with very quiet in the early morning. Pleasant wait staff. My order was perfect and and on time. The coffee is hot and absolutely divine. I would have ordered more food if they had accepted credit cards, unfortunately they only take cash.

It's a generic diner so don't expect anything special but the good thing is that it's one of the few places around that are open 24 hours. So it's a great last resort.

This place sent me to the hospital. I ordered 2 chicken tacos which came by DoorDash. When I received my food I bit into my taco and I noticed the meat wasn?t cooked fully. So I decided not to eat, later on that night I felt nauseous and called the ambulance because I started throwing up go to the hospital and I was told I had food poisoning. I will never order from here again they are nasty and careless.

Everything is pretty alright, food is decent, can't really complain about the service. HOWEVER the TIP is now mandatory and applied to your bill. Tipping should be an option based off of the service provided rather then being mandatory.

I've ordered takeout from this place before, but this is the first time that I ate inside. Everything clean and spaced out well. Whoever the waitress was on 4/12/21 was possibly the nicest I've ever had. The only reason it's 4 stars instead of 5 is they use some strange seasoning on their burgers. It doesnt taste bad, just odd. Try the homemade doughnuts! Solid diner.

Food was flavorful and fresh. The place is smaller than you think, so there was a short wait, but its definitely worth it. This is my family's new favorite spot. Can't wait to go back.

This place was an unusual find... I didn't know there were 24/7 diners in Brooklyn ( thought that was only a New Jersey thing). Nevertheless, it came up on my friend's GPS as the only local place to grab food so we all went. On my side: the chicken quesidila was a very good bargain and very filling. I asked for a side of avocado and lettuce which was provided for a very very reasonable price. My friends got burgers, eggs with bacon, onion rings, and donuts. Everything I sampled from my friend's plates was

Had a straightforward breakfast, 2 eggs, sausage (the big thick Frankfurter kind), home fries (really good) and toast, with coffee for $8.98. Hard to beat that. It was crowded on a Saturday morning but not overly so. Wait staff very friendly and efficient.

Stopped in here on the way from work I felt like having some breakfast I've been here before I had eggs over easy and Turkey sausage And I saw a nice fresh blueberry pie Homemade crust Just hanging on the sides of the Pan So I asked for a slice To go When I finally decided to eat the pie it was not the same one that was on the shelf The sausage and eggs were overcooked But the home fries were good, a cup of coffee.Bill came to $21.50 Parking in the area is tough it's like musical chairs you're lucky if y

The diner was not crowded when my friend and I arrived at 4pm. The restaurant was tastefully set up with several booths and a small counter area. The wait staff was courteous and the lunch order came out quickly. I had the veggie burger lunch platter with a small salad and lentil soup. My friend had the fried fish platter with lentil soup. The food was tasty and reasonably priced. We had a very pleasant lunch. The only item to be aware of is that they accept cash only. However, there is an ATM by the doorwa
